I said this under a reblog already, but I’m worried about DAWN’s career moving forward from the breakup. He left Cube Ent. before he could really establish an independent fanbase or artistic identity. Even in PNation, I felt like he was bouncing around concepts with his releases - not really making anything his own, even though I enjoyed his music. Plus, all of the libelous accusations being thrown at him don’t look good for him.
And without HyunA or other collaborators from PNation (which played a big part in his general public recognition), he might fade into the background.
HyunA will be fine since she’s been in the industry since she was a literal child, and her name carries 10+ years of experience and popularity behind it: 4Minute, Bubble Pop, Following, A Talk, etc. DAWN was barely in the spotlight before the scandal broke.
Hopefully, he can use his connections now to continue making music. I was a big fan of Money and Dawndididawn (Tantara, my beloved), and hope he can make things that reflect his brand as an idol.
