Not acknowledging Jon as a different actor in-universe would be the right move but I hope they at least throw in a line about Jon dying his hair because if they try to retcon and say Jon has been brunette this whole time it's just gonna feel lazy, make me roll my eyes, and see the new season as an entirely new universe instead.. because unless Clois has been dying Jon's hair since he was a little kid, the pilot clearly shows us Jon was born with blonde hair

#saying jon has been brunette the entire time would essentially make s1 - 2 not canon since that jon was a natural blonde #truthfully i don't understand why they couldn't dye michael's hair it only would've made him look even more like jordan #unless they are actually going for a 'different universe' route #i don't know #maybe i'm just being stupid but little details with characters like jon being blonde made the universe feel real #and just throwing the fact away would feel like they really don't care about keeping a consistent story #just saying 'actually this isn't canon anymore' and leaving it at that #i got enough of that bullshit with titans retconning the previous season each time a new one aired #superman and lois #jonathan kent
