#i feel like somehow davrin's relationship to being an elf fits with the existing lore more than bellara's???#and maybe it's because she's a veil jumper and was studying their history very intentionally#but davrin's like the only person who brings up how the rest of the world views elves#and he talks about his clan and visits eldrin and everything#and it plays a big part in how he deals with the griffons#idk i think he's written pretty well and his character growth is interesting to watch#btw don't get me wrong i love bellara i brought her everywhere#we were very often. the elf squad#dav
