maybe ive just had more interactions with italians than everyone else but italy absolutely did not “just” go fascist
#sending love to everyone this affects etc#i get that the election makes it official but ive been like Concerned abt italy for ages#and i do always have a slight discomfort that like#just touching the news cycle for 30 seconds when a hard right gov is elected and then then back to ignoring#is like not a great way of addressing this stuff#like sweden i was more suprised they actually made it into govt#but like after reading that article its like#yeah the warning signs were there FOREVER#n we only get interested after its way too late
