Tumblr media Tumblr media
Text form:
Basic information:
Name: William Boltspin
Age: 36
Occupation: Psychologist
Height: 5’11
Habits: over analysing people’s small gestures, thinking out loud, tripping on nothing when nervous, fidgeting, freezing when in put into a tight spot
Hobbies: Reading, watching stuff go down
Introduction:
Will is introduced as a new person in town. He recently moved in, and since nobody was willing to show him around, Orel did. But in a typical Moral Orel episode, something happens. In the good will of Orel, he shared a little too much. This kind of scared Will out, but he still stayed in the town. Mostly because he was fascinated by how the town was old-school. At first, he got along with the townspeople, but they soon realised they had different principles and ideals.
Seeing how he wasn't really attending the daily sermons, Orel took it upon himself to invite him to church. Will isn't really the type to go to church daily, but seeing how everyone was going and how eager Orel was to get him to attend the sermons, he started attending daily too. After an episode focusing on his move, he became a typical side character, only showing up on screen for a few scenes or just in the background.
Show appearances:
During season 1, aside from his little worries and complaints about the children in town having too much freedom, Will is seen acting fairly normal. He's been seen in church, walking to the doctor’s office, etc. Most of his appearance is just him passing by; sometimes he gives out advice that is a bit too vague.
In season 2, his concerns grow, and he starts to disagree with some of the other characters. He doesn’t get along with Reverend Putty much, but he does tolerate him. Will offers to babysit some of the children, mostly doughy or shapey. It’s mostly because he sees signs of neglect. Unfortunately, he does have work of his own, so he isn’t always there for them.
Upon learning about his profession, some started to doubt his faith. He still attends church even with people talking about him, and his only reason is because of Orel. Will does try to correct the behaviour of some people, but when he gets a bad response (which happens every time), he takes it back. Sometimes, mostly by accident, he does the same thing he criticises people for. Telling people not to yell in front of children or to not show any bad behaviour they can pick up.
He still bonds and gives some proper advice to Orel, but makes sure to keep him at arm's length. He’s afraid of being dragged into the things Orel does. But in an episode, he finally had the courage to join Orel. He follows him around and secretly does things so they avoid trouble. But of course, trouble does happen. Before Orel was taken to Clay’s study room, they made eye contact. Will felt responsible since he was an adult and he was around Orel the whole time. Even though he felt immense guilt, he was still too afraid to intervene. He mouthed the words “I’m sorry, Orel.” In the end, he became a bystander. Something he wished he never would be.
Season 3 is where Will’s mental health starts to deteriorate. He feels guilty for being so hypocritical. Feeling responsible for kids he isn’t even related to has taken a toll on him. Other adults also started to vent out their problems to him at the bar, hoping for some advice from Will.
His last scene is Orel finding him sitting at an alley next to Forghetty’s Bar. Will was drunk and cried to Orel about everything he hated, even calling Clay a bastard right in front of him. After that furious rant he calmed down and started muttering about how he “didn’t want to be like this” and that he’s sorry for being such a horrible person, a bystander, a hypocrite, a coward, a person he can’t rely on. He picks up his glasses and apologises before realising who he was dumping all his problems to. It was Orel. A child. He remembers his promise to himself, never burden a child with your problems. Not even as an accident. Not knowing what to do, he just froze and cried.
After that scene, Will would be seen avoiding children. He’s seen more often in the bar, mostly in the background or puking at the corner.
Upbringing:
As a kid, Will would be told to turn a blind eye to things that were not his business. Around his teenage years, he would witness a violent crime, but instead of helping, he just pretended he didn’t see anything and walked away. The person would later be found dead. Will couldn’t take it; he felt extreme guilt, blaming himself for not saving them or even just calling the police.
His mother also had violent outbursts, venting her problems to her son. He felt responsible for her, so he just took everything. Beatings, berating, everything. Will basically took care of her. His mother was a very judgmental woman, whispering to him about people around his neighbourhood. Will gaslights himself to think that it’s just his mother’s way of showing concern and affection. When he finished college, his mother passed away. He never actually bothered to find his father because his mother told him, “It’s not worth finding that bastard of a man." Will just followed what his mother said. But in the end, his own mother’s last words were, “I fucking hate that face of yours. You’re a spitting image of that fucking bastard.”
He already knew his mother actually hated him. He just denied it. But hearing it straight from her just made him lose it. Will swore to never treat a child like his mother did to him.

#3 beginning of an end
life is a matter of perspective.
I was 16, my life was falling apart in a non teenage drama way. I was graduating high school, and life should be a full speed ahead with possibilities. It was a silent dream to study where my mom graduated college. UE, University of the East, that’s what I’m aiming for. BSED major in History, AB History those are my dream courses. To be far away from home, that’s the goal. To have something else than this little hometown. To be somewhere more than what I used to know. The idea of getting away gives me a sense of euphoria. Maybe if I’m away, I can be seen and heard because ever since then I knew I am better off loving people in a safe distance.
But life’s what you make it, not what it makes you. You can wake up one day and watch how a drive downtown can be your first real shock of how “everything is just okay last night”. Then everything that used to matter started slipping out of your grasped. In just a snapped, a whole new world opened, one whose welcoming your agony. Filing for college registrations turned into filing for SSS benefits, PCSO donations. Countless of sleepless nights studying turned into anxious battles. Running away from home turned into coming home lonelier each night. No one knew what we are going through cause I have no idea how to voice it out. So I kept silent. The loud cheers and painted smiles got me through. I had my own battle to conquer, I’m trying to redeem myself. I worked harder than my three years combined just to get to the top. The moment I made it, I had been slammed by how much little I’ve fought for, that there’s more coming. A lot of things matter, but at that moment, she’s the only one I continously beg God to matter the most.
“Take half of my life and give it to her, and I promise to do everything I can with my remaining half to make sure she knew and felt how much I love her.” Everyday, every night, every prayer, always these same words.
7 months were all it took when she breathed her last breath. 3 times I bid good bye, 3 times I felt myself dying in pain. Around 7PM of Oct 29th, 2013 we fully lost her. At the start of that year, I was sure, I’ll be good, that it is gonna be good. I am starting to build the foundation of my future, the vision of who and what I wanted to become. It was for grasped, it was right there waving. The dream school, the faraway fantasy, the dream course, the ticket waiting. All I wanted was to succeed, but after everything, wanting starts to fade and the need starts to profess. I need her to survive. I only need her to get through. But she didn’t, and that was the greatest loss that change the course of my life forever. We lost and for awhile, I didn’t know if winning after will meant anything anymore.
I lost my sense of time. I never became early with anything in my life after that. I’m always trying to beat the clock. I count minutes, I calculate time and not move until the final second drops. I never got bitter that I lost her, but life became a living hell after. I can never understood why it had to happen that early. Why is she not allowed to beat the clock? I hate being early, because now, I have to wait a lifetime to be with her again.
I got into a college with a course I never fully liked, in a place where I wanted to run off my whole life. I stayed in a hometown where all the hospitals remind me of her, surrounded by people that were once part of her life, where streets and alleyways relives yesterday’s memories. I stayed and watched how everyone manage to break the glass and continue with their life. While me, I had no idea how to brush off grief and pick myself up. She died and I feel like I did too. So there I was, pretending that life was coursing through me, when the truth was, the concept of future stops for me.
A conference. An exposition. A prayer in tongues. It was my first encounter with the Lord through the gift of tongues that opened other gifts for me. The gift of perception, seeing things through His eyes. After that prayer, the world didn’t change, but I did. My agony didn’t change, but a part of me understood. That was the first time I saw grief as love. More importantly, that was the moment I knew that life is a gift - unmeritted, unfavored, undeserved but still given.
“Thank you for the 7 months.” those were the words that ended my prayer. Going home after that conference, I kept on asking myself, when did something so broken became so beautiful? When did agony turned into something graceful? When did my pain became so purposeful? Where did all these beauty extracted from? Cause I was sure, it wasn’t from me. It was from Him. He showed me that a flower surviving from a desert isn’t just a flower thriving greatly, it is a miracle. It shouldn’t be existing, but it did. 7 months with her is a miracle, but what He made me realize through that prayer, is everday I’m choosing to live after she died is a miracle too. It was that conversation with the Lord that changes what matters after.
Life after ~ became a promise to honor her memory. It became a personal mission to honor beauty in all things, and if possible be a glimpse of His beauty in a world that forgets. Life is a matter of perspective. We could either run from the pain or get to know why it’s there. I’ll bet my life, the reason behind it, is because it matters so much. It took me quite some time to embrace the fact that I will always mourn for a life I can never have anymore. It is with a change heart I started to believe that life can still be more, that it can still be full. Dreams can change, convictions can sharpen, beliefs can ignite, more importantly life can still run its course even if you stumble many times. A kid in you, or a once you failed to reach its goal but it doesn’t mean the you today doesn’t have a chance.
Life is a matter of perspective doesn’t mean turning the bad things into something meaningful, it’s not about finding the inspiration in the most uneventful part of life, it’s not really about looking at things with a silver lining. For me what I learned from it is knowing that whether it is good or bad that comes my way, it will never lessen the love I had felt from above. Good things don’t happen to people because their good, bad things don’t happen because people are bad. Life happens. Living takes a toll, it takes a baggage. In all life’s glory, all you can do is just give the best of your ability, your heart and your strength to your chosen cause and purpose. Whatever life throws back at you, you can be at peace with the thought that you have done all that you can to honor the life you have been given.
In my brokenness, I started to see my scars as an opening for light to come through. The wounds are healed, yet the scars remain. It is a reminder of the hell I went through yet also a reminder of how much heaven had fought for me.
For me, what makes Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” affirming is before Apostle Paul said these powerful words, he first said, “I know what is to be in need, and what it is to have plenty. Whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want… I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. I am never deserving of anything, yet I am still given a life to live. I matter. In the vastness of this world, looking up into the horizon, whether I have nothing today and everything yesterday, I am grateful to experience and feel all of this ruin and wonder. It gives me strength to face life head strong for He had breathed a new heart and purpose within me. I have found myself being sure of who I am. A strength that doesn’t come from my own, but of a love that came down and made every little thing in this world matter.
If all door closes, the windows are still open. You might shrink or bent or be in pieces to fit, but in the end, the other side of it had always been life changing.

Introductions
No one has ever asked me, but I feel kind of bad that I haven't done this before. I've been here for almost a year and haven't introduced myself. It's not very decent of me.
Since when do you care how decent you look?
Well… I need to do it every once in a while to at least pretend to be a normal person (I hate pink, but have no choice… Yoichi - orange)
You missed this chance a long time ago…
(damn it, he's right, but I'll continue trying)
So… My name is Irina. Actually, I really like my name. It is of Greek origin and means peace, tranquility. And this doesn't mean I am a calm person (which is true, but not quite), it means that I can and love create a fun and peaceful atmosphere around myself.
You still have a long way to go to reach my level...
That is... true...
English is not my first language, which is pretty obvious. I never learn it with teachers, I've picked up something here and there, so my writing style is probably sounds very strange for native speakers. I'm sorry about that. But I don't use English on daily basis, I don't need it for work or for my personal life. And for a person who doesn't really need it, I think I know more than enough. If suddenly (life is extremely unpredictable) I'll find myself in a position where I need to know more, I will learn more. I'm not against studying, moreover, if I don't learn something new, I feel like I'm drowning… You know that feeling, right?
I'm a mathematician by profession, so logic is the basis of my mindset. I get very annoyed if I don't see logic somewhere. And yes, I understand that the fact that I don't see it doesn't mean it's not there… We all think differently, and it's not easy to understand everyone… But I'm trying.
I have been interested in many areas in my life. I (how very immodestly of me) consider myself a Renaissance man. I've always wanted to know a little bit about everything. At various times in my life, I've been interested in programming, philosophy, phsycology, archeology, various kinds of art (that's how I realized that I had no talent at all), photography, writing, foreign languages and culture, azotericism and acculturism, and many more I cannot even remember. Some of them stayed with me for years, and to some I lost interest almost immediately. For example, as a child I was very interested in Spanish (I watched too many soap operas), but it was too long ago, and if I recall a few words, it will be a lot. About 10 years ago, I was obsessed with Ireland (I know Ireland and England have a lot in common, but I was only obsessed with Ireland, have no idea why), and since then I have started practicing English every day. And most recently (2 years ago) I was obsessed with Korea, I even started learning the language, but….. Ikemen games eat up all my time, so it's on pause for now. But I continue to love their cuisine (and eat it on daily basis) and enjoy their music (again, every day).
You forgot about acting
The fact that I love theater doesn't mean I wanted to become an actress
Nonetheless you're pretty good at acting.
I wonder who I learned this from?..
(smiles)
So everything that has ever interested me is reflected in my posts one way or another. They're not just about the characters I like or the lore of the games, they always have something more… from reality.
And the last thing… which I probably should have started with… I, like my beloved boys Yoichi, Keiji and Alfons, don't like sad and depressing things. It doesn't mean that I don't know about them or don't think about them. Life is already too difficult, and I don't see the point in adding more dark colors. That is why I try to find something bright, fun, exciting and share it with you. So don't take my posts too seriously, it's about entertainment and for amusement.
And as you've noticed, I'm pretty crazy. I communicate with the characters all the time. No, they're talking to me… that's even crazier…

HIIIIII SAMMMMMMMMM HONEYYYYY💓💓💓💓💓💓
Sorry for replying so late! Anyways, from our last convo, I totally get about balance being hard, I think I try to be healthy but being very unhealthy and then I just get too worked up on being great at every aspect...that might sound condescending and narcissistic, I get it...but living in the environment I am in, nothing seems good honestly...it feels like everything I am doing is a mistake so i feel I'm only worthy if every aspect of my life is perfect. If its not grades, its health, or mental health, or my weight or face, so I am constantly trying to achieve it all, it is so exhausting being in that pessimistic place...now that i write this, maybe that is where obsession come from, because I'm so eager to escape reality, I will take any new, dopamine inducing part of my life and turn into 'my world', you know?
Also please don't ever stress about posting...tbh you not posting immediately makes me want to read your previous stuff or re-read my favsss, so even in your absence, you have been a delight.
In other news, actually no other news, I have been planning my tbr that I am going to have after exams...I really wanna read a good enemies to lovers like a crisp one but I don't wanna buy one of those corny books where they are enemies for like two chapters and one of them didn't even hate the other, nothing wrong with corny, i just need some action... people recommend the cruel prince and if i buy that it will be my first fantasy book, have you read that? What's your favourite trope besides soulmate because I know dolcezza was made from that 🤧🤧🤧 (imissthemandgarlicbread)
Geez that is long, anywayss hope you have an amazing day and incredible week and all your wishes come trueeee buh byeeeee 💞💘💝💖💗💓💕
-🧸
No I get it, I'm quite the perfectionist too about these kinds of things. If I'm not immediately good at it, I give up completely. I'm sorry you don't feel your environment is helping you thrive! That's extremely disheartening! I know you're studying to go into a medical profession--I obviously don't know a lot about it myself but I've seen a lot on TV and I hear a lot of things--I'm sure it's very common to feel the way you're feeling. I think there is an immense pressure on people in the medical field and I know you've put an immense pressure on yourself as well. I hope you figure out a good balance so you're able to enjoy the parts of learning the field that you've been studying for!
That sounds like a great book! I've never read it--had to Google it! I'm not really a fantasy kind of gal. I get a little overwhelmed with new worlds and phrases and I think if I got a good book and a got into it I would surely like it, just hasn't been the kind of thing I would pick up myself these days. The only enemies to lovers book I read recently was about Christmas and now I don’t even remember the name of it lol but it probably wasn’t real enemies like you were saying. On that same thread regarding a good enemies to lovers: I feel like you just described Zipper 😉 they were like enemies* but not really hehehehe
My favorite trope, oh Lord. I really don't know! Definitely a soulmate girly as you pointed out (I miss my garlic bread couple too). There's so many. Let me Google.
Probs these ones HAHAHAHAHA only one bingo, though so I’m not too dramatic I guess. But let me tell you how fast I fold for a “who did this you” or “hates everyone but you”
Tumblr media
I'm just a sucker for any basic rom-com structure.
Don’t ever say sorry for the long messages. I love it!
Hope you have a magical weekend! 💕

