Alexia sees you in her jersey for the first time.
18+
Seville had been a frustrating game. You could see it written all over Alexia's face. She had expected them to do better, as had everyone else. You knew that Alexia took their somewhat lackluster performance on personally. She's bore the brunt of the loss, and it would be up to you to make things right for her when the two of you got back.
You had signed to Arsenal to join Mariona and Laia, but an early season injury sent you back to Spain. There was a great medical staff in London, but they weren't the people you were used to. Besides, it was easier to be close to Alexia as you worked on your recovery. She was one of the few people who could keep you out of your own head.
"I'm going to head into the shower, you're welcome to join me," you said. Alexia just brushed it off, choosing to flop back onto the couch and watch game highlights instead. You huffed and puffed a bit, but didn't try to get her to follow you. Shower sex wasn't in the cards for you, but you'd get Alexia when you got out. She was not going to spend all weekend cooped up on the couch when you were headed back to London for a physical in a few days.
Your shower was quick, and you were sure to use the shampoo, conditioners, and body washes that Alexia loved the most. You put on one of Alexia's jerseys from last season that was hanging up in the closet. All she had wanted for years was to see you in a Barcelona jersey, but you had refused. The Barca girls were your friends, and you'd always support them, but when it came to Spanish teams, you were a Madrid girl.
"Ale, baby, will you come here please!" you called out into the apartment. Alexia sighed heavily as she paused the video she was watching to come check on you. Alexia hadn't been sure what to expect, but you very obviously wearing just one of her jerseys as you sat on the bed was not at all it. "What's the matter? Are you still in your head because of the game?"
"Is that my shirt?" Alexia asked as she hooked her finger into the collar. You nodded as you began to turn around so that she could see her name and number on the back. "Fuck, do you have any idea how hot you are right now?"
"You can shut up, pin me down, and show me," you told her. Alexia didn't need any sort of prodding after that line. She grabbed onto your hips and dragged you backwards just enough so that her hips could easily press against your.
"This is how things always should have been. These colors look good on you, and you have no idea what it's doing to me to see you in my number with my name on your back." Alexia's fingers traced over the number and her last name as she spoke. "All of those adoring fans wearing my name, but you're the one that matters. You're the one that I want to see it on all the time."
"Ale," you whined as you pushed your hips back a bit. Alexia let her hands drift down from her jersey to tease you. You leaned forward just a bit, spreading your thighs to fully reveal yourself to Alexia. She licked her lips as she leaned over your body. You could feel her weight against your back, causing you to relax a little more.
"You want me so bad. I bet you'd lose your pretty little mind if I didn't touch you like this," Alexia said. You rocked back against her fingers, moving just enough to help her penetrate you. "You're soaked, and I haven't done anything. Did you get so wet watching me? Tell me how long you've been waiting for this."
"Ale, I always want you. I've been waiting all day for you to touch me like this. You know how you were teasing me this morning, I can't help it." The hand on your hip tightened at your words. Alexia slowly began to move you back and forth on her fingers, watching as your cunt eagerly took them in.
"Fuck yourself on my fingers. Show me how bad you want me," Alexia told you. Her grip on your hips stayed, but she stopped pulling you back against her fingers. You moved at a steady pace, adjusting your speed as your body began craving more. Alexia bit her lip as she watched you, not paying attention to where her fingers was, but rather her name and number on your back.
You were starting to get close when you felt Alexia lean over your back. Her lips pressed several kisses on the side of your neck as her fingers curled inside of you. She could feel every little spasm of the muscles inside of you, squeezing around her fingers. The hand on your hip drifted around so that Alexia could rub your clit, pushing you completely over the edge.
"Stay like this, let me soak it in," Alexia whispered in your ear as she leaned back. You were still on your stomach with your back turned to Alexia. She ran her fingers over her number a few more times before she finally turned you over and kissing you. "I love you."
"I love you too," you mumbled as you pulled her in for another kiss. Alexia stayed on top of you, cuddling up against your side. You wrapped your arm around her waist to keep her still as the two of you decompressed together. "Ale, can you get me some pants?"
"Absolutely not. I like you like this," Alexia whined. You turned your head to pout at her, and Alexia let out a little grumble as she went to get you underwear and a pair of sweatpants to sleep in. "You look good in my number."
"I had to do something to get you off the couch. I hate it when you sit there and sulk after games, especially when you win," you told her. Alexia looked like she was going to deny that she planned to sulk, but one look from you stopped that argument before it started.

Tomura Shigaraki X reader
“Stupid Questions.”
You were sitting on the bed, your back rested on the backboard. Tomura laid in between your tights as he played his most rageful games.
"Tomu..." you softly spoke as you twirled and played with his soft puffy hair.
He groaned as he felt your gentle fingers play with his locks, but he didn't dare move. In his mind he was more focused on the game, and he did not want to lose.
"..What..?"
"Can I ask you a question?..." you almost whispered as you looked down on him.
He grumbled under his breath as you questioned him mid-game. He felt annoyed, but he decided to answer in the end.
"What."
"What do you like about me?.." you spoke out as your heart thumped patiently waiting to hear what he had to say.
The question surprised him as he paused his game, giving you a side-eye glance.
He remained silent for a few seconds as if thinking, before he finally spoke.
'...Why do you ask...?"
He tried to maintain his usual emotionless demeanor, but the fact he paused the game spoke volumes on his genuine curiosity.
"just wondering..." your took a strand of his hair as you twirled it letting it go to turn into a somewhat curly spiral
He watched you play with his hair, your soft touch feeling nice on his head, and his usual stoic expression softened a bit.
"...Don't ask me stupid questions when I'm in the middle of a game."
He grumbled, his focus shifting to the game as he un-paused and continued playing.
"Oh..." your heart stopped thumping fast as your lips quivered,
"right..." you replied as you looked up to see him play to distract your mind instead.
He could feel your disappointment, and a tinge of guilt tugged at him. He was never one for sweet words, but he hated the thought of disappointing you in any way.
He took a sidelong glance at you, noticing your sad expression, which made him feel even more guilty. He grumbled under his breath, hesitating before he finally spoke again.
"I like... how gentle you are with me."
Your face quickly lid up , You tried to hide your happiness at his response as you looked down at him waiting to hear what else he had to say.
He felt a subtle blush creeping across his cheeks, uncharacteristic for him. He was clearly not used to this but continued nonetheless, trying to keep up his indifferent appearance.
"You... You know how to deal with me when I'm angry, you... don't push me too hard, and you..."
He stumbled over his words for a moment, searching for what to say next.
“..You know how to deal with me and you... tolerate my bullshit."
He muttered, his usual stoic veneer cracking a bit. He hated being vulnerable like this, but he also hated not giving you what you wanted.
He kept his eye on the game, avoiding your gaze.
If it was anymore possible your lips widen at his words, it felt nice being told that he liked about you...it was rare to see this side of Tomura... and you love it.
He could feel your eyes on him, and it was driving him insane. He hated being scrutinized like this, it made him feel vulnerable and exposed.
He wanted to look at you, but at the same time he didn't. He was torn between his usual grumpy indifference and wanting to give you the attention you wanted.
He grumbled under his breath, his grip on the game controller tightening.
'..Stop looking at me like that."
"Can't help it..."
His breath hitched at your response. He tried to maintain his composure, but he could feel his heart racing as he heard the playful tone in your voice.
He kept his focus on the game, but he was starting to lose his concentration. He was now more focused on how you were looking at him, and it was making him feel all sorts of things he didn't expect.
'..You're such a pain in the ass."
He grumbled, his hands feeling slightly sweaty against the controller.
"You wanna know what I like about you?"
You hummed as you took your eyes off him and watched him play.
He huffed in annoyance, but he was still paying attention to your words. He continued playing, albeit more distracted now due to your question.
He didn't respond, but he gave a small nod, indicating for you to continue.
"I like your protective...." You hummed with a smile plastered on you as you cupped his cheeks softly enough to not distract him.
His shoulders tensed slightly as you cupped his cheeks, but he leaned into your touch all the same. His heart thudded in his chest at your words, and he had to force himself to keep his focus on the game.
He grumbled under his breath, his cheeks feeling warm against your hand.
'Keep going."
You softly giggled at his words but even so you continued.
"I like it when although you're mad you still tell me to be careful or to take care when you have to go and never let me sleep upset..." your thumbs rubbed softly at his cheeks.
He tried to act nonchalant, but he couldn't stop himself from blushing. His face was turning redder by the second as you continued to praise him, and he could feel his heart beating faster and faster.
He grumbled under his breath, trying to disguise his growing embarrassment as irritation.
"...Shut up."
He muttered as he tried to concentrate on the game, but his fingers were starting to slip on the controller.
He was getting more and more flustered as you continued to praise him, and he couldn't help but feel a mix of annoyance and affection towards you. He knew he should pretend like he didn't care, but deep down he was loving every second of this.
"I love it when you act like you don't care if I'm upset or disappointed... but you still do little acts to cheer me up..." you giggled at the thought.
Tomura's heart thumped wildly in his chest at your words. He loved and hated the fact that you knew him so well. He tried to act like your praise meant nothing to him, but it was clear that it was affecting him greatly.
He tried to keep his focus on the game, but his fingers were now trembling slightly, and he was having a hard time controlling his character.
He grumbled under his breath, blushing even harder now.
'..Don't make me sound soft."
"Oh-!..I also love how cute you look while sleeping...when you pull me in to be closer...your face resting in between my chest."
You laughed as you continued rubbing on his cheeks looking down at his focused eyes on the game.
His face felt like it was on fire. No one had ever seen him like this before, and he was starting to feel overwhelmed.
He was struggling to retain his usual calm composure as you described how he acted when he was vulnerable, and it was making it all the harder to concentrate on the game.
He grumbled again, his voice betraying a hint of embarrassment.
'..Knock it off. I'm trying to play a damn game here."
As you fell silent, he finally had the chance to regain his focus. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heartbeat. He was slowly starting to regain control of the game, but he couldn't completely ignore your presence next to him.
He could still feel your eyes on him, and he knew you were probably still smiling.
It was both annoying and endearing, and he wasn't sure how to feel about it.
He continued playing, but he was more aware of you than he was of the game itself.
"I love you.." you whispered softly as you watched him play
Tomura's fingers froze on the controller at your words. He wasn't used to hearing those words, and it always caught him off guard. He grumbled under his breath, feeling his cheeks heating up again.
He tried to act unfazed and continued playing the game, but his heart was racing.
He wanted to say the same, but the words just wouldn't come out. He was too embarrassed and too stubborn to admit it out loud. Instead, he just grumbled under his breath again and focused on the game, silently hoping you knew how he felt.
He continued playing the game, his mind preoccupied with your words. Your confession had left him feeling a mix of emotions, and he was having a hard time processing it all.
He kept his eyes fixated on the screen, but he was no longer really focused on the game. Instead, he was more aware of your presence next to him, the feel of your hands on his cheeks, and the sound of your voice.
He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice his character dying on the screen until it was too late.
"God damn it..." he cursed as the game over screen appeared. He grumbled under his breath and tossed the controller aside in annoyance, turning his attention back to you.
He looked up at you, his expression a mixture of annoyance and embarrassment.
You leaned down and nuzzled your nose with his,
"it's okay..." you whispered before pressing your lips against his to calm his frustrations
Tomura's heart nearly skipped a beat as your nose nuzzled against his. He was about to say something snarky, but your quick action shut him up instantly.
He froze for a moment, his mind going blank as he felt the softness of your lips against his. The shock of it all caught him off guard, and he couldn't even react at first.
He was still in a daze from your unexpected kiss, but he instinctively leaned into your touch as you played with his hair. The soothing feeling of your fingers against his scalp was calming, and he found himself relaxing against your thighs.
He closed his eyes, a subtle hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
He tried to stay grumpy and act like this didn't affect him, but deep down, he was secretly loving every minute of it.
He lay there, letting you play with his hair and enjoying the feeling of your fingers caressing his scalp. He was tempted to say something snarky, but he didn't want to ruin the moment.
Instead, he just lay there in silence, his heart racing and his mind swirling with conflicting emotions. On one hand, he was annoyed at how easily you had disarmed him. On the other hand, he was grateful for the comfort and attention you were giving him.
"I love you..." you repeated your words,
Tomura's eyes opened at the sound of your voice, his heart skipping a beat as you repeated those three words. He hated how hearing those words from you made him feel so vulnerable, but at the same time, he couldn't deny that he loved it.
He grumbled under his breath, but this time, his usual bite wasn't there.
"...! love you too..." he muttered quietly, his voice barely audible.

Hey hey!!! Saw you opened asks- so I wanted to send my love and appreciation for everything you do💕💕
Maybe a reverse of “You Blurt Out Who’s Your Favorite” , where the chain accidentally say that reader is their favorite? Silly pining ensues. (You don’t have to do this as always. Have a good day 💕)
Sure thing, Anti! I hope you have a good day too! <3 :D
Masterlist
Immediate Reader, boys under the cut!
"I am the best!"
"In your dreams!"
"The greatest!
"Uh-huh."
You snorted as the boys all ragged on each other. Typical sibling behavior.
They were all playing the game of 'Who is the greatest? Certainly not you.' And you were trying really hard to not make it seem like you were paying attention to their shenanigans.
"Well, Malon likes me more!"
"No way! I'm her favorite."
Screw it you're joining this.
"I am the favorite!" All eyes turn to you as you smirk.
"....I doubt that."
You laugh and cross your arms. "I have yet to be proven wrong."
"Well you're certainly mine."
***
Legend
Legend crosses his arms as he rolls his eyes. He sees the group look to him and huffs. "I mean, honestly- Hello? Have you met them? They're easily the odd man out here."
"Ok." You deadpan. "Rude."
"Which means-" Legend flicks your forehead non too gently. "-that you're not as annoying or willing to throw us all off of a cliff."
"That was one time!" Wild shouts from the back.
"Well regardless, I can trust them to get the work done with out having to pick up the slack." Legend admires the ring on his fingers, acting nonchalant about the whole thing.
Some of the boys all seem to shuffle nervously on their feet. they seem to know what he's talking about.
This catches your attention. "Wait- hold on. When was this? What happened?"
Legend grins, looking like the cat that caught the canary. "A while ago. You were too busy doing your part to notice that we had been left to get rid of the rest of the monsters."
That last part was pointed. And you don't think his bombastic side eye was helping matters.
Ok. So Legend was holding a grudge. That's good to know.
You cleared you throat and rubbed the back of your neck. "So... that makes me your favorite?"
"Especially so." Legend turns back to you. His expression almost changes in a full 180. Before it looked at if his glare could have set them all ablaze but now his gaze is almost... soft. Tender, even.
Your breath gets stuck in your throat and you're shocked that you're even beginning to feel flustered by it. "....Don't mention it."
"I haven't." Legend winks and you bite your lip, losing your nerve and looking away. "But I don't mind bringing it up that you've been most helpful."
"Ugh, gross, he's flirting." Wind groans and shoves his way between the two of you, breaking the moment in twain. "Get a room! We don't need to see it!"
"I wasn't flirting-"
"That wasn't-"
'Yeah, yeah..." Wind blows a raspberry, making some of the others boys snicker. "Whatever helps you sleep at night."
Twilight
"Thank you." You grin and happily start walking with a spring in your step.
Twilight seems to pause, letting his words sink into his head. The others rapidly catch on that he hadn't intended to say that out loud, but you seem none the wiser and actually quite pleased with this revelation.
You skip ahead and even go as far as to loop your arm with his. "I think you're pretty neat too, Twilight."
He coughs and rub the back of his neck with his free hand, letting you hold his dominant arm hostage. It's not like he's complaining. "I'm glad."
Hyrule snickers on the side lines and Twilight finds it in himself to send him a particularly nasty look. Over your head, naturally, so you don't see and don't get the hint that some of the other boy seem persistent to drop in his stead.
You drop your grip on his arm to hold his hand instead, swinging your hands together as you all walk. "Good to know that I'm the favorite over all."
"That can't be it." Legend says with a smirk on his face.
Twilight growls. "Shut it-"
"Twilight said so. You all heard it." You fire back, ignoring Twilight's words. "I am the favorite."
"Mhm." Time hums in agreement. "I don't see why not."
"Old man." Twilight stresses the nickname, pleading as wordlessly as he can to let the subject drop and let him live.
You finally look up to him with a tilt of your head. "Were you lying?"
Panic stabs his heart and he rips his hand away from you in shock as he tries to salvage the situation. Whatever it is he's trying to salvage anyway. "What?! No! Of course I wasn't lying! I think you're incredible!"
"Ok!" You grin as if nothing had happened and grab his hand again. "That's a relief. I wasn't going to say anything but you're my favorite too. So it all works out in the end."
Twilight flushes as you begin to drag him forward on the trail. "....I beg your pardon?"
"You're pardoned!" You start swinging your hands again. "Let's go!"
Time
You trip over your feet and snap your head to face the old man who hadn't even bothered to look in your direction.
Surprisingly, it was Twilight who spoke next. "...Well that doesn't very fair."
Time snorts but comments no further.
Part of you wants to beam in joy. And to rub it in the rest of the boy's faces.
That's high praise coming from Time and you all knew it.
There's a sudden pep in your step as you keep walking forward. "Ha! I'm Time's favorite. Na nana na~"
Time smirks and watches you with an amused smile. Wind groans dramatically and launches himself onto Time's arm. "But come on! We're all cool and nice and how come I'm not your favorite?"
"It's not that you're not my favorite." Time explains gently, chuckles as he pries Wind off of his arm with a particularly rough hair ruffle. "It's that they-" He points to you. "-don't make it their life mission to give me grey hairs before my time."
"You don't need our help to get grey hair, Old Man." Legend teases.
Time swipes at the hero playfully, letting him easily evade his grasp. "I'm fully aware. And yet you all seem keen on making it happen."
You laugh, feeling more proud of yourself than you probably should. It feels good, even if there's a little voice in your head that's telling you Time only said you were the favorite to tease the other heroes. Even if that were case, you can't bring yourself to mind it. You can tease the others about it as well!
Twilight seems particularly put out and you make it a point to stick your tongue out at him out of childish pettiness.
Twilight catches on and pouts harder, sticking his tongue out at you in return- right for Time to clock him in the back of his head. "Easy, Pup."
"They started it!" Twilight cries petulantly.
"I'm ending it." Time gets a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "Besides, I didn't hear them arguing with you lot about who was the greatest among you."
You put your hands on your hips. "I am quite awesome though, aren't I?"
