in solaricks when rick goes back to dimension C-137 he seems just about ready to start at least trying to move on from hunting prime, he admits that he can't find him and even goes on to tell "diane" about their grandkids

yet this is him less than a season later

so, what changed?

well, this, obviously:

not to mention how traumatic that episode must've been for rick in general, having to revisit his past like that, the diane ghost ai. well, rick makes it pretty clear he's not exactly thrilled to be alive

so think it's pretty safe to assume that this was the first step to the rick prime relapse, especially since we know he went back and managed to snag a killbot

one could also argue that rick wasn't ever really over it, so it took very little to push him back, and while i don't think he was over it either, he did seem to start to want to be, morty saying this:

was all it took for him to step away from the base, though it's likely he returned in another moment, but still, that could've been later on

okay, anyway, into the actual point of this post, i think rick took small steps into falling back into finding prime, because even when he seemed to want to be bettering himself things kept going wrong, so eventually he decided, what was the point?

this is how i see it:

obviously preceding solaricks we have rickternal friendshine of the spotless mort, which i'm not gonna go into too much detail on rn despite it being one of my fav lore episodes bcs i wanna look at post-solaricks (but for pre-solaricks rickmurai jack is also worth mentioning due to him having to revisit his backstory with the citadel which is very closely linked to his time looking for prime/killing ricks) but go ahead and check out this post by dirty-bear-rick-sanchez for the best explanation i've seen on it and its effect on rick

anyway, so just 2 episodes after solaricks we have bethic twinstinct, and i've gone into this in a past post how this might have taken him back to his past so i'm just gonna copy paste it from my other post (summarised) bcs im lazy:

a lot of ppl theorise rick and prime knew eachother before he offered him the portal gun so if thats true what if beth and space beth reminded him of them and how he was (hypothetically) cheating on diane and then lost her forever at the hands of the man he was having an affair with and also lost his beth

which is why rick said "remember, its not just your ice cream you're forgetting, it's your family's" or smth. because he forgot his familys ice cream too much, and all that happened

also look at all the similarities between prime and SB's outfits

then 5 episodes after that we have analyse piss, where we see that rick relates to pissmaster, sympathises with him

i will never not reccomend this fic by abed-with-a-knife about how rick was taken back to his own struggles with suicide and such, but it's not only that, so many features of pissmaster's experience are things rick can relate to, his rocky relationship with his daughter, everyone hating him, i think in general it's pretty clear that this episode was made to link rick and pissmaster

anyway, the next episode after analyse piss is immediately a rick in king mortur's mort, and this is quite clearly rick's breaking point, obviously we know this is when he replaces himself with rickbot, following this scene:

rick tells morty not to take the sword and morty doesn't listen

morty says rick's boring and calls him a "drunk cranky fuck" which does seem to bother rick

despite him shitting on a similar insult in the previous episode

in ricktional mortpoons rickmas mortcation, the following episode, he says the reason he replaced himself was because of this, because he feels like morty doesn't respect him any more, and that:

so first the show wears away at his friendships and his past trauma and self hatred with rfotsm, rickmurai jack goes even further into his past, his relation with the citadel, his "crybaby backstory", etc.

then solaricks forces him to confront his past, specifically his relationship with diane and accept his future and his new family, while giving him a small clue to prime.

then bethic twinstinct, provided he and prime really did know eachother previously (which im a little on the fence on if i'm honest), reminds him of his guilt for diane and little beth dying and how he feels responsible for it by mirroring the situation with older beth and the "edgier" version of herself. after that, analyse piss continues to dig into his current relationship with a beth that isn't his own, and takes a shot at his suicidal tendancies and how he feels like "god hates him" or the universe is against him or whatever.

and lastly akikmm takes all of that that rick is already carrying on his shoulders and adds morty not respecting him or caring about him to it, and it clearly cause rick to finally snap. if all of this was building and the only thing keeping rick afloat was his codependant relationship with morty (as seen in solaricks when morty gets him to not go after prime just by showing his care) then morty (by no fault of his own) seeming to dismiss rick must make him think "what's the point anymore?" if no one cares about him, then he might as well complete his life-long revenge plot, even if it destroys him again

because no one cares about him, right? (dramatic old fuck, get him psycological help)

anyway it's almost 2am so my thoughts aren't as coherent as i would like and i'm too lazy to read over this post and check if everything is right and good

most of what i've said in this post is probably pretty obvious, i just wanted to lay it out neatly with images and everything (im so classy ik /j) it accidentally came out a LOT longer than i intended. what can i say i just love yapping on about rnm

Notes: Lets see if I actually write this!! I’m literally in the middle of Strawberries and Cream rn, it’s 5/15/24 (now) and I’m just…. Testing the waters with releasing the first chapter P.S I DID NOT EDIT THIS BEFORE POSTING I HATE MYSELF IM DOING IT RN

Chapter 1: Eddie is a Traitor

It was just supposed to be a normal Thursday. Go to work, fight some fires, harass Eddie, go home. Do it all over again the next day. That’s how it was every day and he liked it. Especially the people he worked with, that was his family. 

He’s putting on a different work shirt when he looks up, a girl is standing there with her back to him holding a helmet in her hands. It’s sleek and pink. It’s got the most adorable cat ears on it too. He’s gotta take another look at it. As he walks she turns around, her hair flying over her shoulder. 

It’s like he can hear wedding bells going off in his brain. He shortcircuits immediately as she starts walking towards him. He can hear the soft thud of her shoes, he’s surprised he thought angels had wings. She smiles pleasantly at him, the California sun creating a little halo behind her. Or he’s having a stroke he can’t tell. 

