Steve can see it in Max. That same loneliness and ache that he finds in himself. For him, it’s result of his parents leaving with no intent to return to him unless absolutely necessary.
He knows he was an accident. Or rather a mistake as his father used to call him when he was particularly angry. But it made sense to him. Steve's the reason his father had to marry his mother. He left him "trapped." And maybe no one says it out loud, but he can tell his mother feels the same way too.
But they must keep up appearances, right?
Which is what Max has been trying to do since Billy died, El moved away, and it's been just her and her mom. But she's been going about it through a different route - pushing people away all while pretending things are fine. But Steve sees the way she picks up the broken pieces of her mom and tries to put them back together - Steve's had to do the same thing before.
So, he starts sticking around a little longer. Offering her more rides to the arcade and around town to pick up groceries when she needs to. Sometimes he'll tell her about a new recipe he's been trying for a casserole and pick up the ingredients, pretending like the milk and butter he bought will spoil by the time he drives home from her trailer.
Of course, they both know it's a lie, but Max humors him and plays along. She'll let him cook dinner while she picks up the bottles her mom left on the floor, dumps out the overflowing ashtray, and feeds the dog. Usually, Steve will ask her what she's learning in school and linger a little longer than usual in hopes that she'll say more than the usual, "I don't know. A bunch of boring stuff."
But lingering has gotten a lot of things out of Max such as her love for Kate Bush, a story about El and how much she misses her, and short quips about Lucas before she gets a sad smile on her face. Steve doesn't really know what to say most of the time, but he hopes that just being there will help.
Unfortunately, lingering and just being there has led him to his current predicament of none other than Eddie "The Freak" Munson sitting on the hood of his car glaring at him as he walks out of Max's place. Steve jumps a little, startled by the figure on his car and becoming more hostile as he sees the expression on his face. He shoves his hands in his pockets and slows his pace. "Is there a problem?"
Eddie snorts humorlessly. "Christ. You're really going to pretend like there's nothing wrong with what's happening?"
Steve's brows furrow, entirely missing whatever point he's trying to make.
Eddie stands up and stalks toward him. "I see you, you know. Always lurking around when her mom isn't home. Coming out of her trailer late at night."
Steve laughs, finally understanding the absurd conclusion he's come to. "Jesus, man. You're delusional."
Steve doesn't expect it, but Eddie sharply shoves his chest and grits, "I don't fucking lie to me, Harrington."
Steve holds his hands up. "I'm not," he firmly states. "Nothing like that is happening here. I'm glad you're looking out for her, but it isn't like that."
"Do you expect me to believe that? Maybe this is why you're always hanging around Henderson and the other kids."
Steve crosses his arms and his jaw tenses. "I'm not a fucking pervert or a pedophile if that's what you're trying to say. I'm just looking after them."
"Why?" Eddie asks, dramatically opening his arms, "Why would King Steve adopt a group of misfits to take under his wing? See, the math isn't adding up."
Usually, Steve would just brush it off and tell the person to fuck off and mind their own business. But his parents have just left town again without leaving a note and Max had snapped when Steve tried to help her clean the place because it looked worse than usual, and he was just generally feeling like shit and angry at his parents and Max's parents for not being there. So he broke, "Because I don't want Max to end up like me! I don't want any of those kids to grow up without a role model. And god forbid if any of those other kids' parents fuck up, and they’re left with only me. I need them to know that I'm there for them! Because sometimes it feels like whenever the world goes to shit, I'm the only one who is there, and I plan to stay there, okay?!"
He finishes his rant breathing a little heavier than usual and noticing that a few of the lights in the trailers have turned on around them. He looks around and awkwardly nods to the people glaring out their windows. God, he needs to get a grip.
When he turns back to Eddie, he notices the conflicted expression, jaw dropped, eyebrows knitted together, eyes searching him as if he's still wondering if he's lying.
A door creaks open behind them and Steve curses under his breath as he hears Max say, "Eddie, leave him alone. Do you really think I would hook up with my damn babysitter? Jeez."
"Language," Steve quietly lectures as the door swings shut. He runs his hands over his face and takes a deep breath. It's been a long fucking day.
A hand lands on his arm and tugs him away from Max's trailer. Steve glances up at Eddie, leading him across the way. "Where are we going?"
"My place," Eddie says.
"Why?"
"So we can talk."
God, the last thing he wants to do is talk to Eddie of all people, the guy he's been actively avoiding since Dustin started worshipping the ground - or rather tables - he walks on. But he lets himself be pulled away in the trailer and practically deposited on the couch in the living room.
He glances up and comments, "That's a lot of mugs."
"My uncle's, but that's not what I wanted to... Christ," Eddie says, pacing in front of Steve and tugging his hair in front of his face. The anxious display makes Steve feel even more tired, but he lets him pace. God, what is he even doing here?
"I'm sorry," Eddie blurts out. "I'm just..." he trails off and rushes over to grab a stool a few feet away before dragging it in front of the couch. He sits on it but his leg still holds that nervous energy as it rapidly bounces up and down. "I jumped to conclusions, and it was really shitty of me, man. I just... didn't believe what Henderson was saying about you and thought 'Oh, this makes way more sense than Steve Harrington being a good dude.' And I'm sorry to accuse you of that. And I... I didn't know about your... parents and stuff. Like I knew they were away a lot because of your parties but... I just never connected the dots. And I'm sorry. No one deserves that shit, man."
Steve doesn't know what to do this whole interaction, especially with it coming from Eddie Munson who he doesn't think he's ever talked to before this moment, but... he needs to hear it. God, he needs to hear it.
Of course, he can't let him know this, so he does what he's best at and brushes it off. "It's fine. You were just looking out for the kids. And really just ignore what I said back there, it isn't that big of a deal."
Eddie worries his bottom lip before he blurts out, "I know what it's like." He pauses and takes a deep breath. "I mean, I know what it's like to have... absent parents. But in my case, eventually, my uncle Wayne took me in, and I can only imagine if he didn't." He gives him a pointed look and lowers his voice, "Do you have someone like that?"
A big part of Steve wants to leave right now, and he knows there's nothing stopping him. But a bigger part of him needs to stay. Needs to talk about the emptiness in his house that he can never truly escape at the end of the day that he can’t talk to anyone about. Because he's not supposed to be weak. He's supposed to take care of the others. So he admits, "No, I don't have... anyone like that. Except Robin but..."
"That's different," Eddie finishes the thought for him.
Steve nods. He loves Robin, but he loves her as a platonic soulmate and not as a parent figure in his life. "You know, I once had this basketball coach in middle school - Mr. Weston. And I remember looking up to him so much. I wanted to be just like him, and I would go to his office during lunch and ask him for advice or talk about dumb shit that my father would never talk about. But he never shamed me for my questions. And sometimes he even packed an extra dessert for me." Steve smiles at the memories and runs a hand through his hair, remembering the day he got the news. "But one time, when I went to his office, he had this look on his face. And I just knew it was bad news. And really, it wasn't bad news to him because his wife was pregnant. But she wanted to move a few states away to raise the kid closer to her family. And it wasn't his fault, you know? It wasn't like he purposely chose to move away from me, but I felt like I was abandoned again."
Steve wipes a tear from his eye and puts his head in his hands. "God, I don't know why I'm even telling you this story. Sorry."
"Don't apologize," Eddie says quickly. He pauses and shifts on the stool, his gaze being far away. "I remember him. He was one of the only gym teachers that defended me against all the shitty middle school bullies. He was a good person.”
Steve nods. God, he was a good person.
Eddie continues, “I'm sorry that he left. And I bet he still regrets leaving you behind."
Steve leans back against the couch and looks away, shaking his head. "I bet he forgot about me."
"You're kind of hard to forget."
Steve looks at Eddie and sees a slight blush on his cheeks as he shakes his head and waves his hands as if trying to make the comment go away. "What I mean is that there's no way he's forgotten about you. Someone who you used to have lunch with all the time to the point of giving you free food... Nah, man. He remembers you. I think you may have been as important to him as he was to you."
The thought breaks away at a wall Steve had built up long ago. "Thanks," he practically whispers.
