While watching Sailor Moon with my daughter (we are deep into the 5th season of the 90s Italian version), I am remembering more and more why I shipped Usagi with Seiya.

I never particularly loved Mamoru, to be honest, mostly because in the anime he was kind of a inconstant dick to Usagi and, despite the whole "reincarnation/destined to be together" thing they had going on because of the connection between Silver Millenium and Golden Kingdom (which is absolutely one of my favourite trope ever), I failed to appreciate the romance they had.

I very much preferred Seiya with her, instead, because he seemed to make her happy and to make her laugh more (plus, lemme be honest, I also had a huge crush on Seiya and Haruka when I was a child, so that could also be why I was SO ON BOARD when both of them were flirting with Usagi. Like, YES GIRL, GET IT).

Like, the whole dynamic of "Two idiots that are just so good together it's a sin they are not" was everything to me.

It was fun to see them together, and dear gods, I remember wanting to see Usagi happy finally, fml.

How do u think Claude Sebastian and Will would react to having a so with a lot of tattoos and piercings

FINALLY SOMEONE ASKED THIS QUESTION! You have no idea how long was I waiting for anyone to give me a chance to answer that, that’s why I want to thank you very much, Anon, for your inquiry.

As a person, who is both tattooed and pierced, I’ll still keep my answer as honest as possible and I’ll do my best to portray what those two could really think of this topic, no matter my personal opinion on it. And it comes out better as headcanons than long paragraphs of my own babbling, so here we go.

Sebastian:

Obviously, he will notice your tattoos and piercing as almost the first thing about you, right after your soul, that is, because the latter comes for him quite naturally. Undoubtedly, he will realize that this kind of body modifications isn’t what every single person in your surrounding does and so he will immediately consider it as something uncommon and rare, odd even - he may not really understand why would you do that to yourself since it isn’t an essential part of your culture which could force you to act accordingly.

He won’t easily get rid of the feeling that it’s completely unnecessary; your body is beautiful the way it is so why cause yourself pain only to change it this way? Did you like physical pain? Is it just your whim? You’ll have to explain a lot to him but you can be sure that he will be surprisingly attentive and willing to hear your opinion out of sheer fascination. He may not get the concept at first but he is more than happy to learn more about you, even if he won’t completely approve your decisions. You can safely assume that he will be kind of a dork about the whole subject so try to not get angry at him after asking too many questions, he is just curious.

He will never use the ‘it will stay forever!’ argument on you, like seriously, never. He probably won’t even think of it this way, preferably because he doesn’t consider human’s lifetime as something eternal, so he won’t see the point in telling you anything of this sort. Other than that, he won’t feel the necessity of scolding you for something you already did and which is not easily reversible.

After finding out your motives, he can realize that this is somehow a weird but interesting idea for him. He may complain a little bit, wishing to see your natural self, but he won’t brag you about it and when he will see that you don’t plan on changing your mind about those body decorations, he will stop and gradually will become more and more fond of it. He will be fascinated both by any eventual meaning hidden behind your tattoos and the lack of it, wondering about your choice of style, and will consider it as some kind of art, just like poetry - for some it can be terrifying, for some gorgeous and moving, for some sad and for some simply incomprehensible but it doesn’t mean that it’s bad in any way. That’s all the matter of opinions and he will see it this way, as another part of you, another puzzle which builds you whole and without it, you could be incomplete if your taste was taken from you or if you were forced to not create your image the way you like to. As mentioned before, he will adore it but he will need some time to realize it.

You can always mention his own kind-of-like tattoo on his palm because that’s why he is always wearing gloves, isn’t it? It’s imprinted underneath his skin, isn’t it? He can’t get rid of it, can he? 1:0 for you.

Sebastian is always fond of those who aren’t afraid to state their opinions, fight for their goals and generally be the way they want to be, not caring about the others, and this will be the main reason why later on he will consider your tattoos and piercing as something great, impressive even but it will take him a looot of time. Human’s emotions and motives are hard for him to understand so he may have troubles in actually getting what it means to be this way, to express yourself, to be ready for eventual bullying, mocking stares and opinions - those all he will realize only after being with you for some time and becoming a witness of such situations. Of course, he will always intervene, not letting you get hurt by anyone and so, this will teach him how strong you can be to not only willingly cause yourself pain but also to endure moments like that, all for the sake of being yourself and liking yourself and expressing yourself.

Okay but if you will explain to him how cool it is to have tattoos and piercing, how you can seem badass in other people’s eyes because of that, how some of them may will want to look/touch/admire them, he will totally want to have one and more, too. He’s such an attention whore, he will love the praise he can get after tattooing himself and, let’s be honest, being as devilishly handsome he is, he will receive a lot of praise then to feed his ego.

