the anthropomorphization of unpleasant from this fandom has genuinely WRECKED its character and made it. not that unique compared to the other npcs. like i dont know it being this like fucking gooner-type character is so awful? and i really hate it? if anything that trope given to unpleasant should have stayed with scag and ended with her, since she’s a genuine npc with more writing and thoughts attached

i saw people bring up this point again and im glad but HELLO!!!!! LETS STOP JUST ASSOCIATING LAMPERT AS WALLTER AND MARK'S SON? EVEN WHEN IT HAS BEEN DISCREDITED /MULTIPLE/ TIMES? like DAMN this fandom only attributes characteristics if it is attached to literally anyone else besides that person. its horrible. people NEED to learn to find the balance between having fun with that headcanon while also acknowledging lampert as his own separate person that is (to be quite frank) not even associated with them that much in canon

(+ people saying that the headcanon of lampert being wallmark's son is canon and fucking REPLYING saying to people who ship wallter & lampert or mark & lampert that they shouldn't. you are fucking embarrassing)

more of a fandom thing but yall ship too much lmfaoo. like guys i promise, you can interpret some of these relationships as genuine friendships i promise you'll live. can we stop with the rhetoric that just because two characters have good dynamics with each other that means that theyre in love (heavily side-eyeing protoscag and lampfected and milby dare i say)

the regretevator fandom is EXACTLY like the phighting fandom with how shipping is handled. i mean this in not a positive way

people gotta stop relying on the wiki for information man. so much lore from yeucc's tumblr has been retconned and at this point, when there's now WRITERS for the game that are actually keeping tabs, all if not the good majority of what is said on the wiki should be taken with a grain of salt. nowadays the lore is unpredictable, and only a select few (by few i mean like. 4 out of the 17 npcs) has had their lore expanded on significantly

general facts i think is fine so long as theres an annotation backing it but my point still stands . moreso with lore generally

also saw this point being brought up in the qrts but the demonization and infantilization of certain characterss (cough spud pilby pest and poob) is like. wild. i dunno i can't say much since i'm very fortunate enough to not have seen that much but my god is it prevalent from what people are saying

with pest especially since he has npd and aspd i do think that. people generally associating him as evil has NOT been the greatest thing, especially since it reduces him to a stigma of people with personality disorders which is horrific and terrifying. idk what goes on in the background but i feel like the fandom + yeucc & the people working on regretevator should have done more research on the disorders and consulted people who do have these issues better instead of using those labels haphazardly

another thing i will and always will be vocal (dog on) about the axosun team is them keeping gnarpy. like there was no reason to keep xem in other than for revenue gain let's be honest and True to ourselves. the philosophy "ohh but you can separate the art from the artist!!!!" i feel does not really apply to this scenario cause xe got a whole ass revamp despite the obvious fact that it STILL is gnarpy, a character created by a bad person regardless of the ownership change and discredited history. its the underlying thought that they were essentially built off a bad origin if this makes any sense. idk i think it wouldve been better for everyone if xe were just removed ENTIRELY from the game but. you do you i guess

Can u stop trying to start useless drama around regretevator? I know you're probably just a kid trying to start stuff, but it's getting annoying.

You NEVER provided evidence of the developers so called "bullying" of their fanbase or your friends.

Gregoriah's voice actor called out a fat fetish artist, and i haven't heard of soda_stuff's controversies but they were both drama from MONTHS ago that have been cleared out for a while.

Melanie was ALWAYS meant to be bait thats why there was hardly any thought put into her character.

Folly had more lore going on and they probably wanted a way to introduce her while making her intimidating.

Gnarpy was made ageless cuz the creator made xem 16. They wanted to stay as separated from the original creator as possible. Especially cuz the creator made nsfw of Gnarpy after claiming them as a minor.

Also with the elevator credit thing? Yeucc stayed completely away from the Test Elevator (assuming thats what u meant) drama. It was OTHER people who called out Test Elevator for copying a lot of Regretevator's ideas. Yeucc encourages people to make their own elevator games and has received feedback from The Normal Elevator creator and both of them are friends.

They only changed the models for Gnarpy, Folly, Split, and Bive cuz the blocky R6 got in the way of showing off their full designs, and was very limiting. And don't give the "well everyone else is R6!!" excuse cuz jermbo, mozelle, and stat are 2D images, wallter and reddy are R15, and mr, drretro, prototype, rat, and fish are custom meshes.

Thinking maybe Pepsi was a perfectly average conperson before stumbling across the despondent Artisan. Maybe The Artisan asked for xyr opinion on its work, as a person down on xyr luck and struggling to make xyr way in the world

The Artisan tries to apologize and leave, but Pepsi sees an opportunity to get xemself some leverage. Xe's a trickster at heart, after all, and if xe tells The Artisan what it needs to hear, maybe xe'll earn a little favor.

But xe places far too much faith in xyrself and fails to be delicate or encouraging, and when xe tries to spout some stuff xe doesn't really believe, about people's faith in humanity giving The Artisan strength, and trying to prove its immortality...

Well. The Artisan shatters like a poorly crafted ceramic sculpture in a kiln.

The pieces are scattered pretty much everywhere, but Pepsi catches a decent chunk of them, and now xe has reality bending power at xyr disposal, as well as the partial consciousness of a heartbroken god that thinks it's worthless

But xe quickly learns that not only if xe uses too much of this power, reality starts peeling apart, but the shard of The Artisan in xem is acting as a moral compass

It doesn't want to hurt its creations and refuses to allow Pepsi to take action that would lead to direct harm

So xe rebrands xemself from snake oil salesperson to genuine potionmaker that offers a chance for people in need of change to do just that

Except, you know, the twist of the ironic transformation that will only wear off if the person learns their lesson

Who knows where the other shards of The Artisan have gone!

But... they tend to seek out kindred spirits. Creative people suffering from a roadblock and low self esteem. Trying to seek the fulfillment of The Artisan's own desire to be good enough by melding with that of its host.

Pepsi is a little different because

1) xyr main motivation isn't to please others

2) xe was struck by multiple pieces due to standing directly in front of the explosion

So Pepsi and the piece of The Artisan in xem are still separate beings with separate desires that are very aware of each other, while other people with pieces of The Artisan have just fully fused with it, and only awaken its creative power in life or death situations.

He originally joined P.I.E as a part time gig while Ghost was looking for a new partner while Toast was in jail but ended up enjoying it despite being terrified for the first time as joined full time while still working part time at the restaurant and day care

Colon used to teach gym at his old high school when he was in his early 20s after being graduating 2 years before but didn't find it to be as fulfilling as he thought it would be, so he moved to the U.S and became part of a small basket ball team when he was 28. But after the season was over he moved on and joined P.I.E on his 30th birthday

during his first investigation without Toast during their college days he had his first encounter with Jeremy Acachalla (I think Sally and Billy's cousin that was only in 1 episode), after trying to capture him Jeremy set off an explosion that had damaged Ghosts arm to the point it needed to be amputated and caused him to be blind in his left eye and partial deafness in his left ear

I've changed the puppet arc so that it was Maxwell who sent Ghost to dimension hop to get home cause it was just Toast and Ghost during their fight so Maxwell separated them multiversially cause to him, they're weaker separated