Eddie just smiles at him, small dimples appearing on his cheeks.
"You didn't deserve it either, you know," Steve says. "The absent parent stuff. Even with Wayne, they should've been here too."
Eddie's smile falters a bit as he swallows and looks at the ground. "Thanks," he mumbles. He looks up at Steve and comments, "Getting sappy with Steve Harrington. Who knew."
"Yeah, getting sappy with Eddie Munson," Steve echoes back at him.
Eddie laughs, "I'm surprised you even know my name."
"You're kind of hard to forget," Steve says easily.
That same blush comes back to Eddie who shifts in his chair a bit as if he needs to process the information with his whole body.
They sit in the moment for a bit before Eddie gets a somewhat serious look on his face and offers, "You know, I'm definitely not a parent figure or anything, but I'm always here and around to talk about that whole thing if you need to."
Steve's heart beats a little faster at the sheer genuineness. "Same here," he can't help but offer in return. He glances down at his watch and sighs, "It's getting late, so I better..."
"Right," Eddie says, standing up and leading him to the door. "Do you need water for the road or anything?"
Steve smiles and pats him on the back without thinking too hard about it. "I'm good, man. But thank you. For everything really."
"Sorry for being an asshole," Eddie apologizes again.
"Usually that's my line," Steve accidentally voices before cringing a bit, wondering further why Eddie's been so kind to him.
But as he opens the door, Eddie comments, "I don't know. It seems like Dustin was right about the whole reformed jock thing. Maybe your crown really has fallen - which is a good thing by the way."
Steve slightly smiles at him before he turns to leave. But he can't help but say, "I wonder what the neighbors will think about me leaving your trailer so late."
Eddie groans then laughs. "Sorry to ruin your image."
"I wouldn't mind," Steve replies, honestly unsure what he means by that. "Goodnight, Eddie."
"Goodnight, Steve," Eddie says, that same blush on his cheeks, only this time Steve isn't sure if it's something he said or a result of the cold night air.
In bed that night, Steve feels a slight weight lifted from him and can't help but feel like he’s a little less alone.
#steddie#eddie munson#steve harrington#stranger things#steddie ficlet#leave it to Eddie to tell Steve the things he needs to hear#sometimes it just shakes me to the core when I realize how alike they are#like yes. they absolutely have their differences#but at the core they have similar experiences that they need to process#and really I think they need each other#because they’re both so willing to die for others and see the worth in everyone but themselves#but put them together and that worth goes back and forth#I just see them learning a lot from each other#and it’s a really beautiful thing#ANYWAYS#hi guys. thanks for sticking through that massive tag rant thing 💛

how would valentino and the rest of the vees reacting to his daughter getting shot? And ending up in the hospital.
I sat on the edge of my bed with my arms crossed and I gave my father my best angry look. Tonight was supposed to be my Daddy’s night to stay home with me, and instead he was off to his studio.
Valentino sighed and pulled back the covers as he laid down next to me. He waited until my body snuggled against him before pulling the covers over us both.
“I wanna go with you!” I whined into him. “Daddy.!”
“Mi amore, nothing fun ever happens in my studio,” my father told me as he tucked the covers into a cocoon around me. “Only work. I promise I’ll be home in the morning.”
“I don’t mind Daddy,” I pleaded. “I want to stay with you.”
He ignored the request I had made at least seven times already. “Would you like me to have Aunt Velvette or Uncle Vox come lay down with you for a little while?”
I wrapped my arms around his neck in response and he sighed.
“Baby, I can stay until you fall asleep. That’s it. If you wake up in the middle of the night, you need to go wake one of them, okay?”
I buried my face into him and fought to keep my eyes open as long as I could. When I woke up hours later, I was alone. I climbed out of bed and rubbed my eyes. The same fear that washed over me earlier in the day raced over me now. I ran to his room, only to find the bed empty.
“Daddy!” I screamed.
Only silence answered me. Without a second thought, I ran down the back stairs into his studio.
Unlike the usual quiet, the bright lights flashed and around me, demons shouted as they rushed around. Terrified, I slipped by as I tried to make my way through the maze of unfamiliar chaos. Why were there so many people in my Daddy’s studio?
I heard the loud crack and pop echo through the floor and I looked around. Fireworks? Inside? Was Daddy celebrating something without me?
I marched down the hallway, eager to find the source of the noise. Around me, the chaos seemed to erupt and suddenly, I found myself on the ground and pain flooded through my tummy. I wanted to yell, to scream for my Daddy but instead blackness washed though my brain.
Haze flowed through me as I tried to blink my eyes open. White walls, white sheets, white everything. Panic settled in and I tried to fight against the plastic on my face. Familiar hands pushed my arms down.
“No bebita, no no. Shush. Daddy is here. Leave it alone.” I heard my fathers voice say soothingly. “Just relax. Papi is here.”
Pain shot through me and I let out a whimper. He pressed his heavy hand to my forehead and stroked my hair.
“Daddy I don’t feel good,” I mumbled. “My tummy hurts.”
“I know sweetheart, you were in an accident,” he replied softly. “Your tummy will hurt for a while, but you will be okay.”
“I tired to find you, I yelled for you,” I said as loudly as I could. “Where were you?”
An expression I had never seen before danced across his face. I tried to lift my arms to reach for him and he leaned over and kissed my forehead.
“I’m so sorry baby, I…”
The sound of a door opening interrupted whatever it was he was about to say. Panicked voiced of my Aunt and Uncle floated through the room.
“Val. We put the extra cameras up, and a lock and she shouldn’t ever be…”
“Vox, shut up. The baby is awake,” Velvette hissed.
I felt the weight of her sitting on the bed and a kiss on my forehead. “Auntie brought you your stuffed doggie and Uncle Voxxy brought you your tablet. Do you want your stuffie?”
I wrapped my arms around my well worn stuffed animal and she put her hand on the top of my head.
“Can she sit up yet? I want to run a brush through her hair.” Velvette continued.
My father glanced at her and hit a button. Slowly, the bed raised up. Aunt Velvette got to work, her fingers floating through my hair. Within moments, I had two braids and the bed lowered back down.
“Tummy hurts,” I whined after a few moments.
Vox looked concerned. He glanced to Valentino. “I want to see what the stitches look like.”
Valentino shrugged and leaned over. “Baby, I’m going to let Uncle Vox take a look at your tummy, okay?”
I heard a small beep and felt something cold flood into my brain. The room turned fuzzy and my Daddy gently tucked up my shirt. Through the haze I could barely make out the lines of bright blue and red stitches that decorated my belly.
“They should help keep any infection at bay,” I heard Vox say quietly to my father. “The thread won’t be released for public use for at least six months, but all the testing came back positive. At the very least, it can’t hurt.”
I felt my shirt be tucked back down and a wave of sleepiness washed over me. My eyes grew heavy and I tried to fight through the feeling, terrified I would wake up alone again.
“Daddy!” I mumbled. “Don’t…don’t leave.”
“I won’t baby, I promise. I will never, ever leave you again,” he replied quickly. “Sleep, I promise I’ll be here…”
I could feel the sadness well up in my chest and I tried to fight through the sleepiness. “You didn’t! You left me!”
“Val, don’t…” Aunt Velvette said.
“Fuck it,” Valentino growled.
I felt his weight on the bed and the warmth of his body under mine. Instinctively, I snuggled against him.
“Daddy won’t ever leave you again, I promise,” he muttered softly. “Sleep, bebita.”

Definitely need a part 2 for Casual!! It's so good.
There are so many thoughts spinning. Not suggesting you use any just thoughts that popped up at the end, like, what if Zeff finds out? They start to do it more often, and one accidently says I love you? Or the typical what if she gets pregnant trope.
18+
A/N IMPORTANT: Hey Anon ! Thank you for the interest you took in casual ! Your ideas help me a lot. I confess I had indeed many though spinning around and as you will see, I will probably have to do a part 3. I hope you will like it.
