as of right now, i am enthralled with lego monkie kid. Chinese culture in general is so cool. I love the myths about chinese dragons, the different depictions of them, the lion dances, and of course the journey to the west! Ive been meaning to read it for a while, but id like to finish the current season of LMK before i get to do that.

i also do adore creepypastas. I have an idea of my own to write but i have yet to do so.

I was also fairly into Demon slayer when the manga first finished! I havent been into it recently though unfortunately. Animes don’t interest me as much as mangas nowadays. 😭

im currently working in analyzing lolita by vladimir nobokov, and im reading a manga called “I Have a Second Chance at Life, so I’ll Pamper My Yandere Boyfriend for a Happy Ending” and surprisingly its pretty interesting. But that might just be because it has a yandere LMAO.

First off Mike starts small, he gets you things you're going to use without a second thought.

Cute pens -he steals yours so you use what he gives you-, hair ties -if you have long hair and need it to be tied up-, juice box when you're on break, your favorite chips, cigs? -if you smoke-

Stuff you can shake off as just being friendly or Mike having a good memory to remember what you like.

Then it gets bigger, he's getting you roses once a week, they even have nice messages on them. Cute compliments. Touches that make you flutter.

"You're so pretty [Y/N]... The sight of you just brightens up my day, you know?"

Maybe the romance clouded your eyes and gave you rose-tinted glasses vision so you accepted when he asked you out on a date.

You're gonna get so many compliments while you're in a relationship.

You feel loved and appreciated, especially with Michael around making sure you get whatever you deserve -in his opinion, everything-

He won't let you pay, keeps the door open, always gives you his jacket when you're cold, etc, etc.

After a few weeks the fever finally wears off and you wonder why he's saying love you so early on in a relationship.

Isn't that a red flag? Isn't this called love bombing?

The more you pulled away the more Michael did to try and impress you. You even had a talk with him about it.

"You don't like it dear? Why not? I'm doing my best to love you..."

You chucked it up to that being Michael's way to show that he loves you but you're getting weirded out by how he knows stuff you haven't even told him.

"How do I know you had a pet as a kid? Babe, you told me, remember?"

Yeah, it's just you, you just need to accept his affection right?

Maybe it's kind of hard when your boundaries are being pushed and now you feel indebted and guilty to see Michael do all this for you.

And he won't let you do anything back to balance the relationship.

"Are you done considering moving in with me? Why don't you just do it? Don't you love me...?"
