Me, today, 2 AM, crying and trembling and throwing up and hyperventilating, etc.: SHE'S SO HURT WHEN SHE SAYS "YOU JUST WANT TO BE THE ONE THAT I CALL BABY" AND YET SHE STILL USES THE WORD "BABE" IN THE CHORUS! THERE IS SOME VERY CLEAR BITTERNESS, BUT I DON'T GET THE SENSE THAT SHE'S SAYING "BABE" IRONICALLY, I THINK SHE GENUINELY DOES WANT THIS PERSON TO BE HAPPY! SHE'S ACTUALLY SAYING GOOD LUCK EVEN THOUGH SHE KNOWS THE OTHER WOMAN'S QUEST IS FUTILE!