Casual Part 2
Part 1 ( NSFW)
OPLA - Vinsmoke Sanji
Sanji / OPLA Masterlist and Coming Soon
* English is not my first language, I tried really hard to correct myself but, I hope you will excuse me if some mistakes are still there.
—
The busy kitchen of the Baratie was as usual like a battlefield. The dinner rush had started and everywhere, cooks, waiters and chore boys were running to satisfy the customers and your father.
Yourself active with your orders, you couldn’t still stop your mind to think at this event a few weeks earlier. Sure, the festivity around the anniversary of the Baratie had been quite spectacular, but like the fireworks that had exploded that night, you couldn’t stop your brain from flashing souvenirs of things Sanji had done to you.
Like when he had insisted on kissing every exposed skin when he had undressed you or how the light of a firework ,coming from your window, had illuminated so beautifully his expression of pleasure when you had taken him in your mouth.
But the memory of the end of round two was the one who came back the most.
When with his wet mouth he had kissed your shaking tights, after that delicious session when he had eaten you out like a starving man. He had crawled above you, gently placing your legs on each side of his hips, letting his long fingers run on them, kissing your breast before capturing your lips. The change of pace didn’t affect you at first but, as he had pushed himself in you, his gaze totally caught in yours, as you moaned and were begging him to go deeper, your hand trying to find a grip on his back. You felt an intimity that wasn’t there before. As he thrusted in you faster, your vision still locked into each other, seeing the pleasure built, sharing needs, praises and encouragements, you knew that this exact point in time was special.
You knew that you were screwed when even cooking couldn’t shake off of your mind the way he had looked at you and groaned your name when he had finally come.
Of course he had moaned and said your name many times during the entirety of your sexy time, but not with as much intensity. Like if you were his whole world.
“ Y/N I need this salted crepe now, not tomorrow ! “ Your father shouted, making you jump.
“ Yes chef ! “ You replied, resuming your task, angry at yourself for allowing you to be that much affected by some casual sex. At least, the blond cook wasn’t in the kitchen , being once again removed from the line.
By the time the dinner rush was over, your head was clear, but you knew that you couldn’t just brush the sensation under the rug, you needed to clarify the situation and for the sake of Sanji and maybe, move on.
—
Humiliation and rage was boiling in Sanji veins as he was serving tables. How the old man could remove him once again from the kitchen just because of his fresh ideas. Sure, those days the inspiration didn’t stop, but it wasn’t really like he could stop his brain from thinking about cooking. Mainly now that if he wasn’t thinking about food, he was thinking of you. Mostly naked, your eyes filled with lust, whispering how good he makes you feel. Many frustrated nights had been spent, almost sleepless thinking about you. Stroking himself until he found his release, your name on his lips.
He knew he had to do something, tell you somethings, but every chance he had so far, your dad or a member of the staff had interrupted you. Living in a restaurant ship in the middle of the sea was, often, a pain in the ass when you wanted intimacy.
Watching from the corner of his eye the last client leaving, he finished to clean his last table before heading to the kitchen. With some luck you will still be there. But, as he was pushing the door, the only reminding person in the kitchen was Patty, cleaning the room.
“ Hey Patty, good to see that you finally do something you're good at “ He playful said, always happy to annoy the blue haired cook. “ I just finish the dinner room “
“ Good, I will see if Y/N has done the bar and we can call it a day. Boss man is probably already asleep, the lucky man “ The cook replied putting his rag on his shoulder.
“ I will go see if she’s done, go to sleep Patty, that's okay “ Sanji assured him, finally seeing his chance to be alone with you. “ Good night !”
“ Good night Sanji. Don't mess up the kitchen while I sleep“ The cook said, misunderstanding the eagerness of the sous-chef and heading to the dorms, as the blond man quickly walked to the bar.
You were behind the counter, aligning the bottles when he stepped in the open air area. Your hair down and your cook uniform gone, you were simply splendid in your faded t-shirt and shorts.
“ Sorry sir, the bar is closed “ You joked, the heat you recently felt every time you saw him taking his place in your lower belly.
But Sanji didn’t seem to hear you, his gaze focused as he joined you behind the bar, his arms forming around your body a lovely prison. One hand buried in your hair as the other found the small of your back, he headed straight to your lips, taking your breath away. He didn’t intend to rush you, but many days of thinking about being alone with you got the better of him.
Closing your eyes, you smiled, nibbling his bottom lips as he pulled you closer deepening the kiss.
“ Sanji, that’s a bad idea, somebody could see us…” You tried to protest, unable yourself to stop kissing his jaw and reaching with shaking fingers the small boutons of his shirt.
“ The bar is at the opposite side of the dock and everybody is asleep “ He replied, his breath short as he slid his hand under your shirt, making you whine under his warm hands against your fresh air cold skin. “I’m sorry darling, but I found myself in need of you.I had become addicted to your little moaning and your warmth. It drive me crazy” He confessed, smiling as his thumbs found your nipples under the thin fabric of your bra, making you moan as your body reacted to his touch.
" I had spent the last week thinking of how good it was to have you in me and what I would do to you " You responded, opening his shirt, leaving a trail of kisses on his chest " I think we need each other and way more frequently. "
" I agree. '' He said, as he opened your shorts, pushing aside your panties, brushing his fingers against the tender flesh. “ I would eat you out until the sun rises but after last time I don’t trust you to be quiet. “ He teases, his thumbs giving a small push against your clit, when two of his fingers were testing your entrance.
Trapped between the bar and Sanji's body, you bite your lips feeling his fingers, wet by your arousal, invading your warm center. On your lips, your moaning was dying under his kisses, but your body, accusing the fasten rhythm of his finger, was burning like a fever. Restrained by the small space of your shorts, each of his thrust short and deep, making you moan against his mouth. Bringing you closer to your release.
But, as you were letting go a little cry, Sanji slowly removed his hand, turning you against the bar, putting your shorts and pantie down before undoing his pants.
“ I’m sorry love, but I can’t wait any longer. “ He whispered against your shoulder “ Do you know how good you are around my finger, I have to be inside you or I will die before I see the All Blue. “
Gently pushing is cock in you, letting you adjust to his length, he slowly starts to thrust, his hands traveling on your body, caressing every sensitive area to his knowledge.
“ Sanji…” You moaned, as he leaves love bites between your neck and your shoulder. His pace took some speed, like if he had felt your need.
Securing one of his hands on your hip for a more firm control, his finger returned on your clit, teasing it with small circles, making you whine and grip the border of the bar.
Being quiet became more difficult when your orgasm caught you. Now that you hadn’t the mouth of your blond lover to mute you, you only could count on the noise of the night and the waves to help you muffle the sound of your small cry and your panting breath.
Stepping back, sliding out of you, not ready to come yet in your pulsing cunt. Sanji gently lifts you in his arms, before taking a comfortable seat on the burgundy seat.
You always liked the large bench at the end of the small bar. It was usually your spot after work, when the day had been rough and you needed a drink. But now as Sanji has taken a seat, supporting your hands while you installed yourself on his lap, you know it will definitely become your favorite spot.
Kissing his face, enjoying his lazy smile and his gaze darken by desire, as he watches his cock disappear into your folded. You smile of ease, rocking your hips, taking you time to feel every inch filling you.
“ Sanjii” You whined, the slow friction fogging your brain.
“Is that good darling ?“ He whispered, his hands taking a firm hold of your ass, helping you with the last inch before reaching his trembling tights.”hm..fuck...chérie”
Moaning against the crock of his neck, you nod of the head, not entirely trusting your voice to not scream or cry, as you lift yourself up and let your body come down again. After some slow trust, you finally settle a steady rhythm, copying the motion of the sea, hiding in the crashing noise of the wave, the sound of your heated skin against each other.
Kissing your lips, trying to keep himself in check, letting you in full control,as his fingers press harder into the soft skin of your ass cheeks, he groaned. Did you only know how pretty you are, bouncing like that on his laps, your lips parted, panting and moaning as quietly that possible, your eyes closed by pleasure, your right hand hidden under your shirt playing with one of your nipple and the other grabbing the left shoulder of his dress shirt in your fist. Did you know how he would worship you and your body for days if you let him.