Time sighs. "A mark of a true hero is humility." He flicks your forehead. "But yes- you are awesome."
Sky
"Awww... Sky, that's so sweet!" You put your hand to your heart and grin at the suddenly bashful boy.
"Ah- well... You're welcome."
Hyrule laughs and slugs him on the shoulder. "You didn't intend to say that out loud, did you?"
"Nope." Sky scratches the back of his head.
"That's ok." You pat his back, feeling a little better about your own ego. "I think that makes it all the better."
"...Right..." Sky smiles a little tensely, seeming a little more nervous than he's willing to let know.
"Wait-" Warrior raises an eyebrow. He says your name questioningly. "Who's your favorite?"
"Oh! Hyrule."
"Huh?"
"Yup." You give Sky a wink while the other boys start rapidly firing questions. Not because they want to know why Hyrule, but they want to know why not them.
You know, like the children they are.
Sky relaxes a little bit when you walk forward to keep the attention of off him and onto yourself, giving him enough time to collect himself and then wonder if you wee serious or not.
So... you didn't technically help him despite your efforts, but you don't have to know where his head space is at.
"...You were serious, weren't you?" Hyrule says in a quite voice. "Did you mean that as in more than just being a favorite?"
"...So when I say I didn't intend to say that out loud-"
"Sky, oh my god."
"I know."
"You even looked them in the eye-!"
"I know!"
"..."
"..."
"....My condolences."
"Don't remind me." Sky groans, hiding his face in his hands.
Warrior
Everyone freezes before all heads slowly turn to him.
Your jaw drops in total shock. Of all people to say something in this context, in that manner, he was would have been at the bottom of the list.
Warrior raises a cool eyebrow, daring to smirk as the cherry on top.
No body makes a move, almost afraid to break the tedious atmosphere around the group and once rowdy boys.
You clear your throat, garnering the attention for yourself against your wishes. You however, keep your gaze on Warrior. The son of a gun winks.
You flush and feel the need to clear your throat again. You were trying to be sarcastic and facetious. You weren't expecting a genuine response. At least you think he's being serious. The silence certainly doesn't help you get your nerve back.
"Moving on." Warrior turns on his heel and begins to walk away, leaving you all in the wake of his cutting sentence.
You try to meet the eyes of the other but they're all looking at you for your reaction instead.
You throw up your hands in a desperate attempt to get the attention off of yourself. "I didn't tell him to say that!"
"Of course not." Warrior has the gall to speak once more on the topic. "But that doesn't make it any less true."
"You-!" You shout, unintentionally being louder than you intended. "SHUT! Not a peep out of you!"
Warrior gets a gleam in his eye that spells trouble for you later. He grins even wider and blows you a kiss.
You have half the mind to throw something at him.
Wild leans up next to you and bumps your shoulder with his. You turn to him in a desperate attempt to hide your shame. His eyebrows dance in a knowing fashion and you give completely. Shoving the Champion as far aware from you as you can, you also begin to get a move on for the day.
The others boys laugh quietly around you, amused at the turn of events.
"I hate all of you."
"No you don't!" Someone gleefully calls back to you.
"Why don't tell that to Warrior?" Four teases.
You plan revenge on him specifically. Instead of following through with that however, you speed up to catch up to Warrior.
"Am I really your favorite?" You find yourself saying before you could stop yourself.
Warrior chuckled. "Of course. Have I ever lied to you?'
"Well..." He has a point there. You take a deep breath. "No."
"Well, there you have it."
Four
"Are you serious?" Wind pouts. "I thought it was Time."
"Nope." Four puts his hands on his hips. "And unlike some people, I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I said it and I'll say it again. They're my favorite person here. Any one that disagree has to come up with some pretty convincing evidence to make me change my mind?"
You beam and feel yourself bubble up with happiness. You bounce on the balls of your feet and clap happily. "Yay! I'm Four's favorite!"
You turn to Sky excitedly, pointing in his face. "Eat it!"
He gives you a startled look before he starts laughing under his breath.
Four snorts and shakes his head. "Any objections?"
Most of the boys shake their heads, amusement twinkling in their eyes. Four grins as well and shrugs. "I guess we're done here."
You giggle like a maniac as everyone starts falling back into line, the conversation ending then and there with Four's declaration.
You on the other hand, feel like that you've gotten the ego boost of a life time. You're not entirely sure why. Being Four's favorite went straight to your head and elevated your mood to a whole other level.
"This is the greatest achievement of my life." You say, not entirely sarcastic as you wanted to sound. "I think I can die happy now."
"I didn't think it would make you this happy." Four noticed you bouncing on cloud nine. "Do you think I'm that special that it's so important to be my favorite?"
You pause and blush softly. A beat passes with all eyes on you and you decide to bite the bullet. "Of course I do. You're also my favorite person."
"Person?" Wild catches your slip up.
You snap your head to him and stick your tongue out. "Don't even start. I said what I said. I won't take it back."
You turn back to Four and see him giving you the softest smile. Your heart starts pounding in your chest. Oh. That's new. You finds yourself smiling back.
"Get a room!!" Warrior drops his hand to your head, nearly throwing you to the ground as he ruffles your hair. Twilight does the same to Four, ruining the moment.
"Hey-! Get off!" You shout and shove the hero away.
"Twilight, watch it!"
Wind
You snap your head in the direction of the voice and feel a wide grin cover your face. "Well thank you very much, Pirate."
You reach over and ruffle his hair roughly, playfully throwing off his balance as he yells and tries to fight you off without making it into a legitimate fight.
"Ok, ok, take it easy you two." Time steps in, taking your hand off of the boy with a light chuckle on his breath.
"That's it." You say, meeting the rest of the group with a wild gleam in your eye. You aim to start trouble. "Wind is officially my favorite too. The rest of you stink."
"Oh, come on. Be nice." Wild snickers, throwing his arms round your shoulders to shake you just as playfully. "We all have our good moments. Why does Wind get the sudden promotion?"
"Well you literally stink." You jokingly, pinch your nose and throw him off of you. "Come on, Wind."
You turn around, sticking your tongue out at all the other as they snicker at Wild's offended face. Wind was laughing loudly, happily taking your outstretched hand when you offered it.
"Let's go to the front of the group where all the cool kids hang out."
"Ok!" He giggles, swinging your hands together as you start to walk a little faster to get ahead of everyone else.
"Are we just going to let them get away with this?" Wild shouts, having his pride wounded by your throw away comment.
"I mean..." Sky shrugs.
"Seriously?!"
"They're not wrong." Warrior snort, gently knocking the back of the Wild's with the heel of his wrist. "Maybe change your clothes every once and a while."
"You're one to talk." Wild grumbled, taking out his sheikah slate to look for something to wear. "I am not that bad."
You bite your lip to keep your amusement at bay and shrug as well. "If it's any consolation, Wild, you're not as bad as Twilight."
"I heard that!"
"You were supposed to!" Wind calls out for you and laughs loudly once more, pulling you along before taking off in a sprint. You looked behind you to see what happened, only to see Twilight chasing after you both.
"Wind, run!"
Hyrule
"Rulie', you gotta warn people before you say things like that." Wild chuckles as he knocks the Traveler in the back of the head in your stead while you stood staring at the boy agape.
"Sorry." He blushes and rubs the back of his head. "I couldn't stop myself fast enough."
"Wait- hold up." You find yourself saying. "....You mean it. Like... really really, you mean it. You wouldn't react that way if you didn't."
Hyrule coughs and bite his lips, bravely meeting you in the eyes. Goodness- you didn't think you have a thing for him but that particular expression has all cylinders firing off in your brain at once. You didn't even know he could pull that kind of look off. And he's not even trying!! It's not that kid fo context!
"Yup... I uh-... Well, there's nothing wrong with admitting it, right?"
"Rulie' I thought we had something." Legend dramatically put his hand to his heart, falling with his full weight onto the other hero. "The betrayal is deep Hero of Hyrule."
"Get off of me!"
"Just twist the knife deeper while you're at it!"
You snort and quickly cover your mouth with your hands, horrified that sound escaped you so easily.
It catches Hyrule's attention easily.
In an attempt to clear yourself of the embarrassment, you lean heavily in your bravado and wink at the hero in front of you. Hyrule manages to throw Legend off of him but he suddenly can't look you in the eye.
Hey- it was to save yourself from the embarrassment, not him.
"Of course there's nothing wrong with it." You find yourself saying. You continue to lean into your bravado and put your hands on your hips. "You're my favorite too, Link. So don't worry about it."
"Wait, really?" He looks up back to you, with a light dusting of pink over his cheeks.
"Um- they said Link." Warrior throws his arm on Hyrule's head, using it as a head rest. "Clearly they meant me."
"They did not!" Wind jumps on Warrior's arm. "They meant me!"
You start laughing again and when your eyes meet Hyrule's once last time, you wink again for good measure.
You both know who you meant.
Wild
"Whoops, did I say that out loud?" Wild laughs awkward, bringing his hand to the back of his neck. He scratches it, worried about how all of the people in the group turn to look at him.
"Yes." Sky tilts his head, trying (and failing) to keep the smile off of his face. "Yes, you did."
"My bad." He coughs, clearing his throat in the process. He does nothing to clear the blush on his face.
"Really?" You whisper, feeling your heart swell.
Wild bite his lip, turning on his heel. If he was trying to play it off and be inconspicuous, he's doing a horrible job of sweeping it under the rug. "Of course. Now- where were we?"
"No nono no no-" You grin wider and begin to chase the resident wild child. "You're not running away from this."
He actually takes off in a sprint.
You squawk, as do some of the other boy in the group before you decide to call his bluff and chase him as well. "Wild, get back here!"
"No, I'm good!" He shouts over his shoulder.
You nearly stop as you process your words before you decide to pick up the pace. You don't respond at first, too focused on closing the distance. You watch the hero as he runs, watching the steps he takes to copy them and not trip over the unfamiliar terrain.
He's not familiar with it either, but he seems to assimilate to any climate faster than anyone else you've ever seen.
Until he starts to slow down and looks behind him to see you running at him at full speed.
The scream he lets out is nothing short of comical and the brief second it took him to process and react to what he was was enough to allow you tackle him.
It doesn't work. He's too strong to be knocked over that easily but an attempt was made.
You laugh, feel as light as feather and very much out of breath. "Am I really your favorite?"
"Why did you chase me?!"
"That doesn't answer my question." You smile cheekily.
Wild pants and puts his hands on your shoulders, pushing you away from him so that he could look into your eyes. "...Yes."
"Perfect!" You kiss his cheek and start to run back to the group before either of you could get into trouble. "See you back at the group!"
"....What does that even mean?"

karma - auston matthews
notes: this is based off of @matthewshisch's idea (karma is the guy on the leafs)! so s/o to her <3 also, reader is a singer :)) AND gif not mine !
likes are good, reblogs are better!
being a celebrity meant that no matter what, one thing would always be a fixed thing in your life. and that was the rumours.
one week you were dating a new guy. the next, you were engaged to some kid from your hometown. the next week, you were back with your ex.
no matter what, the dating rumours always flew around you. maybe the fact that you never made it public with anyone fuelled those even more. whatever the case, it was funny reading them.
especially when you thought about what you had planned for tonight.
a knock sounded on your door, followed by a familiar voice, "did someone order some flowers?"
you couldn't help the smile growing on your face as you made eye contact with auston in the mirror.
you were in your dressing room at the stadium, getting ready for the opening night of your multi-month tour. you'd worked hard to get to where you were now -- one of the most successful female artists in the world.
and right there by your side, supporting you for the past year, was none other than auston matthews, your boyfriend. you'd met at a leafs game years ago, but he'd only reached out to you just over a year before. ever since then, the two of you kept your relationship under wraps for the most part, doing your best to just enjoy your time together without the media's comments.
you'd talked about going public before, but for the most part, decided to let life take it's course. of course... tonight would be a pretty big surprise.
"hi, you made it," you got up from your chair, sinking into his arms for a hug.
"i wouldn't miss this for the world," he responded, placing a kiss to the top of your head. "it's my girl's big day. first tour in almost three years. nothing's gonna stop me from being here."
you grinned stupidly to yourself, finding auston's words so comforting and sweet. even after a whole year, he managed to make you feel giddy.
"i'm really happy you're here," you whispered, pulling away. "oh! i've got a surprise for you, but i can't give it to you right now. i'll give it after, okay?"
"a surprise for me?" auston repeated. "it's your day."
"hush, i wanted to do it," you said.
another knock sounded on your door, and your assistant, jenny, poked her head in. "y/n, we've got to start in ten. let's go. auston, mark's got your seat saved. head over quick, or someone'll spot you."
"that's not a big deal," auston waved it off. "if someone spots me, they spot me. it's not the end of the world."
"well, fact remains, we need y/n right now," she said. "c'mon, you can have her back when she's done her show."
"i'll see you soon," you kissed auston, before following jenny out to your position.
you adjusted your earpiece, waiting for the lights to dim. as soon as they did, the platform you were standing on moved higher, allowing you to enter directly on stage.
the lights turned back on, and the crowd went wild.
"let the show begin," you whispered to yourself.
---
"'cause karma is the thunder," you sang, "rattling your ground. karma's on your scent like a bounty hunter. karma's gonna track you down."
the crowd waved their flashlights in the air, following you as you continued dancing to the beat of the song, singing along. getting closer and closer to the surprise you planned for auston.
"step by step from town to town," you continued. "sweet like justice, karma is a queen. karma takes all my friends to the summit..."
you paused for half a second, allowing production to ready themselves and for the crowd to pay attention to the small change.
"karma is the guy on the leafs, coming straight home to me!"
you stomped on the mark, blue sparklers going off on either side of the stage -- matching with the colour of your dress and the leafs' colours.
the crowd screamed as you continued your performance, losing their minds at the confirmation that you and auston were dating.
"cause karma is my boyfriend," you locked eyes with auston in the crowd, noticing him smiling widely to himself as people nearby recorded the interaction. winking at him, you continued your song, "karma is a god."
the crowd continued chanting throughout the song, no one truly getting over the lyric change you'd done.
you had a feeling there were gonna be rumours about this for a while.

Relationships: Joel Miller x Reader
Warnings: Like AO3 I choose to give none. Read at own risk. 18+… this is to avoid spoilers! (So here is my first fic update since having Lando! I hope this was worth the wait and I can't wait to hear what you all think. There is some time hopping in this chapter but it's all necessary. Enjoy ♥️)
Series Masterlist - Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6
The words hung in the air between you. Swirling around in his head as he processed that he was sitting at a table with you after all this time. That you were smiling softly at him, not growling at him in frustration because he’d gotten on your nerves for the final time.
“Tommy told me that you ended up going back to the hospital after you left that day and I-“
“You mean the day you tossed me out?” He interrupted, surprised by how he suddenly felt 10 years of anger surge to the surface.
“Joel I-“
“I don’t need your sorries.” He stated plainly and you nodded numbly “What I needed then was for you to see how badly I was doing but you couldn’t.”
He couldn’t say he blamed you really. You were facing life with a partner who was never going to walk again whilst you had to raise his toddler and the newborn baby you shared.
‘Dwelling on the past isn’t going to change it so let's just agree to move on.” He piped up after a tense pause and he could have laughed at how your shoulders dropped and you allowed yourself to relax.
You both sat in awkward silence for a while before Joel finally broke it. His question brought a proud smile to your face.
“Noah’s turned out to be a fine young man.” He stated as he took a sip of his coffee “Sarah’s besotted with him.”
“He’s just like his father.” You gushed “Patient and kind.” You continued as you looked down at the wedding band and engagement ring that you still wore “He’d never said a cross word to me till recently. Learning that he and Sarah had been inseparable as babies was tough on him.
“He pleaded with me to reach out to you but I confess… I didn’t think you’d want to speak to me after everything.”
“I never stopped caring.” Joel stated honestly “I have spent the last decade blaming myself for that crash… it should have been me that-“
“Please don’t finish that sentence.” You pleaded as you stared at him with round, tear-filled, eyes “The accident was not your fault! The truck driver is the one to blame for what happened and it was wrong of me to blame you.” You let out a long sigh before taking a large sip of coffee before continuing “I was pregnant and hormonal and facing having to care long-term for my partner as well as raise a toddler and a newborn.
“Life looked bleak and I just needed someone to blame… but I shouldn’t have blamed you.” You choked out, voice wobbling as you spoke that last statement.
Joel remained silent. Watching you as you pulled yourself together before continuing.
“I should have seen that you weren’t well, you're right.” You started again after a few tense moments of silence “After Tommy told me what happened… my mind started to replay everything and it was so obvious that something was wrong. I should have seen it… not shut you out so I could wallow in my own misery.”
“I get it… I do-“
“But it doesn’t excuse it, Joel.” You interrupted “I should have done better by you and I’m sorry.”
Joel nodded. Giving you a small smile before downing the last dregs of his coffee.
“Well… now that all the tense formalities are out of the way… shall we get another coffee and catch up properly?” He asked with a grin, instantly lifting the mood.
“That would be wonderful.”
2 months later…
Joel watched from the patio as Noah and Sarah played a heated game of swing ball, Ali watching from the sidelines as she cheered her brother on. Tommy was at the grill, having promised Joel that he could ‘cook some damn burgers’, leaving the older Miller to watch the two childhood sweethearts play. Memories of a little Noah showing an even smaller Sarah how to throw a ball flashed in his mind. They had always played so well together.
Some things never change it seemed.
Joel’s attention was torn away from Sarah and her beau and towards you, as you placed the salad and condiments in the centre of the table.
“Foods up!” Called Tommy and soon the table was filled with chatter as everyone dug in.
It felt like old times. Only, someone was missing.
Once the food was consumed and the dishes dealt with, Sarah, Ali and Noah slunk away to read their books under the tree at the bottom of Joel's garden, leaving you, Joel and Tommy to sip at your cold beers and catch up.
"How's things been with you?" Tommy asked you as he turned to face you. It was something that you had always liked about Tommy. When he was talking to you he gave you his undivided attention and never butted in when you spoke. Something that Alec and his family had always done that had driven you to distraction... But never the Miller boys. They always listened to what you had to say.
"Yeah, they're good." You nodded as you replied and placed your bottle on the table "Starting to meld well with the nice team. Making some friends too which is nice."
"Any hot men in the office catch your eye?"
Tommy's question took you by surprise and you couldn't help but glance at Joel a moment before you answered. He was looking anywhere but you and Tommy as they both awaited your answer and you felt a small pang of hope fill you. Why, you weren't sure.
