Here’s a thought!

Thinking about Dad!Noah today. I know there’s been lots of talk about him being a girl dad, but what if he was a boy dad instead? Like what if there was a little carbon copy of him running around? I’m talking like his mini me, who looks EXACTLY like him and wants to be just like him one day? He’s ALL Noah from the brown eyes all the way to his goofy facial expressions and sweet mannerisms, and he wants nothing more than to just hangout with his dad and his uncles and playing video games with them all the time. There’s a boys day? He’s there, by his dad the whole time! Noah’s making music in the studio? He asks if he can watch because he wants to learn since dad loves it so much!

He also stands backstage at shows by you with his lil headphones on singing all the lyrics to their songs and you can’t help but stand there and think “I carried you for 9 months and there is no resemblance, you are your dad’s child!” but you’re just so happy because you love your boys so much and seeing them together makes your heart soar because your little family is just the cutest. (like imagine this cutie little boy screaming along with his dad to their heaviest song at like 5 years old with the biggest grin ever 🥺)

in general, be it with canon characters or oc's, i'd really love someone to get chiyo to talk about shiori. she meant a lot to her -- chiyo doesn't casually date, nor does she date anyone that she didn't first befriend over a long period of time. and the thing is!! chiyo never actually got to admit her feelings to shiori. so there's a lot of unresolved feelings concerning her, and i just want someone to get chiyo to talk about it.

shiori was her universe's gwen, so i do think it'd be interesting to see chiyo interact with any version of her. they're different people, but i think chiyo would be wary bc gwen dies in certain universes and!! she's not in a position to handle that emotionally rn

gimme all the mentorships pls and thanks <3 the more i write her in this universe, i do think she'd get along with just about anyone tbh -- she just might disagree with them on occasion, but that's normal and healthy and makes for some fun threads!

big bonus points if her mentor is friends with her mom, yuzusa! i want someone to help her with that awkward situation pls :' )

i love multiverse shenanigans, but i also love the idea of chiyo having regular friends/mentors/etc. who discover she's jorogumo! so gimme that too u3u

ALSO give me her universe's harry!! bc they're supposed to be great friends, but things are weird and strained after the whole green goblin thing!! that wasn't her harry, but chiyo knows it could be one day, and i so badly want to write how that friendship is affected by that knowledge. do they manage to break canon? do they not?? let's find out!!

talk to yuzu about chiyo!! the one she lost and the one in front of her!! tell her that's rough buddy but you'll be there for her while she tries to build a relationship with her daughter ;;v;;

i say that like it's going to be all hurt/comfort, and some of it will be, but it's also going to be yuzu snapping and getting angry, telling you to mind your own business. pain isn't always pretty, and yuzu is the prime example of that.

that being said!! gimme the friend that was there through it all -- being bitten, becoming spider-woman, losing her family, becoming jorogumo. gimme the history that allows someone to see how she's changed and pull her back in when she's growing too far away, when she's losing herself. i want it uvu

but obviously i also wanna write people discovering yuzu is jorogumo and going " oh that actually makes a lot of sense " asdfg

what iiiiif your muse catches yuzu visiting a universe where her husband and chiyo are alive, and she's only watching over them!! just making sure they're okay!! but yeah this needs to be addressed and unpacked

i do wanna write some pre-atsv stuff with him! like how he must've reacted to there being a multiverse, who he might've met first, etc. i like that stuff when we already know where we're going!

while very likeable, typically any iteration of peter parker is bullied to some extent, and since i'm gonna borrow from pav's comics, i'm gonna say the same goes for him. in the comics, his family isn't super wealthy, and he manages to get into a nice school through a scholarship; between the differing tax brackets and pav's natural talent for things, i'm gonna say the other kids probably alienate him a little more than he lets on. maybe we can explore that? the expectation that pav must be popular and have it easy vs. the reality that he's just like miles and a young peter -- another teen who's still finding his place and figuring everything out.

dear americans,

as a polish queer woman and human rights activist, i know exactly how you're feeling right now and what to expect from these elections. i lived through the 2015-2023 regime of pis, a right-wing populist party that divided families in the same way trump did. i’ve experienced the rise of fascism in poland, the influence of far-right parties like konfederacja, and their “santa’s little helpers”—ordo iuris, an ultra-conservative catholic organization (banned in many countries, mind you) that helped enforce a near-total abortion ban and runs anti-queer campaigns in public spaces. i supported the black protests in 2016 as a middle schooler when they first tried to ban abortion. as an adult, i actively participated in the 2020 women’s strike, running from police tear gas daily after they finally passed the ban. i supported friends who faced charges.

i’ve lived through intense homophobia in poland as a queer teen and adult. i survived the first pride march in my hometown, where far-right extremists threw stones and glass at us. i endured the anti-queer propaganda spread by the ruling party in state-owned media. i survived the “rainbow night,” poland’s own stonewall moment in summer 2020, when police arrested around 50 queer activists following the arrest of margo, a nonbinary activist. i survived the "lgbt-free zones," the targeted violence, the slurs from strangers on the street, and the protests i held against queerphobia. it was hard as fuck, but i survived.

but just because i survived, it doesn’t mean others did. many women died because of the abortion ban—marta, justyna, izabela, dorota, joanna, maria, and many others who didn’t survive pis’s draconian anti-abortion laws. milo, kacper, michał, zuzia (she was 12), wiktor, and other queer and trans kids and young adults took their own lives because of the relentless queerphobia.

despite all of this, our experience in poland can serve as a guide now. here are some tips for staying safe and how we, polish queers and women, organized under the regime:

safety first, always. if you know someone who’s had an abortion, no you don’t. if you know someone is trans, no you don’t. if you know people who help with safe abortions, no you don’t—at least not until you know it’s 100% safe to share. if you are queer or have had an abortion, only share this with people you trust fully. most importantly, not everyone has to be an activist just because they’re part of a minority. if it feels unsafe to share that you're queer, trans, etc., then don’t. it doesn’t make you any less queer.

use secure, encrypted messaging like signal for conversations on potentially risky topics, such as queerness, abortion, organizing counter-actions, protests—anything that might be used against you.

stay anonymous online. if you want to research or report something without surveillance, do not use regular internet. get a vpn (mullvad is affordable and reliable), download the tor browser (for both onion and standard links), and if you plan to whistleblow, consider using a riseup email account.

organize and build networks. community is everything now. support each other, foster independence, because your government won’t have your back. set up collectives, grassroots movements. create lists of trusted professionals—lawyers, doctors, etc.—who can offer support.

to lawyers and doctors: please consider pro-bono work. this is what got us through poland’s hardest times. your work will be needed now more than ever.

for protests or risky actions: always write a pro-bono lawyer’s number on your arm with a permanent marker.

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in
