My mom was complaining about Beyonce making a country album as revenge or smth and not bc she actually likes country music and she said she doesn't like Texas Hold Em and I was just like 😶🌫️😶🌫️ idk man I'm having fun
#i dont love the jolene cover :/#but she was talking about a bunch of drama and controversy like it was common knowledge#and as a fan of country music / casual observer of beyonce / person who does not listen to the radio / fairly engaged with pop culture#i hadnt heard any of it 😭 on either side#and personally .. I listened to the album without outside influence#and mostly liked it !!#ans im VERY picky and critical about country music#i wouldn't say its Classic Country like 90s george strait#but its not Bad New Country like bro country#its definitely pop/country but ?? thats ok! its fun! im having fun idk ! 😭
