HII okay so i just wanted to say regarding red still being in the cave for the minecraft arc right now !!

i knowwww it seems kind of slow right now (beforehand i was just getting through asks slowly & also letting you guys have fun with interacting with red) annnd it might be kind of slow for a littleee bit longer

but there is good reason !!!

although this is a heavy IF I CAN so do not have high expectations !!! but for a certain story progression™ part without spoiling it, i want to try animating it, or at the very least make it an "animatic"-ish thing ?? its not gonna be long literally just a few seconds probably, & i already have it storyboarded so ill TRY to do it, but i am still really new to animation so once again dont have super high expectations but ill try to make it cool !!!!

worse case scenario if i cant animate it, ill just draw the stuff i have storyboarded and just render it and maybe make it similar to this post aka just putting the photos in video format so its still a slightly cool thing !!

BUT POINT IS itll take me a bit, i wanna guesstimate and say either tomorrow or monday i might be able to have it done because its not too long, but this also means story-wise red is still gonna be in that cave until then, so you guys can go wild with asks and silly stuff and ill still answer them in between this !!

so basically have fun babysitting red and doing whatever and giving them whatever while i work on making story stuff !! >:3

originally i was gonna get to certain story progression point™ yesterday, but then i didnt get to all the asks, so i was gonna get it done today, until halfway through the day i was like "hmm what if i animate this instead ??" and here we are LMAO i hope this isnt an issue :,D

and ill still answer with drawings !!! i have 2 files of red in the cave far away & close up and its easier for me so the background and all is the same and less work because theres no point for me to redraw the same thing 50 times (i say that although i do that when animating LMAO) so itll literally take me like 30 mins max to answer each ask because all id have to draw is arms or face or objects ect ect you get the point !!

and theres someee asks (aka the only ones i have left </3) that arent certain story progression point™ but it builds up or alludes to it so i didnt wanna answer those and not be able to post until i finish POTENTIALLY animating this, because it wouldnt make sense to fit silly stuff between that ect ect ect its just my own silly organization

ALSO the asks dont even have to be silly literally they can be serious or anything, i just wont answer any yet that i might use to build up to something, but like uhh ask red the meaning of life or about his friends or give him $500 or ask to look around the cave but you get the point !!

i love this improv stuff anyways so its free range!! only limit obviously is just stuff already not allowed in the pinned post, anything TOO OP (nothing personal though :'D) or anything ill save to use for certain story progression point™ you get the idea at this point

okay i wanna talk about fourlear now that ive named it. i dont think i have...maybe briefly

fourlear is the name of the biggest holiday on overmorrow. i explained alot of this in the solaria explaining post that im making but i think ill just remove that all and link this post in that..anyway

lots of text below so im putting it under a cut!!!

it starts on june 18, meant to end on the longest day of the year, june 21! this means that the second day of fourlear is on my birthday :3 this was completely unintentional and im still really happy about how that turned out lol

i dont feel like explaining the 4 angel dragons things for the thousandth time, theyll get a more in depth explanation in the solaria post, anyway, each day is dedicated to one of the dragons

all of fourlear is dedicated to being together, throughout all the days. sometimes most of the town or something comes together and people will camp to celebrate all four days together, but sometimes its just family at home. though on the last day is the day most people come out together to where their town is celebrating fourlear, usually in an open big field where people can settle down and camp for the first 3 days

i dont think i ever wrote dwon which day was on what, so im just gonna make it up here/try to remember the best i can lmao just to be clear im imagining all these activities they do on each day is in the place where people gather, like the field i mentioned!! but some things are also celebrated at home with family as well. i already said that too but thats okay. LOL

the first day is dedicated to art/creativity, which i remember being a bit stuck on. theres probbly really great ideas for this right under my nose that im not thinking of.. of course theres lots of..art making and sharing lol. aaalll forms of art

the second day i think was nature, which of course was dedicated to caring for their earth and sharing lots of food, i imagine people will set up temporary little shops where people gather most and people will sell plants and stuff too. obviously overmorrow isnt comleteply free from pollution, so this day focuses on that alot too. i think overmorrow's pollution is pretty under control though!!