“Hi I’m-” He sticks his hand out and Bobby suddenly steps in front of him 

“No, you aren’t” 

He knew that look. “Come on honey, I’ll introduce you to the others” you waved shyly at Buck as Bobby turned you around by your shoulders and steered you upstairs

Buck stood there, his hand still out as he watched Bobby march you up to Hen and Chimney. You giggled a little at the top of the stairs when you saw him still staring, a dumb look on his face

“You good?” Eddie gave him a high five as he walked by and Buck blinked slowly 

“I think I’m in love” 

Eddie snorted and bumped his side, pushing him out of the way so he could get to his locker 

“Isn’t that like the fourth time this month you’ve said that? Who was it this time” 

He melted on the spot, sighing dreamily and tilting his head to the side 

“It’s…”

Eddie looked at him expectantly 

“It’s uh…”

Eddie put his head against his locker, snickering into the metal 

“You don’t remember?”

“I don’t think she said. I don’t think she had the chance” 

“Why wouldn’t she have had the chance?” 

“Bobby took her upstairs” 

Eddie turned to look at him again. “Are you talking about a girl, about this tall” he holds his hand up midway to his chest “curly pink hair? Skin tanned to the gods” 

“That’s my angel”

“Dude. That’s Athena’s niece” 

It’s like he gets hit by a train and his entire world comes crashing down and really what even was the point in living anymore if he couldn’t have you? He might as well do a sweet flip off a cliff. At least he could go out in a cool way 

“You do know how to backflip,” Eddie says as he shuts his locker 

“Huh?” Buck looks at him now, a little dazed. A weird look on his face

“You were spiraling right? Because you think your life is over now” 

“My life is over now!” 

“No, it’s not.” He takes him by the arm and jogs upstairs, tapping the railing when they get up there. It catches your attention and you turn your head, your hands clasped sweetly in front of you.

Honestly, everything about you was sweet. From your soft pink hair, down to the white platform boots you had on. He liked the purple plaid skirt you had on. With a little purple beret and the matching purple cardigan. You looked like a doll, a very sweet, very cute, doll. God, you were too sweet for him 

“Oh my god. Evan!” His name is shouted at him and he flinches back. Your hand is out towards him, and Eddie is standing behind you with his hands on your shoulders. Bobby has his arms crossed over his chest and Hen and Chim are looking at each other 

“I said this is Y/N” Eddie sounds stressed and that makes Buck blush. He’d gotten lost in you all over again. 

“Oh-oh. Uh Hi I’m, Bevan- no shit Barkley no-no god. Buck. I’m- my name is Evan I- I go by Buck. Hi.”

You’re giggling as he stumbles over his words and god he wishes you wouldn’t do that, it just sounds so cute and you’re making him flustered. Fuck usually he’s so smooth and flirty, what the hell gives??

“Hi Evan” You smile up at him and he swears he’s never seen anything or anyone so pretty 

“You have pretty teeth,” He says dreamily as he’s shaking your hand. Eddie curses under his breath and you laugh, still shaking his hand 

“T-thank you? Um. I brush twice a day!” 

“Oh it shows!! it- it shows. You know that you uh-you take care of yourself and I mean- I could have said I liked your nail polish cause I do!!…it matches your clothes but no! No… I had to- I had to say your teeth” 

You cover your mouth, trying to keep from laughing any harder. He’s so flustered and his cheeks are so pink and you feel a little bad. And he’s literally still shaking your hand. Eddie pulls your hand from his and slaps Buck’s down, giving him a “wtf” look over your head. Buck clears his throat and shoves his hands in his pockets 

“Well! I gotta go fill the truck! You know gotta make it all nice and full of stuff that we need I’m just. I’m gonna go” He points down the stairs and goes running, you wave awkwardly at his retreating figure with a little smile on your face 

“Uh bye! It was nice meeting you!!”

Buck walks out of the station, dumping the bucket of water out onto the pavement. He hadn’t seen you for most of the day and he was glad. 

Okay not that glad, he wanted to stare at you all day, but at least he wasn’t acting like a dumbass anymore 

“Sabrina Carpenter was right. I cannot find my chill. God her teeth?! Seriously??” He mutters to himself as he watches the water soak into the ground. 

“Talking to yourself?” 

You ask as you walk towards him, he spins around watching you walk over. God, even the way you walked, with all the confidence in the world was sexy as hell. 

“Yeah” his voice cracks and you giggle when he lets his head fall back in embarrassment. Fuck was he actually 15 again 

“Whatcha talkin' about?” He notices you’ve got a white mini backpack. It’s cute. God of course it matches your outfit

“Oh you know, your teeth” He visibly cringes and you slap your hand over your mouth trying to control your laughter 

“Oh come on it wasn’t that bad” 

“Yes. Yes, it was. You’re just being nice” 

“I think it was a genuine compliment!” you protest as you stop in front of him. You’re so much shorter than he is, he just wants to put his hand on your head and ruffle your hair. He bets you’d hate that, but god it would be cute 

“It was. A stupid one, but you know, you do have pretty teeth���and nails!” He smiles at you, his cheeks are pink and he’s flustered again but he’s outside and the sun is shining down on you and you’re glowing 

“You have pretty teeth too,” You tell him, smiling and giving him a little wink “and a cute butt!” 

His mouth drops as you walk past him with a smug little smirk “There! Now we both said something embarrassing!” 

He watches you walk over to a pink motorcycle. It’s sexy and sleek and clearly customized. He watches you climb on and start to put on your helmet 

“That’s yours?!” He asks as he jogs over. It’s a little big for you, but you obviously know what you’re doing 

“Of course it is, what do you think?”