Explicit Pt. 4
Tumblr media
Summary: You and Jack become official
Content Warning: 17+ Sexual Themes and Topics. Eventual Smut
A/N: Enjoyed writing this part, and can’t wait for your guys to read it. Pretty sure part 5 will be the last so brace yourselves.
“Being a cam girl.” You stood in shock, eyes wide.
“What..? I don’t know-“ Jack snickered.
“You don’t have to lie to me, pretty girl.” You shook your head trying to think straight.
“How’d you find out??”
“It’s a funny story actually, my best friend showed me one of your streams. Then I happened to run into you days later.” Jack studied your body language. You seemed to have a shameful expression on your face. He stepped away from his car and walked towards you.
“It’s not something to be ashamed of.”
“I’m not ashamed, just a little embarrassed. That probably just ruined the chances of this going anywhere.” Jack’s eyebrows lifted in confusion.
“Who said that?” You looked up at him.
“It doesn’t bother you?” Out of all outcomes you imagined this was not one of them.
“Who am I to judge someone’s job? Besides, I’ve been a consumer of your content so it would be hypocritical.” You sighed and Jack reached out to hold your hand.
“Y/N I like you, and this doesn’t change anything. If anything it makes things easier when we get to that point in our relationship.” Your eyes widened and your cheeks flushed.
“Wait, that means you’ve seen-“ Immediately your hands covered your face, making Jack laugh.
“Once again, nothing to be ashamed of.” You looked up to meet his smirk. Your hands reached out to push him.
“Oh my god, I hate you.”
Jack held his chest.
“Damn it’s like that?” You sighed.
“No for real though, if you don’t feel comfortable with me watching I won’t.” Thoughts raced through your head for a couple of seconds.
“Nah I gotta get you to spend money on me somehow.” Jack shook his head as he snickered.
“Baby I’ll gladly spend money on you.” He got closer to your ear making you shift. “But who knows, maybe I’ll get to see it for free one day.”
You walked back into your apartment and then leaned against the closed door.
“That was an awfully long convo for just picking up your chapstick.” You looked up at your friend standing next to the window. You sighed and walked to your kitchen island as she followed.
“So what were ya’ll talking about?“
“Well, he knows about me.” You looked up to meet her shocked gaze.
“Like about your-“ She made a sarcastic pornographic face, making you push her arm.
“Yes about that, Jesus.”
“I take it he reacted well since you’re not crying.”
“Long story short, his friend showed him my profile, he watched me and then we met. But he said he still wants to pursue something with me.” Her eyes squinted and a smile appeared on her face.
“Look at you, all giddy and shit.” You tried to hide your smile.
“I’m not giddy.”
“Mhm.”
For the next couple of months, you and Jack were inseparable but made sure to take things at a natural pace. You were always at his house, and he eventually introduced you to Urban. Making sure to keep your profession on the down-low.
The nice part about Jack is he never pressured you for sex, in fact, he didn’t ask for it at all. (Probably because he was still watching your content) But it wasn’t too long before he asked you to be his girlfriend after multiple short-lived kisses. It was quite romantic and just happened to be a date in the coffee shop where you two first met.
“I knew you brought me here for a reason.” You looked up from your drink and smiled at him.
“It’s special.”
“What makes it so special hm?”
“It’s where I met my girl.” His eyebrows lifted as his eyes connected with yours.
“Your girl?” Obliviously you had to tease him a little. “Not sure I’m following.”
“You’re gonna make me spell it out, pretty girl?” You nodded with a sly smile.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes, obviously. I mean I already claimed you, so it’s about time.”
“Claimed me?” His face was filled with intrigue as he took a sip of his drink.
“Yeah I mean, I’m the one making you cum every night so it seems fitting.” You whispered loud enough for him to hear as he almost choked on his coffee.
That night you finally took Jack back to your apartment and showed him The already familiarly set. The dark red LEDs added to the sexual tension in the room.
He stood in awe watching your delicate frame lay on your bed, draped in your underwear. Your eyes moved from the expression on his face to the obvious tent in his pants.
“God, you look better in person baby.” His hands were itching to touch you.
“All you hoped for?”
“Shit, and more.” You bit your lip and suddenly an idea popped in your head.
“Are you really gonna let me sit here by myself?” You looked down, feeling shy.
His head shook and he immediately began removing his clothes, making you giggle.
His body moved to sit on the bed and you noticed he left his boxers on, you figured because you were still in your underwear.
You moved closer and placed your hand on his exposed thigh. He pushed himself forward, allowing his lips to press against yours. Within seconds the kiss got sloppier and more intense, you moved to straddle him. He let out a low groan against your lips after feeling your weight against his hard-on. Your hips moved against him at a regular pace.
“Wait.”
You looked down at him confused as his arm stretched towards your camera. You smirked, instantly getting more turned on by the idea. Jack laid back against your bed and held the camera on top of his lower abdomen after pressing the record button. The angle allowed a perfect shot of your clothed sex above his hard-on.
You pressed yourself down against him and moved back and forth as the camera captured the action. His free hand moved to hold your thigh and his lip tucked under his teeth. This already was enough to push him over the edge. The wetness of his precum mixed with your slick on top of the fabric. You continued to move against him as your wetness seeped through your underwear and onto his boxers. The wet stain becoming more and more visible on your cloth panties.
You bit your lip, preventing yourself from moaning out Jack’s name. Groans of pleasure could be heard from his side of the camera. The feeling of his shaft against your clit, cause your whimper.
“Mm Fuck I’m gonna cum.”
You pressed yourself harder against him, the head of his dick continuing to rub against your bundle of nerves. Within a few more movements both of you found yourselves climaxing. Jack stopped the recording and heavy breaths filled the room.
“This might be your best vid yet.” He set the camera on your nightstand and you leaned down to kiss him.
That was just the first of many recordings you did together. It became an almost daily thing and Jack practically lived at your apartment. The vids got more and more graphic as time went on. Started with dry humping then turned into full-blown faceless sex tapes. Surprisingly your audience was fine with the added person, some were even ecstatic. And with the addition of Jack came the surplus of fans, your profile and income was at a all time high. You had managed to keep your identity a secret, that was until one night.
You stirred in your sleep while Jack softly caressed your hair and the soft glow of the LEDs lit up your skin. The two of you had just finished making some content and you immediately fell asleep afterwards.
Jack admired you, this was more than he could have ever asked for. The girl of his dreams, beautiful, sexy, and an amazing personality. Being a cam girl was just the icing on top. He wanted to show you off, show the world what a fine catch he managed to bag. So he did. He reached over to your nightstand and grabbed his phone. His arm lifted above the two of you and he snapped a pic of you sleeping. The sheet barely covering your body, and your face clear as day.
“I’ll only leave it up for a minute.” He thought to himself.
His fingers moved to type the caption: “I fuck the girl y’all jerk off to.”
Sleep started to take over Jack and he cuddled up to you.
As the two of you slept, notifications rang from both of your phones. The constant noise caused you to wake up angrily. Jack sat up due to your movement. His tired eyes looked at you briefly before getting up and going towards your bathroom. You rubbed your eyes and read over all your notifications. Messages mixed with social media and phone calls from your best friend. Immediately your expression dropped and your eyes widened.
Tears began to breach through your vision. Jack walked back into the bedroom and stood still, taking in your distressed expression. You turned to look at him the tears now streaming down your face.
“What did you do?”

(Now, when I started playing, I didn’t realize I was inputting first and last name for them, and just went with my artist nickname. Last name Fox fits other family members pretty well, but the name Dirty is kinda silly. In kinda endearing way, it grew on me quickly x} So I kept it
One day, during year 7, Dirty suddenly appeared to have sideburns. Never acknowledged how, when and why, but it’s a weird they grew overnight right after Dirty met dear old dad. Coincidence? Magic? They would never admit…
Dirty is frequently seen wearing the third outfit (img.), and wouldn’t change their style for years, as it’s the most comfortable for them. They would wear something more casual or appropriate on rare occasions, such as attending St.Mungo, where it wouldn’t be fitting to show up all spiky and grunge before patients and disturb their peace. You gotta tone down a little once in a while!
Tumblr media
Despite the punk aesthetics and visuals, Dirty is very laid back and chill, always picking positive or neutral options, and going with the flow to see where it brings them.
They’re sincerely supportive of whatever their friends, or people they meet are into, but they feel uneasy around socially active people like Penny, and they cannot stand prank culture around Hogwarts, whether committing a prank, enduring one, or witnessing. They would never say that explicitly however, and would just avoid people with these traits.
Given the background and adventures HM MC goes through, it caused Dirty to possibly develop a slightly depressive state, and caused the majority of their passive behavior. To handle their mental health, they found working out to be one option with a good therapeutic effect. And got broader shoulders as a bonus ;}
They aren’t particularly interested in sports, but becoming a beater for school period, and befriending Erika Rath did wonders on that as well.
Tumblr media
Having Ebony wand in use and posession, Dirty is using it in combat very well, but chooses not to fight unless it’s necessary. And when it’s necessary, most often than not they use Offence spells and brutal force, tanking through. It doesn’t always land well, as they often forget to defend, or don’t account for opponent to defend, and rely on raw luck.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dirty is a frequent volunteer at Creatures reserve.
Their absolute favorite creature is augurey, and they spend the most time with it at Foggy Moor.
Tumblr media
One particularly gloomy day, when feeding bowtruckles, Dirty named one Last Straw, so they can keep telling themselves there’s at least one little straw keeping them from loosing their patience.
___________
When it comes to dating, Dirty went exclusive with Merula. The relationship has had its ups and downs, and it’s uncertain if it will last. But it’s sincere at the moment, and it’s all that matters.
Too bad they can’t see each other behind Dirty’s wild hair 😶‍️
Tumblr media
Dirty’s favorite subject has got to be Muggle studies. Muggle culture and similarities with their interests fascinate them.
Their favorite Ministry assignments are always the ones with Mad-Eye, however, Dirty doesn’t see future in working in Ministry of Magic.
They’re not particularly fond of Herbology, which is weird considering their future profession (more on that later).
Early Hogwarts years they were thrilled about Potions, but professor Snape’s hateful “character building’’ attitude towards them, and often hanging out with Penny drew them away from liking Potions.
When asked about future, Dirty never gives particular answer, and keeps options open.
With what happened towards the end of year 7, since their long-lost returned father showed up and demanded them to join and lead R, Dirty accepted Peregrine back, but stayed neutral about joining R. It’s clear as day, Ministry does have its portion of corruption. However, there’s more blood on R’s hands, whether it’s from current, or previous members. And since Peregrine doesn’t want to be held accountable, Dirty considered actually joining. Only to have access to disassemble R from the inside. Keep your friends close, but enemies even closer, right?
Will it work out, or not - only future will tell.
Tumblr media
Speaking of future
After graduation, Dirty indulged into studying mushrooms. He worked on creating a new spell - Mycelius. The spell would cause a large chunk of Mushrooms grow from any surface. However, it’s mycelia would damage or even consume a piece of said surface. Very fast, this spell became offensive and dangerous in hands with malicious intent, and been casted onto someone at least twice. That made Dirty create a counter spell, that would reverse effects of Mycellius.
The rest of the time Dirty spent trying to create a potion with the same effect, accidentally inventing numerous new poisons and toxic pesticides, that would become in demand for various uses against pests and insects.
Dirty isn’t very proud of his current inventions in potions sphere, but they do pay the bills, and provide him with more resources and time to continue his work on ultimate mushroom growing serum. He still uses Mycellium every now and then.
And that’s how he ended up doing what he didn’t really like studying at school. The end! For now.

𝐘𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐓𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢
Warning: Hurt/comfort. He finds out you're pregnant after an argument.
***************
You traced the edges of mattress you shared with your fiance tiredly. The alarm clock ticking at your bedside read 3am and he still wasn't home. The harsh words the two of you had thrown at each other had been left stagnant in the apartment after Yamaguchi had grabbed his keys and taken off. Where could he be?
It wasn't like him to just disappear. He usually was the logical one. The one who always remained cool and composed. He never wavered or doubted and he never said things he didn't mean. Which is why the fight today had taken alot out of you. You had been trying to talk to him for weeks but he just started his job at a new electronic company and was constantly working or busy and you just couldn't help it anymore.
"Tadashi I'm talking to you" You said picking up his briefcase from the kitchen counter and placing it on the small table near the door.
"Not now sweetheart I just have to finish loading this program" He ran his fingers along the keys of his laptop not lifting his eyes.
"Yamaguchi right now. it's important." You tried to grab his laptop but he pulled it away with a glare.
"Watch it. You could have shut down my software." He said angrily and you rolled your eyes.
"I wasn't going to. I just needed your attention for five minutes"
"You always need attention" He muttered. You crossed your arms furrowing your eyebrows.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that for the last week you've been nagging , whining and complaining about my work. It's getting annoying"
You took a step back. Hurt "Well I'm sorry Yamaguchi that my presence is such a nuisance to you but if you haven't noticed I've been trying to talk to you for weeks and you've been MIA."
"Well I'm sorry but one of us has to pay for a godamn roof over heads and running water and it's definitely not going to be the waitress in this relationship" You turned around furiously. It wasn't like him to belittle your profession especially because he knew it was temporary until you graduated in a month.
Things had only escalated after that. Both of you taking shots at each other's careers, attitudes and decisions. Tadashi finally had enough and stormed out hours earlier.
You'd known Yamaguchi Tadashi since you were nineteen and he was the regular at the Cafe you worked in. He had been in his final year of university and you were only starting out and he became everything all at once. The things you'd read about. Tall dark and handsome with a brooding aura that hid in large eyes. He was the quiet type never offering more than a small 'please' and 'thank you' so you had taken initiative. Asking him about his day, his studies and his interests.
He asked you out a week before he was supposed to graduate and three years later you were sharing an apartment, engaged and expecting. Although Tadashi wasn't aware of the last part. You'd been trying to tell him for weeks that you had taken four at home pregnancy tests and a trip to the doctor to confirm that you were in fact carrying a little yamaguchi in your womb but he never gave you a even five minutes to gather your thoughts and come out with it.
A familiar pwave of nausea settled in your stomach and you jumped off the bed to make a run for the bathroom. You were sitting cross legged in front of the toilet when you finally heard the door. Attempting to get up was a bad idea because it just made you sick again and so that's how Yamaguchi found you. Puking your guts out.
"Baby? " He said softly leaning against the frame of the bathroom door. He hated whenever you were sick. It made him feel helpless. He hated even more that he had not been there while you were sick. PHe approached you crouching down so he could wrap his arms around you and bring you close. With your back to his chest he pulled your hair back so you could throw up easier. Rubbing your back he whispered apologies in your ear until you finished .
You stood, flushing the toilet and brushing your teeth before you faced a very anxious concerned Tadashi.
"Are you okay?" He asked softly
"Yes" You said glancing at him "Where have you been?"
"I was outside" He mumbled "Sitting in the car. I didn't want to leave because I forgot my phone and I wanted to make sure you were okay. So I just sat outside in the car until I thought you were asleep. If I knew you were sick I would have came in sooner"
"Oh" Not sure what to say you rubbed your arms awkwardly and Tadashi shook his head.
"Don't"
"What?"
"Don't do that that. You rub your arms when you're awkward and you never have to be awkward with me. Ever. I'm sorry for snapping at you this afternoon. I said shit that wasn't true and it was uncalled for. I guess I haven't been myself and I'm sorry for taking it out on you" He pulled you close so he could rub his nose against yours and your eyes filled.
"I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to hurt you" You put your hands on either side of his face your thumbs rubbed his cheekbones and he closed his eyes savoring your touch.
"Are you feeling okay?" He whispered softly his hands rubbing your hips and you shook your head. He visibly paled "Okay grab your stuff"
"What? Why?"
"I'm taking you to the ER Cmon" He tugged you into the bedroom and you laughed pulling his arm.
"Baby I'm okay" You pushed him onto the corner of the bed and he tugged you onto his lap so he could look at you.
"Don't lie to me" He said sadly.
"I promise. I went to the doctor-"
"What do you mean? When? How long have you been sick? Shit why didn't you tell me y/n?" His voice was raising in panic. You stroked his hair soothing him.
"Tadashi" You whispered lightly "I'm pregnant"
You'd never been witness to such utter shock. His eyes widened, his mouth parted and his fingers clenched around your waist. You looked down anxiously.
"I'm only a couple weeks along. I'm sorry I've been trying to tell you but you've just been so preoccupied." He looked down at you stomach and gaped lightly.
"You're pregnant?" His voice was hoarse
"I'm pregnant" You whispered again and he put both hands on your face and brought you close so he could kiss you. Hard. This kiss was needy and passionate and all around consuming and you smiled against his lips.
"Happy?" You whispered pulling away slightly.
"That word is too plain for what I'm feeling. Ecstatic, amazed, in awe. I'm everything. God I could kick myself"
"Why?"
"Because I've been so absent. I could have known earlier if I had just paid enough attention. I'm so fucking sorry baby"
"Shhhhh. Enough of that" You burrowed into his warm chest and he held you tight "I love you"
"I love you. So fucking much" He kissed your head. "And I'm going to love our baby just as much"
"Our baby" You repeated giddily
"Our everything" He confirmed

