I think I'll be troubleshooting the sims 3 for the rest of my life
#i have a 4k monitor so i usually play on a nonnative resolution and every couple weeks the game will just.#decide to stop opening on any resolution that isnt 4k#i dont mind playing on lower resolutions! it just crashes every single time i change it from 4k to any other option#im trying to use the tiny ui mod right now to see if that will help and its working very well#it does make my cas lighting kind of....darker? idk its weird the game looks normal but the ui is slightly darker#and less saturated almost#im willing to adapt to it just to make this stupid game work but idk#oh but i do have a lighting mod installed. hmmm#ive never actually played with that so maybe the ui just Looks Like That and SEEMS less saturated#bc of my lighting mod#anyway. i love this game so much#i wake up every day excited to play it again and then spend three days troubleshooting just for a few hours of play time#i love it though
