I'm reading an interview about the creation of Dual Destinies and knowing that this was the writing philosophy certainly clears things up for me. "Don't worry about past characterization of chronology, just be creative" They sure did do that sir

Interesting.#but this really clears a lot of stuff up#I wish capcom let them make an entirely new story without the mandate that Phoenix be back. It's spoken abt in the interview a lot#An Athena solo game genuinely would have slammed so unreasonably hard#and honestly I adore everything about Athena and Simon and the original stories they built around them#it's the phoenix and apollo stuff that drives me nuts. Also love that Apollo was not mandated for return by Capcom#Phoenix must be the protagonist; they said. Apollo who?#mod vex