supermodel | jjk
Tumblr media
the last three months have been hell for you, but Jungkook seemed to be living his best life.
pairing: ex-bf!jk x thick!reader
warnings: explicit mentions of body image and insecurities, infidelity, anal sex, oral (male receive), foul language (kinda), etc.
now playing: supermodel by sza
part two part three
Exactly three months ago, your and Jungkook’s 2 years relationship officially ended. Unofficially, it ended about 5 months ago. And for about one month now, Jungkook’s been seeing someone else.
Your heart and mind told you not to do it but you couldn’t help calculating. Three months ago, you were still dating, two months later, he started dating someone else. That must mean he’s known her for a while. Did he cheat on you with her? Well, it’s not like it matters now anyway, does it?
Her name was Yuki, an undeniable Japanese beauty. You were still in college, studying music and she was a famous model who appeared in internationally known magazines. You assumed she met Jungkook during a photoshoot since he was a professional photographer who often worked for companies like Vogue and Playboy. You couldn’t help but compare yourself to her.
It wasn’t the fact that he moved on so quickly that hurt you the most. It was the fact that he knew all about your low self-esteem and how you lack confidence. Especially about your body. And he still went and dated a model, of all professions in the world. He was definitely over you.
If you didn’t know any better, you’d think he did it on purpose. But thankfully, you knew better, he looked too happy for that to be even considered. He forgot about you.
You’re making yourself sadder by remembering all the times he assured you you were beautiful and your body was nothing to be ashamed of. The times he let his fingertips run over the lines of your stretch marks, whispering in your ear how much he loved them and how they reminded him of Tiger stripes. The times he caressed your jiggly thighs and told you how sexy he thought they were.
Then your mind would drift back to the phone in your hand, the Instagram page of Yuki Sakurai opened, careful not to accidentally like anything and expose yourself. Not that she’d notice anyway, she had 3.7 million followers, while you had a private one with 500 followers and no posts, and she gets around 300 to 700 thousand likes on each post, depending on whether she posts random photos or pretty pictures of herself. Or newly, your ex-boyfriend, Jungkook. Oh, how crazy everybody goes whenever she posts him. People love them together. You couldn’t blame them. Two attractive people? Of course, they’re gonna look great together.
Fucking great.
That the end of your relationship with Jungkook would look like this was semi-predictable from the beginning. He did admit to you that he never thought he’d date someone that looked like you when you first dated. And your heart broke a little. But he also made up for it in those two years, it was a beautiful relationship nonetheless.
While you weren’t exactly his ‘ideal’ type, he was definitely yours. You always heard from other women ‘when in a relationship, the man always has to love the woman more than she loves him. Otherwise, it won’t work.’ You never really got the saying until your breakup with Jungkook happened. It was the fact that you clearly loved Jungkook more than he loved you that lead to this.
“Oh my goodness!”, your roommate, Jane, dramatically exclaimed. “Will you stop feeling bad for yourself and do something? That’s not what hot girls do, sis.”
Jane was a lovely girl with a not so lovely temper. She always means well and you got along perfectly as soon as you met. Which was around 3 and a half years ago.
She looked over your shoulder to see what you were looking at. You obviously didn’t want her to see you snooping around your ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend’s Instagram but it was too late.
“Seriously, yn?”, she took your phone in her hand and threw it on the bed. “Let’s go somewhere, you can’t do this to yourself anymore. I’m not letting you.”
Jane was clearly worried about you at this point. The only thing you did these last few weeks was eating, shower, cry, sleep and miss a whole bunch of classes. This wasn’t good at all.
“Where?”, your question was short.
“To the mall? Or the nail studio? Anything that’ll get you out of this fucking dormitory.”, Jane sighed, pulling the blanket off of you, making you whine a little. “C’mon, go put on some cute outfit and we’ll go.”
You felt bad since she was trying hard to make you feel better. But it didn’t really work.
You nodded, standing up from the bed, nonetheless. You picked out a cute two-piece dress, that brought back blurred memories of the time you went on a date with Jungkook, wearing the same two-piece. Bet Yuki would look cuter in this...
‘Shut your petty ass up, yn. It’s embarrassing, the way you’re stuck on a taken guy who wants nothing to do with you’
You wish you could change the way you think, even if it’s just for an hour or two. You wish you would stop imagining Jungkook judging you when he saw you naked or when you told him that you wished you could cut off some of your fat with a pair of scissors.
You were beyond ashamed of yourself. Why wasn’t it easy for you to just stay by yourself? why were you so desperately in need of Jungkook by your side to the point where you’d lock yourself in your room for a month just because he isn’t there?
You needed Jungkook. You became so attached to him in those two years, because you always saw him as a permanent, a forever. Not just a temporary, not just a distant memory. You already saw him as the father of your children, as the man you’re gonna marry.
You were so blinded by the fact that you had him, that you forgot you could lose him anytime.
“I’m done, let’s go.”, unenthusiastically, you announced to Jane, who was already waiting for you.
“Let’s get the fuck outta here!”, In contrast to your spirit, hers seemed to be all roses and daisies. “Lord knows you need it...”
__________
“Look at this cute ass skirt, girl”, Jane pointed at a chic, wine mini skirt she was holding. “You know, when I saw it back there I wanted to have it, but it’d look so much better on you”
You took a few seconds to admire Jane’s beauty. She was about 3 cm taller than you, had a great posture, and almond, dark brown eyes that suited her dark skin tone perfectly. Her body leaned more towards the slimmer side.
“Shut up! No, it would not”, you let out a small giggle. “It would look gorgeous on you, buy it.”
She smiled a little at your laughs. She was happy to see you at least a little cheerful again. “Yeah, but I think it’d look better on you. I’m entitled to my own opinion, am I not?”
You knew this debate was gonna go back and forth, because of her stubbornness. “Let’s both buy the skirt.”
You ended up doing so, added by a bunch of bags full of clothing. This may’ve turned into your new coping mechanism. Who needed therapy when you can go on a shopping spree?
Two hours were spent in boutiques and clothing stores and Jane decided she was tired, wanting to visit the local spa.
“No, seriously, these Riverdale seasons just keep on getting worse and worse. Netflix needs to step up their game ASAP”, Jane ranted, making you laugh at how serious she takes it. “It’s getting embarrassing. I’m being for real.”
The two of you were sitting in the whirlpool at the spa, relaxing your whole bodies a little.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever, I don’t watch these new Netflix shows anyways. Been stuck on the vampire diaries for the last 7 years”, you chuckled, knowing you hated trying new things. “Can you pass me one of those magazines?”
Jane nodded, grabbing a random one from the table next to her and handed it to you, without looking at it.
The cover of it caught your eyes immediately. How could it not, when your ex’s new girl looks absolutely dazzling on the front page of it.
‘Supermodel Yuki Sakurai talks summer fashion tips, struggle with self-love and most importantly, her hot, new boyfriend the media is going crazy over’ was the headline of the Harper’s Bazaar Magazine cover.
You felt your stomach getting sick and your breath getting heavier, but you still flipped the pages until you found the one with her interview. You began reading it, skipping the boring parts.
‘Int: so, we see you have a new boyfriend. Tell us, how did you guys meet?
Yuki: Yeah, he’s an amazing guy. We actually met about six or five months ago at one of my photoshoots, since he’s a photographer and we exchanged numbers and stuff, and then we made it official mid last month.’
About six or five months ago? You were with him back then, but her answer was too unclear to find out if he cheated or not.
“Woah, yn, you okay?”
You entirely forgot about the fact that you were with Jane, let alone somewhere other than your bed.
Before you could react, Jane snatched the magazine out of your hand.
“You really can’t escape them, huh?”, She sighs, taking you in her arm. “It’s gonna be okay, baby. In a few months, you’re gonna look back to this and think wow I really was stuck on a guy who’s scared of microwaves and cried like a bitch when Iron Man died.”
You laughed, punching her arm playfully. “You know, I actually love these things about him. Shows his sensitivity and the way he perceives things.”
Jane looked at you as if she didn’t believe you were actually saying that stuff. “Girl, you’re overanalyzing this. Let’s just throw this shit in the trash, okay?”
She put the magazine aside.
“I just don't know what I did wrong.”, You murmured. “I know we weren't the best, but we didn't even fight that much. We could’ve talked it through.”
Jane pursed her lips and cooed. “You know, relationships are complicated sometimes. The reason why he broke up, to begin with, is probably not your fault.”
“Well, what if it is? I mean what if I was too fat or too ugly for him?”, you asked. “If he wanted a skinny girl so bad, I could’ve lost weight for him, I don’t get it.”
Jane looked at you like you lost your mind entirely. “I can’t believe you just said that! Even if that was the reason, which it wasn’t, you shouldn’t make yourself suffer because of it. That’s his loss. You’re beyond gorgeous and you have an amazing body.”
“You’re just saying that.”, tears slowly started coming up in your eyes. “But the thing is Jungkook knows all about my insecurities. Why would he do that to me? I know he knows that I’m still not over him.”
You usually didn’t like crying in front of other people, but you didn’t really care at the moment, besides that was Jane. You trusted her with your life.
“Girl, men are trash, I can’t believe you’re crying over one right now, seriously.”, she wiped your tears and held your face between her hands. “You know, honestly, I’ve read so many articles about how models actually hate themselves and have like the lowest self-esteem so in conclusion, no matter how miserable you are, his new girl is even more miserable.”
You knew Jane didn’t mean it in a harmful way, but it sounded harsher than needed. “I don’t hate her, she probably doesn’t even know about me. I’m just really insecure. He upgraded from me. He’s dating a whole model now.”
The situation just felt like a deja vu of these last few weeks laying in your bed, even though you were at the spa with your friend. You were supposed to have fun, yet you didn’t feel like having any.
“Why would you feel insecure when all you’ve seen of her are Instagram posts and red carpet pictures? She’s supposed to look beautiful, it’s her job.”
To a certain extent, Jane was right, but that didn’t really help your situation, you still felt bad about yourself. You stayed silent.
“C’mon, this isn’t fun anymore. Let’s leave.”, Jane mumbled.
_______
it’s been two days since the incident at the spa and you felt a little bit better now.
Those days were spent reading the same three book series you’ve read your entire life, overthinking, hot Cheetos, Indian takeout, and Netflix. It really wasn’t as miserable as it sounded.
You were just taking a little rest before term break ends and you have to go back to the shithole college again.
Jane was using the time until college starts again, but in different ways than you were. She was planning on going to some frat party in an hour and forget about the world’ for a minute. Or till 4 in the morning, where she will most likely drunk call you and ask you for a ride back to the dorms, because the friends she went to the party with were shit-faced as well and were in no way capable of driving anywhere without the cops stopping them.
Going out partying on a Friday night was a Jane tradition. In the past, you’d sometimes go with her, but you mostly spent your time out with Jungkook doing something more fun than partying could ever be. Now you can’t do that anymore, but laying in bed is more ideal than a party for you at the moment.
“How do I look?”, Jane twirled around to show off her black cocktail dress. She looked beautiful.
“You look beautiful.”, you responded to her question. “Are you leaving now?”
“Hm”, she said, to which you nodded. “You sure you don’t wanna come with me? It’s gonna be really fun.”
You shook your head no.
“Alright”, she shrugged, making her way out of your bedroom. “But I told you, it’s gonna be fun.”
You chuckled, rolling your eyes. “I’ll stay here, I have shit to do.”
“Yeah, right, like binge-watching the vampire diaries and taking 5-hour naps”, she said in a sarcastic tone. “Anyway, bye-bye, Vic’s already waiting for me in the car.”
Victoria was perhaps one of the most obnoxious people you know, yet she was too much of a nice person for you to talk shit about her. The voice of your intrusive thoughts couldn’t help but to, though.
“Alright, bye, take care and say hi to Vic from me.”
After Jane left, an hour went by like it was just a couple of minutes. You were starting to get real bored and decided to watch some regular tv in hopes to find something you enjoy. You ended up not finding anything fun, but you still watched it, because you didn’t have anything else to do.
A few moments later, the doorbell rang and you were suddenly worried. Either this is a serial killer or Jane forgot something.
But to your surprise, it was neither, but it was none other than
“Jungkook?”, truly, those were the only words you were able to mutter out at your shocked state. “What are you do-“
At the speed of light, you were interrupted by your ex-boyfriend pressing his lips to yours. He didn’t say a word.
You weren’t expecting him. Not knowing how you were supposed to feel at the moment, you just let it happen. You were sure your mental state couldn’t get any worse than that, no matter how this will affect you in the end.
“Is Jane home?”, for the first time in 3 months, you’re hearing his silky voice again.
Jungkook knew Jane always had some type of special hatred for him with her killing stares and her bitter comments. You didn’t notice either though.
He also knew she must hate him even more after your breakup. Or maybe she liked him more now since she was able to get rid of him without killing anyone.
“No”, your answer was short and it made a weight fall from Jungkook’s shoulders before he continued kissing you.
It wasn’t anything you haven’t done before, yet it felt like it’s been ages since it last happened. Your mind drifted to the thought of Jungkook and his model girlfriend. You were asking yourself what their sex life was like, if she was tighter than you or if she had stretch marks and scars.
Jungkook’s lips were moving south, giving your neck wet kisses, while you were wondering why he broke up with his model girlfriend. Or if he even did. You felt selfish for not caring.
Removing your clothes one by one, you were left in your underwear, while Jungkook only had his boxers on.
This body was yours. You knew it inside out. Where he liked to get touched and where he preferred not to. You knew him better than anyone else. You were sure.
You already moved to your bedroom, since Jungkook effortlessly carried you there. You were sat on his lap, facing him and your hands were in his messy hair. His hands were around your waist, he was slightly smiling into the kiss, as you started grinding on him. He loved how easy it was for him to turn you on. You were still his.
Cutting off the kiss, he looked you in the eyes, while his hand was on your cheek. “Say aah.”, he said.
You widened your mouth obediently, which was followed by him collecting as much saliva as he could in his mouth and spitting it into your mouth.
“Swallow.”, demanding, he spit on your face, his eyes become darker with every passing moment. You did as he said.
You looked at him with big eyes. He knew you loved it. You’ve always had a thing for him degrading and humiliating you during sex.
He started grinding on you almost desperately. You knew exactly what he wanted.
Getting out of his grip, you dropped to your knees and freed his hard dick from his drawers. You reached for it and started pumping it, and licking it. Your spit was leaking down his dick as you used it for lubrication. Then you started sucking on it, just the way you used to.
Jungkook’s groans and satisfied sighs were enough to make you even wetter than before. You enjoyed giving more than receiving.
Your mouth was wet and warm around him, giving him a feeling of familiarity. You lick over the tip a few times, then proceed to fully take him into your mouth.
The bulge in your throat could be seen and the way your eyes were tearing up a little wasn’t bothering you at all. You loved giving.
Jungkook started thrusting in and out of your warm, welcoming mouth, his tip hitting the back of your throat multiple times.
“Fuck”, a throaty moan left Jungkook’s mouth, giving you hints that he was about to cum. And he did, releasing in your mouth before you swallowed it. “Shit, baby, that was so good.”
You felt your face heat up and a sheepish smile made its way to your face. Your throat was sore.
The two of you were on the bed again. To you, it felt like it was the times before your breakup again, when you’d purposely start an argument just for the makeup sex because Jungkook wasn’t giving you any anymore. It was like sex was the only thing to look forward to.
You felt attached to Jungkook to a point where it was dangerous. You weren’t okay when he wasn’t around. He affected every part of your life and God knew it wasn’t always a positive thing. Maybe it was the fact that he took your virginity. Maybe because he was your first boyfriend, the first guy that made you believe you were worthy of love and that someone was actually capable of loving you. One thing you knew was Jungkook had an expansive influence on your life.
While you were practically drowning in your own thoughts, Jungkook was busy taking off your underwear.
“You okay?”, Jungkook calmly asked you, looking at your riddled face.
“Huh? Yeah, I’m okay.”, you sounded distracted, Jungkook wasn’t sure about asking you what it is though. He didn’t feel like getting personal.
So he shrugged it off and started kissing you again, his dick was unsurprisingly hard again as he played with your tits. He drew lines over the stretch marks of your thighs and kissed them.
“Can I fuck your ass?”, Jungkook’s raspy, tired-sounding voice casually asked, to which you quickly nodded, knowing that Jungkook’s favorite position had always been anal. He was massaging and gripping your ass firmly.
“This is gonna hurt at first, but I promise it gets better.”, He warned calmly into your ear, while putting some lube on his dick and just went right into your ass, slowly thrusting so you don’t feel as much pain.
He was right, it did hurt a lot when he first put it in, but the pain just changed into pleasure in a matter of time and his slow-paced thrusts helped with the adjustment.
“Fuck, I missed this ass”, he practically growled into your ear, as he kept on thrusting in and out, steadily gripping your wide hips with his big, veiny hands. “It just doesn’t feel right when I’m inside her ass.”
You knew your confidence shouldn’t rely on Jungkook bringing his girlfriend down, but you couldn’t help but feel good about your body when he said that. It’s been a while since you felt even a tiny spark of confidence. You weren’t so fond of him mentioning her while he was inside of you.
Your soft moans rang through the whole room like sirens, while he watched your ass jiggle against his pelvis, thrusting in and out faster every second. He missed this.
You had always thought you were indecisive, but you knew exactly what you wanted. You just couldn’t have that, so you’d eventually have to settle for less.
Jungkook wasn’t to blame for it, you just couldn’t concede your shortcomings. The movie’s villain wasn’t always the real villain.
Your hands traveled to your pussy to make sure you’d orgasm as well, when you heard Jungkook’s breathing getting heavier and his thrusts getting gentler than before, indicating that he was gonna cum soon. You were certain he could make you cum with just anal, but you wanted to cum with him.
With furrowed eyebrows and drops of sweat dripping down his body, Jungkook looked down at your arched back. The whole scene was sticky, especially when Jungkook presses his upper body to your back, whispering sweet nothings into your ear and kissing the spot.
It was kinda odd, having sex with your ex-boyfriend you were crying over just a day ago. There was a certain intensity to it though. Like your long-lasting nostalgia was finally fulfilled.
You’ve realized you couldn’t imagine yourself being intimate with anybody else. Jungkook already knew your body, how it looked without the material protecting it, the strawberry skin, the slightly sagging breasts you swore you’d surgically remove once you had the chance to but didn’t. He knew where you liked being touched, he was the first one to even touch you in those places.
You were unsure what you’d do with yourself when he leaves.
Jungkook’s thrusts slowly started stopping and you too felt the familiar sensation in your stomach.
Suddenly, you two were nothing but desire, fear, and pleasure. And faster than you could process, you came together.
For minutes after your orgasm, you were just laying on the bed, thoughtless. Maybe a little regretful. Not you, but him.
You weren’t facing each other, but you could hear each other’s breathing. Your stomach was filled with something you’d describe as post-sex melancholia.
All of a sudden, Jungkook stood up from the bed, startling your resting self a little, but you decided to keep quiet, wanting to see what he was going to do.
He made his way to the door to leave what he thought was your sleeping body laying there. You couldn’t keep quiet anymore.
“Where are you going?”, your soft voice suddenly rang in his ears. “Don’t you wanna stay?”
He didn’t know how exactly to tell you. You’ve always been a gullible little girl, you were the type of girl to think fucking equals love. Little did you know that wasn’t the case at all.
“Yn.... you know I can’t”, Jungkook responded, you knew it wasn’t gonna be good when he said your name like that. “I got a girl at home and I don’t wanna mess shit up with her.”
There it was. Your suspicion was corroborated. He was still going out with the model and you were a certified home wrecker. Great.
You physically felt your heart breaking. “Bu- but why are you here then?”
You were incapable of being mad at him at the moment. It was your fault for letting him in, again. After breaking your trust and your heart.
“This was a mistake”, he declared, not looking into your eyes. “I’m sorry, yn...”
He’s moved past your room now, already at the exit of your dormitory. He was about to leave.
“You already ruined shit with her when you came here and fucked me.”, your voice was small, but your words were heard.
Without looking back, he left.
And you went back to your room, standing in the middle of it for a minute in silence before your brain fully processed what had happened and your tears started pouring.