“ Sanji, i’m so close..I “ You moaned into his ears, your hips becoming more frenetic.
“ In my laps or...on your back “ Sanji simply asked letting you decide of the way you will welcome your orgasm, his breath becoming more heavy as his own release was approaching.
“ Laps” You only replied, your forehead meeting is as a complicity you only started to learn.
Your locked arms around his neck, your scream hushed by his hungry mouth, you could feel his hips rocking against yours shaky thighs, pumping in you with fervor. Each trust, amplified by the way he was holding your arse, was pushing you further to the border of the pleasure cliff. In an ultimate moment, driven by the overwhelming presence of you near orgasm and his strong body against and in you, you tried to escape his grip, your mind in a hyperdrive as the feeling you had tried for weeks to shut down invaded your system.
Easily putting you back in place, his mouth possessively kidnapped yours. Sanji burying himself even deeper in your core, his own mind spinning as the strong scent of your arousal made him lose the little control he had left.
“ Come for me Y/N darling “ He whispered on your lips “ If I can hear you scream my name, I at least want to see in your face how good it make you feel riding my dick “
In a last bounce and a cry, you came, your hands spread on his bare chest, your mouth open in a silent scream, trying to mute the word your brain was urging you to say. But,when, in a slower pace to not overstimulating you, he reached his own peak of pleasure, his panting breath caressing the skin of your shoulder as the warm sensation of his cum coat your inside, you couldn’t hold it longer.
“ I love you “ You hiccup, tears sliding down your cheeks as he gently kisses your neck.
For a moment, you both stay silent. His nose buried in the crock of your shoulder, his mouth still pressed against your skin, as you realize the word you just said. It wasn’t the worst way to say it, but since you were the one who had insisted on the casual part, it was kind of mortifying.
“ Did you mean it ?” Sanji whispered in your ear, his hands gently caressing your back. Too afraid that it was empty words you had moan and not the actual feeling you had, when he, at this very moment, could destroy the world or found the One Piece for you.
“ Yes I...I didn’t expect to say it like that, I mean, on a moment like that but...yes I...I was thinking it for a moment now “ You carefully replied, shivering under the cold air against your now sweaty skin.
You felt his wide smile against your throat before actually seeing it.
“ I love you too, “ He finally said, gently kissing your lips. Joy illuminating his face “ You know, I actually think it will become my favorite memory”
“ Mine too” You smile, your heart beating faster, welcoming his mouth against yours.
“ Even if that memory of you your back arch against the bar is kinda hot ” He joked, nibbling your lower lips.
“ your an idiot” You laugh “ I think we need to put our clothes back before we catch a cold.”
“ Your right “
Getting up, putting back your discarded clothes, you silently reach your bedroom, taking all the cautions you can, never letting go of Sanji's hand. After a well deserved hot shower, you both head to bed,his arms passed around you, without any worries in your mind, only the happiness that your two hearts beat in sync.
The inevitable worries would wait for later.

Loose || Part one
Warning: Angst, cussing (?),
Pairing: Loak x fem!reader
yes yall ik its short and very rushed, im tryna get back into the feel of things because i havent written in awhile but i promise the next two will be better
if you ever start to wonder
why all the rain and all the thunder follows her around
you better cut that girl loose.
you wandered around the outskirts of the village lost in thought. throughout these past few months neteyam has been being more distant, ruder almost, but you never understood why he never told you anything anymore and when you'd ask, he'd getting annoyed and brush you off. you tried thinking of ways to help make him feel better but he's responses only made you feel worse than before.
most the time everything's fine.
"neteyam whats wrong?" you asked him softly as his back was turned to you "nothing, cant you just drop it i mean shit if im not telling you its for a reason." he said aggressively to you causing you to tear up and attempt to blink away the tears in a lousy attempt to stop them from pooling down your blue skin.
but as soon as she starts to whine
if you have no patience.
neteyam looked at you and rolled his eyes "why are you crying, you act like a child always crying for no reason." but it was for a reason, sure you could hold your own ground and hunt any animal and scare anyone but as soon as someone raised their voice at you even on accident, someone would turn the faucet in your eyes and they just pooled.
lo'ak watched this all from afar with a ach in his chest. lo'ak has been in love with you for years and even though he knew neteyam wasn't good for you, he could tell you were happy, and he wouldn't want to do anything to ruin your happiness even if it costed him his own. but seeing the way his brother had been treating you made him angry.
you better cut that girl loose.
"why are you treating her like shit, she doesn't deserve it?!" loak practically screamed at his brother one night in their families hut "if your gonna treat her like shit just break it off"
what are you, a coward?
"it's not my fault she's a cry baby and can't take criticism. im doing her a favor loak."
who are you helping?
"if you wanna do her a favor stop treating her like shit and break it the fuck off neteyam."
you got the power.
then do it yourself, king.
"what's me breaking it off gonna do for her then loak??"
and do it for her.
you better cut that girl loose.
"oh i dont know maybe!, stop making her feel like she owes you something, like she NEEDS to give you something," loak sighed in his hands shaking his head at his brother "either you treat her right or another man will."
a few days later they got the news they would be leaving the village to keep the people safe, the news shattered you whole being and in all honesty it shattered neteyam also, sure he was a dick to you the past weeks but what loak said got to him and made him have a reality check so when he told you he was leaving with tears in his eyes you just held him.
set her free
let her be
leave her be.

A thought had occurred to me. What if whatever living things that come in contact with Lucifer, their souls are tainted and they go to Hell. So with Alastor's mom, Nicaise had interaction with Lucifer, after she die, she went to Hell.
I imagined in one scenario both she and kid Alastor in hell, had to fend themselves against sinners, hellborns and exorcists in every extermination day. Nicaise may have to learn few tricks while kid Alastor go monster on who would dare to harm his mother.
Maybe because I want to see interaction of Nicaise and Rosie while Alastor play with the cannibals children.
Another scenario would be when Alastor die, he reunited with his mother but then feel angry at everything because out of all the people he had known, his mother does not deserved this fate.
He would probably be overprotective of Nicaise leading him to be anonymous radio demon instead of broadcasting his victims. Probably will see the hotel as a haven because exorcists can't harm hellborns and Charlie can use that to her advantage.
Well, first of all, that would be very very unfortunate for anyone who served Lucifer drinks on his vacation. Or just bumped into him in the crowds.
But it would also make for a pretty interesting scenario. I doubt there's anyone who could exist in Hell for any length of time without being changed by it. Even Charlie brushes off getting a bit of some guy's brain stuck in her eye. Nicaise knew how to hunt a bit so she at least already knew how to use a gun. It didn't matter to her that Alastor had these bizarre powers, he was her boy and she was going to protect him!
I do think she'd try to go to Lucifer for help, once she learned who he is. The problem would be that he wasn't really accessible to her. It's safe to assume that Lucifer's home is somewhere in the Pride Ring, but there's nothing in the overhead map of the Pentagram that appears to have some link to Lucifer or any of his motifs, aside from the Hazbin Hotel itself.
It could be his home is somewhere outside the ring of mountains that surround the Pentagram. Or maybe it's up on that red... moon? The body floating near Heaven. Lucifer can create portals so it would be accessible to him, I think. Or his home could be hidden down in the sprawl somewhere but regardless of where exactly Lucifer lives, it's not someplace regular sinners would be able to just stroll up to.
So Nicaise and Alastor are pretty much on their own, but at least they have each other to rely on. And that allows them to at least maintain a sliver of their own humanity. As hard as Nicaise tries to protect Alastor, however, Alastor is so much more powerful that it often ends up the other way around. She gets a job playing piano at a bar, insisting that Alastor remain home and safe, but after the first night Nicaise comes home covered in bruises Alastor starts sneaking out to follow her, and when he sees the bar patrons getting handsy with his mother he goes ballistic. He wasn't trying to turn the patrons into chuck beef, exactly. Or, it would be more accurate to say, he didn't realize he could.
Nicaise lost her job, but worse was the look of abject horror on her face at the carnage Alastor had caused.
