i knew twitter was cooked when its genius algorithm saw all the posts i was making about how much i like being fat and want to get fatter and said "hey yknow what we think might be relevant to you and your interests? endless ads about shady fad drugs and diets to help you shed all those hideous and unsightly extra pounds"
#lbr it was cooked when jack dorsey failed to ban all the nazis despite having a convenient blacklist thanks to certain intl law compliances#but lets stay focused#i got served an ad for ozempic earlier and it made my blood boil! i HATE the way its being misused and the culture driving that misuse#every day i get ads that are completely against anything i want or care about or believe in. most of the time its clearly Scam or Fash#and its not really a problem on desktop bc i use adblock but on mobile im just on the app so i just see this shit like every third tweet#i dont think ive ever gotten any of the fabled “funny promoted tweets”. Sad!#my post