"Not really looking for anything at the moment." You said, shrugging your shoulders "Been so focused on work and the kids the last few months that I haven't really thought about what comes next."
Your eyes drifted to Noah and Ali who were talking animatedly about, you assumed, something that had happened in the books they were holding. Both had ended up bookworms like their dad, something you were glad of as they had grown up. Buying them books to distract them from the reality of how sick Alec had been.
"Plus Alec hasn't been gone long. Would be wrong for me to just move on."
"You're entitled to be happy." Tommy stated plainly as he gave you that signature Miller look "He would want you to live life to the fullest. Lord knows you've earned that."
"I guess." You shrugged.
Truth be told, since coming back into the Miller's lives your feelings for Joel had started to stir again. He had turned out to be an incredible father, not that you had doubted him for a second but he had been forced to take on parenthood completely on his own when you had left. Ali's parents had died a few years after the accident leaving Joel with just Tommy for family but he had been in the army. So he had to take it all on by himself and he had flourished. Sarah was a kind, polite and caring young girl and the spitting image of her mother. Something that had made you both happy and sad. Happy, that she had turned out so beautiful, but sad because there wasn't a day that went by that you didn't miss Ali. So much so that you had named your own daughter after her.
"How about you brother?" Tommy asked, taking the attention off of you "How's things been with that chick you're dating?"
"We've been on like two dates Tommy." Joel sighed but his brother shrugged.
'Still dating her." He chuckled as he took a long pull of his beer "Given her the Miller magic yet?" Joel choked on his beer as the words settled between you and your stomach sank.
He was dating?
Of course, he was dating. He was an attractive young man, why wouldn't he? Yet this information felt like a punch to the gut. You knew you had no right to feel this way about Joel seeing someone yet it was a fight to keep the tears at bay. You would later realise as you analysed your feelings over a large glass of wine at home that a small part of you had always held onto the hope that one day, you and Joel may have had your chance.
That after all these years, he would realise how you felt and would return those feelings. You would later realise that that was a fool's hope.
You had broken things beyond repair with Joel all those years ago.
There was no hope for the two of you now. There was no way he felt the same way about you.
Oh if only you knew.
You had found yourself quickly falling into old traditions with the Millers. Regular gatherings at Joels where food and laughter are shared only this time Noah and Sarah weren't babies anymore. You found yourself missing their antics. Howthey used to hide behind the wooden castle climbing frame that Joel had built Sarah before she'd even made her entrance to the world. They would crouch behind it and giggle, thinking no one knew they were there and you would all chuckle at them and how perfect together they were. Even from such a young age.
You had found yourself wondering if Joel had ever thought about having more kids. He was still young after all, having had Sarah in his early twenties same as you had had Ali so young yourself. You had definitely thought that there would have been more children in your future but Alec's health hadn't allowed for that and so that dream of another baby had died along with him.
When Sandy had stepped into the fold, you had had your question of whether Joel wanted more kids answered from the moment she'd opened her mouth at the annual pre-Christmas get-together. She was young, late twenties and perky. Both physically and personality-wise.
She had sat there for hours talking about how she had no interest in having kids. That she liked them but that it had never appealed to her personally. You had asked Joel if he had thought about having any more to which he'd replied "Nah, one and done for me."
It had shocked you how blasé he had been about the subject and it had stung you. Why, you weren't sure but you supposed its because you had secretly hoped you'd have one with him one day.
Now though, that pipedream seemed an impossibility that Sandy was in the picture. You hated her for it...
You knew you had no reason to. She was sweet. There didn't appear to be a bad bone in her body but she grated on your nerves with her big eyes and sickly sweet smiles.
Your feelings for Joel may have had some bearing on your opinion of her you supposed.
Those pesky feelings had only continued to grow the more time you spent with Joel. You and he would alternate some nights during the week for dinners or movie nights. Ali and Sarah had become fast friends, something you had worried would irritate Noah now that his relationship with Sarah seemed to have developed a third wheel but on the contrary, he seemed to welcome her.
They still managed to find time to spend together without his sister hanging around but he didn't begrudge her presence when she was there. He'd always been a great big brother to her.
But now it seemed that you had become the third wheel in Joel's relationship with Sandy. These once peaceful evenings had been overtaken by her loud personality but Joel seemed to lap it up, completely oblivious to how you were starting to pull away. Unable to watch them be so sickeningly happy.
It all came to a head three months later. Unable to keep up the fake smiles any longer.
"So, I found a new taco recipe I want to try for Taco Tuesday this week." Joel stated as he dried the last dish and placed it on the drying rack beside the sink "Churizo with fried potatoes, avocados, onions and Cilantro... Read it in a magazine this week and I knew I had to try it."
"Sounds good." You answered numbly as you picked up the last few dried plates and cutlery to put away "I'm sure the kids will love it."
"You okay?" Joel asked upon sensing your tone.
"Mhmm." You knew your reply wasn't fooling anyone.
"Okay, what's up?" He asked, letting out a sigh as he turned his whole body to face you, rested his hip against the counter and crossed his arms, accentuating his strong arms and broad shoulders.
"Nothing it's just... I won't be able to make Taco Tuesday this week. Or movie night on Thursday." You replied, not looking at him as you spoke.
"Okay, I'll save that recipe for next week then."
"I can't go next week either." You replied bluntly and his brows furrowed as he looked across at you.
"Why not?"
"I'm going to be busy the next few weeks is all."
"Few weeks?" He questioned and you simply nodded.
"Yeah."
"Care to look at me whilst you lie to me?" He growled and you let out a long sigh before returning his gaze.
"I'm not lying to you, Joel." You growled "I have a lot going on with work so I won't be able to make our usual arrangements for a month or so.
"But the kids-"
"Can do all that shit without me." You replied, more snappy than you'd meant to.
"That shit?" Joel pushed, his tone sounding a little wounded "Is something going on? Did I do something?"
"No." You replied as you sighed loudly "You haven't done anything wrong."
It wasn't exactly a lie. His dating Sandy wasn't wrong. It just hurt you to watch.
Joel didn't push but he knew you weren't being honest with him. You had always been easy to read, wearing your heart on your sleeve for the world to see but he didn't understand why you were suddenly going cold on him. Things had fallen back into place so easily. He thought things were good. He didn't push it any further.
"You're still coming to the cook out week after next though right?" He asked and your heart broke at how hopeful he seemed.
"Yeah, I'll be there." You lied, hoping he would believe you and would drop it.
He seemed to buy it because his shoulders relaxed and he gave you a small smile. You smiled back but your stomach twisted painfully. You had two weeks to come up with a decent lie for why you couldn't make it. You knew it had to be believable or Joel would be around yours banging on your door and you knew you'd not be able to lie to him if that were to happen.
You left with Noah that evening barely gracing Joel or Sarah with a goodbye and it was from that that he knew something serious was up. Just didn't know how to find out.
...
Sandy had arrived a little after you had left. Cuddling on the couch, she instantly picked up on Joel's distracted state and didn't wait to question him on it. So he told her about how weird you had been that evening. How you'd suddenly become cold and closed off.
"I don't know what I've done." Joel sighed "She was just so off this evening and then she's suddenly telling me that she's going to be busy for the foreseeable and I just... I don't get it."
"Oh Joel, baby, you're such a typical bloke." Sandy chuckled sympathetically as she turned her top half to look at him "She's obviously got feelings for you."
"She doesn't have feelings for me." Joel scoffed "Don't be absurd."
"Why else would she suddenly stop hanging out with her friend the moment he meets someone?"
"I-"
"I've had my suspicions for a while but the last few times we've hung out it's been pretty clear that she's got feelings for you Joel."
"But she..."
"Would you like it if you had a crush on someone and their new beau was there all the time?" She asked and Joel sighed "I am happy to back off a little if you want to spend more time with her but I don't think she'll want to."
"She can't have feelings for me." He muttered and Sandy chuckled as she watched his mind whir.
"Perhaps you should go see her and find out." Sandy shrugged, smiling sweetly at Joel as he looked up at her "Give her some closure."
Joel parked across from your house before wiping his clammy hands on his jeans and willing his heart to slow. It had been a few days since that conversation with Sandy and what she'd told him played on repeat in his head. Did you really have feelings for him? He had never dared hope that maybe one day you would feel the same way he did.
He had been practising what he wanted to ask you all evening. He wasn't quite sure what he was going to do if it transpired that you did feel the same. He supposed he would cross that bridge when he came to it.
Tommy had agreed to watch Sarah for the evening so that he could come to speak to you. He wasn't sure how this was going to go but he had wanted the option to stay a little later if things went the way he hoped they might.
Finally, as he had willed his heart to slow, your door swung open and grabbed his attention. He watched as you stepped outside slightly, looking at someone who was out of Joel's eyeline. You were smiling at them as you spoke, words that he could not hear from the cab of his car but you seemed to smile shyly at whoever you spoke them to. He hoped that youwouldn't notice his truck parked across the street as he watched you from the shadows. His stomach twisted when a man he didn't recognise stepped into view and leaned closer so he could place a kiss on your lips.
A myriad of emotions flooded him at once. He felt a pang of despair fill him as he watched you say your farewells for this man, but it quickly morphed into anger as he watched the man get in his car and drive off.
You hadn't bailed on him because you have feelings for him. You bailed because you wanted to focus on your new boy toy. You'd rather spend time with someone you barely know over him and his family. You had other priorities now.
And Joel wasn't one of them.

We Come Back Every Time - Anakin Skywalker
A/N: I haven’t even watched Ahsoka, but all the clips of Anakin live rent free in my mind. Not gonna lie, this went in a completely different direction than I first imagined, but I’m not mad about it.
TS Prompt #4: Style
Pairing: Anakin Skywalker x Reader Word Count: 2.1k Synopsis: No matter how many times they say it's the last, Anakin and the reader always find each other coming back for more. (Warning: smut)
“And I should just tell you to leave, cause I know exactly where it leads, but I watch us go round and round each time.”
Midnight - the rain is pouring in Coruscant. The planet is weather controlled, and Anakin curses himself for not thinking to check it beforehand. But this far into the city, as far as he has come, he doesn't care.
His cloak is drenched by the time he arrives at your door. He knocks once. When the door opens, you are wearing pink pajamas and a scowl on your face.
"What are you doing here, Anakin?" you ask, tilting your head up to look at him, slowly, as if he is barely worth your time. The thought aggravates him in the special way that only you can.
"I know what we said last time," he says, his voice low.
"We said it was the last time," you say. Anakin laughs gently.
"And how many times have we done that?" he asks. You let out another annoyed sigh, but he sees the slight smile on your face. "Are you going to invite me in? I am dripping all over your hallway."
"You can come in but you can't stay," you say, swinging the door open. Anakin walks in, barely waiting for you to open it, because he already knows you will let him in.
"Oh, do you have other plans tonight?" he asks.
"It doesn't matter what my plans are," you say, walking into the living room after him. "We can't keep doing this, Anakin."
"Why?" he asks. He takes a step towards you, a smug smile on his face, but you turn away quickly.
"You took an oath, when you joined the Jedi. Each time we do this, you risk your place among the Order."
"Maybe I don't care about all that," he says, again moving closer to you, placing a hand at your waist. You look up at him with a disbelieving frown.
"Maybe I do," you say, and push him off gently. "I have my own future to worry about, too. My firm just took on another senator. If we got caught, it would be a scandal, and I could lose my job."
"We won't get caught. We haven't so far."
"It only takes once," you say with a sigh. He looks at you for a moment, then nods. He knows you're right. He's had this same conversation with himself each time he comes to your apartment.
"I'm sorry," he says.
"Don't be sorry," you say. And after a pause, "You look like you've had a long day."
"You could say that."
"Want to talk about it?" you ask, already moving to your bar cart to make him a drink. It's another rule violation, and he sees you pause for just a moment, but continue to make the drink.
"I had another activity in mind," he says. You let out a tut of laughter.
"Please don't sit on my couch," you say, stopping him in the motion. "You're wet."
"I noticed. If you want I can take this all off," he says, returning that smirk from earlier. You roll your eyes and swallow your own drink.
"How about just the cloak?"
"Sure," he says, slipping it off gracefully. Your eyes are on him, on the clothes that cling to his body. "Y/N?" he asks, and your eyes shoot up to his, caught.
"Yes?"
"See something you like?"
"You are so full of yourself," you say, rolling your eyes again.
"You think so?"
"I know so," you bite. Anakin smiles when he realizes you've moved closer to him.
"But you like it."
"I don't."
"You do."
"I don--"
"Just come here," he says lazily. You are breathing heavier, your chest rising and falling, and Anakin knows he's staring, too.
"You think you can just play these same games and I'll fall for it every time?"
"It's worked so far," he says. He's tired of waiting and takes a step towards you. You back up instinctually, and if he had any sense that you weren't completely into this he would walk away right now. But he knows that this is part of it, part of the dance the two of you do.
"You think you know me, but you--"
"Enough about what I think," Anakin says, moving so he's now directly in front of you. "What are you thinking right now?"
"I think you're incredibly cocky," you say, and he can see the hate flash over your face because it comes out in a breath. Anakin smiles, smiles because he knows, smiles in the way that makes you weak in the knees.
"I think for good reason," he says, his voice low. He takes a step and suddenly he's in front of you, towering over you. He looks down at you as your back hits the wall, and he can see the moment you no longer care about what's right and what's wrong. With a soft whine, you tilt your head and lock your lips with his.
Anakin devours you. His lips, tongue, teeth, all fight for dominance of your mouth as you squirm against him. The moans you make are fuel to him, fuel to keep going, to keep utterly destroying you.
There is a glass in your hand, and his Jedi instincts catch it before it shatters to the ground, your hands already pawing at his drenched shirt. He sets the glass on the bar cart and yanks open his shirt with a fist.
You pull away for air and look at his slick chest. There is hot desire in your eyes, and Anakin is of no mind to keep you waiting.
"If I take this all off, can we get on the bed?" he asks in a pant.
"Yes, fine," you say, kissing whatever part of him you can reach as he strips.
In a moment, he has you lifted in the air, your legs wrapped around him as he guides you towards the bedroom. He throws you down on the bed, and looks down at you in a surveying glance.
Your hair is spread out around you, your skin flushed. The pink pajamas you wear are wrinkled and half undone already, your warm skin peaking through the buttons.
"Isn't this so much better than arguing?" he asks lowly. You rise up on your elbows and look at him, disinterested.
"Are we doing this or not?" you ask.
"Oh, absolutely, I just needed to take you in first. Now that you've given in to what you want."
"Please shut up," you say. He laughs to himself as he crawls onto the bed, settling just above you, eye to eye.
"You seem angrier than usual," he says, his voice low. "I don't usually have to work this hard to convince you." As he speaks, his hand travels down your stomach, and slips into the waist of your pants. You breathe heavily when a finger of his slips beneath your underwear.
"It's nothing," you say, your voice heavy as his fingers works against you.
"Nothing?"
"That's what I said."
"I can stop, you know?" he teases, slowing his movements, but not removing his hand from you.
"You wouldn't."
"Tell me what's got you all worked up."
"You," you gasp.
"What about me?"
"Fuck, Anakin," you whine, writhing against him, "I don't want to talk."
"But it's so cute when you do, watching you struggle to keep your breathing even."
"You are an asshole, you know that?"
"I do. Tell me what's bothering you."
"I heard," you say, nearly crying as his forefinger circles the bud at the apex of your thighs. "That you've been seeing other girls."
"Seeing other girls?" he asks, a breath of a laugh. "I didn't peg you as the jealous type."
"More like I felt sorry for them."
"That's not what you felt."
"You don't know what I feel."
"I know what you're feeling right now," he says. His lips find the sensitive skin beneath your ear and your hips buck as he places a searing kiss. "Admit it."
"Admit what?" you pant. He has picked up his rhythm, and he knows you are close.
"That you're jealous."
"I'm not."
"Tell me or I won't let you come."
"I hate you," you groan, lifting your hips to try and increase pressure.
"Tell me." His voice is a whisper against your skin. He sees the gooseflesh appear and knows he'll get his way. He always does when he has you like this.
"Fine! I was jealous! Happy?"
"Very," he says, removing his hand and in the same motion, dropping down to replace it with his mouth. You cry out as his lips close around you and within moments, you are coming around him.
He watches you come down. The heave of your breaths, the muscles finally loosening. How could you ever stop doing this? There are so few joys in the Jedi order, and absolutely none of them come as close to this. To watching you come undone.
When you sit up, the frustration in your eyes has dimmed. Anakin thinks it will take at least two more orgasms to diminish it completely.
"There aren't any other girls," he says, scooting closer to you.
"I don't really care if there are," you say, looking up at him. He takes your chin in his hand and smiles gently.
"You do care."
"It doesn't matter if I do," you say, "Because this is the last time."
"How often do we say that, and how often do we come back every time?"
"This time will be different," you say, running your hand through his soaked hair, slicking it back.
"I don't believe that for a moment."
"And why's that?" you ask, your voice softening.
"Because this is too good. And because, I know, like you do, that we'll just keep going round and round in this dance, rather than leave each other forever." Your eyes search him for a long moment.
"I don't know that."
"You do. It's our style,” he says. You groan in annoyance.
"I don't want to talk any more."
"What do you want to do?" he asks, his hand trailing down to your hip.
"I want you to fuck me."
"I'll need more specifics," he says, his voice a tease. You roll your eyes again.
"I want you to fuck me from behind," you say, looking at him with that disinterested look again.
"Anything else?"
"As hard as you can."
He flips you over before you can even finish the sentence. Your pajama pants had been hiked around your knees, but he tears them off and onto the floor in a quick motion.
“This what you had in mind?” he asks as he aligns himself to your entrance. He waits until you are saying “yes” before he thrusts inside you. Your answer transforms into a moan as you take him in.
“Ready for me?” he asks. You grind against him, sighing contentedly.
“Yes.”
His thrusts into you are rough, just like you requested. His hands grip your hips, almost certainly leaving bruises. With every push into you, the only sound filling the room is the slap of your bodies and the moans you both make.
"Is this how you imagined it?" Anakin asks, his own breathing heavy.
"Yes, just like this," you pant.
“Do you think about it often?”
"I can't stop thinking about it. I can’t stop thinking about you," you admit. Anakin smiles. It is only in these moments, when he has taken you so fully, filled your body and your mind with only thoughts of him, that you finally let your true feelings show.