Claude:

His opinions will be a little bit different compared to Sebastian’s but they won’t affect his feeling for you. He will openly admit his lack of sympathy for your style, probably in some unaware way and not exactly wanting to hurt you, like: “What are those?” or “What did you do to yourself?”. He is just blunt, don’t take it personally.

He won’t urge you to explain anything to him, somehow quietly accepting your style and deciding that since there’s nothing you can do about it anymore, then why waste time and energy on pointing out your mistakes - he will do it once or twice but no more, understanding that no matter what, you are not able to wholly change your appearance. He may want you to take your piercing out, though.

Oooh, but if you have your nipples pierced then no, don’t take those out ever, never, he will be surprised how much he loves it and how much more attention he will pay to your breasts then, how marvelous and adorable they will look so he won’t be able to hold his hands to himself.

Let’s say, after some time, Claude will get used to your unusual look and will demand from you to look properly only on certain occasions but other than that, they won’t bother him anymore. He will even find himself getting unlikely angry for those, who will ever dare to mention your look in any negative way, after hearing such comment always wondering how could they think about you this way. You look stunning, after all and they must be a simple vermins not worth anyone’s attention if they can’t notice such an appealing person in front of them.

To his own surprise and amusement, he will grow absolutely fond of your piercing, admiring how they suit your features, how they only emphasize your beauty and how good they feel when kissed, licked and sucked if the place only allows that. He may see them as a proof of your own endurance for physical pain and it can be somehow turning him on, knowing that you can bear it only to get your own way and have some fun.

He won’t want to have any of that on his own, though, no matter that he can easily change his appearance if he didn’t want them anymore, he will just consider them as more suitable for you. Simliar to Sebastian, you can mention the seal on his hand which can be taken as a tattoo but he will completely deny it, saying that “it’s not the same thing”.

He will quietly start to wonder, in which place would you chose to have the seal bounding you with him, which shape would suit you the most to seem as appealing as possible and if you would ever want to have it. Nevertheless, he won’t ever say it out loud, preferring to keep such thoughts to himself.

If you will get another modification while being with him, he will obviously scold you at first, saying that you have enough already and you don’t need anymore to make yourself look better. It won’t change the fact that he will be really devoted to take care of you, making sure that everything is healing properly and always being ready to help if needed. On the outside, he may say how much of a trouble it is, but the truth is, as long as it’s on your body he will adore it.

No. Just no. He won’t be fond of that, nor find it pretty in any way but it’s not like he will suddenly stop loving you after finding out you have a tattoo or he won’t be able to fall for you if you have some piercing, no. It’s just completely not his taste but he will adore you nevertheless, and won’t let anyone mock you because of that, he’s the only one who can point out your appearance and how inapriopriate it is.

1)SAILOR MARS. Mandatory, since Mars oversee my astrological sign. (It's pretty much the same situation with Saint Seiya and the arc of the 12 Houses. Doesn't matter if your favourite was Ikki, Hyouga or Seiya: when you get to the 12 Houses, it's MANDATORY to cheer for your Saints of your astrological sign). Also she is spunky as hell and pretty much like yours truly, she got one rough relationship with daddy dearest, so DUH, I ADORE HER. lol

2) THE OUTER SENSHIS. All together. What therefore Naoko Takeuchi hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (but seriously. They are my most favourite, I cannot just choose one. Hotaru is my beloved, so is Setsuna, and of course Haruka and Michiru who are my OTP).

3) SEIYA KOU/SAILOR STAR FIGHTER. My precious bebe. my darling goofball. The cinnamonroll of it all. Adorable. (Plus, the Starlights uniform was DOPE as hell) *holds so gently*.PRECIOUS BEBE. PRECIOUS.

4)BLACK LADY Chibiusa is definitely NOT character that I loved, as a child, and I never appreciated how she was characterized tbh (especially not with all the weird shit with Mamoru, please, dear gods no). But Black Lady, being all evil, with her swag and the character design was EVERYTHING to me. She was such a bitch, but I adored her.

5) QUEEN NEHELLENIA, DEAR GODS, QUEEN NEHELLENIA MY BELOVED. I ADORE HER. SHE IS MY EVERYTHING. (to the point that I paired her up with my own Sailor Artemis and their story was so sad fml I cannot. I just cannot. Imma find my old artworks and share them here lolol. Now i need).

6)HUMAN!LUNA. There was just *something* about her design that made me so happy. Like, I am generally not a big fun of yellow as a colour, but omg Human!Luna was BEAUTIFUL. Her design was seared in my mind for YEARS afterwards.

7) and of course. NEO QUEEN SERENITY HERSELF. Like, forget about Disney Princesses and whatnot. forget about them all. For me, Serenity was THE Princess (first) and then THE Queen. And I am not going to lie how much I coveted her dress. Like, seriously, to me, it's one of the most beautiful design ever created. PLUS, USAGI IS MY SILLY IDIOT CINNAMON ROLL, AND I WILL DEFEND HER FOREVER.
