I never realised how much hate was spread on Twitter since I don't have an account, but now that I have to handle our lab's page, even in academia, there is SO MUCH hate speech and violence. I'm not surprised but I'm honestly disgusted.

#i had to retweet about a conference a phd student is attending #and i saw a tweet about how WW1 fighters would be ashamed to see they died for people to be transgender 100 years later??? like wtf #how dare you say something like that not only it's completely unrelated bit it's so harmful and transgender people just didn't appear now #they've always existed... oh gosh inm SO MAD and it's only 10am #phd life