“Uh I think I want to be a passenger Princess one day that’s for damn sure” He gives your helmet a little tap with his knuckles 

“Hope you have two of those” 

You giggle and pick a couple pieces of fuzz from the inside of it and toss them aside 

“Actually my white one is coming in today! Maybe I can come pick you up from work sometime and we can mess around” 

“Really? That sounds so cool! He says, he’s forgotten a lot of his nerves now. Now you’re just a pretty girl on a pretty bike 

“Yeah here, gimme your phone!” 

He takes his phone from his pocket and you add your number, you hand it back and flip your hair over your shoulder 

“Here, take a contact photo of me while I look cool” 

He laughs and takes a few steps back while you put your helmet on and do a cute little pose, your head tilted with peace signs 

He snaps the photo and sets it, and then he secretly sets it as his wallpaper too. He gives you a thumbs up and you make a call me sign. He fumbles his phone for a second before calling you 

“You look so freaking cool” He says as soon as you answer, his cheeks flushing again.

“Why thank you”you giggle “Send me a picture of you later so I can have a contact photo for you!” 

“Oh yeah okay sure! Uh-yeah” 

“Can you do me one more favor?” 

“Anything” He says it way too fast 

“I forgot to get Eddie’s number, he invited me for drinks tonight but Uncle Bobby pulled me away too fast to get his number” you’re rolling your eyes at Bobby as Buck’s heart is shattering 

“Uh. Yeah. Yeah sure I can do that. I’ll send it now…I gotta go finish mopping, I’ll see you whenever I suppose. Uh- Bye”

He hangs up before you can say anything and he awkwardly waves bye before running back into the station. He can hear your bike start up, he doesn’t stop hiding behind the doors until he hears you leave. 

He’s not sending that number. 

Ever. 

Okay yes he is because he said he’d do anything but he’s gonna kill Eddie first so you two can’t go out. 

He mopes all the way upstairs, stomping his feet until he gets over to the comfy chairs and flops down in it. He sinks down far into the seat and crossing his arms over his chest. He’s not talking to Eddie for as long as he lives 

“Hey man you got a second” 

“No” 

He turns away and curls up his legs. He barely fits in the chair anymore and Eddie chuckles 

“You poutin’?” Eddie pokes at his thigh

“No” 

“Okay. Anyway have you seen Y/N I need to talk to her”

“No” 

Eddie raises an eyebrow, walking over to stand in front of Buck 

“Hey what’s goin on buddy?” His voice is softer this time, worried that something happened to him. 

“Nothing” 

Buck tries to curl up even tighter but this chair was not built for a man his size throwing a tantrum 

“Buck come on just tell me what’s going on, please?”

“Leave me alone, Judas” 

Eddie’s mouth pops open and he whacks his legs “What did I do?!” 

“I said I didn’t wanna talk about it!” He snaps and Eddie rolls his eyes, he pulls Bucks legs and they fall easily. Now he’s just weirdly slumped and still not moving 

“Buck. Just talk to me, you big fat baby” 

“Why? So you can call your girlfriend?!” He gives him double middle fingers 

“What girlfriend?!” Eddie asks, his eyes squinting 

“Y/N! She wanted me to send her your number!” 

“And have you?”

“No,, I hate you”

“Can you just do it?” 

“Can your mom just do it” 

“Okay you know what-“ Eddie attacks Buck, tickling his sides and Buck shrieks, falling off the chair and laughing as he and Eddie tumble to the floor, Eddie rips his phone from his pocket and opens it

“Oh my god does she know you made her your screensaver?”

He pins Buck and sends you his number, Buck fights his way from Eddie’s hold and punches him in the side, it’s not hard at all but knocks him off 

“How dare you tickle attack me Edmundo Diaz! I thought we were friends”

“You called me Judas!”

“Because you are!!” 

“No I'm not! Asshat! You didn’t even let me talk you just hated me!”

“Yeah because you asked my girl on a date!”

“She’s literally not your girl?? And also it’s not a date dumbass! I was going to ask you if you could come and if not reschedule with her! So you could have some time with her, and I could cover for you sounding like an idiot” 

Buck gasps and slaps his cheeks, his eyes huge 

“Eddieee” he whines and Eddie rolls his eyes, getting off the floor, Buck stands up with him and jumps on him, wrapping his arms and legs around him like a koala. He nearly knocks them over again

“You did that for meee?” 

“I will drop your ass over the railing” 

Buck isn’t sure what to wear so he brings a small mountain of clothes over to Eddie’s house in the form of a large suitcase. He heaves it onto Eddie’s bed and it pops open easily when he unzips it 

“Do you know what she’s wearing?” Buck asks as he watches Eddie go through the suitcase 

“No…” he mumbles distractedly as he sets aside a couple of shirts “But I can call her” 

“Does she know I’m coming?” He twiddles his thumbs nervously, chewing his bottom lip. Eddie flicks his cheek and he stops, frowning at him 

“Yeah she knows. But if you call her it’ll seem like you want to match”

“But if you call her it’ll seem like I asked you to ask for me” 

“Damn you’ve got a point” Eddie sighs, holding the edge of the suitcase 

“Is it just the three of us tonight?” 

“Yeah…but I’ve got an idea” Eddie grabs his phone and texts Hen. He and Buck spend a few minutes going through the suitcase and organizing it before she calls 

“Let me get this straight,” She says on speaker “You want me to pretend like I’m coming for drinks tonight, to find out what color Y/N is wearing so Buck can match her? And then I say oh Karen wanted to go on a date instead whoops can’t make it”

“Yes,” They say in unison 

“...I’ll call you back” 

Buck fist pumps and Eddie chuckles at him 

“You really wanna impress her huh?”