"Me too," he says. He again picks up his rhythm. His mechanical hand reaches around your waist and finds the sensitive flesh between your legs. He knows his touch is cold by the way your back arches.
In a few well placed strokes, you are coming around him again. Your walls tighten around him, and it is his turn to come, too. He moans your name and together you both collapse onto the bed.
He spares a glance over at you after he has calmed down some, and your eyes meet. You both let out breathless laughs.
"Why do we do this?" you ask.
"Because it feels good."
"No, why do we have to do the dance beforehand? And don't say it's our style," you deadpan.
"Maybe because if we admit that we like this, it would change completely," he says. You nod and look up at the ceiling. You are silent for a long time.
"Change it for the worse?"
"Maybe. Or maybe it'd be paradise."
"Paradise," you muse. "Sounds a little overrated." He laughs. “I guess I don’t mind our routine,” you say slowly.
“I don’t either,” he says, wrapping a strong arm around your waist and tucking you into his chest.
“But this is absolutely the last time,” you say, a devilish glint in your eyes.
“Oh absolutely,” he says, bringing your lips to his in a claiming kiss. “The very last.”

Matching Wounds
A/N: Apologies for the break. College has been kicking my ass as of late. Also, I'm a bit worried that this is OOC, but it's something, and it's done, so I'm posting it. 😌
TW: Themes of loss and mutual understanding of loss, death, a bit of a gory death, trauma from precious Hunger Game
Pairing: Johanna Mason x Reader (platonic/romantic)
Summary: Losing your mentor forces you further into the jungle during the 75th Hunger Games. You find yourself in the company of Johanna, who is familiar with love and loss, just like you.
The cannon.
Your worst nightmare, signaling the death of someone you cared about, or your savior when you look at the sky and realize the careers are dead.
You thought you were free of the cannons when you won the Hunger Games for the first time. With the announcement of the 75th Hunger Games and Third Quarter Quell, you know what must be done and what demons you have to face, both in the arena and in your mind.
You're going in with Cass - your mentor, the person who taught you enough to keep you alive in the games and outside of them as well. You knew that one of you had to go, but you thought you'd have more time.
It went too fast.
The bloodbath at the Cornucopia was something you both managed to escape, and you grabbed a few supplies while you cautiously watched some of the people you had befriended be murdered or become murderers once again.
You weren't supposed to look back - neither of you were.
Cass wanted to watch your back and make sure that you'd both make it to the forestry. At least, that was the plan.
You turned around to ask them where to go, only to see a spear through your mentor's heart.
You scream and cried, but you couldn't stay to give them a proper goodbye. You had to keep moving - this was the Hunger Games, and you wouldn't let them die in vain.
The various screams of other tributes were dull on your ears as you scrambled through the forestry during the night. The arena seemed to be dead set on killing all of you without any bloodshed between tributes. As soon as you heard screams or something move, you were moving onto another part of the arena.
The only thing you couldn't avoid, sometime during the night, was the blood rain. It was choking, all-consuming, and another reminder of the fact that your mentor was dead.
You stumbled around in the dark, covered in blood and regretful, waiting for a miracle. Whether that miracle was a swift death or an end to the blood rain - it didn't matter, you were sick of this.
You paused when you heard something, or rather, someone crash against the forcefield nearby. Realizing your proximity to the forcefully, you back off before cautiously walking forward.
You peek ahead from the shelter of a tree, one that shields you from the rain, and you see one hell of a sight in front of you.
Johanna, Beetee, and Wiress all standing over the body of a now-dead, or soon-to-be-dead, Blight.
"Shit." Johanna mumbles before throwing her axe to the side. "Blight, get up."
"He's not-"
"Don't say that." Johanna snaps at Beetee before going to sit next to Blight. "Blight, please-"
The cannon goes off, and she sighs before backing off.
"We need to move, the rain will stop soon, and walking next to a forcefield isn't a good idea right now." Johanna's remorseful look at Blight for a moment before wiping a bit of blood off of her face.
"Tik tok." Wiress nods in agreement as Johanna picks up her axe.
"I can't- Not now-"
Johanna waves off Wiress for a moment before walking away. Beetee gestures Wiress to follow before following closely behind.
You trail them for a while as the blood rain stops. There's not much chatter - what could you even say in a moment like that - until your foot finds a twig to snap beneath you.
Your breath stills, and you hide behind a tree as you hear Johanna walk toward your location.
You find your knife at your side, and you reveal yourself to Johanna by tossing your knife down and placing your hands up in the air.
Johanna looks surprised for a moment before putting her axe at her side.
"Thought Cass would be with you."
You bite your lip before putting your head down.
"Cass-"
"-died? Yeah, you're not the only one." She scoffs for a moment before rolling her shoulders back. "So much for teamwork."
"I saw the aftermath of what happened to Blight-"
"It's fine." She looks down at your knife. "Pick it up and keep up with me. I walk fast, but if you're slow, you'll be stuck talking to Nuts and Volts all night." She mutters the last part before walking towards Beetee and Wiress, who have been gawking at the two of you.
"They're not that bad, Johanna-"
"-You babysit them for twelve hours and tell me how you feel then." She coldly says before walking away from the forcefield.
You keep up with Johanna, and Wiress and Beetee trail slightly behind the two of you. After you had greeted them, Beetee had talked to Wiress, who had only responded with the same phrase again and again.
"I'm- I'm sorry about Cass." Johanna mumbles after a while of silence between the two of you.
"Why would you be sorry? You didn't kill them."
"They're someone you care about, and I care about you." Johanna softly says to you.
She was one of your first Victor friends, rough around the edges and hard to please, but someone that you found common ground with. You had visited her district, as she had yours, and you'd see each other every year as mentors or at parties, but you never thought you meant that much to her. You were acquaintances, sure, but was something more there?
"Blight was from home, so I understand how you feel." You gently place a hand on her shoulder. "They weren't our families, but they were a small bit of home, the last glimpse of a place we'll never see again."
"Don't get preachy on me." Johanna gives you a knowing look as you let go of her shoulder. "Maybe we're all not so different, after all."
"That sounds awful like being preachy, coming from someone who just told me not to be preachy." You smile and joke with her before you all decide to stop for the night.
As you take first watch, you wonder if Johanna's right.
We're all not so different, after all.

Hello everyone. I'm currently losing my mind.
BOC released a new teaser for the final episode of DFF, in order to promote their live event for it and it gave me so many thoughts. In case you haven't seen it, it's this one on Instagram (they've also posted it on Twitter).
It's so trippy and cool and it gave us a lot of good shots of all the characters and what haunts them in regards to Non, but I'll focus on Tee and White, because I have my biases and that's so valid of me.
(I'll assume everything in the trailer is symbolic, like in the first trailer they had released and do my analysis with that assumption in mind.)
Long post ahead:
After we get a brief montage of moments we've already seen in the show with some beautiful background music (it's this one, I love it), we see the brothers and then we start seeing everyone's fears. We see Fluke being scared of the police catching him, we see Top being scared of a haunting, bloody Non chasing him in the forest and then,
we see Tee.
Tee is holding Non's knife in his hands, looking arguably disgusted with it (with himself). The scene cuts to three consecutive visuals which you have to pause the teaser to see clearly. I tried my best here, apologies if the quality is bad.
Tee feels guilt for what happened to Non. I think everyone can understand this by now. He observes the knife in his hands drowning in this feeling, and it creates the image of himself pointing the knife directly onto Non's stomach, who's wearing the T-shirt he wore the day he got drugged and taken away to Tee's uncle. It's very intriguing to me how Non seems to either be trying to stop him or urging Tee to stab him. We'll find out soon enough what's the case.
But the real winner is the two images after that.
Because they involve White.
OK first things first, the shot is gorgeous. I love the colors and the framing and everything about it.
They're inside what seems to be a gaming room, which I'll assume is where they probably met, based on the Without Me MV BOC put out a few weeks ago.
(Notice how the color pallette is the same, too)
Tee is wearing his school uniform (stuck in the past, stuck to Non), while White is wearing the clothes from the cabin (in the present, away from Non but not really). They already are in two different timelines, which is also evident by their positions - Tee is a few steps behind White in the visual.
What caught my attention, besides everything else, was those shiny things on the floor. I can't see them very well, but in my opinion, they're condom wrappers. They go all the way back, symbolizing the duration of the relationship between Tee and White.
The interesting thing here, to me, is how they stop just before Tee's body, and then reappear after him, in front of White, with some of them dipped in blood.
A lot of people, me included, think NonWhite is a possibility, which makes this choice here very interesting. I'll grab onto it with two hands and wait to see what will be revealed tomorrow.
Speaking of Non, I think it's fair to assume the blood on the floor is Non's blood, which makes White staring directly into it become another version of Non, narrative wise. Both innocent boys entangled in Tee's life, both suffering because of Tee. My good friend @wretchedamaranth told me it reminded them of this painting of Narcissus by Caravaggio: White is looking at himself, as if the blood has become a mirror.
Which makes the next visual even more telling: blood separated by a thin line (it's almost blurred but it isn't, White becomes Non becomes White in Tee's eyes). On the right, the big amount is Non's, on the left, White's shadow is creeping into the shot.
It's White's blood. White is going to die.
We get zero things on White besides this. Absolutely none. Does this mean White is indeed a bystander in all of this? Should we take the words of Fuaiz here at face value?
(Source: DFF BTS Ep10)
Fuaiz could be talking about the scene we have seen, not what will come after. But he could just as well be talking in general about White as a character.
All I have to say is: Brace yourselves, fellow TeeWhite fans. We're in for a tragedy.
#I missed BOC's incredible trailers without even realizing it#I'm so hyped to see how DFF will end#I can't wait to cry my eyes out about TeeWhite#dead friend forever#teewhite#meta post

From Hell to Home to Back Again
Summary: At the talent show, Chrissy Cunningham is so hungry that she nearly collapses. When she's found by Hopper, her parents ended up losing custody of her. She ends up being placed in the care of the Hendersons, and she finally finds the family she so desperately needed. She also ends up falling in love. What other changes are made in this alternate universe?
@emen-98 @1lostsoul0fishbowl @vulpixsworld
Prologue . . . Chapter Fifteen
Chapter Sixteen
Eddie didn't say anything about what happened, and she loved him so much for that. Well, he didn't say anything until a week later, when she invited everyone over to hang out while their mother was working the night shift at the hospital. The Wheelers' basement bathroom was being redone, or so Ted had said so now the boys were down in the Hendersons' basement. Gareth was down there with them, watching the game. Jeff was away on family vacation. Corroded Coffin still hadn't found a replacement for Dougie. It was a task they had deemed impossible. It had been a miracle getting them all together in the first place.
Nancy, Steve, Robin, Chrissy, and Eddie were curled up in the living room, watching a movie. Chrissy noticed they were out of popcorn and wandered into the kitchen to make it. Eddie had, of course, followed her. It didn't take a genius to figure out why. She knew he was worried about her. Chrissy felt his eyes on her as she waited for the popcorn to pop.
"I feel like you want to say something to me," Chrissy said. "Or maybe ask me something. Ask me."
"Are you okay?" Eddie asked.
"I mean, to be honest, the nightmare kind of shook me, but I'm going to be okay," Chrissy said and paused. "I kind of don't want to talk about it though."
"You don't have to if you don't want to. I'm not going to push you," Eddie said.
"Really?" She asked.
"You were really patient with me last year. You deserve the same treatment. I mean, I'm curious as hell and scared, but no, I'm not going to push you if you're not ready. I'm here for you, though," Eddie said.
Chrissy smiled and wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck.
"Have I told you lately that I love you?" Chrissy asked.
"Tons of times, but it's nice to hear," Eddie grinned and kissed her.
Chrissy had gripped the back of his thighs and put him on the counter just as Steve entered the kitchen.
"Woah! Didn't know you could do that," Steve grinned.
"He loves it," Chrissy said with a smile.
"Yeah, I can tell. Your face is totally red, Eds," Steve chuckled. "Just came in here to get some water. Don't mind me."
"Steve," Chrissy rolled her eyes.
Eddie rolled his eyes and hopped off the table. He kissed Chrissy's forehead.
"Gotta piss," Eddie muttered and disappeared from the kitchen.
Chrissy watched him go, looking at him longingly. Steve cleared his throat, and she turned to him.
"Am I missing something?" Steve asked.
"I hate not being able to tell him. We've all got this huge secret that we can't talk about with him or Jeff and Gareth or with Ronnie and Dougie whenever they call," Chrissy said. "And I know why we can't. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to my brother or mother because I decided to spill the beans. It's just frustrating not being able to tell my boyfriend what really happened last year. I can't talk to him about why I'm so scared of the dark or why flickering lights cause me to go pale or why my nightmares are so terrible. At least you and Nancy have each other to talk to."
"Yeah. . . " Steve trailed off, and Chrissy tilted her head at him.
"You and Nancy do talk about it, don't you?" Chrissy asked.
"I don't want to push her," Steve said, running his hand through his hair. "I just make sure she knows that I'm there for her."
"I get giving her some space, but have you even tried?" Chrissy asked.
"What did I come in here for?" Steve asked. "Right, water. See you in there."
Steve went to the fridge and got himself a bottle of water. He looked tense. Chrissy grabbed his arm.
"Steve, I'm not trying to be mean. Eddie's doing the same thing with me right now. It sucks because I'll probably never be able to tell him what happened. You and Nancy have the option to talk to each other. I'm not saying force it out of her but gently suggest that you both need to open up. It happened to you too, Steve," Chrissy said. "And I can tell you need to talk about it too."
"I'm not the one she wants to talk to," Steve said.
"Who? Me?" Chrissy asked. "I mean, I'll try, but I can only make the suggestion."
"No, I mean, I know she's been talking with Jonathan lately," Steve said.
"Oh, Steve, you know there's nothing between her and Jonathan," Chrissy said. "You know that, don't you?"
"Of course," Steve said, swallowing thickly.
She couldn't tell him why there wasn't anything between them or the fact that Jonathan wasn't here right now because he was with Argyle. Jeff had made a joke about it at graduation, which people had missed except Chrissy. Jeff didn't know, but Jonathan hadn't exactly been out to himself at the time. He hadn't meant anything by it, Jeff had just become so comfortable with them all, and Chrissy had been vocal about her own sexuality with the group. He was sure Jonathan was, too. Even Steve and Eddie had gotten comfortable themselves. The two question marks left were, of course, Jonathan and Nancy. Chrissy had guessed that Jonathan liked Argyle, but his sexual preference would remain a mystery until he was comfortable telling everyone. Right now, he wasn't ready to reveal his relationship to the group and had asked Chrissy to keep it a secret. So, no, she couldn't tell Steve why there wasn't anything between Nancy and Jonathan. She wanted to soften the feelings he had, the feelings that had formed because of his parents' own relationship. Steve needs to know that he isn't his mother just because he looks like her.
"Well, you know, if Nancy isn't able to talk to you, then you know I'm here for you if you need to? Right?" Chrissy asked.
"Right, thanks, Chrissy," Steve said.
She watched him walk out of the kitchen and back into the living room. She prayed to whatever God that was out there that those two worked it out. She couldn't imagine how Nancy must feel. The night she had sex for the first time, two of her best friends disappeared, and one of them didn't come back. She had stupidly assumed that she was talking about it with Steve. She should really talk with Nancy. She wasn't going to force her, and if someone doesn't want to talk when they're not ready, then they shouldn't, but if Nancy is refusing to talk to Steve about it. . . Chrissy frowned. She didn't really know or understand. She wasn't a therapist, but it's not like they could tell a therapist all this. They would lock them up and throw away the key, which is why they needed to depend on each other. She supposed it was good that Nancy was at least talking about it with one of the members of their party.
"Probably going to get tired of me asking you this," Eddie's voice came from beside her, startling her. "But are you okay, sweetheart?"
"I'll be fine," Chrissy said, smiling sweetly at him.
"Popcorn's ready," Eddie said and shook the bowls at her.
She grabbed his face and pulled him in for a deep kiss. She broke it, smiling at him.
"You know, I love you, right?" Chrissy asked.
"Of course, sweetheart. I love you too. Now, let's go, the others probably think you got lost in another dimension," Eddie said, and Chrissy stared at him. "What?"
Chrissy laughed hard and pushed him out of the kitchen, shaking her head. Her eyes widened behind him. Oh God, he doesn't realize how close to the truth he just got. If Nancy and Steve couldn't make it, how could her and Eddie make it with all the secrets she was keeping from him? She wondered if Eddie was starting to catch on to how messed up they all were. Finally, she wandered back into the living room and settled herself back into Eddie's arms. They continued watching the movie, and for several wonderful moments, her problems faded to the back of her mind. Of course, it didn't last long. They had almost made it to the end of the movie when there came a knock at the door. Chrissy pulled herself out of Eddie's arms and opened the door. She quickly slammed it when she saw who was standing there. Everyone in the living room stared at her.
"Baby?" Eddie asked.
Chrissy held her hand up as she steadied her breathing. She reopened the door. Yep, he was still there. Phillip Cunningham was standing on her doorstep. She hadn't seen him since he gave up his parental rights. What the hell was he doing here? She opened her mouth to speak, but words weren't coming out.
"Hello, Christine, I know you weren't expecting me so I can forgive you for slamming the door in my face," Phillip said.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Chrissy asked.
"I suppose I can't tell you watch your language since I gave up that right," Phillip sighed.
"You gave it up a long time ago, Phillip," Chrissy said coldly.
"May I come in?" Phillip asked.
"Why should I let you?" Chrissy asked.
"Is there a problem?" Eddie asked, coming up behind her.
"Who is this?" Phillip asked, frowning at Eddie.
"Father, this is my lover. Lover, this is my father," Chrissy said.
"I love the fact that she called Eddie her lover right to her father's face," Robin snorted from the living room.
"Well, Phillip deserves worse for abandoning his daughter," Steve said. "And allowing Laura to abuse her for so long."
"A swift kick to the - ,"
"We can hear you," Phillip said.
"We know!" Robin and Steve exclaimed.
"You know, you should come in and meet my wonderful friends," Chrissy said with a forced smile.
Chrissy stepped aside and let him in. Phillip bristled when he came into the living room, and everyone gave him the stink eye. What did he expect?
"I don't suppose I can speak to you alone?" Phillip asked.
"No!" Chrissy's friends exclaimed.
"Anything you have to say to Chrissy, you can say in front of us," Nancy said. "Unless Chrissy says otherwise."
"Christine?" Phillip asked.
"Chrissy!" They corrected.
