loved the first season of the rings of power!!

all of the actors did such an amazing job at portraying real emotion and connection. the way halbrand's face changed during the reveal? wow. the easy way in which everyone cries without holding back.

there are so many things to be upset, pissed or straight up confused about but honestly i watched it as a completely detached thing so i can actually have fun with it

a lot of changes! and canon that got screwed! but i liked the changes they made! it fit the on-screen characters. absolutely adored the gandalf/hobbit storyline, i cried every time i thought about the fact that nori is the reason he loves hobbits so much

extremely obsessed with elrond, durin and disa's friendship. i can't wait to see if durin will mine mithril for elrond and the rings or if he'll do it for greed like it was told.

isildur obviously lived (not so much celeborn lmao?) but im curious to see how he managed to get out of the burning hellscape with his horse. maybe he'll meet gandalf and nori?

i actually got chills when the rings were being forged, somehow it really clicked then just how old everyone is. galadriel and elrond were there! like DAMN y'all old
