Athena is just a sweet bundle of joy and happiness and Simon is a cold, raven-haired box of darkness- courtesy of his family name. The two are basically bound to meet, the perfect foils of each other. 

though Cykesquill isn’t the main ship of this AU, as you can see in the title, it is a pretty big one, like Romione

Simon and Athena have the Slytherin/Hufflepuff buddy to relationship thing going on and I love it 100%

When Simon first meets Apollo, he scares the crap out of him.

I have been writing everything very out of order, so everything I’m saying might not be 100% accurate or may just be ideas c:

As it stand now, at the beginning of their third year, Klavier runs out of morning DADA because his jerk legal guardian and Apollo and Athena follow him out of the building to get him to come to the Quidditch Pitch like he promised the night before.

The reason for this is that Simon is trying out for the Syltherin Quidditch team and the whole group were going to go to show their support~

Apollo and Klavier didn’t end up going because whoops- Kristoph is a horrible brother and human being overall

Athena parted ways with Apollo before he left the building and she left to find Juniper (a fellow Huffie) and Clay (Ravenclaw extraordinaire).

Clay was sad when he and Ema met up with Athena and there was no sign of Polly

Simon Blackquill did make the team and became a Slytherin Beater

unfortunately Daryan is Slytherin’s seeker and he sorta sucks as a person and a player so…. Sorry Simon..Simon did make the team better, though~

Simon is a captain of Dueling Club and excels at it

Athena helped him practice to get on the team 

she is a very skilled witch

Simon worked for Athena’s mother during the summers from when he was about 11 up until she died.

Metis worked with Muggle technology, hence the ‘Blood Traitor’ nickname Daryan gives Athena in Ch 5 of AW1

I just relized that I’ve beaten Daryan up a lot through out this series. oh will he ever learn?

Simon is often labeled a blood traitor as well since he still hangs around a Cykes’.

After Clay’s death, Ema opens up to a bunch of new people. She only really talked to Clay and Klavier because she’s stuck with him because of their parental ties

Ema, protecting Apollo, clashes with the group and that includes Simon and Athena, who know something is very, very wrong

Post Clay’s death, Athena, having highly Empathic abilities and Simon knowing a lot about human psychology from working his Metis, know something is wrong and convince Klavier to begin trailing Apollo

LOL Ema knew the whole time

Apollo is scared shitless that someone else he loves is next

Here, it is mentioned that Athena’s patronus is a Swallow 

Simon’s patronus is a Hawk

If Simon smelled Amortensia, he’d smell citrus, pine, and the Cykes’s welcoming home that is so different from his own. 

Athena’s favorite class is Defense Against the Darks Arts with Professor Phoenix Wright

Simon’s favorite class is Transfiguration with Professor Maya Fey

Simon’s and Aura’s reltionship is absurdly better than Klavier’s and Kristoph’s

Professor Franziska Von Karma of Slytherin house hates a lot of things

P, D, and T grades on her student’s OWLs and NEWTs

potions that destroy her classroom

her brother’s isiotic husband

but one thing she can stand behind is how happy “that hufflepuff girl makes Mr. Blackquill.” Her words not mine.

Athena’s wand is Hazel with Unicorn hair, 12 inches and unyeilding

Simon’s wand is made from Fir, with a Dragon core, 14 inches

EDIT/ i almost forgot uhhh Clonco and Ponco are Simon’s and Athena’s owls!! because i honestly could not make them robots in the wizarding world…