"No, she's right. They can stay," she said. "I would just tell them all about it later. Say what you need to say and then get out."
"I'm getting married," Phillip said.
"That's great," Chrissy snapped, crossing her arms. "Were you hoping I would forgive you and come to the wedding?"
"No, she doesn't know about you, and it's going to stay that way," Phillip said.
Chrissy tried to pretend like that didn't hurt, but she couldn't help it. It did hurt, and she obviously couldn't stop it from showing on her face. Eddie wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close.
"Jesus H Christ, you fucking piece of - ," Eddie started to say.
"She asked me if I had any more kids other than Matthew," Phillip said. "I told her no, and it's the truth."
"What are you talking about?" Chrissy asked.
"After we were married, Laura and I struggled to get pregnant. She desperately wanted to have a baby. I couldn't give it to her. So, I paid for an anonymous donor, and she got pregnant. We were happy for a while and even more so when I managed to successfully give her a baby of my own. I had a son. We were both devastated when he died," Phillip said and paused to narrow his eyes at Chrissy. "And then we were left with you, a reminder of what we could have had but lost."
Chrissy felt like she had been slapped, and she couldn't stop the tears from coming to her eyes.
"Are you blaming me for Matty's death?" Chrissy asked. "It was an accident."
"That is what we told you," Phillip said. "There was something odd about you. Things that happened around you, but Laura could never believe me when I told her. . .not her baby. No, her baby couldn't be touched by the devil. You killed our son. You drove Laura to insanity. We gave you everything, and in return, you murdered him."
Chrissy wanted to bury herself in her room and never come out again. She was horrified by what he was telling her. She wanted desperately to wake up from this nightmare.
"You were supposed to be watching us, but instead, you were too busy to pay attention to your own fucking kids! I tried to stop the tree branch from falling on him, but I was a kid! I was too far away, and I wasn't feeling well. My head was hurting, and when I got there, it had already fallen. I tried to stop it, but it was like something was stopping me," Chrissy sobbed. "There was no way for me to save him!"
"After Matthew died, Laura had no choice but to believe me. The devil's power was inside of you, so we did everything we could to suppress it," Phillip said. "Even if it meant keeping you weak."
"You're fucking crazy, man! Get the fuck out of here!" Eddie yelled at him.
"The fact that she's willing to lay with you is proof - " Phillip sneered.
"GET OUT!" Chrissy screamed.
Suddenly, it all made sense. All the things that happened around her. . .all the things that broke or magically came to her. She thought they were the imaginings of a child. The wall came down, and she remembered everything. She had tried to save him, she tried so hard but there was something else, someone else that she couldn't see. . .another invisible force. As though he had been testing her. Suddenly, the lights started flickering, as did the radio as the power swelled within her. Blood trickled from her nose.
"The devil still lives," Phillip said.
Chrissy took some deep breaths and suddenly, the lights stopped.
"Why did you even come here if you didn't care about me at all?" She asked.
"So, you don't come asking me for anything," Phillip said and then he walked out the door.
Chrissy reached over and slammed the door behind him. She turned to look at Eddie and found him looking at her in surprise. The others were standing and looking surprised. Suddenly, they heard the sound of frantic footsteps, and the boys burst into the room. Gareth came into the room behind them.
"Jesus, the lights started flickering, and they all started freaking out," Gareth said.
"Chrissy, is your nose bleeding?" Mike asked.
"Shit, hey, Eddie, don't you need to take Gareth home?" Dustin asked.
"Shit, yeah, that's true," Gareth said, frowning. "She's going to kill me."
"Are you going to be okay?" Eddie asked as he pulled out his hanky and started wiping her nose.
"I'll be fine. Take Gareth home," Chrissy smiled.
Eddie smiled back and shoved his hanky back into his pocket. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. Chrissy sighed, sinking into his touch and letting his warmth envelope her. She moved her head back and captured his lips with hers. Eddie sighed against her mouth, pulling her closer and pressing her against the wall. She grabbed the back of his shirt, her nails digging in deep as she gasped into his mouth.
"Excuse me! That is my sister that you are defiling in front of my own eyes!" Dustin shrieked.
Chrissy pulled back and giggled. She pecked Eddie's lips.
"Oh, Dustin, his lips were just giving my lips a hug," Chrissy said.
"Yeah, and her lips needed a hug," Eddie cooed. "You just tell me if that bad man comes by again and I'll run him over in my van."
"Will do," Chrissy cooed back. "I think my lips need another hug from my handsome boy."
"Oooh, they definitely do," Eddie said.
"They definitely do not!" Gareth exclaimed and pulled Eddie away from Chrissy. "Let's go!"
Eddie yelped before blowing her a kiss as he was yanked out the door. Chrissy grinned as she caught it and held it close to her chest. It didn't take much for Eddie to make her feel better. Sometimes, all it took was a kiss. However, once Eddie was gone, it was like deflating a balloon. Chrissy collapsed on the couch as the kids surrounded her.
"Did you do that?" Mike asked. "Did you always know you were like El?"
"What did Eddie mean about the bad man?" Lucas asked.
"Do you and Eddie always talk baby talk to each other?" Dustin asked.
"Are you okay?" Will asked as he sat down next to her.
"Is that the question to be asking her right now, Dustin?" Lucas asked.
"I'll be fine," Chrissy said.
"It sounds like you say that a lot," Will said.
"Quick question, Will, are you just an old man trapped in a kid's body?" Steve asked. "That was a really wise observation."
Will laughed as Steve ruffled his hair.
"Well, Steve, that's why we call him Will the Wise," Dustin said sarcastically.
"Don't be a shithead, baby Henderson," Steve said and Dustin flipped him off.
"What the hell happened?!" Mike snapped at Chrissy.
"Mike!" Nancy scolded.
"I'm sorry, it's just - ," Mike started.
Chrissy stood up, looking at him in sympathy. She placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Mike, calm down. Look at me, listen to my voice, and breathe with me," Chrissy said, and he did that. "We're okay, I'm okay. It's not happening again."
"I just - I'm - ," Mike said and looked at Will.
"I know," Chrissy said, caressing his hair. "I'm here. Will's here. We're okay."
She put his arm around Mike and led him to the couch. She set him down between Will and his sisters. Nancy immediately put her arm Mike while Robin moved to the floor and gripped his knee. Will turned from Chrissy to look at Mike. As scary as it had been for Chrissy and Will to be trapped there, it must have been just as terrifying for the people looking for them on the other side. Suddenly, Chrissy felt a pair of arms wrap around her, and she found her own brother hugging her tightly.
"What happened?" Dustin whispered.
Chrissy opened her mouth to speak and found that she couldn't. Nancy looked at her with sympathy and understanding. She started to explain for Chrissy, and she couldn't but be grateful towards her.
"What does this mean for Chrissy?" Lucas asked.
"It can't get back to the lab. They can't know she has powers," Nancy said.
"I know my mom has tried to stop taking me to the lab, and so, they haven't asked Chrissy to come in, but what happens when we do go back?" Will asked.
"We lie our asses off," Nancy said.
"You don't have to do that for me," Chrissy said.
"Don't be ridiculous, Chrissy," Steve scoffed. "You're our friend, of course, we're going to do this for you."
"Not going to let those assholes get their hands on you and do fucked up experiments on you," Robin said. "No way."
"Okay, so, in the meantime, do we act like I don't have powers?" Chrissy asked.
"Yeah," Nancy said.
"What about Joyce and Hopper? Do we keep them out of this?" Steve asked.
Chrissy frowned. She knew that Hopper had some sort of deal in place to keep everyone from going to jail or from getting killed, but she didn't know exactly what it was. He had to have, right? She knew he would do whatever it took to protect his family. She had to do the same.
"No, the less people know, the better," Chrissy said and then looked at the kids. "Although, I wished you guys didn't know."
"Yeah, well, we're helping whether you like it or not," Mike said. "You're our friend."
Chrissy smiled sweetly at Mike and ruffled his hair. He scowled at her and rolled his eyes. The smile dropped from her face. Yet another secret from Eddie. Nancy shared a look with Steve and nodded at the kids. He understood.
"Come on, shitheads, time to head home," Steve said. "I think Chrissy needs a moment to herself."
"I live here!" Dustin exclaimed.
"Yeah, I didn't mean you, butthead," Steve said.
"Oh," Dustin said.
"What about my sisters?" Mike asked.
"They're going to stay here with Chrissy," Steve said.
"What? Why?" Mike asked.
Will rolled his eyes and elbowed Mike in the side. Mike didn't question it further. Instead, he hugged Nancy and Robin tightly, allowing Robin to press tons of kisses into his hair.
"We're going to talk later," Robin said, and Mike nodded.
He had been close with both of them, had been since he was born, but it was Robin he felt more in sync with. He and Robin had the same taste in clothes and music while Nancy's was different. Underneath it all, they all had the same fierceness that spread through them like wildfire. She always thought that all three of the Wheeler siblings were a formidable force. They all had the same drive and determination to help their friends, too. Even though they didn't look a whole lot a like. . .although Nancy and Robin did have the same blue eyes they had gotten from their grandmother, and Nancy does share a jawline with Mike. . . They have the same energy and focus when it comes to accomplishing something for the people they care about. Chrissy also noticed that they have freckles on their face, although very faint. You had to squint to see them.
Will, Lucas, and Mike gave her hugs on the way out. Since Dustin was attached to her, they ended up hugging him as well. Steve hugged her tightly before shepherding the kids out the door. Chrissy sighed and looked down at Mews, who was currently rubbing himself between her legs. She scooped him up with a smile.
"Come on, let's go have some girl talk," she cooed at the cat.
"I'll make hot chocolate!" Dustin exclaimed. "Extra marshmallows for you, Robin?"
"Yes, please! Thank you!" Robin exclaimed.
Nancy and Robin followed Chrissy to her room. They made sure to touch Wilbur's snout before they threw themselves onto Chrissy's bed. She couldn't help but smile. It seemed like an unspoken rule now that whenever anyone entered her room, they had to touch the snout. Chrissy curled up with Mews and pressed kisses into his fur. He nuzzled her face, purring loudly as if he knew just how upset she was.
"I don't even know where to begin," Chrissy sighed as she scratched Mews' back. "I hate him. I hate him so much. I wish he was dead."
"Do you really?" Nancy asked with raised eyebrows.
"No, I wanted to throw up the minute I said it," Chrissy frowned. "I do wish that he always stubs his pinkie toe."
"And may he always step on a lego," Robin said.
"And that he always has swimmer's ear," Nancy said.
"May he always lose his keys," Robin said.
"And may his fiancée realizes what a dick he is and leaves him at the alter," Nancy said.
"With her father leaving him to pay for the entire bill," Robin said.
"That's awful!" Chrissy giggled.
"May dogs everywhere mistake his leg for a fire hydrant," Robin said, and Chrissy laughed harder.
"We'd be terrible witches," Chrissy laughed.
"What are you talking about? We would be awesome," Robin said. "Cursing people with bad luck for those who deserve it."
Chrissy collapsed on the bed next to them, giggling.
"We even have a familiar. Do you want to be our familiar, Mews?" Nancy cooed at the cat.
Mews meowed at Nancy, unsure what she was asking of him. He seemed to agree, though, as she used her nails to scratch his back. Dustin soon came in with a tray of hot chocolate.
"Well, if you ladies need anything, I'll be in my room," Dustin said as he set it on her dresser.
He paused for a moment before throwing himself at Chrissy and hugging her tightly. She smiled and squeezed her brother back just as tightly.
"I love you," Chrissy said.
"I love you too," Dustin said. "You're not the devil. You're my sister, and I know you would never do anything to hurt us. That asshole is wrong about you. He's going to regret missing out on someone really great."
"Thanks, Dusty Bun," Chrissy said.
He left the room, leaving them to their girl talk. Chrissy took her mug of hot chocolate and took a drink. She pulled back and watched the marshmallow dance in the warm brown liquid. Her eyes filling up with tears.
"What's wrong?" Nancy asked softly.
"I hate lying to Eddie. I want to tell him everything but I know that I can't. I know how dangerous it would be for him and all of us if I break that NDA, but he's being so patient with me. . .I just think he deserves to know, but I also know that I can't risk losing him because of my actions. But what if something else happens and because I left him in the dark, leaving him unprepared. . .what if something happens to him then? I don't know what to do," Chrissy exclaimed. "This is all so frustrating! I hate them! I hate them all so much and, more importantly, Dr. Brenner, for starting all of this shit. I hate that we're all so fucked up because of it. I miss Barb so fucking much and I wish I could tell this all to Eddie. . . What we all went through. I feel like I can't fucking breathe because there's knot in my chest and it feels like it's getting bigger."
Now, she understood. She could see it on Nancy's face. It's not that she didn't want to talk to Steve. It's that she couldn't. Chrissy could feel it sticking to the back of her throat every time she thought about telling Eddie. Robin and Nancy set their hot chocolates down before moving quickly to her side.
"It's okay, we're here. Focus on our voices, breathe with us," Nancy said softly.
"We're here, babe, we got you," Robin said.
They helped Chrissy ease her breathing, and after that, they fell into a comfortable silence. Of course, Chrissy needed to think about anything else, and she couldn't help but smile when Robin offered to talk about Ronnie. It hadn't been easy saying goodbye to her this summer. Robin had pretty much spent every waking moment with her up until she had left. They hadn't labeled their relationship due to the long distance, but they were making it work, basically keeping it an open arrangement as well. Right now, though, Robin couldn't think or talk about any other woman other than Ronnie. Eventually, they fell into silence again, finishing up their hot chocolate before laying out on the bed and falling asleep.
Chrissy ended up waking up in the middle of the night, feeling like there were more people in the room earlier than there had been before. She looked at the foot of the bed and smiled. Gareth was back and laying on the floor, fast asleep. Two pillows wore both Jeff and Ronnie's shirt, which Chrissy took to mean that they were here in spirit. He must have made Eddie come back when he was told about Phillip. That must have been what happened with the kids, too. Lucas, Will, and Mike were back, sleeping soundly against each other. Dustin was slobbering against Steve’s shoulder while Steve snored into his curls. Jonathan and Argyle were cuddling in one corner and also fast asleep. Nancy and Robin were still sleeping on the bed with Mews between them. There was a familiar snore in the air, but she couldn't see him.
Finally, Chrissy leaned over the side of her bed. She smiled at the sight of Eddie tucked in between the wall and her bed. He was lying on his back with a stuffed pig that he obviously bought for her. Although she wasn't sure where he got the tiny denim vest he put on the pig. It kind of looked like he cut up a pair of jeans. She carefully tucked a pillow under his head before lowering herself down onto him, pulling one of her blankets from the bed. She laid it across them, kissed the pig's nose, and then Eddie's before laying her head on his chest. Chrissy smiled. Suddenly, she felt like she could do anything with her very own army having her back.

The Bangtan Gal Chapter 90- Idol Parents?
Chapter Summary: BTS anticipates the release of WINGS. Jennie and Jungkook are assigned to take care of a robot baby for a parenting class at school.
Words: 6,000+
Author's Note: Anotha one! Enjoy! Big Jungkook fluff!
------
Once September 25th hit, Hobi's Boy Meets Evil concept video was released and the members praised him for his outstanding performance. Jennie filmed the group watching the video with Hobi as they were hyped and excited about how good it looked. That grin on Hobi's face as he gushed over how much praise he got from the group made Jennie's heart feel full.
"Oh my gosh~!" Jimin exclaimed, loving the video as the other members whooped and hollered.
"Yasssss, Hobi!" Jen yelled.
After they watched the video, Jennie went to give him a big hug and multiple kisses on the cheek. "I'm SO proud of you! I remember you sending me all those progress videos of practicing the dance and you nailed it! You're exceptional, Hobi!,"
"Munchkin...thank you," he pulled her in for another hug.
"You're going to blow everyone away when you perform this live, I hope you know that," she continued to cheer.
The next evening, Jennie couldn't sleep as she found herself anticipating the comeback that was just a couple of days away. As their comeback got closer and closer, more information and photos of their comeback were released as fans continued to freak out about her hair and how good the group looked. It excited her to see how passionate fans and locals were about their comeback. She had a strong feeling this was going to be the start of something huge.
Looking at the time, it was past 1am and she decided that eating a snack would suffice.
Getting out of bed, she stretched. Walking out of the room, she regarded the smell of pizza rolls and the sound of a microwave running. Looks like someone else was awake too. As she inched closer to the kitchen she was met by Jungkook's bare back to her, playing a game on his phone while waiting for his pizza rolls to finish cooking.
'That back...' she thought as she found herself staring.
He remained unaware of her presence, focused on his game as he let out some curses and a frustrated low growl when he was losing. For a while, she felt ready for that next step. Maybe this was a good time to tell him that she was ready. Or maybe she should wait until they were all alone and not with the rest of the members in the dorm, sleeping.
Decisions, decisions.
With her emotions taking over her and thinking about how good he looked, her mind went to a more suggestive place, as she thought about where in the kitchen and living room he'd pin her against. Her heart raced and her body felt flushed at the fantasy. Shaking her head, she pushed the passionate thoughts aside.
'Calm yourself, sis,' she thought.
After pulling herself together, she made her presence known as she greeted him and went to the freezer to grab some ice cream and a spoon.
"Can't sleep either, honey?" his cheerful voice filled her ears.
It seemed like his mood brightened when she walked in, making him forget that he was losing his game.
Oh gosh...she wanted him so bad, right now.
"Looks that way," she answered sweetly. "It's one of them nights. I guess you could say I'm excited about the comeback and can't wait for it to release,"
Placing the ice cream on the counter, she took the top off and leaned up against it with her elbows. Jungkook leaned his back against the counter as he stood next to her and watched her with a smile. Her silk scarf that was protecting her hair was still intact along with her Captain American pajama shorts and shirt. She looked cute. He paused his game and placed his phone on the counter.
"Yeaaaaah, it is," he stretched as she tried to ignore the way his muscles flexed.
Why did he have to look this good when they weren't even officially alone?
Scooping up a big chunk of chocolate ice cream, she ate it eagerly, welcoming the cold treat with delight.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
"Ah, finally they're done," he promptly removed the pizza rolls from the microwave and placed them on the counter next to her.
"Don't you want to wait until they cool down?" she exclaimed as she watched him pop one in his mouth with ease, ignoring the heat.
"I'll live," he giggled and ate a few more.
"Wow, you must love pain," she sarcastically said after eating a few more spoonfuls of ice cream while he giggled again at her response. "Just be careful with your tongue, please,"
"A kiss would cool it down since you're eating that ice cream," he suggested playfully after swallowing his food.
