Little/Irving + melody (i'm not too into pairings with little but i do like irving and like you said, there's a lot of unexplored pairings that could be dope)

(little/irving is honestly like one of the only little pairings i like so if you had suggested anything else with him i probably would’ve said no XD)

He somehow never noticed the humming as it happened, and when he did it took him a moment to realize where it was coming from. Irving was usually so quiet when they worked together, so focused on his task.

It was soft, hardly audible above the ships constant creaking and groaning. He realized that was deliberately so.

Little leaned forward on the table and shut his eyes. A gentle hymn in a harsh place. He’d expect nothing else of Irving. Soothing, calming.

For the first time in days, Little smiled.