“You know she said I could ride on her motorcycle?” Buck falls back on the bed, holding a pillow tightly to his chest

“Oh god she was so sexy when she got on that bike Eddie, I swear to god I nearly creamed my pants”

“Ew” 

“She looked so, so badass. Which is crazy considering what she was wearing because at first I thought she looked like a doll you know-“

“Buck?” Eddie stares at his phone 

“-And she still looked like a doll even on the bike but she went from a super cute doll to a-

“Buck” he looks up at him, waving his phone in front of his face

“-Super sexy doll. You know what I mean? God, she’s so versatile”

His phone pings and he picks it up “I wonder what she’s gonna-” He stares at the picture Eddie just sent him. You’re standing in front of a mirror with your little peace sign. You’ve got a black mini skirt on with a high slit on the thigh, a black strappy tank top with a corset front and a set of black platform boots. There’s a leather jacket hanging over your arm and a black heart shaped purse. 

“Hen says she said she’s just gotta accessorize and then she’s done” Eddie’s voice is quiet, his jaw would still be on the floor if Buck’s wasn’t already. He starts going through the suitcase, trying to find something. Buck has good options. It’s just hard to be on your level. But they’re both gonna damn well try. 

“I- I think I-“ 

“Buck I swear to god if you creamed your pants I’m gonna throw up”

They show up “fashionably late” to the bar. But really it’s just because after Buck finally recovered he changed at least seven times before they finally decided on the right outfit. He’s wearing a tight fitting black button down with a few of the buttons undone, because Eddie says it showcases his muscles the best and because having the sleeves quartered drives the ladies crazy. He’s got dark black jeans on and his work shoes, which are shined to the gods because in his rush to grab clothes he did not grab shoes. 

They walk in together, with Eddie purposely wearing a little bit of a loser fitting and more relaxed kind of outfit, nice blue jeans, and a flannel. He wore his work shoes so it looks like they rushed but also didn’t rush. Effortlessly putting together a flawless outfit. 

Nailed it. 

“You think she’ll be mad we’re late” Buck’s voice cracks again and Eddie snorts 

“No, she seemed perfectly fine. She’s over there” He points to the booth where you’re sitting, sipping on a fruity-looking drink. 

He leads Buck over, they practiced this so Buck could sort of be revealed. It made sense when they did it at home 

“Hey Y/N! Sorry we’re late” Eddie slides in on the opposite side of the booth and takes off his coat, putting it next to him so Buck is forced to sit by you…oh yeah it’s all going to plan 

“Oh it’s okay! I was a little late myself so it all worked out!” You scoot over a little, patting the bench next to you. He doesn’t miss the way your eyes roll over his body, you bite your lip a little and look away, feeling your cheeks get hot 

“You guys picked a cool place” you clear your throat as Buck sits next to you, putting his arm on the back of the booth to get comfy. He smells good, like the ocean and summer and a little smokey and god does he look good too. 

“Actually it was Bucks's idea. You know what I’ll be right back, I’m just gonna order our drinks at the bar and bring them over” Eddie excuses himself, and the two of you are left alone. You turn your body to face Buck’s, and now it’s his turn for his eyes to roam over your body. You looked stunning in the picture but in person? That was a whole other ball game. 

“You uh- you look pretty Y/N. It’s a really different style from earlier” 

Your cheeks flush and you smile at him a bit shyly “Thanks, I like to wear a lot of different styles actually! It’s fun!” You scoot a little closer to him now, your knees touching 

“You look super good to you know, you um-you clean up pretty well” 

His heart is practically beating out of his chest as he watches you reach for your drink, taking a long slow sip. He notices your hands trembling and frowns 

“Hey, are you okay?” He takes your hands, holding them gently “You’re shaking”

“Uh- I’m, I’m good I’m- I’m so” you pull your hands away quickly and reach for your drink again, he pushes it away a little and hooks your chin with his finger, making you look up at him. He’s staring into your eyes, but he looks worried as his firefighter's brain turns on 

“Have you eaten anything? Your drink seems a little strong for an empty stomach, maybe I should go order you something”

You put your hands on his chest to make him sit back down “No! No that’s okay I’m fine! Uh- I’m- okay” you take a deep breath “Can I be honest with you?” 

“You can tell me anything Y/N. I’m here for you” he turns your palms and kisses them before holding them to his chest to warm them up. 

“Y-you’re making me nervous” you gulp and his eyes widen, his cheeks flush and he lets go of your hands 

“Oh” 

You cringe and he chuckles, scooting closer to you and putting his arm over your shoulders. His scent is intoxicating as it washes over you, the close proximity not helping the tiny buzz you’re getting. 

“So what you’re saying is…I have pretty teeth” 

You laugh loudly, your head falling back against his arm and you smack your hand over your mouth. He leans into your neck laughing with you and giving you a sweet kiss on your cheek 

“Maybe I’ll make you flustered now” He winks and you roll your eyes, the light blush on your cheeks giving you away. 

“You made me flustered when I met you this afternoon. You were just too in your head to notice. I could barely talk to you” 

“I wish you’d made me shy like you were. But instead, you just make me stupid” 

You giggle and lean into him “Sorry about that” 

“S’okay doll, we ended up here together anyway right?” 