Long Story Short (3/3)
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x female reader (Modern AU)
Description :
Long story short, it was the wrong guy Now I'm all about you I'm all about you
Word Count : 2.2k words
Warning : fluff, ex Steve, Bucky Barnes my beloved, Just Bucky being an amazing partner
Tumblr media
Bucky Barnes does not do relationships. Well, to put it in better words; Bucky Barnes did not do relationships until he met you. As a marriage counselor, he had advised many couples to just get a divorce, and even though he had saved a lot of marriages, the bad ones always hurt him more. To be the person to witness unhappy couples was not the best profession. But again, to be the person to save a marriage or bring back the lost love made his profession the best in his mind.
He did not have hope for a future relationship. He tried dating, it did not work out, and then he became the man who always left after the night and never stayed over. Not only that, but he thought his life would remain the same, and he would become a miserable 60 years old that hated lovesick teenagers and would die in his bed alone.
Bucky’s life changed when he met you on the flight. You, with your obvious shittier life, changed everything for him that weekend. And that was two years ago.
He fell in love and that changed it all, things just started falling into place perfectly like a domino effect going smoothly. He called you the moment you landed and asked you out. Likewise, he was scared that what happened back in his hometown was some sort of escape for you. Luckily, it wasn’t, you said yes and he was ecstatic.
The date went splendidly, you talked about everything from your careers to your embarrassing high school moments that still sometimes haunt you at night. He told you about his family and he came clean about what went down with Dot (She wanted a relationship, he didn’t and then he bolted). It scared you, Bucky was so different, you’ve never been with someone who didn’t plan everything out, but it was exciting nonetheless. He assured you that he wanted a relationship with you because and let's be honest, he was already very smitten.
He thought that was the best weekend of his life. You proved him wrong, every day with you was the best day of his life.
“This is technically our third date,” you suggested.
He gasped, dramatically placing his hand on his chest. “This is our first date to me and you’re already trying to get in my pants. Give me some respect, lady.”
You laughed, shoving a hand on his arm playfully, and he held your wrist, bringing your body closer to his. He wrapped his other hand around your waist and leaned down to leave a longing kiss on your lips. “ As much as I would love to stay the night. I wanna do right by you, doll.”
You smiled and leaned in for another kiss, foreheads pressed together, before you jokingly said, “FYI, I have already been in your pants before.”
That was the moment Bucky knew you were the one for him.
***
Alpine fell in love with Bucky quicker than you could. On the fourth date when Bucky finally let you take him home, Alpine came from her hideout in the kitchen and sat on his feet. Alpine never did that with anyone, your friends had told you that you had the most hostile cat ever. Whenever a new person entered your apartment, Alpine either ignored them or attacked them, but with Bucky, she was affectionate.
For you, it wasn’t one moment that made you realize you were in love. Unlike Bucky, you had a lot of issues to deal with before you could give yourself completely to him.
Bucky never judged you, he gave you the time you needed and never pushed you when he was ready to acknowledge he loved you.
Of course, the insecurities were also present, you’d have urges to go throw his phone or stalk everyone he follows on Instagram. You told Bucky, hoping he doesn’t call you crazy, but instead he gave you his phone’s password. Yes, now your face could unlock his phone too. He told you he trusted you, and you were it for him so if that’s what you needed to be sure, he would happily oblige and wait for you.
It took you six months to finally acknowledge your love for him.
When you were working on a divorce case, the wife told you that when her husband walked into a room, she didn’t feel anything. You got lost in her story and told her how when your boyfriend, your Bucky was nearby you felt calm, lighter even. She smiled and told you she would like to have a love like that. And your mind just went, ‘Holy shit, I am in love with Bucky’. After wrapping up for the day, you immediately rushed towards Bucky’s office, you couldn’t wait to tell him about your recent discovery.
You sat across from him at his office, anxiously fiddling with your finger. “Bucky, I need to tell you something important.”
He looked up from the file on his table and closed it before giving you all of his attention. He always did that which made butterflies erupt in your stomach. “Go ahead, doll. I’m all ears.”
“I... I need to tell you something important.”
He nodded his head, encouraging you to go ahead.
You exhaled and said, “I don’t know how to tell you this.”
Bucky studied your features, concern quickly replaced intrigue. This is it, he thought. You’ve realized that he was a rebound and now you were breaking up with him.
“Are you breaking up with me?”
 “I love you.”
You both said at the same time.
“What?” you queried, standing up from your seat and moving towards his chair.
You settled on his lap, cradling him, one of his hands rested on your thigh and the other on your lower back, holding you still on his legs. “What?”
“I love you,” you confessed, taking his cheeks in your palms and you gently pressed a kiss on his lips.
“Say that again,” a grin spread across his face, the corner of his lips almost reached his ears.
“I love you,” you said, beaming with adoration in your eyes.
“God, doll. I love you so much.”
***
After dating for a year, you decided to move in together. Every day with you had been the happiest day of Bucky’s life. It had been exactly two years since you met Bucky and he was so head over heels for you that sometimes he couldn’t even voice it. Maybe that is why he had a velvet box in his pocket, so that he could express his love for you without gathering the courage to say it.
Both of you decided that for your second anniversary, you were going to have dinner in your shared apartment that you made home. You planned to order take out with movies followed by lovemaking, whereas Bucky planned to make you his fiancé by the end of the night - which was also followed by intense lovemaking.
While on his way home, he stopped to pick up your favorite flavor of the cake. His phone vibrated in his pocket and he quickly picked it up without checking who it was.
“Hey, pal,” Steve’s voice greeted him, taking him by surprise. Bucky hadn’t talked to his best mate since - well, since he found out what he did to you. Bucky was furious that he hurt you like that and made you doubt yourself. The selfish part of Bucky was thankful, not for hurting you, but for leaving you because Bucky couldn’t imagine a life without you. And hopefully, after the proposal, he wouldn’t have to.
“Steve,” Bucky said. A silence lingered where both of them could hear the other breathing, but none of them knew what to say, if anything was even left to say. Both of them broke the silence together at the same time.
“Peggy and I are getting a divorce.”
“I’m going to propose to Y/N.”
 “You what?” Steve asked.
“No, you what?” Bucky countered.
Steve exhaled through the device connecting two old pals and spoke, “Yeah, we tried, but it just didn’t work out. I don’t even know why I went back after the first time. I lost so much by just doing that.”
Both of them were aware of what he was talking about; you. Steve lost you from falling into old patterns with his ex-wife. Steve regretted it. Peggy’s pregnancy wasn’t planned and when she told him, he tied down the knot for the sake of his future family. It took Steve two months to realize that he loved you and not his wife. He didn’t contact you, you asked him not to. The only reason he invited you to his wife’s baby shower was so that he could win you back. He hoped seeing him would make you want him again, but when you walked in with his best friend’s hand in yours, he didn’t know how to react. He had lost you to Bucky of all people and he hated his mate for this, for taking away the best thing in his life.
“Are you sure about her?” Steve questioned, hoping to raise some doubts and second thoughts in his best pal’s mind. He knew that was wrong, but he desperately wanted you back.
“I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life,” Bucky answered dreamily and Steve could feel his heart crack.
Steve should have stopped, he shouldn’t have relented but Steve wasn’t a good man like you thought he was. Good men don’t cheat on women, good men aren’t selfish. “It's gonna change everything between us, pal. Is she worth it?”
 “Yes.”
Bucky didn’t hesitate in his answer and hung up the phone instantly. He realized quickly that anything that separated him from you or even tried to was not going to be in his life. Bucky was a possessive man and he would die rather than give up his two best girls, you and Alpine.
***
When Bucky came back, you didn’t expect him to kiss you so feverishly, as if he let you go, he’d lose you. He would never lose you, that you were sure of.
Your anniversary went down as you planned. Eating pizza and talking while the movie became a background noise was peaceful, domestic and everything else you desired. You could spend the rest of your life like this. Just you and him — and Alpine, obviously.
Bucky was hiding something that much you could feel. You both always knew when something was up with the other. A tiny part of your brain panicked that maybe Bucky was cheating on you. He wasn’t; there were no signs, but your brain always mustered up the worst condition as a defense mechanism.
So, when Bucky got down on one knee with a ring in his hand as you were bringing the cake from the kitchen, tears welled up in your eyes. Bucky gently took the cake from you and placed it on your dining table before getting a hold of your hands in his.
“Doll,” he started, and tears were already starting to stream down your face. “ I love you so much that it physically hurts me sometimes. I never thought I would be fortunate enough to be happy, but God, you make me so happy and I can’t even…”
A lump formed in his throat and he tried again, “I had this whole speech planned and now I can’t even get a sentence out without crying. They make it look so easy in those rom coms.”
You chucked, stifling a sob that was threatening to break out. ” Nothing about us has been conventional. I mean, from the way we met to the way I’m proposing, but that is what I like about us. You are already my home, my family, my everything and I would like you to be my wife too. So, Y/N Y/L/N, would you make me the happiest man alive by marrying me? ”
“Yes! God, yes, Bucky.” you beamed, holding his palm tightly, supporting him to stand up. He situated the ring on your finger before claiming your lips in his. He kissed you with so much passion and adoration that you felt that even if the earth swallowed you whole at that moment, you still wouldn’t mind. You’ll be glad because you got the opportunity to know and love a man like Bucky.
After the very anticipated and passionate lovemaking, you settled your head on Bucky’s chest, limbs tangled together, and his arms wrapped around you, igniting you with warmth and love, so much love.
“Alpine is gonna get mad that I took her man,” you remembered, repeating the words you said all those years ago in a hotel room. You did not know where it was going then but God, you wanted it to go somewhere. Somewhere like this, engaged to him.
Bucky chuckled, reminiscing that night and weekend before pulling you closer, placing a kiss on top of your head and promised, “Alpine is not the love of my life, my future wife, my everything, doll. You are.”