"You like to find clever ways to kiss me, huh?"
"From the way you were looking at me, it looked like you want to kiss me more than I want to kiss you," he raised an eyebrow and stepped in close to her, standing in front of her.
His movement made her drop the spoon in the tub of ice cream and place her back against the counter. He then laid his hands on each side of her on the counter, getting closer to her face.
"Am I right?" he teased.
"I wasn't staring..."
"You make it pretty obvious, Jennie," he acknowledged as her face began to heat up.
She needed to work on being more subtle.
"Okay. I admit it. You're right. But you're not getting a kiss that easily,"
"Why not?" he tried to go for a smooch but she playfully evaded it and placed her cold lips on his cheek instead. "Lips, not cheek,"
"Hmm. I'll think about it,"
He tilted his head to the side a little, deciding to take up the challenge. As he went for another kiss, he met her cheek instead. Going for it again, she turned her head the other way and felt him kiss her other cheek. The way he kept trying to kiss her started to make her giggle which turned into soft laughter as her hands were placed on his chest, light-heartedly attempting to push him away. Anticipating that he was going to kiss her left cheek again, she moved her head but he was too quick and managed to press his lips against hers this time. His kiss deepened instantly and she sighed into the kiss, enjoying how his kisses made her happy.
He pulled away too soon but only to softly say with a grin, "Got you," and leaned back in to kiss her.
As her cold tongue met his hot tongue from the pizza rolls, Jungkook set his hands under her thighs to lift and place her on top of the kitchen counter.
Pulling away for air, she rested her arms around his neck.
"Pepperoni Totino's pizza rolls?" she guessed from the taste.
That caused Jungkook to laugh lightly and nod. "Correct,"
"Elite," she laughed with him and ran her fingers through his hair.
His hair was now light brown for the comeback. The Stylists knew how to make her man look irresistible. Wanting more kisses, she pulled him back in for a needy smooch. But then he reluctantly pulled away.
"Jennie, I'll get carried away if we continue like this. I know you want to wait,"
"It's okay. It's okay, really," she removed her arms from him.
"I know but still. I don't want to pressure you," he took a step back as she stepped down from the counter.
"Kookie?" she grabbed one of his hands and looked up at him.
"Yeah?"
"There's something I've been wanting to tell you,"
"What do you want to tell me?"
"I'm actually-"
"Is that pizza rolls I smell!? Can I have some?" Hobi's cheerful voice filled the kitchen, making the couple slowly break away from each other.
'Of course, I get interrupted when I'm about to tell him I'm ready.' Jen thought with a sigh.
"Sure hyung!" Jungkook was feeling kind enough to share since he made the whole bag.
"Midnight snack, huh? One of them nights?"
Jen chuckled lightly. "Yeah, one of them nights,"
"Oh Jagi, what did you want to tell me?" Jungkook smiled as he ate another pizza roll.
She shook her head. "Lost my train of thought,"
"Ah, I hate when that happens. Let me know when you remember, all right?"
"Yeah," she murmured and ate another spoonful of ice cream.
After the trio ate, she spoke up to tell Jungkook that she remembered what she wanted to tell him.
"Oh great. What was it?" he asked.
Dismissing the idea to tell him she was ready, instead, she thought of something else. "Since we're awake, do you want to do a live stream for a little bit on Twitch?"
His eyes lit up. "Yeah! Let's do it! Hyung, you want to join?"
"Sure!" Hobi agreed.
"Great! Meet us in my room when you're ready!" Jen told him and went to her room to set up the stream.
Jungkook put on a shirt and met up with her after. In Jennie's room, Hobi sat in the middle of them, happily anticipating the show.
'We can't sleep so Golden Duo is back at it again in a few minutes! Check us out on Twitch~! #Jen' she tweeted with the link.
Once they were ready to go, Jungkook waved to the camera and began to speak as a large audience popped on the stream. "Hi ARMY! Jungkook here!"
"And what up? I'm Jennie!"
"And we are The Golden Duo! We have a special guest with us today. Hyung?"
"Hi! I'm your Hope! J-Hope~!" Hobi waved. "I love you, ARMY!"
"J-Hope is here with us~! Yay!" Jen cheered.
"Today we are here to play another game," Jungkook announced.
"A game I'm kind of dreading because I have no idea how to play," she cringed.
Jungkook giggled evilly. "We are playing overwatch today,"
"Yay..." she said unenthusiastically, making him laugh loudly with Hobi. "Jungkook insisted I play this for some crazy reason,"
Her boyfriend smiled slyly. He wanted to watch her struggle tonight since she was still not quite familiar with the game controls.
"Jungkook is so evil for this. Good luck, Munchkin," Hobi said.
"Yeah, I'll need it," she chuckled and turned back to the camera, "We're going to mix it up today. Jungkook and I agreed on having a punishment for this stream. If I can get ten kills within a set of three games, he has to drink of mixture of condiments mixed with water. If I am unable to get ten kills, I have to drink a glass of eggs. Raw eggs."
"You're going to drink the eggs," Jungkook guaranteed.
She scoffed. "The fact that you have no confidence in me for this game, is astonishing,"
"Because you suck at the game. So, I automatically win. You might as well drink the eggs now,"
She narrowed her eyes at him while he smiled sweetly. Hobi continued to giggle in the background and commented on how funny they were bickering.
In response, Jungkook was about to say "I love you, honey," but refrained as he realized this was live.
"Let's get started before I end up smacking you," she replied.
It didn't take too long to find an online match and she chose to use Tracer. Once she began to play, she was immediately shot down.
"That should be a record. The game just started!" Hobi exclaimed while Jennie stared at the screen in disbelief.
"Okay, that was a trial run," she said and went back to run around the map.
"Do you know what you're doing?" Jungkook asked with amusement.
"No. I don't but I'm a quick learner," she answered confidently but she kept missing shots. "This is bullshit. Bullshit..."
"Munchkin, language," Hobi lightly warned. "Wow, she's really getting angry, huh?"
"Because she knows she sucks," Jungkook laughed with him.
"Jungkook shut up," she rolled her eyes and continued to play.
"You are doing an amazing job. Wow," her boyfriend said sarcastically, being a smart ass.
"Shut up!" she whined.
Fans began to comment with laughing emojis:
'LMAOOOOO she is going to kill him after the stream'
'He is so wrong for this haha'
'Poor Ennie! This is hilarious'
'OMG JUNGKOOK SKSJSEJK'
"ARE YOU FU-UGH!" Jen screamed, stomping her foot down aggressively.
Her face twisted up in frustration after getting killed again. Meanwhile, Jungkook was having the time of his life watching her stress out while Hobi occasionally shrieked at her anger. Her character got hit and suddenly Sleep is written on the screen.
"Oh my God! I'm asleep!? No!" she yelled and watched as she fell in the water and died.
'lmfaooooo Jennie is about to tap out. She mad as hell right now'
'I think she's about to rage quit'
'MOOOOOOOD LMAOOOO'
"This is some bullshit. I'm done for today. I don't want to play no more," she decided to rage quit.
"Wow, already?" Hobi asked.
"Told you, hyung. All right, Ms. Walker, let me show you how it's done," Jungkook took the controller from her hands and started a new game. As she watched him play, she claimed he was cheating. "And how am I cheating Ms. Walker? Elaborate,"
"You picked an easy stage," she claimed.
"No, I didn't."
"Nah, this is flat out cheating!"
"How so?"
"You know you are! This is not cool how you are easily killing everybody like this,"
"I am better than you at this game,"
She rolled her eyes. "Corny,"
"I want to play after you, Jungkook. Let me try it out," J-Hope spoke up after watching for a while.
"Sure, hyung. You'll probably do better than Ms. Jennifer Rage Quitter," Jungkook continued to roast her.
"A-are you serious!?" her face began to heat up and she retaliated by kicking Jungkook in the leg.
After he won his game, he gave the controller to Hobi and watched him play. Hobi seemed to have gotten the hang of things while occasionally shrieking when he saw players shooting at him.
"Oh, make sure you do this, to help your team," Jungkook pointed out.
She stared in disbelief that Jungkook started helping him. "Uh uh! You didn't give me advice when I was playing! And you're giving him advice?!"
Hobi and Jungkook burst out in laughter from her freakout. Their laughter was enough to get Tony to join the party and jump on Jennie's lap to try to get her to calm down.
"Hi, Tony. Tony is the only person that never lets me down. Y'all on the other hand. Disrespectful,"
Tony barked happily and she rewarded him by rubbing him and giving him kisses.
"Say hi to ARMY, Tony! It's been a while!" she beamed and made Tony wave his paw to the camera.
'Tony~!'
'He's getting so big!'
'Awwww JenKook's son!'
After J-Hope managed to win his game thanks to Jungkook giving him pointers, Jungkook turned to his girlfriend.
"And like I predicted, you lose, Jennie. Let me go get the eggs," he announced happily and left the room.
She groaned and covered her face in her hands while Tony jumped on Hobi's lap to play with him.
"Why~!?" she whined. Uncovering her face, she went to see the comments. "I tried my best, guys. Overwatch is just not my thing. I'll just have to keep practicing,"
'It's okayyyy'
'Lolll enjoy the eggs'
'Hahaha it's nice to see I'm not the only one who sucks at Overwatch'
'Practice makes perfect'
'Wow u really have to drink eggs?? RIP'
Jungkook walked back into the room and sat back down to place a glass of three raw eggs for her to drink.
"Here you are. Enjoy. And drink every single one. Not just one egg or a sip. All of it," he demanded.
"Whoa. He said it with such authority," Hobi looked surprised.
"For real like do y'all hear him?" she exclaimed as she looked at the camera, taken aback by his statement but secretly liking it. "You so demanding, like damn. Okay, Mister Jeon," she said sarcastically, making him laugh.
Taking a deep breath, she grabbed the glass and examined it.
'Gosh, why couldn't it just be one egg?' she complained in her head.
Going for it, she gulped all of it and slammed the cup down. It tasted bland but it was tolerable to handle as a punishment.
"That was...interesting. Tasted super weird but I did it," she sighed out of relief and went to down a bottle of apple juice to get rid of the aftertaste.
"Yay~!" Hobi cheered.
"Wow, your reaction was not what I was expecting. I wanted you to suffer," Jungkook said with disappointment.
"Wow! I get no love, I swear. Anyway, thank you, Army for tuning in! Until next time! Hopefully, when we play Overwatch again, I'll be a little better," Jen promised.
"That's a lie. I guarantee she won't," he snorted.
"You know what!?" she reached for a nearby pillow and began to attack him with it. "I am so tired of your shit tonight, you smartass!" she exclaimed over her boyfriend's laughter while Hobi tried to break it up.
--------
Once October 9th hit, BTS hosted the WINGS preview show on the V-Live app. As the first stream appeared, Armies broke the app with over 60 million hearts and 1 million views before the show started.
When the group found out, everyone was shooked and Jen laughed out loud and grabbed her phone to tweet, 'LMFAOOOOOO, Y'all really crashed the app. #Jen'
Once they got the technical difficulties out of the way, they went on with the broadcast as Jin was the host. Jennie sat in between J-Hope and Rapmon for the show.
'BTS News'
"Hello, V viewers. This is Jin, anchor for Oct. 9 countdown BTS News," he announced. "It's been delayed because of an unexpectedly high level of interest. Let me start again. Here's the news for today. BTS is going to release their second official album. Let me talk with Suga, who is on-site,"
The group laughed as they watched the banter.
"Hello, this is Suga on site!" Suga acted out as a dramatic news broadcaster. "The second official album of BTS is said to be released right now!"
"Have you heard of the songs?"
"Yes, I've just heard them!"
"What do you think of the songs?"
Suga placed his fingers on his ear like he was trying to listen in on an earpiece. He then began to make sound effects to portray that the signal was bad. "It's getting a fervent response! I think the album will be a big hit!"
After the group laughed and clapped, Jin continued, "It seems that the album is awesome. Here's the news that just came in. It's an amazing one. Let me give you 8 exclusive news on BTS members. Suga dyes his hair black in three years since the debut song. No More Dream Black sugar is back!"
"How handsome," V noted.
"Rap Monster destroyed the floor while dancing with the group. What is the truth behind his destructive power?"
Jennie snickered at the memory. "He was like BAM!"
"It's not true," Rapmon tried to defend himself and covered his face.
"The lovely Jennie FINALLY dyes her hair for a BTS comeback! And what color to make a bold statement than red! Jennie had red hair!" Jin announced.
The sound of the members whooping and hollering at her new hair color made her grin and she posed cutely for the camera.
"J-Hope exposes his body in a trailer. Was it intentional?"
"Exposure~!" J-Hope shimmied his shoulders.
"Wouldn't it be intentional?" Suga asked.
"Jimin's cheeks have hollowed out. Would we ever see them again?" Jin asked as Jimin made his cheeks look big. "V. V's eyebrows are back. Everyone in the world is amazed,"
"The whole world is shouting for joy!" Suga added over the cheers for V.
"Jungkook almost split his legs while doing wire action. It's not certain whether he has recovered or not," Jin declared while Jungkook looked down at his legs in surprise.
"What's next?" Rapmon asked.
"Jin is getting handsomer day by day. When will he stop getting handsome?" he gave the viewers a flying kiss.
After the group did their greeting, the broadcast discussed the second album before it was released. A whole preview show for WINGS. Jin brought up the group to give explanations about their news and told Jungkook to start first.
"It wasn't my legs. My back hurt," he explained.
"V next,"
"I did it because fans loved it!"
"Jimin!"
"My cheeks will come back if you want,"
"It wasn't intentional. It's part of the dance," J-Hope explained.
"It's over five seconds," Suga pointed out
"Really?"
"Jennie!" Jin called her out.
"Because every single comeback I've been asked when am I dyeing my hair and this was the perfect comeback to do it for," she explained.
"My shoes were expensive!" Rapmon explained.
"Do I have to explain why I dyed my hair black?" Suga wondered. "It's fun,"
"I'm handsome because of Army's love," Jin explained and sent another flying kiss.
As the broadcast went on, the group went to give some background information on WINGS. Jennie listened most of the time, occasionally laughing with the group.
"How was it working on this album while you were away from us, Jennie?" Jin asked.
"It was interesting and a bit weird since I'm always used to being at Big Hit to work on new music. For this comeback, I chose to not be that involved in singing in songs but instead, you will see me in the album credits for a lot of background work. I played the guitar for a handful of songs and did a bunch of background vocals. It was a fun experience and I am grateful that I was able to help with the album while I was back home," she beamed.
"She stayed up late nights. Keep in mind we are in different time zones. She worked very hard and sacrificed a lot for this album. Please listen out for her vocals and her guitar sound. She did a wonderful job," Rapmon praised.
"Awww, my heart. Thank you," she gave him a side hug, making him smile.
The group introduced the tracklist and how it included a solo song from each member. Something that fans are anticipating the most. They went down the line to explain the tracklist.
"Our solo song starts from the third track. The third track, Begin. Whose song is it?" Suga asked.
"It's my solo," Jungkook raised his hand. "Begin is about how I came to Seoul and met the BTS members. It's about emotions that I felt in the process. It sounds very dreamy. It might be difficult to grasp when you hear it, but I've worked hard on it and recorded it,"
"What's the lyrics like?" he was asked.
"It's embarrassing to explain," he grinned. "I've changed thanks to all of you,"
After his answer, V shoved him, making everyone laugh. The members went on to talk about how much the song meant to them and that it made them cry.
"My first solo song. It's about lying," Jimin went over Lie. "It's about the conflict due to lies and temptation. It was difficult because the song is in a very high pitch. Just don't expect me to sing it live,"
"Why? You're good!" J-Hope exclaimed.
"He says this now, but he will sing well," Rapmon added.
"This is a lie," V pushed him, making Jimin laugh.
"See? You're good at lying. Professional liar," J-Hope pointed out.
"Stigma is mine. It's a song of neo-soul genre. I personally think that it's the most sophisticated song in this album," V said confidently, surprising the boys with his statement.
"Are you confident?" Jungkook asked him.
"I am!" he answered with a grin. "Usually we recorded altogether. It was my first time recording alone, and it was bitter because I was recording alone. The staff helped me out but..."
"Do you mean that you were lonely? Not bitter?" Suga asked.
"Lonely," Taehyung nodded.
"Let's move onto the sixth track. First Love. It's my solo song," Suga revealed. "Since the title is called First Love, many people thought that it's about first love,"
"Can you figure it out if you listen to it?" Jimin asked.
"Yes, it's in the first bar. I cried while recording," Suga admitted. "I cried a bit. Next song. Reflection,"
"It's my song," Rapmon proclaimed. "I go to Ttukseom Island when I have a lot in mind or when I have a hard time. I wrote this song sitting down in Ttukseom. You can hear the sound of the surroundings that I've recorded in Ttukseom at the time. And I can dare promise you that it's the best song to hear outside in this weather. I've produced it myself,"
"Really? You've produced it yourself?" J-Hope asked as the group was amazed.
"The best song to listen to in October, Reflection will be out at midnight. Please listen to it," Suga said. "Next, the eighth track. Mama,"
"It's my song," Hobi spoke up. "Can't you guess what it's about right from the title? That's right. It's about my mom. It's about emotions that I felt about Mom since childhood. I think this will be an unforgettable song in my life as a singer. Please look forward to Mama,"
"A lot of people are waiting for Mama. They are looking forward to it a lot," Jimin praised.
"Please look forward to it. It's good,"
"The most anticipated song in October, Mama, will be out at midnight," Suga replied. "Our next solo song, Awake,"
"We don't need a word to describe this," Jimin pointed out.
"Awake is my solo song," Jin said. "I've composed for the first time. It's much more difficult to write a song than I thought. I'm happy that a decent song is out. Not only writing but also singing was difficult because many parts were in high pitch. It was higher than I thought. I will work hard. Please listen to it,"
"It's the first time that Jin participated in composition. Please look forward to awake," Rapmon said.
"Last but not least is Jennie's solo song! Evermore. Jennie, explain your solo song," Suga pointed out.
