Clearing up your fandom spaces so you can be more up-to-date about zines & events and such, for a more pointed kind of approach to it.... getting hyped to see all the zine teams & the artists and writers they work with...

.... then returning to Original Author land where you gotta hold up your OWN fandom with your two goddamn hands like

#i got 3 fanart pieces and i am SO over the moon about them i'm like #it's fucking magic #i need to repost them actually qlkjfhqsdf #i feel like *I* am the one who has to curate the sort of 'fandom space' for my series?#like put fans in touch with each other/centralise everything lol #ofc they talk about these books in their own bookclubs and such #but fan events and fan weeks? that shit gotta get organised #this is when the absolute importance of megafans comes into play #man we don't realise how we ALL hold up the media we love even when the creator has moved on #or doesn't have the spoons for their own marketing #i have an xcel sheet now to keep track of the people who are really invested & who i could ask for help with marketing #i haven't had the balls yet lol i will contact them when book3 is ready #but mannnn #megafans are so precious #indie adventures
