ok obviously I have some conflicted feelings about getou. I feel like he has a lot of potential to be sexy which I capitalize off of and hes gender hes ugly hes sexy he prolly has terrible breath sometimes I just stare at pics of him for minutes at a time etc etc ok now the real stuff. At first I thought he was stupid and annoying and I thought his villain origin story was kind of ??? (like its hard for me to empathize… still sorting my thoughts on this but I made fun of him a lot) but the getou barbz are very convincing, plus stsg is a gold mine of my fav ship tropes like m*rder and stuff which is why I think he is more appealing to me within stsg/sss as a sort of (stupid) voice of reason. I eat that devastating shit up. I think I project a lot and make up a lot of stuff about him and tbh the more I consider his fall from grace and the fucked up sorcerer world the more I find myself appreciating him .. like his whole mental breakdown sequence was lowkey funny bc it was so #real. as for fanon getou there are some parts I appreciate and some parts I hate… I don’t mind the mild mannered suave fanon getou but like that man is still very deranged which is why I could see myself being truly scared of him fhdjgf also I’m not even gonna get into kenjaku rn. sorry if this doesnt make sense btw I have a hard time gauging other fan opinions sometimes. Its seriously complicated.

well what can I say that hasnt already been said!!! I loveee maki so much I think she’s a beacon of mental strength for teen girls everywhere (despite the atrocities but shes still really valid for them) when I was watching the anime I didn’t think much of her besides her being your everyday girlboss but jjk0 and perfect preparation arc made me realize shes my ideal archetype for female rage, and I don’t mean that in the typical way but more in the family issues and dealing w rejection way. also mai and maki’s bond as sisters and twins breaks my heart and reminds me of how a lot of sister bonds become damaged bc of misogyny and external pressure/criticism 💔 I feel like these storylines are important to see (at least for me) and also makes me appreciate the decentralization of romantic subplots in jjk more (like yeah gege hates his female characters but I think maki is still very well written) that being said nobamaki is the best kind of wlw ship (one sided admiration) but anyways that’s a whole other conversation. yutamaki isn’t my bihet ship of choice but great fanon fodder for sure