the third day is dedicated to love, where people give gifts to their loved ones like christmas, and just spend time together, or meet new people if theyre not at home and camping for fourlear

the fourth day is dedicated to magic, and right where mainly everythign takes place where everyone was gathered up for the first 3 days. where everyone basically just comes together, celebrating their pure angel/the dragons, how much they love their planet and their loved ones. theres alot more to show off here, where the other days were more chill and stuff if that makes sense? lots of big eventful shows and music and stuff to look at and things. and alot of magic spell shows ofc lol, theres also fireworks at night and people stay up all throughout the night on the fourth day partying and making friends and eating and loving eachother

i always imagined, you can probabaly gues, that fourlear is HUGE to all of overmorrow. its celebrated worldwide, and i imagine its like christmas where people dont stop talking about it the moment its comiing up lmao "WHY ARE YOU PLAYING FOURLEAR MUSIC NOW?!?!?! ITS STILL MAY!!" i have no idea what fourlear music would sound like but i like this thought alot

i havent reallyl thoght of hhow people decorate for it and stuff. i imagine theres a lot of green/pink/blue/purple/white like the overmorrow flag in it

i think i need to flesh it out a bit more, especially on what activities people get up to in each day, but thats the basic idea haha i really want to draw my ocs celebrating fourlear someday. i might try to do that soon?yeeeeees. it owuld make more sense to draw fourlear art DURING fourlear but im too impatient for that..maybe..

Okay but in all seriousness the way you use color just shifts something in my brain whenever I see it, ESPECIALLY when you choose vibrant colors for the entire piece or only add one vibrant color because just AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH the way I'm SOBBING every time because it's so damn good

Also when you opt for more pastel colors????? It's been a while but back during ✨️our Kirby days✨️ you posted an art piece of Meta Knight sitting in the moonlight and just. The lines, the moon popping out thanks to the limited color pallet, the pastels, the way you made him So Fucking Shaped. It's literally the first thing that comes to my mind whenever I think of Meta. It's just such a stunning artwork like hhhhnnnnggggggGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH IT'S SO GOOD YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I LOVE IT

im rlly proud of that meta knight ur talking about.. it was originally a physical sketch but i liked it sm i turned it digital and then i got silly with the colors

ive always been proud of my colors, but in the past (like idk 7 years ago) i had a weird limited approach to things. i figured out the trick of like,, taking something whose base color is pink and shading with purple. and then that was all i would do, because it pretty consistently made stuff that was pleasing to look at

and i developed a bit on that sorta style for years until my spamton era happened. i started using mspaint a TON and it radically changed my approach to coloring. having to both go into a seperate menu to select colors AND having the black/white slider be required to color pick Made it so that i had to experiment a lot more. mess around, maybe try a lower saturation. and after a while i started getting obsessed with grey tones.

my old old art was all super colorful, but in a sorta predictable way. its nice but didnt leave much of an impression

but in like my current era i use a lot of toned down colors. desaturated, greyish in betweens, playing with warm greys v cool greys, actually appreciating complementary colors

butyeah thats all to say. uh. i like colors a lot and i think about them alot

there r always new ways to approach coloring something and u can make some crazy stuff

ill admit that i feel like alot of my doodles n stuff look a little samey atm. u can tell what colors i default to when im feelin lazy lmao (cream, teal, green, warm pink, etc. all desaturated of course) but then again i havent been drawing much lately, the sample size isnt super big

i wanna make more shit i just never have the ideas or motivation.. i jsut end up doodling fish furries lol

wait so like, I saw this cute oc on twitter and I asked op if I could draw her, and they said they would be honored. So like, it took me a while but I eventurally drew her, and sent it as a reply to the comment they said they would be honored. SO, it’s been an entire day and they still havent replied, which isnt alot, obviously, but seeing them tweeting all the time made me think they might of have not seen my drawing, maybe because they muted the tweet or I accidentally replied TO MY SELF and not them (so they cant see the notification). Tho probably they just dont feel like answering rn, which is no problem, but fuck im so anxious. So like, I spent the entire day asking myself if I should send it to them via DM, scared that they HAD SEEN IT and less than 7 hours later I send the drawing again (and they get weirded out). So I wait the entire day till I cant no more, because I made the drawing with so much love tHEY HAVE TO SEE IT YK??? Anyways, in the end I cant DM them, lmao. But literally, they dont let other people simply DM them. Also, I just cant send it to them as a random reply to a new tweet, its too begging for attention. Litterally havent posted anything here in almost a year lmao my art is fucking awesome, you just havent seen anything new and everything isnt my "masterpiece", its made specifically so i could make alot of it. First 2 are my ocs and last one has muffet. All of these draw on anime bases off google and colored on ms paint. This isnt even the oldest ms paint art, i have hetalia(i dont support hetalia anymore, i was young and dumb) stuff even older.

One manga coloring w/stock photo background, one of my own oc with no tracing or even a reference w/stock photo bg and last one is kacchako w/o any tracing or body references with a bg and clothing i created myself.

