we all wanna talk about coffeeshop aus but where are the restaurant aus. thinking about obikin working together in a high-end restaurant, sexual tension abound between them throughout every busy shift and customer crisis.

ex-felon linecook anakin and front of house manager obi-wan who consistently cleans up his messes yet refuses to see him as anything less than a perfect fit for their team. when anakin shows up late, when he misses work for court, when he starts a fight with a busboy, obi-wan’s always there with a gentle reprimand and a helping hand. funnily enough, the back of house manager mace should have handled and fired him months ago, yet the cook’s authority issues bend only to obi-wan with his kind smiles and masked disappointment, so mace gave up a long time ago and now immediately hands him off to foh.

after a frankly intrusive amount of gossip around the restaurant and a late night spent alone cleaning up the kitchen, anakin and obi-wan’s flirtations end up as all restaurant romances do: frantic fucking in the bathroom followed by many an awkward shift afterwards lol.