"Ah...okay. This song is kind of sad and filled with a lot of doubt. It goes back to how I felt anxiously when I got mobbed at my sister's play. And I felt like I wanted to just stop performing. Feeling the fear of getting more famous. But as you listen to the lyrics, you'll see more of a positive shift that I can do this and I will overcome this. This song is very experimental and showcases my DJ skills. I want to show more of a versatile version of myself so you'll get a taste with this. I hope you like it. I was very nervous about it. The song is very blunt and straightforward. I am very nervous about performing this song live, one day. But we'll see how things go, yeah? If we can do more solos, I'll try to make a more upbeat song. So, I apologize in advance if you feel the waterworks when you listen. Trust me, I am ok. I hope to perform the song in a more positive light and have fun with it,"
"Did you cry when recording?"
"Yes. It took me days to properly try to sing it after I got my emotions in check. I feel much better now. Please look forward to it," she smiled nervously as she tried to keep her hands from getting shaky.
"Ennie, you'll perform it well. I have no doubt," Jimin reassured.
"Yes, indeed. Let us move on. The next song is Lost," Rapmon revealed. "Us rappers did the Cypher all the time. But this time it's the song of vocalists. I've written the lyrics. Please look forward to the unit song of vocalists,"
"Just an FYI I'm not in the song but I provided instrumentals!" Jennie waved.
"Yes, Jennie's guitar compliments the song nicely. She did an excellent job," Jin recognized.
Jennie grinned. "Thank you~!"
"The next one is BTS Cypher 4. I'm sure that a lot of you waited for this." Rapmon said.
"I'm sure that Taehyung and the fans waited for this," Hobi laughed as Taehyung started bouncing around.
The rapline had to calm him down before he started to reveal any lyrics of the song.
"It's a Cypher made by a very famous American producer. Next, Am I wrong? It's a song that you will love," Rapmon went on. "It's a song similar to Crow Tit or Dope. Next, 21st Century Girl is like what we did in the beginning. It'd be nice if you remember our old albums. The next track is Two! Three! And there's a sub-title, Hope there are better days. I think you can guess from the title. It's our first official fan song!"
The group whooped and applauded.
"Army fans will cry," Hobi whined.
"It'd be amazing if we could sing it with all our fans at the concert. Please look forward to it. Two! Three! is super nice. Last song. Interlude: Wings. It's like the title of our album. It's a genre called hip house, which we've never tried before. It's a very new song. I'm sure that it will captivate many fans as well. That concludes the track list of our second official album, Wings,"
As the broadcast went on, the group took a nap while they showed the jacket shooting of WINGS. A highlight that got fans laughing was Jennie falling down the steps.
-------
She took photos lying down on a pair of red steps.
"Never did I think I would be taking photos on steps. This is a first. I like it," she said as she gave the photographer her undivided attention.
Once she got the OK that she was done with photos, she cheered and excitedly got up.
"Yay! Thank you!" she took a step down but then lost her footing and fell hard on her butt, all the way down to the end of the steps.
The staff was startled but relaxed when they heard her laugh.
Rubbing her butt, she groaned. "My ass...I'm okay!"
-------
After the showing was over, the camera showed the members sleeping and Taehyung sneezing loudly which made Jimin giggle and Jen wake up immediately.
"Good Grief, Tae." she chuckled as her heart rate calmed down after being startled by him.
Standing in front of the camera, Rapmon talked about waking up the group and starting the next part of the show.
"Everyone, get up! Stop sleeping!" he called out.
Beyonce's Crazy in Love came on and so did the lights to get everyone moving.
"What is this?" Hobi got up and walked up to him.
"Show yourselves," he exclaimed.
Hobi started dancing around and Suga joined in.
"What in the world...?" Jennie got up and watched the boys dance around.
Once the song changed, Jin and Jimin danced in front of the camera, showing off their sexy side.
"It's really dirty," Hobi laughed while Jin blew a kiss to the viewers.
"V, Jungkook, are you ready?" Rapmon asked when the song changed to C & C music factory's Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody dance now).
The two stood there as the song played but suddenly made funny faces and danced, making everyone crack up.
"Jennie, you and I together!" Rapmon called her out as 'Never Gonna Give You Up' by Rick Astley came on.
"This song," she laughed as she watched Rapmon dance around her. She joined in, dancing like Rick in the music video.
After the rest of the broadcast and the clock turned 12am, the album and music video dropped.
-------
Jennie couldn't sleep as she wondered what the public would think of BTS' new work. Being nervous about the reactions, she chose to avoid social media, not quite ready for the feedback. With the curiosity getting the better of her, Jennie went on Twitter to see that everybody was in a frenzy, praising Bangtan for the bops and visuals of the comeback. Thanks to the undeniable chemistry of Taehyung and Jen, #Taennie trended worldwide as everyone talked about their scenes together and came up with theories. Jennie was proud that her acting lessons and taking her sister's advice were paying off and she had a blast filming with her best friend.
'WHAT THE HELL is going on between V and Jennie!?'
'That didn't look like acting, wtf is happeninggg!?'
'Taennie shippers we WON! This music video is about them!'
'HOW can she be so calm when he's doing all THAT to her!? I'D MELT!'
'They should've kissed'
'Evermore made me cry. Omg I felt that. The chorus is a MOOD!'
'Okay, puberty hit Jennie like a truck. She looks so mature for this comeback. Like she's about to be 19 and looking this fine af?!'
As she read more tweets, she noticed that quite a few fans were bummed that she was not in Lost and chose to tweet about it even though she explained she wasn't involved vocally during the live.
'Please don't be upset about Lost. I did more things behind the scenes this time. Just trust me and enjoy the new music. Everything is A-OK :) #Jen'
That seemed to ease their frustrations. But then she saw that others were questioning Jungkook's Begin because he only mentioned brothers and not sister.
'I'm bummed Jennie isn't mentioned in Begin. Jungkook said brothers. You have a sister too, y'know!'
'Why did you forget about Jennie, Jungkook?'
'I hope they don't hate each other'
'It's official, he hates her. That's why he didn't write about her'
She laughed at the ridiculous accusations.
Jeesh, people like to panic about the little things. It was clear that things were taken out of context and some bad seeds in the fandom were thinking negatively about him not adding her to the song. They were making it bigger than what it was.
On Instagram, she went to her comments after posting a celebration photo of the release of WINGS and typed:
'Lol, why does everyone think I'm upset that Jungkook didn't sing about me in Begin? It's okay! Relax, please. We are working on a song together. We'll release it soon! Please, do not be angry at Jungkook. Give him love and enjoy his solo song. He worked very hard, '
And again, she managed to ease everyone's frustrations as they quickly moved on to more positive things about the comeback.
Blood, Sweat & Tears had become extremely successful. It started to break YouTube records for a K-Pop group and it became the most liked video on the V-app. They even got an ALL KILL on the music charts. Bangtan was beyond grateful for their achievements so far and was excited about performing at music shows.
Later on the day, BTS was getting ready to be filmed for a Bangtan bomb as they were going to watch the release of Blood, Sweat & Tears.
"I have no idea how I look in the music video but we're going to find out today," Jennie said.
"I still think it should've been me instead of Taehyung," Jungkook complained playfully after mentioning that he saw how much of a hot topic Taennie was for the music video. "Everyone was talking about it,"
Taehyung giggled. "I'm sorry, Jungkook."
"Jungkook, you know that wouldn't have worked. It's about storytelling," Suga pointed out.
Jennie didn't know how much of her scenes with Taehyung were put in the music video but it was clear to be enough for the music video's rating to be at 15 instead of 12. Sitting in between Jin and Suga, she watched as Jimin pressed play and turned up the volume.
After the beginning, it showed Jennie running down the hallway as the boys pointed out how beautiful she looked with her hair flowing. And when she opened the door, it revealed the boys on the couch. As they watched, the group praised Jin for his facial expressions. And once the song started, everyone raved about how good Jimin looked.
"Ooo, okay Jimin!" Jennie cheered as she watched him start the song.
"Whoa, Jimin Hyung is sexy," Jungkook added.
When it showed Suga seated on the chair, rapping and then walking around, Jennie said, "Look at Suga, looking cool,"
"He does, doesn't he? Woah and look at Rap Monster," Jin pointed.
"Rapmon has changed quite a bit this time, hasn't he?" Hobi mentioned. "His gestures and facial expressions,"
"V! That's a bit sexy, aye?" Rapmon asked when the music video showed V's solo scenes.
After the chorus, Jennie was shown with V and she covered her mouth.
"AHHHHHH!" the boys yell, shooked at what they did on camera.
"Jennifer Walker!?" Rapmon shouted.
"Jennie and V! What is happening here? What is this?" Hobi exclaimed.
"I told them that I felt like I was interrupting something when we filmed at the table. They have good chemistry," Jin mentioned with a laugh.
"Very good chemistry," Suga nodded.
The boys started screaming when they saw they were about to kiss and then the scene transitioned to one of her solo shots in the garden.
"This is what happened when we left early that day!?" Rapmon looked on in disbelief.
"I didn't think a lot of that would be in the music video," she grinned sheepishly.
"It was really easy to film with Ennie," V mentioned and glanced her way as they smiled at one another.
"Agreed,"
As they watched J-Hope in the video, Rapmon enthused about how much energy he had.
"Jennie has definitely changed a lot for this comeback. The new hair color, and everything. She is doing so well!" Suga shouted proudly and shook her, making her laugh.
"Whew! That gaze she did," Hobi was impressed.
"That's one of my favorite parts! How smooth you were with it," Jennie told Suga once the part of him pretending to lift a drink was on the screen.
"One shot!" Jungkook shouted while the rest talked about how cool he looked.
When it showed Jimin exposing his shoulder, everyone yelled and hyped him up. Jimin tried to explain that it was an accident but it just seemed a little too convenient for Bangtan to believe. As they got to the part with V covering Jin's eyes, they brought up how it was supposed to be Suga doing that.
"It could've been a disaster if I did it!" Suga exclaimed.
"I'm still mad they made the good guy lose," Jennie shook her head. "I could have saved Jin. I could have saved him. But noooo they had him fall into temptation,"
"You fell into temptation too," V brought up.
"No, I didn't!"
"With me, you did,"
With the boys laughing at their banter, Jennie stared at him in disbelief.
"Wow~! I resisted. You saw that I ran away and resisted. I tried my best to save Jin,"
"You tried your best, Jennie," Jin grinned.
As it showed V with his broken wings, Rapmon pointed out that he was not the Taehyung he used to be, which made the whole group laugh out loud. After the video finished, the group cheered and talked about how great it looked.
---------
While juggling the comeback, JenKook still had to go to school and had been dealing with a parenting class they had been assigned to. The teacher gave the class a project which consisted of taking care of a robot baby. When the teacher paired them up and gave them a male Korean baby, the Golden Duo thought it was a joke that they had to be idol parents for a grade while doing promotions.
As long as the baby's needs were rated 80 and above, they would pass the project. If not, they would get a low grade. The robot baby looked real and moved and sounded like a real baby. Its reactions were natural, it laughed, it cried, it did its business and even burped. The teacher seemed pretty serious about the concept of parenting and was strict about making sure each group took great care of their assigned baby.
"Wait wait wait, are you serious? Your teacher gave you a baby to take care of? During promotions?" Jimin laughed as they watched the young couple bring the baby home in a small baby seat. "This is too cute,"
"JenKook. Idol parents. This is going to be good," Hobi grinned.
"Yeah. That's a big responsibility. I hope you pass the project," Rapmon said.
"I can't wait to see how you two handle the baby when we go to music shows," Suga added.
"Got a name for him?" Jin asked as the members gushed over how cute the baby looked.
"Not yet. We're still deciding," Jen said and started to hear the baby cry.
"Hyung, what did you do?" Jungkook exclaimed.
"I-I didn't do anything!" Jin backed away, startled by the loud baby cries.
Taking the baby out of the seat, Jennie walked into her room to try to settle him down.
"Gosh, I dunno how my mom did this three times," she murmured and gently laid the baby on her bed to check what he needed. "Ah, so you're hungry,"
Jungkook came into the room with a large bag of baby supplies provided by the teacher and the baby seat. "He's hungry?"
"Yep, the thing is showing that he's hungry. Whip up a bottle, please?"
He nodded and went through the bag. "Could I feed him?" he asked.
"Yeah, go ahead," she gently gave the baby to him after he sat on the bed next to her.
She watched as the baby's hunger went up as he fed him.
"This is weird," she chuckled. "But he's so adorable,"
"He is. This is going to be an interesting project. What should we name him?" he asked her as he held the small baby in his arms. The sound of it happily making baby sounds, content with being held made him smile. "Don't say Steve Rogers,"
"Gosh darn it," she playfully acted upset.
"You seriously want to name him that?"
"Haha, no silly,"
He let out a breath of relief. "Good,"
"Wow. Our dog's name is Tony and I didn't complain,"
"Because Tony is better,"
"Jungkook. Don't start this again. Your points suck," she bickered with him. "Another J name to match with us. Jordan? Or were you thinking of a Korean name?"
"We can stick with Jordan," he nodded.
"So Jordan Jeon Walker. Something simple. One day we'll have plenty of time to think of names in the future," she blurted out as she rambled.
He instantly looked up and started to smile at the thought. "What did you say?"
"N-nothing. I was just rambling," she felt her face flush.
He chuckled softly. "I'm going to take a shower. You all right with him?"
"Jordan and I will be just fine. It looks like he's going to be sleeping soon so try not to make too much noise. Who knows how sensitive this baby will be to noise,"
After Jungkook showered, he took over to watch the baby while Jennie showered and got ready to go to bed. Walking out of the bathroom, she smiled at the adorable sight of him sleeping with the baby on his chest. She couldn't help but take a few photos to show him later.
----------
Once October 13th arrived, which was also Jimin's birthday, Bangtan got ready to go to Mnet Countdown for their comeback stage of Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Before departing, JenKook had to bring the baby along to continue their assignment. Jennie made sure Jordan was well fed as she gathered her things and Jungkook thought it was a good idea to change Jordan's shoes.
"There we go. He looks great!" the Golden Maknae grinned, showing off the baby.
"Are you kidding? Timbs?" she stared at him, unimpressed.
"Yeah! The coolest baby at SOPA!"
"No,"
"No? He's wearing Timbs!"
"He should be wearing Nike! I put Nikes on him for a reason. Why did you change his shoes?"
"That's so basic. He'll stand out more wearing the Timbs,"
"Did you just call my favorite brand basic?"
"Truth hurts, honey," he shrugged, being a smartass once again while V and Jimin watched in the background, laughing.
Jennie let out an unamused laugh and nodded. "Jungkook, no baked goods for a month," she grabbed her bag and walked past him.
Her statement caused him to become Jungshooked as he held the baby and walked after her.
"Shit, wait, I'm sorry!"

Muse || Vaas Montenegro
Warning(s): The Pocky Game, bored Vaas, OC (Liv), Vaas being Vaas, short one-shot.
An unexpected storm blew in from the southwest, hitting the Rook Islands like a freight train. Liv found herself caught in it, hiding in her cage at the outpost like a stray. The wind was so strong that it made the rain feel like needles were pricking her skin. She hugged her body close, but it made no difference. And to make matters worse, Vaas was bored.
Liv never thought she would see the day. On top of being rather clever and unpredictable, Vaas was also creative, even though his ideas were atrocious. She truly believed that braving the storm, as opposed to braving him, was the smartest option; the lesser of two evils.
This is why she was distraught when Carlos forced her from the cage and took her to the hut that Vaas was currently shut up in. At the front door, she turned to the pirate, pleading to him with her eyes.
“It's such a beautiful day. Can't I just sit in my cage and enjoy it?”
Carlos gave her a look of disbelief like she had grown an extra head.
“You have finally lost your fucking mind.”
She would lose more than her mind if she was Vaas’ last option for entertainment.
“He's waiting,” Carlos mentioned, motioning toward the hut.
Liv tossed him an angry look, then plodded through the front door. As she turned the corner into the bedroom, she saw Vaas sitting at the desk in front of the laptop, watching Zack Snyder's ‘Dawn of the Dead’; it was either a pirated copy, or he found it in someone's suitcase. While he seemed content with the movie, he was bouncing his leg like a stressed-out parent beneath the desktop. He cut his eyes to her and opened his mouth, but whatever he was in the process of saying was lost as he noticed the state of her person, soaked from head to toe.
“Were you raised by animals? Go change your fucking clothes. You are getting water on my floor,” Vaas chided. He motioned behind him to a pile of suitcases across the room. Some of them were new. “¿Ya nadie tiene modales (does no one have manners anymore)?”
Liv tightened her jaw. It was not like she wanted to entertain him. She was content with sitting out in the damn storm. Without protesting, she strode over to the suitcases and rummaged through them, choosing an oversized t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants that she could tie off. As she was standing, she noticed a familiar rectangular box amongst the bathroom products.
“No way,” she uttered, picking it up. “Look what I found.”
Vaas paused the movie and peeked over his shoulder, having to squint to read the words printed on the front.
“The fuck is Pocky?”
“It's a snack from Japan, but you can buy them in convenience stores in America,” Liv answered. She looked at the expiration date and grinned in excitement. “Someone must have brought them on the flight over. I love these things. Chocolate is my favorite, but the strawberry sticks are great too.”
Besides movies, Vaas had never seen her so enthralled in something. He had no idea she liked sweets. He snorted and watched her put them down on the bed, before hurrying into the next room with her arms full of clothes. When she reappeared, she snatched up the pink box and sat on the edge of the bed.
“Do you want one?” She asked as she tore open the lid.
Why the fuck not. Vaas shrugged his shoulders. Taking one from her, he took a tentative bite. It was not bad for a biscuit stick with an artificial coating.
“This gets you wet, no?”
Liv felt her face heat up.
“I don't know what it is about them, but they are like crack.”
Vaas snorted.
“My friends and I used to play the Pocky Game with them. Invite a big group and see who would bitch out first,” she added. “It's an innocent game, though it led to a few weird hookups. And there's even a drinking game.”
Vaas could not imagine what sort of game she was referring to. The name seemed ridiculous enough.
“Show me.”
Liv felt her heart race.
“I don't think you'd like it. I mean…it's a game for teenagers.”
“Fóllame (fuck me). You brought it up,” Vaas pointed out. He switched from the chair to the bed, snatching the box from her. “Show me. Come on.”
Liv tightened her jaw. Why did she have to mention the game?
“So, you take a stick and put one end in your mouth, and I put the other end in mine. We have to maintain eye contact as we each eat to the middle. If the stick breaks, or one of us bitches out, then we lose. It's a tie if…if we kiss.”
Vaas grinned. “Lady and the Tramp, no?”
Liv nodded. It was exactly like that. She figured the concept of the game would sound childish to Vaas, that he would turn it down, but when he slid a stick from the box and placed the coated end against her lips, her heart raced.
