Not that much really. From what I have actually seen and read in the wiki he plays his role as a villain and "vampire king of the night and ruler of monsters" because it's beneficial to him since it makes it easier to distance himself from people. His methods even though are in the end he does it for the good of others tend to be underhanded and he can be a good manipulator. He cares too much for people and carrying too many of their responsibilities for them is what made him how he is now, he was seen as a genius and made to shoulder way more than he should have as a child. The way he acts towards ritsu now seems to be to try to make up for leaving him completely alone while he was constantly traveling. He was childhood friends with keito and they like the vampire shogun series, they have a complicated relationship. I don't really know what's going on with Kaoru but apparently he's one of the only people he has at this point let get close to him (also whatever their relationship it's some flavour of queer). He's Madara's "predecessor" in a way, I actually don't know that much about their relationship. His relationship to Koga was also slightly strained in !-era (I think they're better now?). If it wasn't for him Trickstar would have had no chances against anyone and couldn't have carried their revolution as fast as they did. I think that's it??? More or less?