Eddie comes back over with a tray, he’s got two drinks and a basket of cheese curds

“Hope you’re not lactose intolerant” he jokes and hands Buck his drink 

“No actually, couldn’t keep me away from cheese even if I was though. Especially fried cheese” 

Buck takes one from the basket and holds it up to your lips

“Let’s soak up some of that alcohol” he watches the way your lips part and your tongue comes out to accept the bite…he can just imagine it wrapped around something else other than a delicious cheese curd. He grunts and turns his head away when he feels Eddie kick him under the table for staring. He knows Eddie knows exactly what he was thinking 

The rest of the night carries on wonderfully, you get to know both men as they tell stories about each other, trying to one up the other and it’s funny as hell. You’re hanging off of Buck by the end of the night just trying to keep yourself from getting kicked from the bar for how loudly you’re laughing. Eddie is laid on the seat, snorting into his coat and Buck is holding onto you tightly as he makes no sounds, trying to start breathing again. 

Eventually you all catch your breath, and just lay there for a bit, still giggling. It’s amazing you’re the only one that’s slightly tipsy, the other two are just idiots and that makes you giggle more. Especially Eddie who was the designated driver. Buck gets up from the booth, helping you up. He catches you as you stumble into his chest, his cheeks burn red when you look up at him, a playful little look in your eyes. He can practically see the little devil horns on your head 

Actually. He can. 

“Have you been wearing these all night??” He pats the little headband and Eddie falls back in his seat laughing again. You crash into Bucks's chest, your face smooshed against the soft material of his shirt as you laugh

“Buck that’s the 6th time you’ve asked that. They came with her drink, the specialty of the month. Devil MAY care?? Remember the one the bartender came up with” 

Buck and Eddie drop you off at Athena’s house and Buck walks you up to the door with his arm around you. He takes the keys from your hand and unlocks it for you before dropping them back in your open palm. He takes a few steps back and puts his hands in his pockets, you turn to look up at him, your hands clasped behind your back 

“I had so much fun tonight. Maybe we can do something else this week? If you’re not busy”

“With just me?” He teases “I’ll see if Eddie is free! Maybe we can go bowling or something” 

“If he’s not that’s okay- I mean. I wouldn’t mind being alone with you,” 

Oh Eddie is definitely not coming. 

“Alright Doll, sounds fun to me. I’ll call you and we can plan something with or without him” he wiggles his eyebrows as you giggle, and the way you giggle makes him want to kiss you. But he knows for a fact Athena’s got cameras. 

“Well, I uh- I should go…Eddie is probably gettin' tired. You know him, big ole sleepy guy” 

You shake your head, smiling at him “Yeah okay… I’ll see you soon?” 

“Yup…soon” He walks backward carefully, watching you stand there “Go on, get inside cutie”

Hopefully, the cameras didn’t have sound. 

You blush and give him that little wave of yours before turning around and going in 

“Night Buck..”

“Night Doll” 

He’s about to turn around when the door opens and you come running back out again, you pull him down to your height and kiss him on the cheek.

Exorcist gang! (I'm so sorry it took forever to get to your ask. I kind of dropped the au for a long time and just now got the motivation to pick it up again.)

Right on the money! I just narrowed it down to three because I can't do anymore(lazy ahh). But they can't actually drive motorcycles because none of them have a drivers license so they just try to seem badass by saying they are a biker gang. All christian but they have no idea how it works and do things looked down upon by the christian community. Left Victoria. Middle Stephanie. Right Kamaria. Kamaria got a tattoo of the upside down cross to seem cool but she knows it's St. Peter's cross so it's kind of a double meaning for her. I also gave Kamaria three toned lips because I jst found out that exists and I had to include that in some character. Atleast one.

Are there still feelings? Kind of, they just aren't over eachother yet. Right now tho they are mainly enemies. Valerie(Vaggie) is kind of like Blitzø(relationships wise), but less of an asshole. It was mostly her fault they broke up though. She was uninterested and embarrassed by Kamaria almost all the time so ofc Kamaria doesn't stand for shit and ended it before it got worse. Valerie is like that with Charlie in some ways, but of course that's for growth purposes.

“Y/n, Beta squad are celebrating hitting 8 million, you should come, we haven’t hang out all together also for a while.” Sharky says. It was true, you and the beta squad haven’t seen each other for a while. They were busy with YouTube and you were also busy filming.

“Sharky, I don’t know if I wanna go.. I wanna take a break.”

“Come on, it’ll be nice seeing everyone, or you can come to just see me.” He teased.

“Boy, I am seeing you right now,” you laughed “what are you talking about.” You stayed silent for a minute, maybe it’ll be worth it for real? You missed seeing Chunkz, Niko, Aj… and Kenny.

“Okay. I’ll go.” You said and he smiled at you.

“Good. And we can drive together.”

When Friday night came, meaning it was the beta squad party. You kinda were excited to see the guys. Sharky had came, before you even started to get ready.

“What are you going to wear?” He asked you sitting with you in the kitchen.

“Ion know.” You answered, “nothing too fancy, im not really feeling like it.” You looked at him to see what he’s wearing and saw him wearing straight leg joggers.

You’d be lying if you said that you weren’t staring, because God damn he always looked good in them. You went to your room to change into something casual, and left with Sharky to go to the party.

When you arrived there you went inside and first one who you saw was Nella, “Oh, my days, isn’t that the Y/n” she exclaimed pulling you to the table where everyone else was and Sharky just following you both.

You smiled at her, honestly you missed Nella even more than the boys. Finally making it to the table, you saw everyone and couldn’t help but hug each one of them.

Kenny wasn’t there at the time, but when he walked up you could see him staring at you.

“Hey y/n.” He smiled, him acting like nothing happened before made you feel better, but it wasn’t. Especially now that you were starting to like Sharky, and if someone found out, they probably consider you as a homie hopper.

“Hi.” You said awkwardly. You didn’t know if you just made it awkward or it was just awkward, but if Kenny really forgot about you two then it was good, you could just move on like nothing happened ever.

Nella saw the awkward silence and broke it, “y/n did you and Sharky came together?”