Id say for there being a max 7 years and minimum 5 years, thats a fuck ton of improvement, not counting my 2 billion big binders of art made on lined paper. Im very proud of my art because its the strongest thing about me. No amount of wah wah unrequested judgement of it will ever sway me from enjoying my art and how it looks. relationship guidelines - this one is a manhwa about these 2 girls who have been friends since they were born !!! myeong in is aloof and rarely shows her emotions and is 'cold hearted' and ji won is cute and quirky and super flirty and overall a dumbass 101, somehow they find themselves kissing eachother and their relationship becomes ........ something they cant seem to understand themselves jsdhdkjh, i rly love this manhwa its so funny and so pretty and the characters r so fun and relatable its so lovely !!!! the pacing is so good too

not so shoujo love story - fellas this one . this one is SO good omfg its the funniest webtoon ever like the humour is just complete crack kldhkjh, its abt a 'delinquent' girl called rei who is in love w her senior (called ...ochinchin ... because... he has a massive chin..) and she rly rly wants ur typical shoujo style romance, only, plot twist the one whos in love w her isnt the cool popular senpai guy (who might be ??an alien??) but the perfect pretty vice president hanna !!!! its SO so cute also super slowburn and SO wholesome , also theres so much tension between hanna and rei i dshjsdhfh, the art style is GORGEOUS and the writing is amazing and i just . its a masterpiece pls read it, altho its hilarious its also ... so gentle and so loving i :')

she is still cute today - a slice of life abt wholesome puppy qi lin who is kinda an outcast and how she befriends a girl called cang shu, someone who prioritises her grades over everything else, to the point she barely has a life. its a story abt how they positively influence eachothers lives for the better and heal with eachother through their simple everyday school life(also mega mega mega slowburn, theyre friends rn but also ... gfs somehow lol)  :) its v funny ad cute and pretty also theres a bonus mlm side couple that r rly funny lol, they have a rly gay friendship group and its SO cute and wholesome 

tamen de gushi - i havent caught up w this in ages rip sdhjdsh but its just a cute slice of life abt 2 girls who befriend eachother and one of them has a HUGEEEEEE crush on the other, v v v v wholesome !!!!

still sick! - oh my god . this one is a masterpiece..... its a manga that revolves around shimizu, this super dorky girl that has a secret hobby of drawing doujinshi of her fave wlw ships lmao, and her work place colleague, maekawa, finds out about her secret hobby and barges into her everyday life and changes it in a way that she'll never expect ! from the synopsis it sounds p average but god the LAYERS this manga has . it deals w burn outs and love for drawings and has such wonderful characterisation and writing and the characters r so vibrant and fun and !!!!! the romance !!!!! they r so so so cute like i genuinely got butterflies at this kssdhkjdsh

soulmate - this manhua is so unique !! so its abt this girl who switches body w her teenage self, so she gets to experience falling in love with her lover all over again whilst her teenage self finds herself, 27 years old, and dating a girl ????!!! it deals with regret and first love and loneliness and dreams and just . i was v cautious abt this one because it could get weird but it was so beautiful and respectful and so .. melancholy and yet cute and joyful... the art is also so pretty !!!

bloom into you - this one’s an anime and its about a girl called yuu who believes she isn’t capable of falling in love even though she always longed to have that feeling, and then she meets her senpai, touko. somehow they get into a relationship where they brush hands and kiss secretly in the student council room after school and know all of eachothers secrets, touko tells her not to fall in love with her and yet yuu... doesn’t even understand her own feelings. ok as for vibes, its just TENDER tender TE n d er and . sad and it will make u so touch starved oh my god. its a very beautiful story and the soundtrack, colours and general vibe of the story is so nice and the characters r so freaking well written u will melt, i rly rly love this anime alot lmao its one of the very few romance anime i really adore, it doesn’t feel cringey at all and all the characters feel so painfully real ? its so good !!!!!!!!!!

that time I was blackmailed by the class’ green tea bitch - ok ok ik the title sounds wack but this is actually one of my faves rn, it’s just the softest cutest high school love story and it’s the perfect amount of funny and adorable and the art is also super cute and the relationship with the mc and her mum is so cute I’m 🥺 also it goes into other topics like academic pressure and loneliness (not too deeply tho) and it’s just a v good read … as of now it’s ongoing and has 17 chapters :)

you can clearly see im still getting the hang of drawing them 😭 but theres kind of like a dip???? i try my hardest to put that in my drawings of them but Oh lord its hard. so ignore every time i havent done that okay..... the mouth also goes further past their eyes and teh eyes r very close to the end of the head which is what threw me off for so long. WHY are their heads so weird omg

um. htats probably terrible of a description bc thats very easy to just see with your own eyes.. i just kind of guess everytime i draw the mouths ????!??