Unrequited Love
Teehee highschool AU. It's not that great but I just really wanted to write one. I might actually make this a short series.
Warning: Swearing and a bit of bullying.
------------
"Move it freak." You hit the lockers, hard. Tears prick your eyes as the instigators laugh cruelly behind you before moving on. You feel a hand on your shoulder and you snap.
"You going to dunk my face in a toilet or something? Wasn't the first time enough?" The hand recoils a bit before moving back to its place on your arm and giving you a reassuring squeeze. You refuse to look back until you finally sense that the presence was gone. You sigh, picking up your books before heading to your class.
------------
You're sullenly picking at your lunch, sneaking small glances at your crush from across the cafeteria when a familiar voice cuts in.
"God, if you keep staring at her like this, you might as well profess your love right here and right now." Your face turned beet red as Nat slides into the seat next to you, gesturing towards Wanda Maximoff. Wanda was an interesting girl. Constantly surrounded by boys who's testosterone levels went through the charts but she never paid them any mind. Out of all of the "popular" people, she actually seemed the most decent. The one person that actually had morals. She was also quite pretty. No, scratch that, very pretty. Waist length auburn hair and emerald green eyes that glowed.
"Shut up Romanoff." You elbow a cackling Nat as she yoinks a carrot stick from your plate.
"If you had any common sense, you'd know that you should avoid her. Look at the way Vision's got his arm around her waist. The minute you try something, he'll be there to throw you into a dumpster." You frown, taking in Vision's rippling, athletic form. Nat, was of course right. He could quite literally, throw you out of a 3 story building and into a dumpster. Sighing, you shoved the rest of your lunch over to Nat who immediately grabbed it.
"You can have the rest, I'm not hungry." Nat squealed with happiness as you left the cafeteria, unaware of the glowing green eyes that followed you out of the cafeteria.
"Jackpot!"
------------
"God, I'm so done with today. I just want to go to Tetra's Diner, grab some fries and a milkshake, go home, take a nice bath and then pass out on my bed." You groan, running your hands through your hair as you and Nat open your lockers. A single rose falls out of your locker, a note clinging onto it. Nat peers over your shoulder as you pick up the rose.
"What's it say?" Nat pipes up from behind you and you shush her.
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date;
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
"William Shakespeare." You smile when you recognize the quote while Nat frowns.
"Jeez I guess you and your secret admirer and both dorks then." A voice sneers from behind you. You whirl around to find Tony Stark snarling down at you. Nat steps in front of you protectively.
"Fuck off Stark." She warns him in an almost calm manner. She cracks her knuckles which sends him scuttling off, flashing one last glare at you.
"Thanks Nat. You didn't have to do that." You smile brightly at her, the two of you walking out into the school parking lot. She slings an arm around your shoulder, ruffling your hair.
"Anytime. He's just an asshat." You smile at her open affection towards you.
"I'm going to the diner, you want to come?" Nat shakes her head sullenly.
"I have judo I have to get to. I can give you a ride though?" She offers as compensation but you politely decline.
"Nah, I'll bike there. It's super close anyways." She gives you a reluctant grin before hopping into her car and speeding away.
"Bye Y/N!" You wave goodbye, letting out a content sigh before pulling the motorcycle helmet over your head. You feel a pair of eyes watching you and you whip around to see nothing but an empty parking lot. Shrugging, you start up the engine and speed away.
The moment you're out of sight, Wanda steps out from her shadowy corner of the lot, frowning as her mind reels from your relationship with Nat, jealousy consuming her.
---------------
"Oh these are good." You groan as you sink your teeth into the french fries. Valkyrie flashes you a toothy grin before returning to her work. The doorbell rings, signalling another customer entered the diner. You pay no attention to the person, shovelling french fries into your mouth. The figure slips into the seat beside you.
"You might want to slow down on those. I would hate for you to choke." A soft Sokovian accent whispers and you look up into the smiling face of Wanda Maximoff. You backpedal slightly, choking on the french fry that jammed itself in your gullet. Her amused expression takes a more concerned look and she hands you a glass of water which you down immediately. Not the best first impression on your crush but you'll take what you can get. You clear your throat, attempting to recover from the embarrassing scene you just caused.
"Maximoff. What brings you here?" You ask, your voice an octave deeper. She gives you an odd look.
"It's my favorite diner." You mentally kick yourself. God, why am I so weird? It's a diner! She's probably just grabbing a snack! You cringe before regaining your composure.
"Same here. Best fries in town." You stutter out and Val flashes you an amused look from behind the counter as you slip off your stool. "Well, I'd best get going." You flash a weak smile at her, grabbing your jacket and slipping it on. "Have a good one Wanda." You're about to slip out the door when a hand grabs your wrist. You look back to see Wanda, a determined look on her face and you gulp at her close proximity.
"The upcoming chemistry test. Can you help me study for it?" You scoff internally. No wonder she came here. She came for your help. You chide yourself for thinking such thoughts before responding to Wanda, who looks quite pale, almost anxious.
"Yeah sure. Where and when?" Her firm grip on your wrist relaxes as she steps out the diner door with you.
"My house tomorrow? I can give you a lift." You gulp, a light pink dusting your cheeks.
"Y-yeah, sure. I won't be able to catch a ride with you though, I can't leave my bike behind." You point to your motorcycle which is lying a few feet away. She nods before giving you a lingering touch on your forearm.
"Alright, see you then." As she walks away, you pump your first, fumbling with your phone as you text Natasha the news.
---------------
Okay so I'm kind of scared to do a series because I feel like I'm a bit better at one-shots but let's give it a try. This will be a pretty short series.

Note
So first, I just want to say that I love Mortified, especially the arcs involving Ereshkigal and Innana. The whole thing is absolutely incredible, and I'm always thrilled to see an update. Second, I was rather hoping to offer you a prompt I've had swirling about my head. What if there is some sort of research facility exploring "that which is unknown and previously thought to be impossible" (i.e. magic but they don't call it that because people don't really know about magic and ghosts in this AU) and Danny's class is invited to go on a field trip there. At first, everything is normal, but just after the class leaves the researchers realize that their instruments show that some sort of Eldritch Horror is nearby and they start freaking out, but it's just Danny. I don't know where else this would go though.
Mr. Lancer chewed on the end of his pen.  It was a disgusting habit, he knew, but he could never quite get himself to kick it, especially when he had a problem to confront.
Said problem was, presently, that enough of his students had expressed an interest in careers in ectology and paranormal science that he really had to give them a relevant field trip.  Unfortunately, there were very few reputable options for such a field trip.  The Fentons were unsafe, Axion Labs refused to give tours, the GIW were essentially a government sponsored hate group.  Most other ‘ghost hunting agencies’ were outright scams.
But there had to be something nearby.  Or at least in the state.  Maybe not something that explicitly or solely dealt with ghosts, but something.
Maybe...
Oh!
He shifted to sit straighter in his chair.  That would work.  He started typing an email.
.
“We got a what?” repeated Johannsson.
“A field trip request,” repeated Deer.
“Like... from a school?” asked Johannsson, cautiously.
“A high school,” confirmed Deer, sounding rather stunned.
“Do they... know what we do here?”
“Evidently,” said Deer.
“Like, they know we research magic and telepathy and stuff.”
“Yes.”
“And astral projection, higher-dimensional beings, alternate universes, that kind of thing?  Fringe science?”
“He says the junior class is interested in the ‘paranormal sciences.’”
“Wow,” said Johannsson, finally bringing his coffee up to his mouth and sipping at it cautiously.  “Where,” he started, “where are they from?”
“Um,” said Deer, peering at her computer screen.  “Casper High.  One sec.”  She started typing.  “It’s in Amity Park?  Do you think it’s a joke?”
“Ah,” said Johannsson.  “No, that tracks, actually, if it’s Amity Park.  We’ve got some weird readings on file from there, if you look it up.”
“It’s close,” said Deer.  “If we get readings, why don’t we have a presence there?”
“Another agency called dibs first,” said Johannsson.  “We have enough trouble.  No need to step on toes.”
Deer looked up at Johannsson incredulously.  “We fight eldritch abominations from the edge of reality,” she said.  “Is the boss really worried about stepping on toes?”
“Hey, that’s how we get funding,” said Johannsson, shrugging.  “We don’t want to end up like MKUltra.”
“MKUltra was a scam, Steve.  And also mostly illegal.”
“Yeah?”
Deer shrugged.  “Anyway, should I send this on, or...?”
“Yeah, go ahead.  The boss will probably get a kick out of it, if nothing else.”
.
“I would not have told the boss about this if I knew I’d be the one babysitting a bunch of teenagers,” said Deer through a clenched smile.  She jerked on the hem of her blouse, not used to the more formal clothes she was wearing on this momentous occasion.
“Yeah,” said Johannsson, “but it isn’t like we get a lot of people coming into this profession for this profession.  And they’re kids.  So be nice.”
“I’m always nice,” grumbled Deer.
“Well, look like it,” said Johannsson, elbowing her.  He caught sight of the yellow school bus.  “Here they come now.”
They waited until most of the students had gotten off the bus to approach.
“Hi,” said Johannsson, “you must be Mr. Lancer.”
“That’s me,” said the rather frazzled-looking teacher.  “Come on kids, let’s get settled down.  Listen to our guides.  Let them introduce themselves.”
“Yeah, hey,” said Johannsson, waving.  “Welcome to the Edge Institute, where we study that which is unknown and often thought to be impossible.”
“Hi,” said Deer, frowning at one group of students in particular.  Johannsson followed her eyes.
The trio in question didn’t seem particularly out of the ordinary.  Except...  Well, there was a reason Deer worked here.
“I’m Steve Johannsson,” he said, getting back on track.  “This is Sylvia Deer.  We mostly work in report processing and assessment, but that brings us into contact with all our other departments, so we’re more than suited to show you around.”
Sylvia put her thumbs up.  “Yep,” she said.
“Most of what we work with isn’t terribly dangerous, however, there are exceptions to that rule, and we have some classified projects, so don’t wander off.  Stay within view of us at all times.”
“What if we need to use the bathroom?” asked a student.
“Well, that’s different,” admitted Johannsson.  “We’ve got a couple scheduled stops, so make sure you go at those times.  Other than that, don’t go through any doors we don’t open for you and don’t touch anything without asking first.  Got it?”
There was a soft murmur of assent.
“Come on, kids,” said Mr. Lancer, clapping, “he asked a question.”
The murmur became slightly more unanimous.
“Right,” said Deer.  She jerked her head towards the building.  “Let’s go.”
“Anyway,” said Johannsson, “this is reception, which is the only part of the building freely open to the general public.  If you do need to go to the bathroom, they’re right there.  We’re going to hang out here for a few minutes, get everyone taken care of.”
Most of the students made their way to the restrooms immediately, however, that one trio stayed put.
“Hey,” said the smallest of the group, “do you guys hear that?”
“Hear what?” asked Johannsson.
“Um,” said the boy, slightly rocking forward on the balls of his feet, “there’s, like, an alarm or a siren going off?  It’s really faint, but is everything okay?”
“We’d get a text,” said Deer.  “Not to mention an announcement on the PA system.”
“And the radios,” said Johannsson, tapping his.
“Right,” said Deer, nodding.  “Maybe you have tinnitus or something?”
“Isn’t that recurrent, though?” asked Johannsson.  “He’d know if he had it.”
“I do not have tinnitus,” said the boy, firmly.  “I really think there’s an alarm going off.  Or maybe someone has a mosquito ringtone.  Gosh, I hate those...”
Johannsson glanced at Deer and noted that she, once again, was staring at the children rather intensely.  Mostly at the boy, but that made sense since he was the one speaking.
“Danny has good hearing,” said the girl, who was decked out in an array of gothic and mystic symbols.  One which, on closer inspection, would probably be fairly effective at passive protection.
Johannsson wondered if that was the result of research, intuition, or sheer luck.
Perhaps that was why Deer was looking at them like that?
“Maybe I’m just imagining it,” said Danny, shaking his head.  “Let’s go to the bathrooms.  There’s probably a line by now.”
Once the kids were gone, and Johannsson and Deer were more or less alone in the entry hall, Johannsson turned to Deer.  “Think we should call Detection?”
“Yeah,” said Deer, pulling out her phone.  “There’s something not right, here.”
“Maybe he’s a sensitive?” suggested Johannsson.  “He could be picking up a project.”
“Or maybe he’s like you and he’ll break every piece of tech invented in the last twenty-five years as soon as he touches it.  Or he was cursed by a goddess, like Vicky in Containment.  Or maybe he just has tinnitus and is in denial.  I still don’t like this.”  She finished dialing Detection and brought the phone to her ear.  “Hey, I-”  She pulled the phone away, glared at it and cautiously brought it back.  “What’s going on?  An incursion?  Then why aren’t we on lockdown?”
Johannsson’s blood ran cold.  “An incursion?  How big?”
Deer held up a hand.  “That doesn’t-  You know we can’t detect everything!  It doesn’t matter if nothing else gets triggered, the protocol is lockdown until we can determine- If you had done your job, the kids would still be on the damn bus!”
At this point, Deer’s shouts had drawn the attention and worry of Mr. Lancer and several of the students who had emerged from the bathrooms.
“Is everything alright?” asked the man.
Johannsson glanced at Deer.  “No,” he decided, just before the security shutters slammed down and the emergency lighting came on.  “I’m really sorry,” he said, “but it seems like some of our colleagues were overly excited about your tour and didn’t, er, follow proper procedure following a, uh, event.  So-”
The PA system stuttered into life.  “Attention.  A level seven entity has been detected.  All nonessential personnel, please proceed to the nearest shelter.  Repeat-”
“Seven?” echoed Johannsson, starting to sweat.  “Seven?”
“It’s probably a false alarm,” said Deer, putting away her phone and smiling in the way only people who feel very ill do.  “None of the other incursion detectors went off.  No radiation associated with dimensional breaks or anything.  We should still get everyone to a shelter.  Maybe you can round up everyone from the bathrooms?”
“Right,” said Mr. Lancer, who was enviably calm.
“Is an entity like a ghost or something?” asked one of the kids, who clearly weren’t grasping the gravity of the situation.  “How strong is a seven?”
Level seven entities couldn’t be described in terms of strength alone.  They were eldritch, uncaring gods that tore at the fabric of reality with their very presence, creatures that had no business being on the material plane.  They shed bright magic and dark science in their wake, leaving those unfortunate enough to see them grappling with madness that was not.
He really wanted to know what was happening in Amity Park (ghosts?) that made these people so blasé about the alarms, flashing lights, and security shutters.
Wait a second.
He unclipped his radio from his belt.  “This is Johannsson, calling detection.  Can you describe the signal to me?  Over.”
The radio crackled.  “Slowly rising over the last thirty minutes, peaking and plateauing in the last ten.  Why?  Do you have something?  Over.”
The bus had arrived ten minutes ago.  Johannsson closed his eyes.  “Maybe.  Will inform.  Over and out.”
He looked over at the bathroom where Danny and his two friends were emerging.  Danny had his hands pressed over his ears.  Whenever the overhead lights flashed off, the boys eyes reflected green.  Just for a second.
Yeah.  Johannsson had something.  The question was, what was he going to do about it?

Prey for You | Part 4
Genre: Smut, angst, and some fluff this time

A/N: this part is like the opposite of a tootsie roll soft on the outside hard on the inside
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4 Part 5, Part 6
Tumblr media
“This is just for a short while.” You say, swallowing the bile that has risen up in your throat as you look at the smug wolf sitting in front of you on his couch.
“Sure.” He shrugs nonchalant, but the cocky arch of his brow says otherwise and you have to squash down your pride with everything you’ve got not to jump on him. Like it or not, you’re at his mercy now that your landlord has officially evicted you. Without his gracious help, you’d now be on the streets. “I’ll find another place as soon as I can.”
“You can take all the time you need.” He opens his arms wide, going for a welcoming vibe but the stupid grin on his face counteracts it.
“No. I’ll be out of here soon.” You deadpan, not wanting to owe him more than you already do. God knows he’ll hold his over your head forever.  "And I don't feel comfortable living here for free so from now on until I leave, I'll be taking care of things around the house."
“Oh, how domestic.” He chirps sweetly.
"More like a live-in maid." You mutter under your breath but he easily hears it, the stupid grin finally dropping from his face as he sits forward and looks at you sincerely. "Don't say that. I meant what I said. You’re here as a friend."
"Yeah, sure." You snort. “You’re basically high from gloating.”
A smile tickles his lips again as he leans back. “I always enjoy the chance to one-up you, but that doesn’t mean I’m lying.”
“Wow, you really are a saint.” You jeer, grabbing your bag and heading towards the room that is to be yours.

