reverse snowbird vamps that travel down south in the summer to escape the midnight sun

mass vamp bat migrations to the other hemisphere around the equinox so they always have the long nights

we need more vampire stuff that’s set really really far north on the planet. the potential… we don’t have any sunlight for a couple of months every year so they would literally be able to walk around during the day and no one would know…

#vampires #any time media has vamps living up north for the long nights but it's year round i side eye it a lot #bc listen. the long nights are one thing but they're only half the year #and the long days are more intense than the nights #i grew up in interior alaska so we still had a good 3-4 hours of daylight in the dead of winter #but in the summer even if the sun technically set it was still light out #so it just wouldn't get dark from like late may until august #sun wouldn't be down long enough or far enough so it'd still be light out #it's called civil twilight