Nicaise's expression haunted Alastor. Hell, he scared himself. He was still a ten-ish year old kid at this point in mind as well as body, and he didn't know how to reign in his emotions to prevent more explosive outburst like that. He was scared and vulnerable... Ripe for a deal to be made.
Nicaise meets Rosie while out looking for a new job. She made her way into Cannibal Town by accident, and unfortunately encountered some less friendly residents who zeroed in on her as potential prey. Nicaise was able to kill two of them and in doing so attracted Rosie's attention. Rosie came to see what the commotion was and to try to settle things, by which I mean crush whoever was disturbing her peaceful Cannibal Town like an insect. But when Nicaise pointed the gun at her and declared that she didn't care if Rosie was an Overlord, nothing was going to stop her from betting home to her child, Rosie paused. Child sinners are extremely rare, and don't generally last long in Hell. The only child sinners we've seen so far are in Cannibal Town, so I like to think Rosie might have a bit of a soft spot for kids and takes any child sinners she comes across in Hell under her wing. She calls off her cannibals and invites Nicaise to her parlor for tea.
The meeting ends with Nicaise getting a new job and a modicum of protection. Non-cannibals aren't allowed to be residents of Cannibal Town and Nicaise refuses to eat demon flesh (at first) but Rosie sets her up with a new gig at a music venue in Cannibal Town and a guarantee of safety for her and her kid while they're within Rosie's territory (Rosie's playing the long game here; she's fully intending to recruit Nicaise and Alastor into her following). It's all suspicious but Nicaise can at least return to Alastor with the good news that she has a way to put food on the table.
Only when she returns home, Alastor is gone.
Alastor reappears the next morning no worse for the wear to find Nicaise frantic. She checks him over for injuries while he insists he's fine. He won't tell Nicaise where he disappeared to though. It becomes apparent soon after that something about Alastor is different. As the weeks pass, Alastor gains control over his powers extraordinarily quickly. He stops causing random outbursts of green flame or exploding lights. Suddenly he can melt into shadows at will and pop out wherever he pleases. And creepy little dolls appear out of nowhere to do his chores for him or make mischief around the house. As relived as Nicaise is to see him learning to control his abilities, she can't help but be suspicious of this sudden mastery.
Shortly after, Overlords begin to disappear.
#ask#nopeknight39#Hazbin Hotel#the Devil's Bastard AU#Kid Alastor AU#sorry I didn't really address the second scenario#it was getting a bit long#not sure what I'll call this AU#maybe 'Damned Together' or 'Damned by Association'#not sure I like either of those but I'll figure something out#Alastor#Alastor's Mother#Nicaise (Hazbin Hotel OC)#Rosie (Hazbin Hotel)#Rosie's not being 100% altruistic here#she is an Overlord and is invested in increasing her power base by acquiring more souls#and she's intrigued by Nicaise mentioning her child's uncontrollable powers#Nicaise knows Alastor's powers are somewhat unusual for a new sinner but she doesn't realize *how* unusual they really are#and Rosie is interested in acquiring that soul for herself#but the help she offers is genuine#and despite not having met Alastor just yet she *is* invested in keeping this kid safe#somewhere down the line Nicaise does eventually give cannibalism a go#when it becomes so normalized in the environment it's easy to just go 'eh why not'

look I’m not going to argue that Edward truly loved Kristen for who she was genuinely ( he didn’t ) but seeing him as someone who got over her death and it barely affected him is kinda a reading I can’t agree with at all
I know what scene started this reading it was the whole “actually I do enjoy hurting people this is my true self and I greatly thank Kristen for making me reach my potential” but that realization came from when he cut her up, no? When you go back to THAT SCENE he describes how the light vanishing from her eyes was beautiful. This means two things, one, he had to first known he was hurting her, and two he was enjoying that fact
WHEN YOU GO BACK TO THE SCENE WHERE HE KILLED HER THERES NO TRACE OF THIS IN THE ACTING THERE!!!!! He’s not even angry he’s more so desperate to explain himself, he even smiles as he tells her he loves her and would NEVER HURT HER! And when he realized he killed her he sobbed himself to the point of blacking out. Even if you brush off the fact riddler is very poorly written and just make it be ed the fact he blacked out and went out fucking around with her corpse while not remembering any of it and only hours later regained consciousness and now having to search around the gcpd to find her. Genuinely why should I believe a man, who consistently convinces himself he’s actually super smart and has no emotions is telling ME the truth here about his own feelings when I as the viewer have just witnessed things that contradict this!!!!
Also the show contradicts that whole motive like two episodes later!!!!!!!!!! When Oswald tried to kill Ed for saying his mother made him weak Edward discusses Kristen’s death and says love wasn’t meant for men like them and that it will always weaken them. Notice how different of a explaination that is to the one in the woods? The one in the woods basically says it was his true self leaking out and he actually had some awareness of what he was doing and he enjoyed every second of it and he feels no remorse. The one during this scene says that it was unavoidable, an accident, but actually him brushing over his feelings and forcing himself to not think about it or ever attempt to love again is the correct awnser. Doesn’t the second answer flow better with the actual death? It aligns exactly with both his narcissism making him unable to admit he was in the wrong and also unable to let him grieve since it would go against the idea he has of himself in his head and aligns with the fact it was a ACCIDENT WHERE HE DIDNT EVEN INTEND TO HURT HER AT ALL!!!
I can’t blame people for taking the whole actually I enjoyed it reasoning as the true one since Gotham is very very badly written but the reasoning he gave to Oswald works better for his character and for the event itself! The whole point of that death was you can hurt people without even trying to and not be able to see that ur acting like the people who have hurt them before it’s too late and that’s!!!! Powerful but Gotham just had to make Edward secretly evil and sadicist this whole time which takes away from that message. The first time he finally realizes Kristen was a person who existed outside of what he thought of and was capable of thinking and acting outside of his image of her was when she died, and he pushed her back into a fucking box, a fucking role she played to further him in his life because the mere horror of his actions were too hard to bare, he had to convince himself this would always happen and it was either of their flaunts to keep his ego intact.
not to mention how the whole denying he needs love in his life kinda relates heavily back to his npd too. Since he couldn’t get what he wants he feels terrible and then convinces himself that actually WHAT HE WANTED was the inadequate thing instead of him, so he doesn’t have to mourn the fact that he couldn’t have it. It’s projection in a way, he projects his inner wants and desires that he hates to others so he can mock them and feel better. He is telling himself he doesn’t need connection to others, that he can provide for himself and will never need or depend on anyone ever in his life again which is contradicted again and again in the show. He can’t stop needing people to like him, affirm him or to depend on them. That is the ultimate paradox with npd, narcissism in itself locks someone into a state of both being completely independent and not needing or caring for others while completely needing and depending on their praise so you can keep your self esteem intact
i think why I’m kinda quite against this reading of Edward as someone who intensely enjoys hurting others in his nature and is completely logical and almost unemotional in his action is because it kinda just falls into his lie he folds himself and others, it’s believing in the narcissist fantasy he has convinced himself and others around him to be true, he will never be that, no matter how hard he tries he will never be smart enough and unemotional enough for himself, he will chase proving that fantasy until he dies if he keeps doing this, taking anyone who comes in his way down with him
you can read Gotham Ed however you want idc I’m not ur mom and I’m not mad I just really wanted to explain myself since last time I tried to it was horrid and nonsensical I should’ve been executed on the spot. You can read Edward however you like I’m not thought police I just really needed to say my peace here
#gotham#edward nygma#rambles#character study#gotham fox#gotham 2014#do not take this post as a actually Kristen was the one who did something wrong I literally make her cheat on this fucker in my rewrite#I just don’t like people making Edward clearly evil here it’s quite clear in the show he’s kinda intended to have psychosis in a way#hes not mentally stable and logical with his actions is what I’m saying here DO NOT BELIEVE HIS LIES!!!!#this post is also a sneak geek out about npd since I find it really really interesting it’s a personal hell someone puts themselves in#and they often aren’t even aware they suffer and burn in it#I have a lot of appreciation for self aware narcissists who are trying to get better it’s a hard disorder to live with#NURSE HES OUT AGAIN

my love is mine all mine — 0.3 : this side of me
pairing : akutagawa x afab!reader | warnings : none
a/n - this story is HEAVILY based off of horimiya ! if this makes you uncomfortable, please DO NOT read this smau :) also in this smau, reader goes by Y/n Nakajima!
previous | next
chapter below the cut ! | taglist is OPEN !
