About the goddam WW Crypto thing

I really should have known by now wildworks was unable to do anything right...If they go through with this shit I'm gonna riot fr, gimme my fucking 8$ back lmao.

Anyway, here are some of my concerns:

1. Where is all this money/staff coming from, and why can't it go towards games that are already in development??

WW can barely hold 3 games (or two and a half, let's be honest...feral is STILL IN BETA NEED I REMIND YOU) together right now, from what I know there's very little staff and not much money to go around. Feral was taking staff from AJ for a while, and now that they've been sent back to AJ there's supposedly no replacements being hired. That may be because there's no money, but also it's likely that they've been planning this for a while...still you'd think that Feral is a number one priority. Are they *trying* to kill it or what? Once Fer.al is more finished, they should be able to rake in more sweet sweet cash (cuz spoiler alert, many people like to play games that aren't broken), so why hold it back in favour of a new project?

2. The hypocrisy of making Animal Jam and then THIS???

This needs no explanation.

3. This was so obviously the wrong move?

If anyone at the top tier of WW knew SHIT about their demographic, which is honestly probably the exact opposite of crypto bros, they would know that literally no one wants this. This company is so shockingly out of touch, how could this possibly happen?? Massive boomer energy lmao, they really don't have a single person in a leadership role who could have said "yeah idk how that's gonna be received bestie" Also HELLO DID Y'ALL NOT SEE THE MASSIVE BACKLASH FROM THE COOKIE RUN FANDOM WHEN DEVSISTERS STARTED TALKING NFTS???

Aight that's all I got for now, we better fuck this company up until they back down.

Queen Quests and How They Could Work

So the queens are coming back eventually (probably on the one year anniversary of open release would be my guess) and I have not stopped thinking about how they would be used. There's (hopefully) no way that WW will put these ladies in game and then make them useless, so what could be there use?

If you've ever seen my other post about things I want in Fer.al, I mentioned Queen Quests and now that it's been haunting me in my dreams, here are my suggestions.

Queen Quests would start soon after the queens are freed, they're weak and hold less power than they use to and since the mirror is broken they can't communicate with the kingdom like they use to. This is where you come in. You have the choice of choosing your queen and helping them with their duties. You may be sent out to deliver some mail, maybe your sent to check in on Mugmyre Marsh, maybe Aradia sends you to prank the shit out of her sister (at least I think they're sisters??), anyways, you get the point. You're sent out to do some engaging quests (nothing like the season pass quests because let's face it, those are just chores) and you come back to your chosen queen to gain reputation. You only get to choose 1 queen and your locked in until you reach the highest level for her, then if you choose to switch you will be set back to 0 reputation and start back again as the lowest rank.

What's reputation? Glad you asked. Reputation is a new system (kinda like leveling) that involve ranks. You start out with no reputation and maybe only have access to the courtyard of the castle, but you can work your way up. I'm going to give some examples of what the ranks could look like and their unlocked portions.

Page: Courtyard access

Squire: Same

Sergent: Access to outermost rooms of the castle

Knight: Access to your Queens bedrooms

Thane: Access to your Queens private studies

Probably some other impressive title: Complete castle access

With each part unlocked there would be bits of lore and things to find, maybe even exclusive features that can be found in these sections. There will need to be multiple quests necessary for each level and the higher you go the harder it gets. It would take someone a long time to climb the whole latter and once you reached the top you can gain "starred levels" where you can choose to start at "Page ⭐" and have a new set of prizes (or just randomly generated items that are appropriate for your level).

For example: Once you reach the level of Knight you gain your queen's knight armor. This is noncraftable and you will only get one on your playthrough. When you reach Knight ⭐ you may get a leveled up version of this armor or maybe you would even get a queen inspired outfit.

Other prizes can be unlocked with tiers, like more look slots, exclusive body parts, exclusive emotes, more decal slots, exclusive clothing/dye/furniture/enigmas. Maybe eventually an exclusive animal. I would love of at a certain level you could form a group and would be able to team up to complete queen quests. If WW doesn't want to deal with all that, then just have the queens give out 1-2 star fragments for each quest. That way players can grind their little hearts out to get what they want, leading to more players being online for longer which is what WW wants.

Hell, you could even make it competitive by having a leaderboard. Most quests completely today, most recent rank shifts, most quests ever completed, highest ranking sparks, etc. Maybe you unlock a little plaque if you get into one of the leader boards.

Anyway, now that you've read all that and hand a million ideas swimming around in your brain that will ultimately lead to disappointment when they end up just sitting on their thrones forever without doing anything, anyone else got any ideas? Anyone agree, anyone think this is dumb, anyone been thinking anything different?

SO I played Fer.al for about 2 hours last night. And have come to the unfortunate conclusion that when they SAY early access they mf mean it.. there's nearly nothing to do! Here are a list of activities to show you:

1. Run around large open maps till you find ingredients and hold down "E" to pick them up. Grind like this in order to get enough ingredients to craft clothes or dye or furniture. This is the main gameplay.

2. Design your creature (best part so far), but you're limited to 2 avatars and 2 design slots unless you spend real money on them.

3. Mini games that give you "likes," the non-premium currency. They're scattered through the map though.

4. Decorate your house. You can buy a cooler house with real money.

5. Simple fetch missions (some of them a daily task) where you... run around the large maps and hold "E" to pick up ingredients. Missions given to you by shallow characters who only have the same few lines to say.

So yeah, my consensus on the game right now... is that it is almost WAY to early access. It's almost so early access that I have no idea why it's open already! Feels like it needed a good few months more before they opened it to public testing imo.

It functions as a fancy 3D chatroom with a few mini games to do, but much of the world, game, UI, and designs remain glitches or broken. Maybe give Fer.al a little more time

Just saw the q force trailer and I regret to inform everyone that I am no longer attracted to men. I am attracted to everything but men. In fact I’m becoming one of those people who hate men. I am mhm now (men hating men). As I type this I am running away into the woods to hide from the world.

BUT ALSO WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT. I have two theories: the show actually sucks and was written by a team consisting of a straight 13 yo girl and a 50 yo straight man. Or: the show still sucks but it’s on purpose and the marketing team wants to exploit the power of hate watching.

Either way, don’t watch it whenever it comes out. Also I hope the queer voice actors are getting paid WELL for this. The straight actors,,,,idk the circumstances of their hiring but I sure hope they didn’t do it willingly cuz this is FUCKED UP.

Final thoughts: I would beat up the guy with drag makeup and a weirdly large mouth. On top of being stereotyped to hell and back he also ends up acting predatory and creepy towards the most “straight passing” guy of the group by making unsolicited comments about him. This is SO dangerous because it perpetuates one of the worst stereotypes about mlm: that we try to force ourselves on straight dudes.

Final thought 2: Also I’m confused as to why there seem to be two other dudes who are part of the “main group” but don’t get any lines?? My best guess is that they’re less “gay” as characters and that therefore they don’t have so many wild lines to show in the trailer.

Anyway if I’ve gotten anything wrong just let me know. I haven’t done much research or anything, I’m mostly going off what I saw in the trailer.
