Yes I am this way on all platforms and have several content creators I wanna be friends with, but the thought of me taking the lead to message them kills me

I've done it once before and after we talked once they never messaged me back so now I don't do it anymore 😭😭😭 it's like soul crushingly awkward

Do you ever become mutuals with someone you share an intense interest with and it becomes this limbo of "I want to be your friend SO fucking bad but I'll eat a shoe before dm-ing first"
