i love my piano professor SM
#for a while i never returned to music because. i have a complicated self esteem issue with the arts but#it's SOSOSO nice to be able to learn under someone who gives proper feedback and if the feedback doesnt work#changes it up and offers several more suggestions#like she knows what she's doing and knows what I'm capable of and how much i can do#and shows it by meaning it actuallt#like. that's SUCH a good teacher#like i hated piano for the longest... longest time actually it was a sore spot#but every time i come out of her class i genuinely feel satisfied and better yet#like i HAVE improved and that i can CONTINUE to improve#like i actually feel motivated! its so nice! i love actually learning new skills and bettering myself without judgement but instead with#actual care#heheh....#i wanted to post this because whenever i come into classes that like i actually want to learn but know im not perfect at or even good off#the start#and to clarify it's literally only the arts#i get a really uncharacteristic gross feeling like im anticipating only the worst#so it's nice to be proven and to be relieved#anyway. love my professor. she's great#im starting voice lessons actually for singing though and jesus#my voice cracked several times 😭😭#now that. ogh. that's gonna be an interesting struggle.#aaa.. ooo...aw...... that's what i sound like
