ordered something a few weeks ago; on the day it was supposed to arrive, it was marked as delivered while i was sitting on the porch (artistic license). unfortunate, but shit goes missing sometimes, whatever. i got a refund.
last night someone from [shipping company] knocked on the door to follow up on it.
huh. never had that happen before.
#i had been assuming it was misdelivered to the next-door airbnb#which happens sometimes#but i don't think that gets an in-person follow-up#i had been kinda disproportionately down about it going missing#(it was a hard-to-find thing)#but after the in-person visit#partner suddenly found a reliable listing for it#so i feel doubly better