You smiled at her, “yeah we did.” You sat in between Sharky and Nella, Kenny on left side of Nella and rest of the beta squad next to Sharkys right.

“Do you want something to drink y/n?” Sharky asked you.

“Uh,” you thought about it, “not really right now. Do you?”

“No.” He said and everyone continued to chat, while you just avoided looking at Kenny.

“Y/n,” you heard your name being called once again, you looked up and of course it was Kenny, “do you wanna go somewhere talk?”

You didn’t know what to say, maybe it’d even better if y’all didn’t talk, there was nothing to talk about and if there was, it was that you both needed to forget about the past.

“Uhm.. I need to go to the bathroom.” You said, avoiding his question, getting up to go to the bathroom.

Into the bathroom you just thought of what he said ‘do you wanna go somewhere talk’ yeah what could he possibly wanna talk about right now.

Why was he being so confusing? You kept questioning it, walking out of the bathroom you saw Kenny standing there, waiting for you.

“I’m sorry if I made it weird.” He apologises.

“It’s fine.” You say not wanting to talk, but finally looking him in eyes.

“Okay, good.” He says. “We haven’t seen each other for long..”

“Err yeah, not only you, the whole beta squad.” You say rubbing your neck “I missed seeing everyone.”

“Yeah..”

“Why are you acting like this?” You ask him, you just wanna know why he suddenly wants to talk to you.

“Like what?” He asks.

“Like nothing has happened..” you tell him, “you suddenly wanna talk things out, if we didn’t work out before, what makes you think that things will change now?” You seriously didn’t know if you and him could be more than friends.

“I’m not. I promise I wanna fix things.” He promises.

“No Kenny. I think it’s gonna be better if we just stay as friends.” You say, ‘but what if he’s actually willing to fix things’ a thought suddenly crosses your mind.

“I’m not here to play, y/n.” He sighs.

“This is not happening, Kenny.” You say, and saw Sharky coming to look for you.

“Oh hey Kenny, I was just looking for y/n.” You were glad Sharky came, cuz now you could avoid this conversation. “Do you wanna get out of here?”

You nodded at him, and walked up to Sharky leaving Kenny just standing there and probably follow you both to the rest of the guys and Nella.

You both decided to leave, “I think we’re gonna leave now.” You say first going over to hug Nella, you saw her wink at you after looking at both of you and Sharky.

“Don’t have too much fun gal.” She laughs at you.

“Shut up.” You laugh into the hug, finally letting her go and hugging rest of the guys.

Sharky also said his goodbyes to everyone and you both finally left to his car. “What were you and Kenny talking about?” He asks.

“Nothing much.” You didn’t wanna talk about it, “just stuff how we haven’t seen each other and blah blah blah..” you laugh.

“Really? I don’t think you and Kenny are match..”

“What does that mean?” You can’t help, but smile, maybe you were being delusional, but this definitely calls jealousy “this isn’t love island to be a match or something.”

“That’s not what I meant..” he says seriously.

“I know that, but is that all?” You asked.

“No, he’s seriously needs to let it go.” He bagan, “it’s been already a while since you both happened.”

“I know.” Was all you could say, honestly you couldn’t care less about this now, you just wanted to focus on something else right now. “Thanks for noticing, I really appreciate you Sharky.”

“It’s okay, do you wanna go somewhere fancy?” He assured you.

“I’m not dressed fancy tho..” you say looking at your outfit.

“I think you look nice and I’m literally wearing sweatpants.” He laughs “we can go change or we can just go to store and buy something?”

“We can just go change, you don’t have to spend your money.”

“That’s alright.” He says, knowing there’s no problem buying you things, “Y/n I-“ Sharky began before I cut him off.

“Me too.” I blurred out, I know he wasn’t gonna tell me what I was gonna, but this could be my chance to do it.

“What?” He asks confused.

“I like you. And I like you more than friends.” I said.

“Really?” He asks, now he was definitely not about to say something like that, but he was glad you did. You just nodded at his question.

“I’ve liked you for a really long time.” You say, he didn’t say anything back, maybe he didn’t feel the same way and it was all dumb to say this.

so basically sssniperwolf used to be this gaming youtuber but she eventually turned into a half baked "reaction" channel where she just watches tiktoks, makes low effort surface level commentary, and then doesnt credit the creator of said tiktoks. jacksfilms is a comedy youtuber who does a bunch of stuff (sketches, streaming, something called YIAY where he gives ppl prompts / questions to answer n reads em out(with credit!(also hes been doing stuff with ai recently but mostly to show how mid it is which like. eh idk how i feel abt it but its not a dealbreaker))) and he at one point in 2023 called out sniper for her content stealking and lazy content.

he started doing this thing where he reacted to her videos the way she reacts to the videos she steals? i think? and then he gives credit to the creators that sniper reacts to i hope ur following. sniper eventually got mad and was like "uhhhmmm ur stealing from me....." which is rly funny considering she steals from SO many ppl. they had lowkey beef for a while (and obv jack was in the right the entire time) and on uhhhhhh lemme look this up hold on. october 13th of last year sniper posted an instagram story poll like "jacksfilms is close to this place im shooting at should i go see him" i guess to like? talk things out?

and then some amnt of time later while jack was playing jackbox on stream with his editors and stuff (dubbed the council) sniper showed up at his house, stood outside, and posted a video OF HIS HOME ON HER STORY. ON HER INSTAGRAM WITH OVER 5 MILLION FOLLOWERS. also to add even more context that i found out from youtube comments, sniper has been arrested for armed robbery before, so! some council member alerted jack and erin (jack's wife) was like "erm im gonna go outside" and everyone was like NO DONT OMG. eventually she deleted the story but by that point it was like wayyyy too late. and photos of his house were alr on twitter and stuff. the most ridiculous part is that when jack was rightfully like WHAG GHE HELL she was like this guy is creepy and hes been harassing me! i just wanna talk!!!

