i miss my childhood neighbors
#there was this older couple. i forgot their names. but i remember their dogs name. a very energetic border collie named sophie#they had this hobbie making art using cut up bottle corks and toothpicks#i remember 5th grade science fair having no idea what to do. completely stumped bc i didnt want to do it#and i thought maybe i can talk about different shapes and use a 3D diagram. i told them about this and they were happy to help#i was so relieved. i had fun doing it. cutting the corks. sticking toothpicks in the cork slices to make a shape#it was the lamest plainest project ive ever done but i did it#i loved racing against sophie when we all walked her on the trail. i had to fight for my life to hold on to her leash#when i havent seen her in a while shed sniff me everywhere and jump on me#i had this white fleece color on this denim jacket and she'd be all over in and i wondered if it was bc it looked like a sheep#well now i know those dogs have the innate behavior so maybe she did think it was a sheep XD#i miss them. they didnt have a kid i know of so they liked it when i hung out. im so glad they helped me and i miss them#man now i noticed me and my friends really liked to bother ppl who had dogs lmaoo the odd group of ppl#childless couples and this one single lady who moved in. just loved to come in and pet their dogs and walk them and talk abt them#i miss my neighbors