So we feel the same? I guess that makes the two of us? You placed the glasses of tea onto the table infront of Atsushi and Akutagawa, but Akutagawa started to speak again. "It kinda feels like 'This time is just for me' That's the type of feeling that I get," He said as he smiled.
akutagawa left half of his body fall off the couch, "i'm never going to another sale event....." akutagawa complained.
"yeah but you went and brought 3 cartons! that's incredible actually, i was only expecting you to bring one," You giggled as you watched Akutagawa gather himself and sit on the floor with you and Atsushi.
"oh by the way—" akutagawa paused, "uh w-well— i ran into someone by accident—" he continued, as he looked at you nervously.
"huh?! who did you run into??" You asked desperate for an answer. your hands were on your table, leaning in forward waiting for him to tell you.
"that girl you always hangout with— yosano..? i don't know her name, she has short hair and has a butterfly hairclip in her hair,'" he answered.
"oh,"
"are you sure it was yosano? wait— and you met her looking like that??" you asked as you stared at him begging for an answer.
"Yeah but we didn't talk or anything," Akutagawa explained as he chuckled before patting Atsushi's head and leaned back to fix his button up shirt.
what the hell am i thinking?
"for some reason," you paused letting out a sigh,
" i don't want anyone else but me to see this side of you," you continued feeling that wave of relief as soon as you told him.
"sorry! it's nothing really, it's nothing," you exclaimed as you tried to brush if off as nothing. "forget i said anything"
"i'll make us some barely tea" You said as you got up, feeling his pair of eyes follow you to the kitchen.
"aren't you going to eat oni-chan?"
you opened up the fridge to see if you still had any barley tea left, then pouring into into 3 glasses "uh– nakajima-san"
you turned around to akutagawa calling out your name by surprise, "i— feel the same way. when your dressed like that, when your cooking, when you get all loud and when you're angry as well,"
"actually, even the way you wear your hair at home, and uh— i'm kinda into the whole thing you got going on here at home,"
your face flushed pink, "ALRIGHT THATS ENOUGH OUT OF YOU!" You yelled, throwing the nearest pillow at him.
He caught the pillow and chuckled before he could even continue "I don't know, I feel like I wouldn't want anyone to see you this way as well, or to put it— i don't want to share this side of you with anyone else as well."
So we feel the same? I guess that makes the two of us?
You placed the glasses of tea onto the table infront of Atsushi and Akutagawa, but Akutagawa started to speak again. "It kinda feels like 'This time is just for me' That's the type of feeling that I get," He said as he smiled.
"That's the most stupidest thing I've ever heard!" You joked as you sat back down onto the floor across from Akutagawa.
You grabbed Atsushi notebook and wrote "Akutagawa is dumb!" repeatedly on it."Y'know your dumb! dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb dumb!" You spat as you continued writing the same thing over and over again.
"Once Onee-Chan calls you dumb, she won't stop!"
everyone else has a side that they don't want to show to anyone ever, we may have stumbled to eachothers side by chance but—
He leaned his face on one hand and continued again,"Yeah don't get me wrong but, I'm not saying that I don't like this side of you are at school but I think this side of you is more cute,"
"you know what I'm just gonna let you say whatever you want you dummy"

May I request a mihyo story where Mina and jihyo haven't been able to send time with each other like they've wanted to and when they finally get to have alone time they make desperate love to one another. Use of a strap is optional ^^
another request i probably took too long to answer, sorry about that. made it in the same universe as this
-
mina knows jihyo can't hear when she arrives home after a long time away, because if she could, jihyo would be already on her lap, jumping on her and peppering her face with kisses.
that doesn't happen because jihyo is focused on her game, trying to kill jeongyeon's character with a lot of effort, cursing jeongyeon whenever jeongyeon's health bar is too low and she still manages to heal before jihyo gets to kill her.
it was a game jihyo was testing out, something that shouldn't be making her stressed, but yoo jeongyeon managed to make her face red with anger, whining at the screen because she's incapable of winning.
mina finds it rather adorable, really. she stays right where she is — standing in the doorway, listening to jihyo's complaints about jeongyeon and how she kept whining 'yoo jeongyeon!' whenever jeongyeon escaped before she could kill her again.
as much as mina wants to keep watching, jihyo eventually finds out about her presence. jihyo looks at mina by accident, and when she looks again, mina is smiling at her.
"mina!" jihyo takes the headphones off, her heart racing when she realizes it's really mina, her mina. the one that had been away for weeks, and that now was back right where she belonged. mina's smile fades away when she looks at the monitor in front of jihyo.
"baby, you're going to..." mina tries to advert, but it was fruitless. "die. oh no, i made you lose." mina sighs.
jihyo truly couldn't care less about jeongyeon and that stupid game that made her angry through the entire evening. not when mina was back, and the first thing jihyo does is running to her, making mina trip when she jumps on her lap.
"you're really back!" jihyo's voice get muffled when she tucks her head into mina's shoulder. "i missed you so much!" jihyo says quickly, and mina can barely hear it.
"i know," mina laughs softly, bringing them to the bed. "you said you missed me every single day. made me feel guilty for leaving you." mina pokes jihyo's tummy.
although mina can't see her face, she knows jihyo is pouting. jihyo finally looks at her again, bottom lip curved.
"i had to sleep with timmy because you weren't here to hug me," jihyo starts, using the teddy bear she got from mina as an emotional appeal. mina gave it to her so that jihyo wouldn't feel alone while she was away. "and i was forced to go out with yoo jeongyeon because you weren't here to give me attention..."
"poor baby," mina coos, brushing a streak of jihyo's hair behind her ear. "is there a way i can make up for it?"
jihyo nods, legs wrapping around mina's waist. "give me some love."
just like that, mina's lips find jihyo's. jihyo wraps her arms around mina's neck, moaning into their kiss, letting mina know how bad she missed her. jihyo wasn't like that before she met mina — clingy and utterly needy, to the point where she couldn't spend a couple of weeks without seeing her girlfriend. mina really brought the worst out of her, a need to be around mina at all times.
mina's hands touch jihyo's waist under the hoodie, the cold fingers making jihyo shiver. while she was away, all mina could think about was going back home. at times, mina even thought about flying back home and staying for the short hours she could with jihyo, only so she could feel her smell, taste jihyo in her lips, and get the energy she needed in those days. that, however, wasn't doable. unfortunately, both of them had to wait.
it was worth it, though. the wait made them starving. mina doesn't know when jihyo took her dress off or when her hands with a mind of their own threw jihyo's hoodie away, but soon they were lost in each other. mina relished in every gasp jihyo would let out, every ragged moan, and every whimper following a noun. mina.
it was all jihyo thought about, all jihyo wanted.
"when i was away," mina kisses down the valley of jihyo's bare chest, placing a tender kiss on her tummy. "did you touch yourself thinking of me?"
"y-yeah," jihyo bites her bottom lip, a crimson hue on her cheeks when she remembers it. "but i couldn't finish."
mina looks at her confusedly, fingers toying with jihyo's panties. "care to tell me why?"
"timmy was watching." jihyo says it like a whisper, and mina can't help but laugh, making jihyo laugh along with her. "i'm serious! i tried to make him look another way but i couldn't finish after."
"oh, baby," mina shakes her head, a couple chuckles escaping from her mouth. "i'll make up for that too."
mina lets kisses wherever she goes, going from jihyo's tummy to her thighs, and when her lips touch her covered core, mina looks up at jihyo, pressing a kiss against her covered clit.
"minari." jihyo calls, slightly raising her hips, as if telling mina to take her panties off. that wasn't enough for mina, no. she needed to hear it, always wanting jihyo to voice out her wishes. "minari, please... take it off."
mina hums, satisfied. she grants jihyo's wish, dragging the panties out. she takes a few seconds just looking at jihyo, touching what she wanted to touch, exploring her lover's body until eventually her fingers were making a way between jihyo's soaked thighs.
