it honestly guts me that i don't like da2 more............. i have a lot of reasons for it and i still Like the game as a whole but it'd always be my last choice to play and even when i do play it i get burnt out super super fast. i think i would find it easier if varric had an actual romance??? because i also find dao a drag at moments but it helps that i always have alistair's romance beats to look forward to. there is so much i love about da2 conceptually especially in terms of lore and world building and character interactions but i think there are too many complicated and contradictory variables for me to find it a fun sandbox to play in

#i'm worried veilguard will be similar to da2 in a lot of ways but i think the gameplay #and the characters will help a lot with any trepidation i have #bc i'll be honest. i like what the characters of da2 represent in the World #and the Group #but i individually only care about varric LMAO #that's my biggest gripe with the series actually is i love everything the characters Contribute #but i don't necessarily Care about anyone besides my romances. which i know #makes me an odd one out bc everyone in the fandom would live and die for like 7 different characters #but. THIS MAKES ME SOUND LIKE SUCH A FAKE FAN.