“Be a good girl, querida (darling). Ábreme (open up for me).”
She nearly whined. As much as she did not want to anger him, she was nervous. Vaas was in no way a coward. She knew that he would take it to the end and kiss her. But was she ready for that? She was not sure.
“There are other games we can–”
“Abre tu boca por mí (open your mouth for me).” Interjected Vaas.
Hesitantly, she did so. Vaas slid the coated end into her mouth, then placed the other end into his mouth. His eyes kept hers as they began to eat the Pocky, but even he could see how nervous she was. Her pale skin was red as though she had sat hours in the sun and her blue eyes were glossy. When their lips came close to touching, he reached up and flicked the stick hard, breaking it.
Liv sat back in shock. Why did he do that? She took the remaining stick from her mouth and tried to ask him, but Vaas gently squeezed her cheeks, puckering her lips; she reminded him of a Naso Tang.
“First kisses have to be special, no?” He winked, then released her.
Tossing her a stick, Vaas stood with a grin.
“Like crack, you say.”
He knew Liv would snap him out of his boredom. She was his muse after all.
It was later that she learned what Vaas did with the remaining sticks, playing a twisted version of the Pocky Game with a few prisoners who were unfortunate enough to not have buyers. Their partners were not humans, however, but vicious crocodiles and cassowaries.
Liv was fortunate, she realized, and never whined again about having to entertain Vaas.

Hiiiiiiiiii bb,
Maybe you could write about Eddie being absolute shit at beerpong and he loses to his crush and he gets so mad that he pouts all night about it. 🤔😅
🤡 @trashmouth-richie
Ahahahaha fuck you but yes I'll write it.
Warnings: language, drinking, characters are around 21-22 years old
WC: 802
--
"Hah!" you exclaim as you sink the ping pong ball into the final cup. "We win!" You turn and give Robin a high-five, sticking your tongue out at Steve and Eddie.
"You said you were good at this," Eddie hisses at his teammate, raking his fingers through his curls in frustration.
Steve just shrugs. "I was, back in high school. Guess I'm out of practice." He reaches into the cooler and pulls out two more beers, offering one to Eddie. "To losing," he holds up his can, frowning when Eddie doesn't do the same. "Dude, what crawled up your ass?"
"Nothing," Eddie huffs, taking a swig. His eyes flick over to you, already engrossed in a conversation with some guy he vaguely remembers from Hawkins High. You're laughing and taking small sips of your drink.
"Oh, I see," Steve smirks. "You're upset because you wanted to impress your little girlfriend, huh?"
"Not my girlfriend," Eddie mumbles, glancing at you again when he hears you giggle. God, what was so funny that you were still talking to this loser?
Steve sighs, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't get it. A few months ago, you were fine with just being her friend. Now you're getting all bent out of shape over a stupid game of pong?"
Before Eddie can respond, he feels an arm sling around his shoulder. "Aw, whassa matter, Romeo?" Robin teases, words slightly slurred. "Sad without your Juliet?"
"Shut up, both of you!" Eddie undoes himself from Robin's grasp. "'M gonna take a leak, and then I'm outta here." He pushes through the crowd of people and stumbles to the bathroom.
Eddie never used to think twice about impressing you; it's not that he didn't care, but you two were just friends. He didn't overthink his jokes or get self-conscious about his hair, because he didn't need to. But that all changed a few months ago: he was sick as a dog, curled up in bed with the worst flu he'd ever had. You'd showed up with some homemade soup and crackers, staying for hours to make sure that he drank enough water and took medicine to keep his fever down. After that, he saw you in a whole new light. He never knew someone could care about him like you do. And it doesn't hurt that you're gorgeous, either.
He leaves the bathroom, hastily wiping his hands on his jeans, and nearly bumps into someone. "Watch it, du--oh, hi," he breathes out, unable to meet your gaze. "Sorry 'bout that."
"Y'okay?" you ask, concern evident by your tone. Eddie practically melts when you grab his hand to pull him back towards you. "What's going on?"
"'M fine." He tries a small smile. "Just tired." That part isn't a complete lie; he's tired of watching opportunities to be with the girl of his dreams pass by.
You give a little laugh. "You can't pull one over on me, Eddie Munson," you say. "Now, tell me what's really on your mind."
"I, uh, really thought I had that beer pong game in the bag." Another half-truth.
"You're upset because of that?" You furrow your brows. "'S not like we bet any money."
Eddie massages the nape of his neck. "I looked like an idiot," he supplies. "Kept tryin' to get the stupid fuckin' ball in the stupid fuckin' cup..."
"You didn't look like an idiot; we were just having fun," you reassure him. "If anything, you look like an idiot now, getting all pouty about it." You pause. "Wait...were you trying to show off for someone?" When he looks away, you clap your hands excitedly. "Who is it? C'mon, I won't tell." You mime zipping your lips and throwing away the key.
"No one." Eddie shakes his head.
"Liar! Look, you're totally blushing. Tell me tell me tell m--"
"It's you, okay!" he blurts out, unable to contain his secret any longer. "I was gonna--ugh, I was gonna say something like, 'you owe the winner a date,' or some cheesy shit like that, like in those dumb romance movies you watch--"
"They are not dumb!" you retort, giving him a playful shove. "But I am gonna steal that line. So, Eddie, you owe the winner a date."
His eyebrows shoot up in surprise. "Really? You wanna go on a date with me?"
"Of course!" you say with a smile. "You think I'd risk the flu for just anyone?"
Eddie beams, pulling the keys to his van from his jacket pocket. "What are we waiting for, then? Wanna grab some burgers at Benny's with me?"
"I'd love to," you return his smile, then bring your lips to his ear to whisper, "maybe after, we can go back to your place and you can show me what you are good at."

Ooooh okay! Headcanon for the infamous TenRen Tickle Tag Team (my fav bois)
They often have Tickle fights amongst one another to see who's the better tickler, but when another hashira walks in on them (ie Giyu, Sanemi, or Muichiro), they hold a contest between each other and use that hashira as a guinea pig to see who's the better tickler
Can't wait to see what u come up with🫶🏾💕
And stay hydrated 🥤
Headcanons To Dabbles: Officially CLOSED!
JKLejajkekjrkjarkjekjr YES! The famous TenRen tickle team is back at it! :D Granted, I kinda forgot to add their own tickle fight into the mix, but they're still just as chaotic as ever! I've gotcha covered!
Stay hydrated and have a great day!
CW: Swearing
“Oh Pa-LEASE! You really think you’re better than me?” Tengen flapped his hands with a puffed noise, dismissing Rengoku’s claim like he was waving away a fart. “Your head must be screwed backwards today, Kyo.”
“Not at all! I stand by what I said, Tengen.” Rengoku smiled, unfazed by the commentary of his companion. “If anything- I believe the glitter you dazzle yourself up with has gone bad. Why else would you doubt my judgment?”
“Are you two fighting?” Muichiro asked as he walked in, seeming to come out of his cloudy thoughts then. “Is it about dumplings again?”
“Not that serious, Mui. See, Kyojuro here thinks he’s the better tickler of our dynamic duo!” Tengen waved an accusatory hand at the blonde. “He’s lost his mind, don’t you think?” “Now Tengen, not in front of the children.” Rengoku chided, wagging a finger. “You’re just huffy because I’m right.”
“Over my flashy left nu-”
“Oi! Watch your mouth!” Sanemi covered Muichiro’s ears from behind, glaring at the oversized Hashira. “Good lord- Shinobu leaves for ONE afternoon and you two lose all sense.”
Tengen and Rengoku blinked. Then they looked at eachother.
“Flip a coin?” Tengen offered.
“No need. I already know which one I’ll grab.” Rengoku smiled, eyes dancing. “Ready?”
“What?” Muichiro asked, ears still covered.
Sanemi, who’s ears weren’t covered, made a short sound of “OH SHI-” Before he was tackled by Rengoku, easily tossed into the nearest training mat. “Don’t you fucking dare-GEHahhahahahhahaha!” He was laughing almost instantly as fingers attacked his sides.
“Tengen! An idea?” Rengoku called over his shoulder, eyes dancing with glee. “Let’s prove it now! We’ll see who the better tickler is!”
“Oh, you wanna go? Fine then!” Tengen, who had subtly made his way over to Muichiro, tugged the smaller Hashira by his uniform before he could run. “Shall we, Muichiro?”
“....Oh.” The Mist Hashria blinked, coming to. “Oh.” He said again when he realized what was happening. “....Sure, go for it.” He shrugged, accepting his fate.
“That’s what I wanted to hear!” Tengen laughed, easily scooping the small boy up in his arms, fingers flying over his ribs and earning a stream of giggles. “Very well- game on, Rengoku! First to make them squeal for mercy wins!”
“I dihiihihihihin’t agrheehhehhee uhuhuuhuhp for thhihihihihiihs!” Sanemi cackled out, cheeks pink and eyes squeezed shut.
“Do you wish for me to stop?” Rengoku asked, starting to pause.
“Fuhuuhuhhuck no! Wehehhhehe’re gohohoohoohnna behhehehhat thahahhahhahat ohohohohoversihihihized rohoohohoohohock!” He declared, sending Rengoku into a fit of giggles.
“Very well! Let the Great Tickle Slayer Battle commence!”

Unpopular opinion rant incoming:
I did not enjoy Baldurs Gate 3
Before anything else I will admit I am biased, as strategy turn based games aren't something I'm usually into to begin with. I mostly ended up playing it because my partners and a friend are SUPER into the game and wanted to do a 4 player run. I do have 30 hours on a solo run I tried to get used to the game with, so I have a decent bit of experience with how it's supposed to run as a single player but I'm not judging companion stories or anything because I haven't completed them.
I do understand why people like BG3, and I don't wanna rain on anyone's parade for a very critically acclaimed game, but I do have some thoughts that I just need to get out of my head, so if you like the game and don't wanna hear me complain about it just scroll on ahead. If you do want to hear me complain, I'd love to hear if anyone else has had the same thoughts, because genuinely I've not really had anyone to talk to that hasn't been head-over-heels for it. (Actual thoughts under the cut)
-----------------
With that out of the way, for starters BG3 is a very impressive game. From a technical perspective, from a voice acting quality perspective, the sheer amount of tiny tiny details, etc... it is IMPRESSIVE. Too impressive, I'd almost have to say. Because, despite being impressed by it, I did not have FUN playing the game. For all its details it doesn't draw me in. For all the technical marvel, it's just too janky. It's all of the rules of DND and none of the immersion or fun
I would love to have had a functioning camera position that didn't give me whiplash whenever a new character in the combat of 20+ NPCs decides to do so much as shuffle to the left. It feels like pulling teeth when trying to select/interact with anything, god forbid a reaction happens while you're trying to attack and you just completely lose the action bc the interruption to movement pauses everything and screws u up. I'd love to be able to jump without going through two menu screens and a map to just hop over a gap(I'm never complaining about the Dark Souls jump being too complicated ever again). Also everything moves so slow, I would kill for a fucking Sprint button.
I would have liked anything approaching a streamlined combat system that didn't take a long ass time to set up a move that takes six seconds to play out, and then wait for ten minutes literally doing nothing while the rest of the NPCs in initiative whip the viewpoint around and get it stuck in walls and corpses so I can't even see what's happening while I can't do anything for the rest of the round
A lesser gripe, but just a bizarre choice to not do: Id like to hear the character voice I chose in character creation for cutscenes, instead of just background ambient lines. Like, if the last dragon age game (from 2014 mind you) can have a voiced main character with multiple voice options, this new game that has unique voice lines for every goddamn squirrel on the map and ALREADY PAID VOICE ACTORS TO VOICE THE MAIN CHARACTER TO BEGIN WITH can probably afford to do so. Hell, I'd like some background music that isn't just the tenth rendition of Down By The River in a different key. The bard music is all gorgeous, why couldn't they have reused some of those compositions as ambient music for different locations?
This is a MASSIVE game, and what they've put into it is definitely admirable, but like. Not in the ways that make a game breathable or immersive? The choices in where they've decided to dedicate the anal level of detail seems misguided from a just general player standpoint; There's some gorgeous settings in the game, but I was distracted every time by getting frustrated that I couldn't even get a more-than-vague look at any of the scenery I actually enjoyed because the camera is so limited in its angles. So I can't take a good look around what should be a beautiful temple that I'd love to see closer, but I can individually inspect every moldy apple and tax form on a random dinner table instead. It's a vast open world, but the character models have very clearly defined paths they have to stay within. The amount of unique NPCs is insane, but the mechanics themselves TREAT them as NPCs(i.e., resurrection rules), and they don't react to PCs unless ur doing Violence or Crimes (even og skyrim had NPCs have comments on if u weren't like wearing clothes, for instance). Every shelf and bag and nook and cranny are searchable, but that gets overwhelming very quickly as you have to choose between taking like an hour of real time to clear a cluttered area and possibly find something important but more likely just end up with a bajillion rotten carrots, or move on but have the anxiety of knowing you've possibly missed something vital. There's a million options you can take at any moment with any object or character, but there's rarely anything indicating what will be vital later for general world stuff. But then with the main plot (the Emperor, Raphael, the crèche) it felt very railroaded in the sense that TECHNICALLY you could try and choose between outcomes, but your choices don't actually matter because you die if you choose The Wrong Option (or end up in effectively death sentence combat) and will end up where they want you to go regardless.
BG3 isn't a game I want to spend time playing; it's not a world I can wander around and appreciate the beauty of and get lost in the soundtrack or the environments. The whole combat system is incredibly frustrating to manage, and just feels like Hurry Up And Wait. I'm not gonna knock the romance parts of the game, I've heard good things and haven't gotten far enough in any of em to have an educated opinion on, so really the only thing the game has to offer in spades OTHER than romance is replayability. Which normally I would say is a good thing, but for how long of a game it is and how non immersive the gameplay and world feel, it really just ends up being a game of fucking around and seeing how many things you can get an alternate dialogue for or create new stats around. Like, this is great for completionist folks who love collecting achievements and making the most busted crunchy math-based builds possible, but Baldurs Gate 3 to me just isn't a game I can sit down and have Fun(TM) relaxing and playing.
It's a game that I feel absolutely missed the forest for the trees.
So anyways, essay complete. I've only slept like 6 hours total in the last three days so a lot of this may or may not even make sense. But on so much sleep deprivation finishing this game and realizing I was just frustrated with it instead of actually feeling accomplished for having finished it, it was the final straw and I just needed to get the thoughts down somewhere
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
#it's 6am I still haven't slept (thanks work and insomnia) and I may delete this tomorrow#I'm probably being unreasonable with my frustrations but they have frustrated me nonetheless#and it's my blog so no one can stop me from going on a silly little videogame rant#anyway thanks for listening yall

A Solemn Farewell (Word Game)
Fandom: Blackstar Theater Starless
Pairing: Takami x fem!Reader
Warning: Heavy angst
Requested by: Anon
Prompt: Hello, just want to send in a request for your new word game :D (and thank you so much for all the writings that you do they're all great). Takami with the three words Rain | Eternity | Goodbye please and thank you ( ╹▽╹ )
A/N: Ahh, anon, I loved writing for your request! I hope you like it, and thank you so much! 😁
Word Count: 754
———————————————
He stood in the rain with a bouquet in his right hand and a white umbrella with Sakura blossoms in his left. The umbrella obscured his face, making it difficult to see his expressions. "I apologize for being late. I hope you weren't waiting long."
No response.
Takami chuckled, "Seems as though you are upset with me. I might have to do all the talking today. All I ask is that you listen."
He clutched onto the umbrella tightly as memories flooded him. "Do you remember this umbrella...? Ah, right. I should not beat around the bush and get straight to the point. My objective was to keep an eye on Starless and certain members. I had a set of rules to abide by, and one of the first rules was not to fall in love. I thought I would have no trouble following the rule, but then you came along."
Takami paused when the pelting rain hit the top of the umbrella. "You better not catch a cold," he moved closer to you and slightly pushed the umbrella towards you. "Where was I? Right, the rule. When you first smiled at me, I wasn't sure how to react. I couldn't understand how my heart felt heavy and light simultaneously. The more time I spent with you, the more I understood the answer to my question - I was in love."
Buzz. Buzz. Takami mumbled an apology, struggling to hold the bouquet and umbrella in one hand while fishing for his phone in his jacket pocket with his right hand. "(Y/n), your glare is burning a hole in the side of my head," he sighed. "I turned my phone off. Please stop glaring. I never believed such words as love can happen anytime, anywhere, and the feeling is out of one's control. After meeting you, though, I have to agree. My feelings were out of my control. While my heart drew closer to you, my mind screamed at my heart to stop. I can't believe I'm saying such things...it sounded a lot better in my mind."
He shifted his gaze to his feet and silently watched the raindrops crash into his shoes. There was so much he wanted to tell you, but Takami worried you would get bored. He had finally managed to convince you, rather, convince himself to visit you and set everything straight once and for all.
"My involvement in shady businesses should have pushed me to maintain distance from people, from those I cared about. But...my heart was weak in front of you and clouded my judgment. I shouldn't have involved you in my life. If I hadn't, we wouldn't be...in this situation. (Y/n), I said I wouldn't beat around the bush, but that's all I have been doing. It's time I get straight to the point."
His throat felt dry, and his hands shaky, but he could no longer run away from the truth. "This is a final goodbye, (y/n). I finally found them. Each and every one of them, and this time...I won't lose."
Takami clutched onto the bouquet but quickly lightened his grip when one of the flowers caressed his skin. "Oh, I nearly forgot to give this to you. Here..."
Your boyfriend placed the bouquet on your lap and the umbrella beside you to shield you from the fierce rain. "Thank you for lending me your favorite umbrella, and I'm sorry for keeping it for this long. Goodbye, (y/n)."
He turned on his heels and walked away without looking back at you. Everything that happened was his fault. He knew he shouldn't have gotten you involved, and though he promised to protect you, he couldn't keep his promise. But this time, he would keep his promise to you - the promise he made to make them pay, no matter the consequences.
Once Takami was outside the park, he stopped and raised his head to the sky. The cool raindrops sizzled against his boiling skin. There was one thing he didn't have the heart to tell you.
"We might meet again, (y/n). Maybe in a couple of days," he whispered, slightly turning his head to look back at the park. "I have spent days planning, scheming, and gathering information. It won't be easy, but I will get revenge...for you."
Takami laughed as loudly as he could, his eyes never leaving the dark, metallic sign above the park gate that read "Graveyard."