"beautiful." mina mutters, endeared by jihyo's frame. "mine."
it was something mina would always do. the praises were both giving jihyo more confidence over herself and letting jihyo know what mina truly thought. jihyo is beautiful, mina would make sure she knew that. and most importantly, she's all mina's.
jihyo keens at the praise, letting out a gasp when a finger slips past her entrance, getting swallowed by a familiar warmth, soaked in slick.
"a-another one," jihyo asks, voice shaken, bringing mina closer so there was nothing else mina could do but lay on top of her. "need to feel you. all of you."
"i know." mina whispers softly, feeling jihyo's eager hands holding her waist, hearing every soft pant from up close. jihyo had told her multiple times she'd missed her, but only now mina can really feel it. "i know, hyo."
jihyo never needs much to fall apart. she never asks for too much, all she needs is mina. mina in any way she can have her. in such an intimate position, feeling nothing but mina everywhere, jihyo can't help but near her edge with the slightest stimulation, stuttered breaths and mina's name being all that slipped past her lips, hips jerking as mina sank her fingers deep.
"gonna..." jihyo manages out, mina kissing her lips and preventing her from talking.
mina feels jihyo's grip tighten on her waist, and then her fingers suddenly can't move, jihyo's walls clenching around them and making them stay in place. jihyo moans, the sound muffled by mina's kiss, and mina eases her down from her orgasm slowly, placing small pecks on jihyo's lips when she breaks the kiss apart.
"was that enough, hyo? am i forgiven?" mina questions, leaving another kiss on jihyo's jaw.
"no yet." jihyo mashes her lips together at mina's frown. "wanna touch you too."
"that can be done," mina laughs softly, fixing jihyo's hair carefully. "can i tell you something?" jihyo hums, and mina continues. "timmy is looking at us."
mina points at the shelf where jihyo had placed the teddy bear, and jihyo's eyes widen when she notices that the stuffed animal had been watching them.
"no!" jihyo whines, tucking her head in mina's neck again.

Jak ostatnie dni | Shane x nb!Farmer
Shane wasn't it the best mood right now. It has been raining for three days, which meant that the summer was about to end. That meant he had to get back to working even more than full time. Yoba, he's gonna miss having more time to spend with Jas or sloping around the house. As he was walking by Emily's house, someone ran past him almost pushing him down. He yelped but easily steadied himself.
The person slowed down a bit and turned his head around. "Sorry!" And with that they bolted again towards the staircase by the clinic. Ah yes. The new comer. Marvin, or something. They've been living on the old farm for almost half a year now. They were quite a wierdo, in Shane's opinion.
From what he heard from Marnie, they hadn't been socialising at all with anyone. They only talked to Pierre, Robin and her in matters of buissenes. All other interacctions were shot down with them telling how busy they are.
Looking at it from Shane's perspective, he wouldn't fucking care if they didn't almost crash into him. He frowned and yelled at their back. "Watch out, douchebag!" They didn't even look back at him when they dissapeared behind the building.
Shane shook his head and slowly continued forward. As much as he hated his work, he needed the money. He looked at his feet and kicked the pebbles laying on his way. He was already soaked and battered. Shane couldn't wait for visit in the saloon after his shift. He wondered whether he should get himself beer or beer. Tough question, he said to himself trying to light up a bit.
It wasn't a long time before he was by Pierre's store. Shane stopped by the board and looked at the news. It was 26th day of the month, which truly meant only three days and ofically the autumn would start. He sighed and continued onwards.
Shane barely stepped out behind the store when he heard someone shout out "Look out!" and something crashed at him with full strenght. He automatically shut his eyes and grabbed the mass. They fell to the ground.
Shane grunted in pain and opened his eyes to see who was so careless. The problem was, that all he saw was white. At that moment Shane was almost sure that he was left blind by the accident, untill the whiteness got creased and moved with the huff of the person on top of him. As Shane was about to move, a mixture of a few scents hit him hard enough to left him stunned for a bit. He smelled the younggrass, a bit of the salty ocean breeze and, the most impactful, the scent of the ground after a storm. Those scents mixed with the smell of the rain on the concrete messed with his senses. A few second passed before he noticed that the person rolled off him to the side and that the smell was gone.
"Oh shit, are you alright?" The person was now kneeling over him. Shane looked over them. Of course it was the new farmer who could be running around so carelessly at this time. As he tried to sat up, they grabbed his arm and steadily helped him up. The scent hit him again and he couldn't help himself but look the newcomer up and down. They were quite young, probably still in their twenties. They had tanned skin, longer dark purple hair and big hypnotizing lavender eyes. He could swear that they almost glowed in the gray of the day. They wore a white shirt under brown jacket and jeans.
"Maybe we should go to the clinic? I think the doctor will take us in if I tell him what happened." The farmer was getting worried over the lack of any response from the man. Shane imidiately shook off the wierd feelings and shot up to his legs.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing? Running around, not even looking if there is anyone around you!" Shane scolded the kneeling person. "What if it was Evelyn that you crashed into? She wouldn't be able to just shake it off like me!" He grabbed his head and looked impatiently at the farmer.
They looked at him, their mouth open as if in disbelief that Shane could become so angry. They stood up and brushed off some dirt from their wet pants. They looked sheepishly at Shane and quietly responded.
"I am really sorry. You're usually over the bridge by now and there is no one expect the old lady that would be coming out in a few minutes..." They fiddeled with their fingers anxiously. "But I usually manage to get around here in between of you two walking. It's just that my dog managed to run away and went into the woods in the morning. He didn't get far but made me just enough late to throw me off the rythm... And then you were a bit late to pass the store which I didn't foresee. And I am really sorry about that." They rambled.
Shane shook his head and looked him up and down again, this time putting some disapointement behind it. They were a bit taller than him, but only by a centimeter or so. "Just don't let it happen again, okay?" He felt a bit sorry for the farmer. He couldn't imagine what would happen if he woke up and Charlie endes up missing.
The farmer smiled at him brighly and extended their hand towards him. "For sure." Shane grabbed their hand in an awkward handshake. "I'm Marley, by the way." They introduced themselfves. "Hope we could have met up in a different scenario." They laughed lightly.
"Shane." With that he let go of their hand. They smiled awkwardly at him again. But within a second their face got worried and they were again rushing towards the beach.
"I'm sorry, I have to go now." They called after him. "See you around!" And they were gone.
Shane stood there in shock. But as the nine has struck on the mayor's house clock, Shane was pulled back from his thoughts. He's late to his shift, fuck. He ran to the jojamarkt, cussing at the weather, his boss, and the strangely captivating farmer.
Later that day, Shane dropped a whole package of soup when he realized that Marley smellt like everything he loved about summer. Morris did cut his pay from this incident.

Dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt and stiff dark grey pants, and dark red bow tie, I twiddled my thumbs where I stood in our living room waiting for Chichi. She fussed and fussed over herself in the upstairs bathroom. Occasionally, I heard an annoyed "Oh!" so things didn't seem to be going well for her. I had been ready to go for over an hour.
I braved approaching the half-open bathroom door and knocked. "Uh, honey? You okay in there?"
The door snapped closed in my face before I glimpsed Chichi, half-dressed and a makeup brush in hand, the displaced air whooshing around me. "I'm fine," was her short, somewhat muffled reply.
I grimaced. When Chichi said it like that, she usually was not fine. Quiet sniffles floated out through the closed bathroom door. I frowned. I raised a fist but thought better of knocking again—didn't want to make her angry. Chichi needed to enjoy our evening since it was her birthday—a big birthday at that. She had been a little out of sorts since Goten, our youngest son, moved out to start his own life and needed something to cheer her up. I suggested a picnic because she always liked those. Getting ready to go seemed to upset her even more. I sighed.