You know what. Fuck it. I don't have enough patience to fully type out all the roles and archetypes I will be using for my LU yugioh lore au, because there is a fuck ton of cards and lore and I will only be using like half of it plus some minor tearlaments lore for a possible what if timeline, if I choose to not make it Canon to my au. So I fucked up Wild's original lore I had planned out so I present Pre-Calamity wild aka, before the plot which the first War which Wild's first death happened. (Tbh I'm not sure if I should ramble about the au/lore with the art I made of this to explain but please let me know)

So, to explain pre main plot wild. Wild is a member of the Ice Barrier tribe, which outside of this au is one of the many members of the residents of Duel Terminal. Wild is based off of (for now) Georgius, swordsman of the Ice Barrier along with the mystic tunic. The ice barrier tribe live in a ice land (some can consider it to be a frozen waste land) guarding their ultimateweapons the three dragons of the Ice Barrier. (To be honest I was going to to post Sky first but Wild is like super easy to do because I don't really have to work as hair to find a color scheme but Sky is slowly going to be finish!) The ice Barrier tribe for this au will have alot of members because a lot of people die and Im not really sure how much ice barrier members die. Changing the original idea of this au to this, i was prepared to murder every character. (Sorry y'all, it's just how it works in Yugioh card lore, everyone dies or it's super cute and its a toxic meta deck). Now I'm not sure of Georgius's original lore purpose was (pretty sure he's apart of the new Ice Barrier support due to the art style change with the original ice barrier cards and I'm too lazy to look it up and something in my house is making the internet freak the fuck out and it didn't affect Ao3 so I was just mostly chilling all day reading ao3 while my Tumblr was freaking the fuck out along with my Google.) But I decided that because I choose Wild to formerly be Georgius, swordsman of the Ice Barrier, I choose the uh, more interesting route for Wild. Wild was connected to one of the Ice Barrier dragons, more specifically Trisula (which shall be hinted my me, to be a named character guess who), and during the War against, uh man I fucking forgot, FUCK! Okay so while I figure it out, it's before Cia's awakening. Which I shall explain once I get to Warriors because he is a big fuckinf tie in for speeding up the original lore aka waking her up. So one by one, the Ice Barrier tribe released its dragons, kept in their ice barrier prisons. Two main families that run the Ice Barrier tribe, were arguing in releasing the final third Ice Barrier dragon. Because in lore Trisula, dragon of the Ice Barrier was the most hateful mother fucker ever (yes this is some what of a joke but Trisula was the most violent out of the three ice barrier dragons.) And from this two families were childhood friends who didn't want Trisula to run the world in ruin, so they tried a Ritual that shall bring up another monster as an alternative to releasing Trisula, the Calamity. The two friends were Aurora and Hyrule. And with the failure of the Ritual, Aurora died, and Hyrule's mind was left plagued with the the Evilswarm (Calamity) that escaped from the earth. Now how does that relate to Wild? So Wild was in the splash zone of Cia's awakening, and Wild was injured by the explosion, and died to his wounds in First's (gem knight Crystal's) arms. Which his sword became the sword First use to fuse (yes Gem knights are the better Gems from Steven universe fight me bitches- I'm joking on the fighting part but Gem knight are the peace keepers of Duel Terminal, noble knight of Duel Terminal that protect the weak, which honestly better than Pre era three of the gems in SU) to become Gem knight Master diamond, which Wild's sword would become the goddess sword. Which after First dies the sword gets passed on to Sky/Gem knight lazuli to become the Master Sword of this au. Now how does Wild's death affect Trisula(in this au)? Well Trisula is fucking pissed because her favorite human (I will eventually reveal Trisula idenity and her reasons) died before he could see her be released. So trisula goes on a rampage and the other two ice barrier dragons join. So basically Wild's role as Georgius was to die and eventually become a puppet/Shaddoll like creature reborn Cia as his soul is trapped in a shell that barely mimics his old body to watch the outlier of the War, the one who doesn't belong to this space and time.

He is a good thief, but he doesn’t really love his job. He had no choice though.

He is pan, because he loves everyone.

Naveah mostly talks to friends he’s close with, like Mimebomb. But he mostly talks to Veronica, as of course that’s what siblings do.

Whenever Jessyka dunks on him, he brushes it off. Though he sometimes thinks if he even deserves to be in VILE in the first place. To which he doesn’t think he deserves it, neither does he believe his sister deserves it.

But it was either VILE, or horrible family life.

No favorite teacher, but has talked to Shadowsan some times before. He believes he is interesting, despite his serious looks.