To your great surprise, living with Chan was actually kind of nice. Aside from the obvious perk of living in such a comfortable, beautiful house that had everything you could ever need. Chan himself was proving himself to be a quiet congenial roommate. Most importantly, he left you the hell alone for the most part, staying cooped up in his studio the majority of the day so that you barely even saw him. And despite your agreement that you’d take care of things around the house, he still did most of his things himself, picking up after himself and washing his clothes before you got the chance to. He fed himself too as indicated by the boxes of takeout from every possible fast food place filling out the trash. So you were barely wasting any time on taking care of the house, and spending most of your days following up on your studies like you so sorely needed.
All in all, this whole arrangement was working out positively in your favor. Too positively, that you have to wonder what he was getting out of this. He can’t possibly really be doing this out of the goodness of his heart, especially since no one is even aware of this kind deed for him to gain any morality points off of it. He hasn’t even made a move on you for the whole three weeks you’d been here, seeming content to just coexist with you that you were starting to feel like you were taking advantage of him somehow. Even though this whole thing was his idea.
Maybe that, your momentary self-doubt, is what prompted you to do what you did next.
“Hmm, something smells nice.” Chan remarks, walking into the kitchen where you were making yourself some food. He stands behind you to take a look at what you were cooking, and you feel your heart skipping a beat at the now familiar scent of him filling your nostrils and his body being so close to you. And when he speaks, his voice deep and calm next to your ear, it makes your skin tingle. “Looks tasty too.”
And like a teenager who had the great fortune of being noticed by the popular jock, you twist your head around to look at him, dewy-eyed as the words stumble out of your mouth before you can think them over. “Would you like to have dinner with me today?”
He pauses, looking at you curiously and you turn back to the food and continue nervously, “I mean, that junk food you eat everyday can’t be good for you.”
“Aw, are you worried about me?” He asks cheekily, and your shoulders tense. “Never mind.”
“No, no, I’ll have dinner with you.” He rushes to say, plopping down on a seat resolutely. “No take backsies.”
“Idiot.” You mutter, finding yourself wearing an involuntary smile because of him once again.
__________________________________
You’re not the best cook, you’ll be the first to admit it, but Chan praises your food like you are a world class chef.
“Fuck off, Chan. It’s not that good.” You protest awkwardly, not really used to being complimented. But he insists, mouth full of food, “It is! It’s sublime.”
You look down at your food to avoid eye contact with him and put on your best snooty voice. “Poor thing. Your habit of eating exclusively junk food must’ve ruined your palate to the point where you think my cooking is anything but decent.”
“You sell yourself short. These hands--” He suddenly grabs your hands suddenly, startling you as he kisses them. “They’re magic.”
You yank them back to your lap, flustered, the adrenaline pushing your poor fluttering heart into overdrive and making you panic. You quickly grab your fork and shove some food into your mouth trying to distract yourself from the conflicting emotions clashing in your chest, and regretting it almost immediately as your nausea swells up.
“Is that how you woo prey?” You snark, taking a big gulp of your wine to wash down the piece of food you barely chewed. “Blatantly lie to them about their cooking skills?”
The atmosphere fully changes as Chan drops his cheery attitude.  “Can we not talk about… that? It’s just you and me here. We don’t have to let the outside world in, do we?”
You still, your sense of danger rising up exponentially at his suggestion, and once again you find yourself wondering why he was doing this. What was his endgame here? Was he just messing with you? He puts on an honorable performance but you’ve seen him slip before. It must get tiring for him. Maybe he wants to see you hurt; it’s in his nature and he’s been repressing it for so long. You’d be the perfect victim too. No one even knows you’re here, and even if they did, they’d never believe your word over his.
Or he could be genuine. Maybe he’s as nice as he tries to be. But that just scares you more, because how do you deal with that? You’ve never had a relationship with someone that was open and trusting. You’ve always hid behind your games. They kept you safe. No one has ever truly hurt you because you’ve never allowed someone to get close enough. But if you trust Chan, if you let him in and he betrays you… you don’t know how you’d even recover from that.
You want to believe though. Everyone always says how much of a good person he is, how loyal, how selfless, how supportive. They can’t all be blind, right? And you’ve seen it too, in the way he always strived to protect his friends from you. He wanted the best for them. Maybe he could want the best for you too.
“Okay.” You answer in a small voice, heart pounding.
His answering smile is bright and big, but it does nothing to assuage your fears so you settle for taking another sip of your wine. That’s what it’s made for, right?
“So, what do you actually do? I never asked.” Chan makes conversation as he gets back to his food.
You clear your throat. “I’m a waitress.”
“Oh, and… um, is that what you want to be doing?” He asks unsurely.
You roll your eyes at him, feeling a little at ease at his naivety. “No. Nobody wants to work in the service industry. It’s basically slavery and all your costumers are either rude or crazy. I hate it.”
He pauses, looking like he’s thinking very hard for a moment, before he asks, perplexed. “So why do you do it?”
“To eat?”
“Oh. Right. Of course.” His ears turn red and it’s his turn to take a big gulp of his drink. “I’m, uh, apparently an idiot. Yes, people work to afford living. Of course.”
“I guess you’ve never had to think about that.” You note, surprised that you don’t feel any bitterness as you say it.
“No.” He stares at the food on his plate. “I’m sorry.”
“What are you sorry for? It’s not your fault.”
“Yeah but--”
“But I don’t have money so you feel sorry having money in front of me?” You grin, tone light, and he smiles back, face flushed as he obviously chastises himself in his head.
“So…” He starts again, and it’s a little endearing how nervous he is. “What do you really wanna do?”
You regard him for a second, wondering if you should really cross that line and let him in. Well, here goes nothing.
“I’m studying to be a doctor.”
His jaw drops to the floor. “You?”
“Yeah, shocking right?” You quip, taking another sip from your glass.
“I mean, yeah.” You would take offense at his words if it weren’t for the--you begrudgingly admit--endearing confused frown on his face. “Isn’t that a traditionally prey profession? Don’t you get, like, weird looks or something?”
“Yeah.” You snort, feeling the bitterness rise to the surface. “I get more than just weird looks. People feel the need to tell me every moment of every day how I’ll never be a good doctor. How no one will trust a fox with their life. How I should just quit and get into business or law or whatever other profession that can use my no-doubt nefarious skills.”
“That sucks.” He says then immediately cringes at his lame comment.
“Yeah, no shit. And guess who says it the most? Prey hybrids.”
A light bulb suddenly clicks above his head. “Is that why you dislike them? They’re really not all like that--”
You interrupt him sharply, already knowing where he was going with this. “They’re not like that to you because you’re powerful and rich and you could do whatever you want, but they’re ruthless to me. They’ve always been. So yeah excuse me if I don’t care too much for your prey apologism. It’s pretty infuriating actually.”
“I really think you should--”
“What about you?” You ask pointedly, clearly wanting to change the subject. “I mean, I know that you’re a producer. I suppose this is what you’ve always wanted to be doing.”
“Ah, yes.” He coughs, straightening in his seat as he reels back from the change of topic. “I’ve loved it since I was an angsty teen listening to hip hop and pretending like I’m so cool and gangsta.”
The thought of little rich boy Chan swearing it up and down and acting like a thug brings an involuntary and sincere laugh out of you. It doesn’t bother Chan though. If anything, he looks content to have made you laugh.
“Did you…” He begins after your laughter dies down, fiddling with the stem of his glass as he looks at you from under his lashes, “Have you ever listened to any of my tracks?”
“No.” You scoff, the word coming out automatically. I mean, why would you? It’s not like you like the guy.
His face falls at your flippant answer. “Ah. Of course.” He says flatly, bringing his glass to his mouth.
You feel a pang of guilt in your chest. Logically, you know you have no reason to feel bad. You two were never on the best of terms and you have no obligation to listen to his songs. And yet, as you look at his crestfallen face, the guilt still eats at you.
“How about you show me some after dinner?” You find yourself suggesting and his face immediately brightens up. “Yeah! I mean… you don’t have to if you don’t want to.” He interjects quickly, even though he clearly wants you to.
“I want to.” You say firmly, and he smiles. ___________________________________
“I’m a nice guy who just has a lot of money?” You wheeze, cracking up and face flushed from the intoxication. You were somehow on Chan’s lap as the night progressed from him showing you his proudest works to his most regrettable ones.
“I know. I know. What was I thinking, right?” He laughs along with you despite his obvious embarrassment.
You lean in close to his face, humming, "I think it's endearing." You kiss him.
"You just like embarrassing me." He protests weakly, mouth opening against your lips.
“Guilty.” You pull away to take his shirt off. Caressing his exposed muscles, you grin, “Hmm...yummy.”
He bursts out laughing, “You like it?”
You shrug, “It’s not what I usually go for but I can get used to it.”
He scoffs at that, and pulls your own shirt over your head. Tugging your bra over your breasts, he cups them in his hands and murmurs against your skin, “Well, I don’t need to get used to these.” before his mouth latches onto them. He sucks marks onto the sensitive flesh while his hands grope and knead your breasts.
Looking up at you, he pushes your breasts together and laps his tongue over the nipples. Your arousal spikes as your gaze locks with his challenging one, and you start rocking yourself over his thigh.
"Fuck that's hot." He mumbles, lightly tugging on your nipple with his teeth as he pulls away, making you moan out and your hips swivel down to push your core harder against his thigh.
"Wait, wait," He pulls you to your feet, and you whine, protesting the loss.
“Hush, baby girl.” He soothes, yanking your pants down your legs along with your underwear before he slips his hand between your legs to drag a finger up your slit, hissing when he feels your wetness. "That's what I want." He groans, pulling you back down on his thigh and using his grip on your hips to make you move over his thigh again. "Want you to ruin my pants with your cum, baby girl. Show me how much you need me."
"But I don't need you." You retort, though your hips don’t slow down.
“Are you sure about that, my little fox?” He flexes his thigh under you, pushing it up more against your core.
“Uh-huh.” You breathe, squeezing your eyes shut and throwing your head back. He takes the opportunity to get back to sucking on your breasts, which only makes your movements more frantic.
“Come on, baby, tell me how good I am and I’ll help you.” He gasps between kisses. You tug on his hair, almost bouncing on his thigh now. “Why don’t you beg for it, pup?”
“Unbelievable.” He growls, pulling your head down. “You’re still so prideful even as you hump my leg like bitch.”
Whatever stinging remark you would’ve hurled at him is muffled against his lips as he pulls you into a hungry kiss. You let him push his tongue into your mouth, taking him in and caressing it with your own before you put your hands to his chest and push him back.
“You really want it? Want me to say how good you are for me? How wet you make me?"
He nods eagerly.
“What a sweet pup.” You praise, “Striving so hard to please me. You’re doing so well, baby. You’ll make me cum real soon.”
“Do it, please. I wanna see what you look like cumming up close.”
“Keep tensing your leg like that and you’ll have me cumming in no time, puppy.” You bite your lip, small but needy moans flowing out of you. “What a good boy you are, so good.”
“Please,” He whispers, his hands helping you move faster on his thigh. “Please, please.”
“So close---ah---oh god, so close...baby!” You gasp, grabbing onto him tightly as you finally cum, the orgasm surprisingly potent. He beams up at you, soaking up every little moan and shudder you let out. “So pretty.”
Gradually, your panting breaths turn into airy giggles as you get down from your high. You give his lips a peck before your hands fall between you and starts pulling his dick out from his sweatpants. You grin against his lips, feeling giddy. "I can’t believe I’m gonna let you fuck me in your studio. How cliche.”
His answering chuckles are punctuated with little moans as you glide your hand up and down his hard dick. “If it--ahh-- makes you feel any better, t-this is the--ahh, yeah like that, baby-- the first time I fuck anyone here.”
You giggles increase in pitch, “You’re so full of shit, Chan.”
“I’m serious.” He whines, leaning up into your touch as you swipe your palm over the leaking head of his cock. “This is kind of a... sacred place for me."
“Yeah, right.” You roll your eyes, “It can’t be that special if you’re here with me now.”
“It is.” He insists with a pout, and continues casually as if it was nothing, “Because you’re special.”
Your hand stills on his cock, your face turning to stone as you try and make sense of what he just said.  He's messing with you. He has to be.
Fear and uncertainty makes your stomach churn and your skin loses all color, your face getting cold and sweaty as the bile rises up in your throat. You thought you could handle this but you can’t. You’re too much of a coward to risk it and your sense of self-preservation rears its deformed head once again.
Standing up abruptly, you croak through your suddenly dry mouth,  "I think I’m gonna go. I need to lie down"
Chan gets up too, not letting you go. "Oh, is everything okay? Are you sick?".
"I’m fine. I’m just..." You explain weakly, wriggling yourself out of his grip as quickly as you can in your intoxicated state. "I gotta go."
“Hey, wait!” Chan calls after you, but doesn’t try to stop you. You hear him curse out just before you get out of earshot.
____________________
You wake up with a huge headache and an even bigger feeling of dread. The events of last night coming back like a bullet shot through your chest, and you’re even more confused now with the hangover shattering any hope of a coherent thought forming in your head.
You stumble out of bed and head to the door, resolving to get some water and some painkiller so you’d maybe start to feel like your head wasn’t likely to explode at any moment. But as you slide the door open, you hear bickering voices just outside in the living room.
"Chan, what the hell are you doing man?" You hear a familiar voice ask but your brain is too scattered to pinpoint the owner of it right now. Luckily, you don’t need to as Chan speaks up in reply, "It's fine, Jisung. It’s all under control."
"No, it's not. Isn’t that what you used to tell me? That no matter how much she makes it seem like she cares, she could flip the table on me at any moment and that I shouldn’t trust her. That’s what you said!”
You quickly pick up that they’re talking about you despite how much you don’t want to believe it. But that’s the kind of language that has always been directed at you, there is no mistaking it. Yet, against all reason, you hope it’s not true. Or at least, you hope Chan would deny it.
He doesn’t, of course. They never do.
“I know what I said!”
“And? Do you trust her now?” Jisung asks incredulously.
“Of course not.” Chan vehemently denies, the resoluteness in his voice piercing straight through your heart.
Of course not. Of course he doesn’t trust you. What a ridiculous question.
“Jisung is right, Chan.” A new voice adds and you focus on the sound of it, trying not to break down just yet. “You’re letting her sleep under your roof, man, and you didn’t even think to tell us. Has she been messing with your head?”
They are talking about you like you are some kind of monster, some wild beast that would pounce on you the second you turned your back to it. You’d find it amusing coming from anyone else, but not from Chan, because for once in your life you wanted to believe that someone could see you as something other than what the world thought you were. You blame yourself for this one.
“My head is fine.” Chan retorts angrily, letting out a forced sigh. “I’m just.... She was in trouble and I had to help her.”
“Oh, you had to?” The new guy interjects mockingly, “Tell me, would she have helped you if you were in her position?”
“That’s irrelevant.” Chan protests.
“No, it’s not. She would’ve let you suffer and laughed about it. She’s bad news, man.”
“I think you guys are being a little harsh.” Another voice speaks up, deeper than the rest. “Maybe she’s not as bad as you think. I’m sure Chan has a good reason for trusting her.”
“Yeah, I’m sure his dick does.” Jisung scoffs, “You know, I can’t believe you’d do this after preaching to me for hours about how I need to stay away from her and how stupid I am for letting her get to me. But hey, I’m just a stupid squirrel hybrid, right?”
You’ve heard enough. Pushing the door the rest of the way open, you plaster a smile on your face and step into the living room, the four boys’ head snapping around to look at you.
“Chan, you didn’t tell me we had guests.” You ponder theatrically, ignoring Chan’s dismayed exclamation of your name. "Oh hey, Sungie. I knew you'd be back for more." You wink at him and he immediately ducks behind the dark-haired stranger.
“Please go back to your room.” Chan asks, equal measure pale and tense.
“But aren’t you going to introduce me to your friends?” Your eyes flit over the three guys, stopping when you get to the blonde, freckled one. “Especially this one. What’s your name, pretty boy?”
The boy blushes at the unexpected flirtation but extends his hand out to you nonetheless. "I'm Felix." He greets you unexpectedly cheerily, and you’re even more surprised to find out that he’s the one with the deep voice.
But before you can take his hand, Chan steps between the two of you.
"I need to talk to you." He grits, pulling you to your room and shutting the door behind you. “What are you doing?”
You shrug, feigning ignorance. “Saying hi to the guests?”
“Now is not the time for your games.” Chan rakes his hand through his hair, stressed out, but you keep up your innocent facade and he sighs in defeat. “You know what? Just stay in your room until they leave and then we’ll talk.”
“No, we’ll talk now. Are you ashamed of me or something?" You wonder, cocking your head to the side. “I thought you said I was special to you? But apparently you say a lot of things.”
“Baby--”
“Why, Chan?” You finally let your facade drop, letting the full extent of your disappointment and sadness break through. “If you don’t want me here then why did you offer in the first place?”
“I do want you here. I just wasn’t planning on anyone finding out about this.”
You laugh in disdain, “How do you always know what to say, Chan?”
“I’m sorry but you have to realize how bad this looks for me. I worked fucking hard to get to where I am today. There are so many people waiting for me to make the slightest mistake so they can watch me fall. And here you are… well, you don’t exactly have the best reputation. If people find out about us then--”
“Wow, you really are an angel, aren’t you?” You bite, venom lacing your every word.
He laughs cruelly. “Oh, yes, and the judgement comes out. You’re such a fucking hypocrite. You can judge everyone and treat them like shit, but as soon as someone does the same to you you’re suddenly the poor misunderstood victim that everyone bullies.”
You reel back at the harshness of his tone and words. He’s never spoken to you like that before, no matter how much he was upset at you. It was jarring. “Stop it.”
“Why? It’s what you’re best at, darling.” He sneers, continuing to ruthlessly attack you. “You judged me before you even knew me and went about treating me like a feeble predator because that’s what you decided that I am. And now you want me to take responsibility for your actions and stand up for you when other people treat you the way you’ve been treating them? But here’s the thing, baby; maybe if you had actually been a decent person and treated others with respect, you wouldn’t be in this situation right now. Hell if you'd been a decent person, you wouldn't be having such a hard time anywhere, not with me, not with school, not--"
"No, fuck you, chan. Don't you dare tell me this is all my fault. You know nothing about my life! I can't believe I actually--never mind.”
“No say it. You actually what? Liked me? Cared for me? Don’t make me laugh, fox. You don't give a shit about me. Every time I try to get close to you, you pull back like I make you sick. If it weren’t for me offering you a place to stay, you wouldn’t even be talking to me right now. You only care now because I have something to give you, but the second you’re done with me, you’ll throw me in the trash like you do everyone else. And I’m not going to sacrifice all that I’ve worked for to entertain you until you’re bored.”
“You may be right. I may be as awful as you all say I am.” You smile, tears falling down your face. “But at least I'm honest with myself. You on the other hand? Under all your pretense, you're just as fucked up as I am. And one day, everyone will see you for how ugly you really are. ”

