i feel like. talking and writing so much about my own identity in this new course is like. scary but also great but also it sometimes feels like a. "oh look at me this is who i am" which shouldnt be a bad thing but i. like. idk but thats also the point of this project sjcnsjd

#like om trying to say its OKAY to be all these things and its okay to have these experiences and talk about them #bc so much of it feels like you shouldnt talk about it #and not in a homophobic way but like #'its obvious youre asian why do u need to talk about it' or like 'no one wants to hear about your upbringing #bc thats such a not fun topic'#and its like. okay yeah but thats. thats /me/#and i know that unfortunately there are others who relate to that so like #NQKDNSKDMD #i have such a big picture in my head for this project and i hope i execute it well but im going to scream idk if i can #i feel like its leaning mroe towards the visual art side of the art degree #which btw im not doing at all 😐#so worst case i might just turn it into a small anthology-esque collection #(idk if i can legally call it an anthology just bc of the way im doing it hut anyways)#kat talks
