Me: So, I'm just gonna write this semi-poetic one-shot that details Anders' many escape attempts from the Circle.

Me, three days later: So, I've written and edited eight chapters, and this shit is basically done, but I'll sleep on it and then just start posting.

Me, another three days later: Yeah so, I slept on it a lot, and now I'm gonna rewrite every chapter, change the tense and narrative tone, and I already doubled the word count for the first chapter I re-did.