High Heels, Red Dress
i think this is actually the longest fic i’ve written to date, goddamn. as always, i really really ran with this one. **LOOSELY BASED OFF OF SEASON 4 EPISODE 9 “52 Pickup”.
word count: 3.8k
warnings: none, some angst and some fluff.
“So you think he’s taking classes on how to talk to women?” Prentiss asked, incredulous. You tried to surprise your giggles, causing the others to look at you.
“Maybe Reid should try that,” Spencer’s face reddened as he busied himself with the file, pretending to read through it. You could tell he was faking because it never took him that long to study a file.
“I’m kidding, Spence.” You said a short time later, suddenly feeling guilty. Spencer looked up at you and nodded, tight lipped. He returned to the book he was reading. You shook your head and headed to the back of the jet to make yourself a coffee and take a break for a little while. Your peace, however, was short lived. Morgan strolled back and started making himself a cup of coffee while you waited for yours to finish brewing. He looked at you, eyebrows raised.
“What’s on your mind, Sweet Thing?” He asked.
“I feel really bad about what I said to Spencer.” You said quietly, taking a long sip of your coffee. Derek chuckled.
“I know why you said it, can’t say I blame you entirely.” You narrowed your eyes.
“What do you mean?”
“Oh nothing, nothing at all.”
“Morgan.” Your tone raised slightly.
“Alright fine, you can put the angry eyes away. All I meant was that I can see the way you look at him, and you’re frustrated that he hasn’t made any sort of moves.” He said, leaning against the counter and raising his eyebrows again. “Am I wrong?”
Your answer was you walking away. He was completely on track, but you couldn’t bear to say the words out loud just yet. There wasn’t much hope on your end in terms of Spencer feeling the same way about you that you do him, so what was the point of hoping? It just lead to high expectations and low outcomes. You forced yourself to concentrate on the case file for the rest of the ride, briefly glancing at Spencer here and there; you made eye contact 3 times.
Although the jet ride was painfully quiet, the arrival on the scene was nowhere near as heavy. Well, in a sense. You were staring a dead woman in the face who looked just a little bit too much like you for your taste, and you could tell Prentiss was having similar thoughts.
“I guess we have to go pay this “Viper” guy a visit.” Spencer said behind you, quietly. You turned and looked at him, eyebrows raised. It was the first thing he’d said to you since the jet.
“Okay, I'll grab the keys from Hotch.” You turned on your heel and headed in Hotch’s direction as Morgan approached Reid.
“I see the way you look at her, you know.” Morgan said from behind him, frightening Reid slightly. He tucked a piece of hair behind his ear, and made a confused face.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He said quietly, walking to the car you hopped in.
“Those two are made for each other, goddamn.” Morgan said to no one in particular. Meanwhile, your ride to Viper’s class was a little too quiet for your liking. You broke the silence and turned the radio down slightly.
“I’m sorry, Spencer.” He looked at you suddenly, as if lost in his own thoughts.
“For what?” He frowned.
“For what I said on the jet, that was unfair and I’m sorry.” Spencer was quiet for a minute, contemplating.
“I really am, Spence.”
“No no I know, I accept your apology. I was just thinking, what if that was the reason the unsub had taken the class in the first place?” You paused, waiting for him to continue. He had something.
“Meaning that if a woman in his life, whether it was a girlfriend, wife, or maybe a female in a club, made him feel small and that he was unable to pick up women. Maybe he’s impotent and he’s out to prove a point.” You grinned and touched Spencer’s arm lightly, retracting when you remembered his disdain for being touched. His facial expression faltered, but was replaced quickly when he called Hotch.
“You are such a genius, Boy Wonder.” He smiled and looked at his hands in his lap, feeling warmth spread through his body.
The drive through downtown Atlanta was an easy one, you having spent the majority of your early to late teens and 20s driving all through downtown D.C. You arrived at the community center rather quickly, and found Viper in a seminar room on the first floor.
“This is the jungle, my friends, and you are the predators.” He said to his class, earning a round of applause.
As you and Spencer approached, he looked you up and down hungrily, licking his lips.
“Well hello there, gorgeous. Fortunately for you my class just let out, and I happen to have an hour until my ne-”
“My name is Doctor Spencer Reid and I’m with the FBI Behavioural Analysis Unit, and this is Agent (Y/L/N).” Viper tore his prying eyes away from you for a moment to look Spencer up and down, clearly unimpressed.
“Sure, sure. What can I do for you, Agents?” He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
“This is regarding your, uh, class. Have you seen any sort of suspicious people or any of your students acting out of the ordinary?” Reid said, sticking his hands in his pockets.
“All my students are out of the ordinary, otherwise they wouldn’t need me to guide them.” He returned his attention to you, with a smirk.
“I, however, am the master. Picking up women is my profession and my dedication.” You rolled your eyes.
“We need to see a list of your students.” You said, monotone.
“I’m afraid I can’t do that, Sweetheart.”
“We will come back with a warrant.” You glared. Men like Viper made you sick.
“Alright, fine, Miss. Agent. You’ll get the roster. You can have anything else you want, you just have to ask nicely.” Viper leaned in closer and Spencer moved forward, almost shielding you.
“Oh, Dr. Reid, moving to protect the lady, hmm? How often do you have to rely on that title of yours to help you bring women home?” He almost laughed.
“Frankly, “Viper”, the way you talk to women is completely demeaning and utterly disgusting. We will come back with a warrant and will be investigating your supposed alibis, because right now you are a prime suspect in a murder investigation.” Spencer got in Viper’s face, his face as cold as stone. You’d never seen him get his back up in this way, usually it was Morgan.
“I have receipts to back up my whereabouts last night, for your information.”
“If you have any questions, call the Atlanta police department.” You said quietly, handing him a card with the number written out on the back. He looked you up and down one more time and replaced the ridiculous furry hat back on his head.
You followed Spencer out the door and back to the car, almost unable to keep up with his pace.
“Spence, what’s up?” He looked out the window, not saying anything. You could sense his anger.
“What’s wrong?” You pressed.
“I don’t like the way Viper was looking at you or talking to you.” He spat. “He was looking at you the way a predator looks at literal prey; you are so much more than that.”
Your face softened, and you rested a hand on his shoulder.
“I appreciate you standing up for me, that was very sweet.” You whispered, giving him a small smile. His heart fluttered, and he mustered up a small smile in return.
“Anytime, (Y/N/N).” He looked back out the window and subconsciously unclenched his fists at your sides, making you smile a little more.
Your ride back to the police station was very quiet, Spencer was still angry at Viper’s disgusting nature, and was completely against Morgan and Hotch’s idea to send you into a club as bait.
“This is ridiculous!” He said, crossing his arms.
“Spence, it’s fine. If it’s what I have to do, then it’s what I have to do.” You said, beginning to get frustrated. You appreciated more than anything how much Spencer cared, it made your heart do backflips, but you could take care of yourself. You’d been an FBI agent for 4 and a half years, and trained with Morgan regularly. Worst case scenario, you could handle yourself.
“It’s not fine, (Y/N). You were already subjected to Viper once today, now you have to go act as the prey for the unsub? What if he kidnaps you?”
“Reid, we’re going to be stationed at the bar and on the floor handing out fliers. Nothing is going to happen.” Spencer walked out of the room, Prentiss following close behind.
You crossed your arms and huffed. Hotch looked at you, and then looked away. You knew what you had to do, and you were determined to save some lives tonight, whether Spencer liked it or not.
“Are you ladies almost ready?” Hotch said on the other side of the door.
“Yeah, Hotch, we’ll be out in 5 minutes.” Emily called back. You could hear Hotch’s retreating footsteps, and resumed your conversation.
“Did he really say that?” Emily asked, securing an earring.
“Yep. Verbatim.”
“Wow, I can’t believe Reid had the guts to stand up to Viper like that, or that Viper even had the audacity to say something like that!”
“When you’re a misogynistic narcissist, anything is possible.”
Emily laughed in response as you looked at yourself in the full body mirror, smiling a little bit. As much as you hated to admit it, you did look good. You were in a tight red dress with a plunging neckline, gold jewelry, and red heels. You adorned a smokey eye look and teased your hair, completing the outfit. If nothing else, you were definitely ready for the club. Prentiss’s outfit was similar, except black with silver accessories. You opened the door to find your knights awaiting, and a few dropped jaws.
“Phew, you ladies clean up nice. You sure you’re alright with this?” Morgan said, directing the question at you.
“Yeah. Where’s Reid?” You asked, Spencer nowhere in sight. Morgan frowned and stuck his hands in his pockets.
“He’s waiting in the car.” Hotch said, looking at Morgan. Morgan shrugged his shoulders as you followed them to the car you were set to take, separately from the rest of the team so it looked like you were going in on your own.
“Spencer’s jaw would drop harder than Morgan’s if he saw you back there,” Emily said, a knowing look crossing her features. You snorted a little.
“Yeah right, he wouldn’t notice anything was different.” Months ago on a ladies night with Emily, JJ, and Penelope, you’d confessed your crush on Spencer to them after a few glasses of wine too many. Since then, they’d done everything they could to try and make sure you two would get together, but to no avail. Either Spencer was pretty good at hiding his true feelings, or he just did not feel the same way.
You were hoping for option 1.
You arrived at the club a lot sooner than you would’ve liked, and entered beside Prentiss.
“Just pretend like it’s another ladies night.” She said. You nodded and headed straight for the bar while she went to find a hightop to stand at.
“Two margaritas, please.” You told the bartender, who flashed a white smile. You smiled back softly and looked at the sea of people crowding the dance floor, looking for any sort of activity that caught your eye. On the other side of the bar, something did catch your eye. Spencer. He was staring at you, and when he noticed you looking back, he reverted his attention to Morgan. You frowned, and thanked the bartender.
“Spence was staring at me.” You said as you placed your drinks on the table. Prentiss raised her eyebrows and nodded at Morgan, who nodded back. He and Spencer moved slightly away from the bar to pass out fliers and ask if anyone had seen the man from the sketch.
You mindlessly sipped your marg when a familiar scent hit your nose, and rose your eyes to meet Viper’s.
“Oh no.” You said, giving Prentiss a look.
“Hello again, fancy meeting you here. Decide to take me up on my offer to see me on my turf?” He asked.
“No.” You said.
“Well, maybe I can pique your friend’s interest here. How are you, Sweetheart?” Prentiss glared.
“Here to prey on some younger women?” She asked, cocking an eyebrow. Viper frowned, but recovered quickly.
“If that means you, then yes ma’am. To what do I owe the pleasure?” He asked, trying to take her hand. She snapped her hand back to her body, and looked annoyed.
“If you aren’t here to help us, walk away.” She said, clenching her teeth. Viper shrugged and headed back in the direction of the bar, probably to find some other poor soul.
“He is not real.”
“I wish that were true.” You both took a long drag from your drinks, and found your eyes wandering towards the tall, curly haired genius. It was hard to find him at first, until you picked him out as the most uncomfortable man in the room. Morgan was beside him, also without any fliers, pointing to various women in the room. Spencer was nodding, as if taking mental notes about whatever Morgan was saying.
“Women like it when you can make them laugh. I know your sense of humor is a bit questionable, but if you can get her laughing, you’re definitely on your way there.” Spencer nodded, finding his gaze locked on you. You looked absolutely stunning in your red dress, barely coming above your knees. Your makeup accentuated your gorgeous eyes and your hair framed your face, and Spencer was breathless.
“Hey, stay with me, Pretty Boy. These tips can work on her too, I promise.” He nodded in your direction with a knowing smirk. Spencer’s cheeks flushed and he turned his attention to the bartender, who was talking to a couple of younger girls. He approached her and gave her a shy smile and a wave, pulling a spare flier from his pocket.
“Have you seen this guy walking around tonight?” He asked. The bartender shook her head and moved on to the man next to her, filling a drink order as she spoke.
“He looks familiar, but so do all the men I come across around here. He’s a common character.” She nodded to the paper in Spencer’s hand. She clearly wasn’t interested, too busy to be.
“Alright, then can I ask you something?” He said, shoving his hands deep in his pockets. She placed the drink down in front of the man next to him, turning her attention back to Spencer.
“Shoot.” She looked down the bar and saw that the other bartender had taken a few guests at a time, so she had a free minute.
Now he was across the room, talking to the female bartender. He was performing a magic trick for her, causing your blood to boil. She was giggling and touching his arm, and you could see the blush on his cheeks from across the room.
You grabbed your drink and were ready to march over there, when Prentiss caught your arm.
“I think I know who the unsub is,” You looked at her, thoughts of Spencer long forgotten.
“I was thinking about what you were saying about Viper’s speech today- the thing about squashing the queen bee.” Sparks collided in your brain as your eyes widened, connecting the dots.
“I’ll grab Spencer and Morgan, tell Hotch and let’s get out of here.” You chugged the rest of the margarita and felt it immediately, marching over to Spencer and Morgan much more confidently than you should have.
“We know who the unsub is,” You said, primarily to Morgan.
“Who?” Spencer asked, abandoning the magic trick and the bartender. She walked away without a second glance. Your glare hardened as you turned on your heel, walking out of the bar.
Morgan and Reid looked at each other before following you outside, watching as you jumped in the car with Prentiss and Hotch. Rossi pulled up in a car beside them, and they hopped in too. Spencer and Morgan put their vests on in the car and Spencer allowed his mind to wander. You’d looked so angry back there. Did he say something? He was only angry on your behalf earlier, he didn’t think you would be upset with him for something so trivial. He frowned as you all pulled up outside of the house.
You hopped out after Prentiss, still in your dress, but changed into black high top converse. You looked somehow even better with the dress and the converse, your hair still wild and free. Spencer gulped as he unholstered his gun, following behind Morgan. You were the first to enter the house, clearing almost half of the downstairs by the time Morgan and Reid caught up. You started up the stairs when you’d heard a crash from behind a door.
“He’s in there!” You yelled, jumping down the stairs to kick down the basement door. “FBI you’re under arrest!” You screamed down the stairs, making your way down with Morgan hot on your heels.
“Put your weapon down.” Morgan said, aiming right for his head. The unsub simply laughed.
“Or what, you’ll shoot me, pretty girl? I don’t think so.” The unsub inched closer, and you trained your gun on his head.
“One more step and you die. I don’t really think you want that, though.” You remained firm, and the unsub lost his nerve. The knife clattered as it hit the ground, the victim crying as she wriggled in her restraints behind him.
Morgan cuffed him and forced him upstairs, and as Reid approached you, you followed behind them. Reid frowned once more and followed Prentiss and Rossi back upstairs. Luckily, the unsub had slipped up and led the trail right to his home and the latest victim, who you were able to save. No harm had come to her when you had gotten there, although the disemboweling seemed like it was about to begin. It was safe to say she was scarred psychologically.
You stood a bit apart, arms crossed over your chest. You didn’t even hear Spencer approach.
“I don’t think I got the chance to tell you this, neither at the club or at the police station. You look beautiful,” Spencer’s brown eyes glistened, boring into yours.
“Thanks.” You said.
“I can tell by your tone and body language that you’re upset with me, but I still haven’t quite worked out why.” He pressed, standing in front of you, hands in his pockets.
“You don’t think I can handle myself.” You said, raising your eyes to meet his. He scrunched his face in confusion.
“I never said that.”
“You didn’t have to; it was the way you were so angry at the police station earlier today. It didn’t seem like you thought I could do it or handle it.” You glared. Your expression softened when Spencer frowned.
“I didn’t mean to make you think that, I was just worried about you. I don’t know what I would do with myself if anything happened to you,” Spence said quietly, taking your hand in his. All your anger dissipated the moment he took your hand.
“Oh.”
“Yeah.”
You were quiet for a minute, contemplating bringing up what you saw between Spencer and the bartender. You decided against it, and opted to give him a hug.
“I appreciate how much you care, Spence.” You said into his shoulder. He gratefully returned the hug, elated that you were no longer angry with him. You both pulled away and rejoined your team, heading for the jet. You both slept the entire plane ride, since you were able to change into a pair of leggings and a hoodie. Spencer’s hoodie.
Spencer walked you to your car as he did after most cases, just so he could be secure in knowing you were safe for another night. You had been debating the entire walk whether or not it was a good idea to bring up the bartender, and you eventually decided to ask. You had to know whether or not to move on.
“Spence,” You broke the silence as you approached your car. He turned his attention to you, his eyes tired. “Whatever happened with the bartender from the club?” You asked, absentmindedly picking at your nails. He picked up on it right away, and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
“What do you mean?” He took your hand to stop your nail picking. You frowned. He rubbed his thumb across your knuckles to prompt you to continue.
“You were flirting with her and I wasn’t sure how it went.” You hadn’t thought past asking the question, therefore you didn’t have a very good reason why you were asking. Spencer looked unconvinced, but decided to bite anyway.
“Nothing happened, I didn’t get her number or anything. She wasn’t really my type.” He said, nodding. You nodded in return and smiled. He smiled, but furrowed his eyebrows further. “Why?” He smirked a little.
“I was just curious.”
“Uh huh. What’s the actual reason?”
“I WAS curious!”
“With ulterior motives, I'm sure.”
You shifted your weight between your feet, suddenly uncomfortable under his gaze. He raised his eyebrows and closed the already shrinking gap between you, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. He pulled away and raised his eyebrows as if to ask, “Is that why?”. You reached up and pulled his face back down to yours in another soft, warm kiss.
“Yeah. I was a little bit jealous.” You said, slightly breathless. Spencer smiled softly, and intertwined your fingers.
“Why were you jealous?” You sighed, and smiled up at him.
“Because I like you, dummy.” His eyebrows shot up as if you told him the secret to curing cancer, and slowly processed a response.
“I-I like you too.” You pressed a final kiss to his warm lips and grinned into it, letting your forehead come to rest against yours.
“I should have known the way you were drooling over me in that dress.” You whispered. He looked away and swallowed, running a hand through his hair.
“Goodnight, Spence.” You rolled your eyes as you threw your go bag in your back seat. He was grinning like a doofus as he made his way to his car, receiving a text from you as soon as he got in.
“You’re such a little dork, Reid. You’re lucky you’re adorable.” The warm feeling washed over Spencer once again as he held his phone to his chest, smiling like an idiot his entire drive home.

