elis james is the funniest guy on earth because one time he genuinely got shot at while on the bus & he was completely unrattled. didn’t bother calling the police because ‘the bus driver said he’d sort it out’. he’ll casually tell a story about getting mugged & punched so hard in the face the blood vessels in his eyes burst like it’s an unremarkable normal anecdote. that time a big scary bloke at the football harassed/threatened him for having long hair? seemingly unfazed by the ordeal.

ask him to find a social connection to a random fellow welsh person for a silly podcast game though & he completely falls to pieces. just crumbles into an agonised nervous wreck. endlessly fascinating man
