#i figured having some dialogue with thorin and dis would be nice

He watched as she was lost in thought for a breath and then continued to eat her pie. Usually he would have worried about what she was thinking but the tender blush of her cheeks made him smile and not pry, it couldn’t have been anything bad with a face like that. It was lovely just having this moment alone to talk and discuss everything that had been mounting in their lives and finally coming to a head but for now he figured that he should just rest in the knowledge that it could wait until they returned

“You’re right, azyûngal, one step at a time” he said gently with a smile still caressing her hand as he hadn’t let it go just yet. it was warm and calming and the simple act it was what he yearned so long for it was sending butterflies a flight in his stomach just for the sensation alone.

“So, should we spend the day in Dale before we head back? Or just enjoy the lakeside?” He asked her with a smile as he rubbed her hand with his thumb.

“Well could you blame him??” Asked Dis to Thorin after they had finally finished eating. All morning they had discussed the night before and even more this morning with fili and idunn now both out of the mountain. Kili had gotten annoied after he ate and requested that he leave the table but dis insisted he stay a while longer so now he was juggling spoons and letting them clang on the table every once in a while, especially at moments of most annoyance to him.

“I could. L i understand BUT there are ways it should be done. He looks like a mad youngling” (clang) thorin sai expressed looking at his tea, cold again as he had been rating and complaining with every step of the situation. Thinya had already left to start her duties with her ladies, and unknowingly to thorin she started gathering information and planning ways to help the couple. She was annoied at the way he was making such a fuss when he was the most lovestruck dwarf out there. “I jus’ feel, that he could have just told us that he had someone in mind instead of doing this. I’m more angry that he feels we will just ignore what he wants and just refuses to hear what we have to say”

“Well i talked to him, maybe he just knows his uncle” dis said as she ate her last bit of food as thorin scowled “no, he just doesn’t want to hear bad news. I know we know the dwarrowdam, and she went on the journey with is and i will take into account that we all share that. But i still haven’t had time to get to know her (clang)and there are still other dwarf lords that could offer up trade and have daughters to show off. (Clang)You’d be surprised at how petty they could get for not even getting a chance.” Thorin grumbled as he spoke and kili let out a long sigh and let al the spoons fall on the table and thorin looked at him

“Do ye have somethin’ t’share kili?” Thorin asked kili a little raised and frustrated at the constant panging in his ear and the later opened his mouth ready to speak but smiled and said “no, i dont think i should” he said and thorin’s hands sort of jumped up like he was going to choke the air itself and his eyes gave a wee twitch as dis gave a little laugh and a shake to her head “okay then, i think you’ve been here long enough i’m done hearing those spoons” he said as he watched kili hop up quickly and start leaving before they changed their minds. And just as the door closed he smiled and dis adjusted in her seat pressing her palms into the table to extend her spine into its tall back

“ he’s going to tell him everything you said” she said with a laugh and at that he smirked tiredly as he rubbed his face with a large palm “oh i know, i feel he will tell him what i can’t at least, maybe he will understand my point of view during the wild rantings of kili” he said as he sighed a while, as dis smiled “well lets hope it works in your favor then. I just want fili to be happy after all of this. Just because now we are in a position to give him a great wealthy connected wife doesn’t mean he has to have what WE believe is best for him, we should give her a fair chance. For fili’s sake.” She said gently looking at her fingers before looking to her brother scowling at her now “.. we’ll see.” Thorín said after a little while of thinking.

When Fili took that time to try and enjoy the ride but the anxiety of just thinking of that dragon under the water reminded him of a story Thorin told him about when he was suffering dragon sickness. standing in the middle of that golden floor feeling like he was sinking and smaug was underneath it and he feared that any moment the dragon would swoop down and breathe fire or even burst out of the water when he was near the shores again- ’relax fili,everything is okay…its dead.. the nly thing that is real and alive there is her…idunn’ he thought as he opened his eyes again and sighed blinking a bit his eyes as he got closer and closer to the lake and as it seemed to grow before his eyes locked on her soaked red hair beautiful like oxidizing copper in the sun and he smiled as he hopped off his pony slowly walked up behind her not missing the cheeky fact that she was indeed in her undergarments and he saw how beautiful her frame was and her focus allowing his big feet to sneak up behind her and he couldn’t help but feel peace when she was anywhere around and he just let out a long sigh and could see her jump lightly, probably recognizing his voice

“so is this what you do when things get bad? you run away and i find you wet and half naked, i guess it could be worse haha” he teased her with a laugh as he came closer to her and leaned over before he kissed her head gently and didn’t pry on the front of her he wanted to wait, he wanted to marry her before he found out her body it was a blessing and he wanted to wait more than ever. “whatever he said you don’t have to worry because he doesn’t know and you are my life, my one and no matter how anyone may think i am not having a lap in judgement. i found my one and i’m walking through hellfire to have her. So my love, when we go back to that mountain i want you to go through those gates with me hand in hand and just be us. or however you want to do it, i am not ashamed and if just walking back together is what you wanted we can do that too because it doesn’t mean you aren’t in love, you have a right to be cautiousness if that will help you i will do that. so long as you are by my side.i am so happy i could dance naked through Erebor haha” he said and he smiled at her then stood up again “now put on your clothes so i can hold you properly Azyungal” he said with a chuckle and turned around “i’m not looking” he said and was smiling to himself with a chuckle.