Adjusting her glasses on the nose, Y/N toyed around with the pen in hand, blankly staring at the kitchen wall. The empty sheet of paper sat there on the table, glaring at her. It was a bit old-school, considering her laptop was lying only a small distance away but this was how she preferred to work on her novel. It had nothing to do with her laziness.
The fear of another rejection was weighing heavily on her and she was really close to giving up on her dream of being an actually published writer. However, after her little pep talk to herself last night, she had this new indomitable spirit ignited inside her. Though that spirit was fading away with every passing minute now.
Y/N dropped the pen on the table with a huff, its metallic body hitting the wooden surface of the table as she got up to make herself a cup of coffee. Now, she might not want to admit it, but her novel wasn't the only thing that was troubling her.
A stranger’s callous comments should never hurt so much but when Dean called her stupid or rather a brainless idiot, for some reason, Y/N took it to the heart. She had then come to the conclusion that he was an ass and it was futile to even try and start a healthy relationship, but the bouquet of flowers sitting on the counter in front of her changed every perception of him yet again.
Ms. L/N, I didn't have any intentions of humiliating you. I'm really sorry. I hope you accept this small token of apology.
Walking up to the counter, Y/N picked up the small, white card and read the handwritten apology for the hundredth time that day. She didn't know if she should be impressed at his tacky methods of apologies or be annoyed at him for wrecking her mental sanity. Shaking off her thoughts, she was just about to dive back right into her writing when the coffee machine beeped.
“This is not gonna work.” She sighed, pouring one cup of the warm liquid and bringing it close to her lips. After finishing her drink, she decided to go out on a walk to clear her head but just as she stepped out of her house, she heard soft pitter patters of feet out in the hallway before a small figure of a hazel-eyed girl came into her sight.
Y/N tilted her head in confusion as the little girl ran in the halls. She looked around for her parents, but didn't see anyone else.
“Hey, pretty girl. What are you doing out here all alone?” She called out to the girl, making her stop in her tracks and look at Y/N.
“Daddy says not to talk to strangers.” She said while she cautiously approached the woman anyway.
“Where's your Dad?" She smiled softly, " I'm Y/N. See now you know me.”
“Daddy's-”
“I told you to stay inside, babygirl.” Y/N’s heart skipped a beat when she heard the all too familiar voice of her ridiculously handsome neighbor before the tall figure of the man himself appeared in front of her. His eyes were focused on the little girl as he walked up to her. Dean crouched down to her height, hands gently placed on her shoulders. “Never go anywhere alone again. Alright?”
Does he have a daughter?
But she had never seen the girl before. Y/N was in awe as she saw the grumpy facade fade away when he talked with her. She realised that there were so many things about Dean that she truly didn't know. Maybe she had, after all, misjudged him on some petty conflicts.
“At least your kid was within the building.” Y/N said.
“Ms. L/N.” Dean regarded and turned to look at her. He shuffled on his feet which made Y/N raise a curious brow.
“Hello, Mr. Winchester.” A look of guilt with an underlying hurt flashed in his eyes when she didn't acknowledge him by his first name. He was very sure his effort at a decent apology had been appalling and it made him wince, thinking of the awfully cringy card he had curated by his own hand to convey his regrets.
“She is pwetty.” The girl tapped his knee, attracting his attention while looking at Y/N.
“Y-yeah.” Heat crept up Y/N’s neck when she heard Dean agree with the kid. A moment of awkward silence passed as Dean looked back up at the woman, this time his gaze not faltering making the woman’s cheeks warm up even more. “She is pretty, baby.”
“You are prettier. Look at you! You look absolutely stunning in that dress and hair!” Y/N jumped in deciding to not make the situation more awkward. She hoped that Dean was maintaining his usual poker face, but instead, the corner of his lips tugged up in a little smile as the girl diverted her attention to Y/N.
“Uncle De did my hair.” She said proudly and Y/N stared at Dean. Uncle De? Never in her wildest dreams would she have thought of him to be such a gentle soul. She now remembered that the last time she saw Dean, he had told her about meeting up with his brother.
“He did an excellent job, I see.” The woman said as Dean got up and stood up straight. “What's your name, pretty girl?” She looked up at Dean, as he nodded his head.
“Ava.” She muttered.
“So Ava, remember next time to not go anywhere without Uncle De’s permission. Promise?” Y/N said and walked up closer to the two humans as Ava nodded her head agreeing to her proposition, all the while Dean’s eyes trailed along the woman's every movement. He was the best in his profession and he excelled at reading his client's body languages to figure out conflict, but Y/N was like a puzzle to him right now so he decided to take matters in his own hands.
“I hope you liked the flowers.” There it was, subtle, but at least he owned up to his apology. Y/N observed him for a moment, watching as he was nervously wringing his hands together. He seemed nervous around her. This wasn't the Dean Winchester she had come to know in the last few, quite unfortunate encounters.
“I did.” Y/N wasn't going to let him off the hook that easily. He tightly held Ava’s hand to not let her out of his sight.
“De-” she pouted, “Uncle De!” The said man looked down at his niece.
“Stay put for a moment, babygirl. Uncle De needs to talk to this lovely young lady. Then we can go and get ice cream, like I had promised.” He said, before looking up at Y/N. “Listen, I'm sorry for what happened that day. I did not-” Sighing, Dean said before he was unceremoniously cut off by his phone vibrating in his pocket.
His face scrunched up as he stared at his phone screen. Sucking in a deep breath, he let the phone ring until the caller reached the voicemail. He chewed on his plump, pink lip when his phone lit up with a voice message. Y/N had an instinct he was avoiding someone, maybe an ex. Dean must have had some girlfriends.
“I'm sorry, I was saying-” the phone rang again and Dean was so close to throwing the little device against the wall.
“I think you should take that, which seems important. And I would leave you with your work things. I was going out for a walk anyway. Have a good day, Winchester.” Y/N said and walked right past the man.
“Hold up!” Y/N stopped walking before turning around to face the lawyer. “I never had the intention of hurting you.”
“Then you know the story wrong.” She said, shrugging
“Well if we study closely, the scarecrow was actually very intelligent but he never realised it.” Dean shrugged.
“So you're saying that I act stupid.” This time Y/N wasn't offended but she liked watching him squirm.
“N-no I didn't mean that-” He struggled to come up with yet another apology. “Can we drop the subject of the scarecrow? Let's just pretend the story doesn't exist in this context.” Y/N chuckled at the poor man, making him shake his head lightly.
“It's okay, Dean. Go, get the kid some ice cream.” She smiled.
“Join me for a drink sometime.” Dean blurted out without thinking. Pressing his lips into a thin line, he stared at Y/N, trying to gauge her reaction.
“I never pegged you for a guy to ask me for a drink.” She raised a brow at him.
“The card and flowers were pretty lame, I agree…but I do owe you a drink, or maybe a coffee, whatever you prefer.” He said. He knew his method of apologising was crappy but at that moment it was the best he could come up with. Dean never was a man of many words and he sucked at expressing his feelings so it was near impossible for him to think of anything better than this, but now he realised it would have been much better if he would have just knocked on her door.
“Sure.” Y/N nodded.
“How does tomorrow sound? Ava will be back with my brother by then. As you can see I kind of have my hands full right now.” He smiled. Y/N pondered over the sudden change in her hot neighbour’s behaviour. If this was the way Dean chose to open up to her, then so be it.
“Tomorrow sounds good,” she smiled back.
“G-great then!” Heat crept up his neck as he looked at Ava, a bit flustered. He didn't know what her deal was but she always rendered him speechless or stumbled on his own words, trying to form a good comeback. Y/N had an effect on him that neither Jo nor Lisa had ever had on him. Her perky attitude made him want to spend any time he got with her. They were poles apart but Dean found a sense of familiarity in her.
“I won't hold back you two any longer.” Crouching in front of the girl and ruffling her brown hair, Y/N said, “Don't settle with anything less than a triple scoop.”
“Don't give her any ideas,” Dean teasingly warned, “I have no idea how to deal with a kid on a sugar rush.”
“Then don't shy away from asking for a little help. I had to babysit my cousin's kids many times. I know a thing or two about babysitting,” Y/N said.
“I'll definitely take you up on that if things get out of hand.” He said, “See you tomorrow night. Have a good day, Ms. L/N.” He grabbed Ava’s hands tightly, pulling her close as he started to walk towards the elevator. Y/N shook her head, an amused laugh leaving her lips. Some things never change.

“I think the cupcakes worked their magic!” Dean teased, sharing a laugh with Y/N over a glass of Manhattan. This was the first time she had ever seen him laugh. Apparently, he was a happy drunk.
“Some roots of jasmine, rose thorns, a pinch of pearl dust and voila! You have the friendship potion,” She barely made it through with a straight face before bursting out in fits of laughter.
“I had a feeling that there was some kind of sorcery involved.” He said, signalling for another glass for both of them.
“This one’s on me,” Y/N said, making Dean scrunch up his face in an adorable pout.
“No it's not. I'm payin’, I was the one who asked you out.” His eyes immediately widened when he realised what slipped out through his mouth. “Not like an ‘asking out’ asking out. This is-” Dean waved at the space between them “-just a gesture of goodwill.”
“You're adorable.” Y/N giggled.
“What?”
“I know this isn't a date. Just two friends hanging out on a Sunday night.” She shook her head, chuckling as the man picked up his refilled glass and took a sip.
Even if Y/N said it was platonic, the ungodly amount of time she had spent in front of her closet to pick out a perfect outfit would definitely make her rethink her answer. She had skimmed through her closet, trying to find the dress that said ‘just friends’ but to her all the dresses she owned screamed ‘I want you to fuck me’.
Nevertheless, she had settled on a simple pair of blue jeans and a crop top. But she had felt seriously underdressed when she knocked on Dean's door and it had opened to reveal the man in a jeans t-shirt and black slacks, staring at her with a smile on his face.
“Well duh! My first impression of you kinda sucked.” Y/N said.
“I did warm up to ya, didn't I?” Dean chuckled. “Another round?”
“Nuh-uh. Sparkling water for me. I don't want to show up at work tomorrow puking my guts out. And that while nursing a painful hangover? No thanks” She laughed.
“You're no fun!” He chuckled with her.
“I am no fun? What about you, Mr. Turn-down-the-volume?” She said as the bartender pushed a glass of water towards her and poured out another to the man.
“You're never gonna let me live that down, are you?” He shook his head.
“Never.”
A moment of silence passed as Y/N looked across the nightclub buzzing with people just like any other Sunday night. She never thought Dean would be the person to even know about nightclubs around the city but guess she didn't know him that well.
“You wanna head back home? I can walk with you to your place, be all gentlemanly,” he smirked. She liked this drunk version of Dean. He was happier, far more cheesy and funnier than his workaholic version.
“Of course. It's not like we live in the same apartment,” she teased. “Hey, you wanna hit the dance floor before we go back?”
His eyes widened at her sudden question. “No, I don't dance.” He shook his head furiously, clearly stating that dancing was definitely not on his agenda.
“Oh come on, don't be shy.” She said.
“Nope.”
“Fine! You are no fun!” She rolled her eyes, “Let's get outta here then.”
The walk back to their apartment was filled with drunken giggles and cheesy banter. “I had a fun time tonight. Apologies accepted.” Y/N said, unlocking the door to her home.
“Glad to know that. I couldn't have lived knowing you hate me,” Dean teased, “I had a good time as well. I really needed a break from work.”
“So you do accept that you work too much?”
“Agree to disagree.” He shrugged, leaning against the doorway, “Night, Y/N.”
She walked up to the man and pecked his cheek, making his eyes go wide at the sudden affection. He swallowed hard as she stared up at him with hooded eyes. Patting his arms lightly, she said, “Night, Dean, see you in the morning.”
“Only if you're running late.”
