Rereading the Our Worlds at War tie-in again and God I miss their friendship every day

#they're such an underrated dynamic from this series #like throughout yj98 there's a definite distance between tim and everybody else since he can't reveal his identity to them #and cassie is definitely way closer to cissie and kon and bart than she is to him bc of that distance #and you can feel that awkwardness here in the way she apologizes to him immediately -- they're not at the level #where she can just shout and be mean to him and know it'll be fine -- not like she is with cissie or kon #but for tim -- i think he is at that level? like he wouldn't shout at her either but that's cause he's generally sweet to the yj girls #he doesn't butt heads with cassie like he does with the guys - but i also think she's someone he trusts to have his back in a very real way #and i think it's really telling that when everybody was confronting him about batman's contingencies it was CASSIE'S opinion #he asked for -- like she was the last person he thought would think that of him #obligatory 'the two people who died in his granny goodness nightmare were cassie and kon'#idk there's such an undercurrent of care even if they don't get as many 'this is my best friend' moments like some of the others #aghhhh #and the way cassie so clearly respects his opinion and is so worried he'll be mad at her when she replaces him as leader #the way she's the first one to hug him when he comes back to the team after he quits #oof. oh so i just spent like 8 hours drawing something just to look for references just now and realize that someones already drawn literally this thing with similar artistic choices and stuff too

Hi for ppl that keep up with lethalleangue/lldaily I am genuinely so sorry that ive been posting like once every 4 days on there ive been having horrible art block and i need to like Force myself to draw. im still really really autistic about lethal league dw i just havent felt like making anything at all. and the stuff i do draw is gay people (as pictured above) (first 4 drawings are lyrics from pygmalion - the scary jokes, i adore drawing sappy candydust so much but their Rivalry/Vaguely pining era is also very fun)