Next will be ACME ocs! (Just 2 I think) and then, one more VILE oc, and then more ocs that are added to Carmen’s group (which are with the two first ocs I made, Ulani and Darila)

finally feeling brave enough to post my first Ámbina oneshot --

⚠️ **FOR CONTEXT!** ⚠️ **Location and time:** this takes place at the party during S3 ep 1 (or episode 161 overall). Also in my story of events, Gastón and Nina are best friends, rather than dating. Also, because im lazy, I set up my oneshots more like scripts. With indicators on who is speaking as well as actions. ------------------------------ Nina looked all around the room to see happy couples dancing arm in arm. Smiling faces everywhere she looked. She couldn’t help but smile herself, being surrounded by it all. But deep down, she missed Gastón. With Luna always off dancing with someone, Gastón and Nina always promised to be each other’s dance partners when they had no one else. But with him at school, she stood against the wall, her arms and heart empty. Not to mention the person whose arms she REALLY wanted to be in was nowhere to be found. Nina hasn’t seen Ámbar in weeks. After her godmother left, Ámbar wasn’t really on speaking terms with anyone. Nina wished there was something she could do to help, but wasn’t even sure where to begin. But then, as if she had read her thoughts, a pair of platform boots walked down the main stairwell. Nina looked up, and could feel her heart skip a beat. There was Ámbar, but in a way she had never seen her before. Her eyes painted with black eyeshadow, pink streaks danced through her hair, and a black dress matched with black lace leggings. She couldn’t tear her eyes away. She had known Ámbar for years, and never forgot an outfit she wore. This, was something totally new. And Nina loved it. As she made her way down the stairs, their eyes locked. And now Nina could REALLY feel her heart pounding. Ámbar let the smallest of smiles slip out as she slowly made her way over to her. Nina couldn’t pull her eyes away from hers. They looked like endless blue pools, with so so much to tell. But all she could say was, “…different” Ámbar shrugged Á: “yea well, get used to it. This is the real me.” N: “no no I…I like it. I meant like- different good.” Ámbar raised her eyebrows “I-If this is the real Ámbar…then I can’t wait to learn more about her.” Á: “that so?” Nina nodded. For a moment. They were silent. Ámbar too scanned the room, but she lacked the same joy Nina got. Á: “how come your not dancing?” N: “oh um…I always dance with Gastón and…you know heh.” Á: “ah. Right…” she trailed off, seeming like she wanted to say more, but was too embarrassed to do so. Nina watched her eyes yet again, as they went from group to group, as if she were trying read everyone in the room. N: “Á-Ámbar?” in a moment, Ámbar's eyes met her again. And Nina wasn’t sure what to do from here. Sure, she knew what she WANTED to say, but wasn’t sure if she’d work up the courage to say it. She raised a hand out before quickly using it to fix her hair. N: “would you maybe want to-“ A: “Yo! Ámbar!” a voice shouted through the crowd. The two of them directed their gaze to the voice, to see Amelia. And Nina could feel her stomach drop in anguish. Ámbar looked back to her. Á: “gotta go. Have a nice night Nina.” she said before walking to meet her friend. Nina wanted to shout to her. Tell her to have a nice night too. Ask her to wait just a moment so the two of them could dance. Tell Ámbar that more than anything, she hoped this ‘real her’ still had all the things that made her fall in love with her again and again. But now, with her too far to hear, all she could muster was a tiny voice under her breath. N: “you too, mi amor.” ------------------------------

this time i have a bit more thoughts on her as an actual character so ill start w that before the headcanon dump ... also, throughout this post ill be referring to her w she/her pronouns because of a personal headcanon im VERY attached to. all i ask is any rbs or further questions abt my specific vision of her use those same pronouns... in others posts i do not care obviously. also, this post is specifically abt her in the dsaf universe since shes far more substantial there.

firstly, i should say i ADORE harry. she is one of my biggest comfort characters in a series where almost everybody is one for me. so when i give any criticisms, know its out of love and a wish for some more expansive writing rather than any malice. being critical of media you love is important, etc etc.

my biggest issues with her character really boils down to the lack of acknowledgement abt her being physically disabled. she mentions having a "bad leg" during 3, but its ONLY mentioned that one time, during (i believe) missable dialogue. i understand her not using, like, mobility aids for it since it may be difficult to find suitable stock images (+ all the phonies in that game use the same photos for their bodies, and its totally possible its not something she feels she needs), but it probably shouldve been mentioned or expanded upon more.

i dont believe were given any explanation on how her leg ended up the way it is, or in what way it is. we dont know if she was born with her disability or aquired it later. we dont know if its paralyzed, we dont know if its because of a muscular dystrophy, or anything else. i just wish we were given more info, bcus as it is, it is REALLY easy to look over in favor of, say, her ptsd.

speaking of which, i have some mixed feelings on how her ptsd is portrayed. on one hand, the joke in the restaurant reviews abt her having flashbacks and a subsequent panic attack feels very distasteful, though thankfully this is (i believe) the only instance of this kind of joke at her expense. im glad elsewise it isnt some huge , controlling part of her character - however, again, it IS missable. while one can assume she has it when she discusses her past, i dont believe its explicitly stated UNTIL that review.

tldr; her disability feels poorly handled, mostly from lack of expansion and discussion.

thankfully, though, she is elsewise a very enjoyable character; shes got some really good and funny dialogue, the exposition we get from her about the original managers is really fucking good, and i really wish we heard more abt her experience working with rebecca (and presumably roger)... again, her biggest issues are just not having as much of a spotlight on her as she couldve, but considering the employees arent really the main focus of the game that may be fine actually...

(as an aside, i think about this post every day and cry audibly.)

has ptsd in canon, but im adding a "c" in front of that cause aint no way she lived through all of her coworkers (and presumably FRIENDS) dying in such horrific ways and was only affected in the short-term.

autistic! specifically also has the thing i do where i need the time to be a multiple of 5 before i can start doing anything. also has generalized anxiety i think, with a tendency to catastrophize and compensates by insisting to herself everything is toootally fine. definitely NOT going to have a breakdown rn because shes not totally sure that that vending machine is 100% not going to fall on her specifically

probably didnt have many friends as a kid (L) so now she overcompensates by trying to be as charming and polite as possible. wether or not this works in her favor or makes her seem pretentious is a coinflip. (its certainly working on me though!)

has a real soft spot for random niche animals. probably a big salamander and gecko girl. her favorite is the marbled salamander because its cute as hell