With nothing else to do but wait for her, I wandered the living room and paused in front of a wood-framed mirror hung on the wall in the entryway. Had to make sure my clothes were wrinkle-free and my tie was on straight. Otherwise, Chichi would fuss over me and then we'd never make it out the door. My clothes were in order so I leaned against the entryway wall and waited for Chichi. It was a long wait before a door upstairs finally creaked open and Chichi practically floated down the spiral staircase.
Her sleeveless, curve-hugging deep red dress flowed gently around her ankles with every step. A high slit flashed her strong legs and she had even let her hair down for the night. It tumbled around her shoulders in loose curls. I tugged at my too-tight shirt collar as Chichi left the last step and tried to make words come out to tell her how beautiful she was.
Chichi fidgeted with the strap of her black purse slung across her body. "Oh, I just knew I'm too old to dress like this." When her eyes welled up and she turned her back on me, my heart sank. "What was I—?"
When she took a step toward the stairs, I grabbed her hand, gently spun her around, and hugged her against me. I glimpsed wide eyes as I leaned down and kissed her. Our lips connected. She melted into me with a happy little sigh. I let my hands slide down the back of her dress and Chichi pulled back, eyes narrowed and an eyebrow lifted. At least she wasn't upset anymore.
I gave her my best, most innocent smile.
Chichi flicked my bow tie. "If you start that, then we'll really never leave."
I chuckled and grabbed the car keys off the key rack along with the large picnic basket Chichi packed earlier that day. Chichi grabbed our old picnic blanket and led the way to the car. I couldn't take my eyes off her. Her dark-red dress hugged her hips and flowed over her skin as she walked. It was even harder to stay focused on driving with her dress's high slit showing so much smooth skin. It really didn't help when she let her dress slip over her leg, showing even more skin. That was no accident.
"You stay focused on the drive," said Chichi.
I swallowed.
We finally reached the old giant apple tree after a bumpy drive even in our aircar and putting some fresh scratches in the paint squeezing past some trees. Flying would have been smoother and faster but Chichi liked being driven and I wanted to make her happy. I put the car in park a little-ways from the tree and cut the engine.
"We haven't been here in a while with Goten moving out and all," said Chichi, leaned forward in her seat and gazing up at the tree.
I nodded as I leaned over the steering wheel. The big old apple tree was as big as it ever was. "Yeah, no kidding."
A few overripe apples littered the grassy ground around it. More shiny red apples hung from its branches far overhead. The apples that old tree grew were always the sweetest apples around. The hole Gohan blew through the trunk when he was a baby had long since healed over and only a rough, bubbled-out scar remained. I chuckled at the memory.
"That wasn't so funny then," said Chichi despite her smile as she gazed up at the tree, too. She lightly punched my arm. "We're fortunate Gohan took after you."
A warm feeling blossomed across my cheeks.
We unpacked the car and smoothed out the cream-colored picnic blanket on a flat spot in-between the tree's roots poking out through the grassy ground. Chichi lowered herself to her knees and pulled out plates, bowls, silverware, and, finally, the food out of our basket.
My stomach growled. "Can we eat now?"
Chichi shook her head but her eyes lit up with her giggle. "Same old Goku. Just a second." She arranged a few old-fashioned lanterns around the blanket in between serving dishes. "Light those, please."
Chichi made each of us a plate as I lit the lanterns' wicks with a few tiny sparks of ki.
–+–
I rubbed my too-full stomach as Chichi cleared the dishes. "That was great, babe! You really outdid yourself with this one!"
Chichi glanced at me and giggled. "You say that every time."
I laughed and flopped down backwards on the blanket, my fingers laced under my head. Patches of orange, pink, and gold shown through the apple tree's dense branches. Chichi settled next to me, her head on my shoulder. She hummed and snuggled into me. I pressed a little kiss on her forehead. We rested together until the sunset's colors faded into darkness and the stars came out. The full moon rose over Mt Paozu's pillar-like mountains. I yawned.
"Oh, you're not going to sleep yet," said Chichi as she stood up. She bent over me, her hands on her hips. "I need to work this off and you're going to help me."
I blinked, rubbed my eyes, and sat up. "Uh, help you? What do you—?"
I yelped when Chichi grabbed my arm and yanked me to my feet like I weighed nothing to her. I forgot just how strong she was sometimes. Maintaining a grip on my wrist, she marched me off the blanket. I stumbled after her in the fading sunlight, still with no idea what she had planned.
"Stay here," she said as she pointed to my feet.
Chichi continued several paces ahead. When she stopped and flicked her delicate silver sandals off her feet, I had a pretty good idea what she wanted. I kicked my shoes off and tossed them aside with my socks as she settled into a ready stance. The little smirk on her face made my heart hammer in my chest. I got into a stance, too.
Chichi moved first, charged me, the wind pulling her hair wildly along behind her. The fierceness in her eyes made my mouth go dry. I ducked her right hook. Unperturbed, Chichi planted one foot on the ground and threw her weight into a kick. Her bare foot connected with my forearm with a satisfying smack. My forearm actually stung. She was incredible!
I couldn't help my wide grin as we dodged, countered, and defended against each other's hits while Chichi's fierce glare only deepened. Before long, I was laughing. Chichi's already flushed face turned beat red. She growled as she put all her momentum into another strong kick aimed for my gut. I sprang backward a couple paces.
My turn. I charged her. Her eyes widened for a millisecond before she dodged my attempt to take her down. In twisting out of the way and just beyond my grasp, that put her back to me.
"Big mistake, babe," I said.
I lunged for her again but she was ready. Her small but strong hands grabbed my forearm and yanked hard as she bent double. I flew head over heels and landed with an "Umph" on the grass.
I stared up at her as she crossed her arms and smirked down at me.
"Did you really just flip me?" I said through a chuckle. When Chichi closed her eyes and nodded, I took my move. With the help of a little ki, I sprang to my feet, swept her legs out from under her, cushioned her landing, and had her pinned to the grass by her wrists far faster than she could react. "You let your guard down."
Chichi blinked up at me. The light of the full moon shining down caught her eyes and made them sparkle. I brushed some stray hair out of her face. I married one strong, amazing woman.
"So, how did it feel to be flipped by an old lady?" asked Chichi with a mischievous little smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
I lifted an eyebrow. "Old lady? Old ladies can't fight like you just did."
Chichi's eyes lit up with her light laugh. "I guess you're right about that."
"You were incredible, babe!" I said, grinning again at her ferocity.
A little pink spread across Chichi's cheeks as she turned away. I hooked a finger around her chin and turned her face toward me. I couldn't resist that sparkle in her eyes. On instinct, I kissed her, earning a contented little hum. With the night cooling off, we decided to pack up the aftermath of our picnic and went home. Chichi hummed through doing the dishes and putting away the picnic supplies. Her light came back to her. With both of our boys out of the house and no threats looming over the Earth, we had time to focus on each other.

You mentioned before how Maki and Mai’s conflict reminds you a lot of Gamorra and Nebula’s conflict.
Which have me curious on what’s the similarities and the differences between the two pairs are. Since I personally haven’t watched Bleach yet, but I do love the conflict between Mai and Maki in JJK, even if it ended in tragedy.
So yeah. What’s your take on them?
Okay, your question is really confusing. Gamorra and Nebula are from guardians of the Galaxy, not Bleach. Could you possibly be talking about Yoruichi and Soi Fon? In that case yes, Gege pretty obviously took inspiration between the two of them, one choosing to leave for selfish motives and one staying behind in their position in society that they feel trapped in and being angry at Yoruichi for abandoning them.
As for Gamorra and Nebula.
I do like the way their conflict is resolved in the second movie, but to be honest I don't have a lot of knowledge of what their relationship is like in the comics.
If you want me to do a conflict between Maki and Mai and another sister / sister conflict, then they do remind me a lot of Blackfire and Starfire. Both of these conflicts are deconstructions of the good sibling bad sibling, or the cain and abel conflict that gets repeated in fiction a lot to show that good sibling and bad sibling is a false divide, the same way good victim and bad victim is.
Now for a brief lesson in comic book history. Blackfire is first introduced in New Teen Titans #22, with her backstory tied to Starfires' being elaborated on Tales of the New Teen Titans #4.
Blackfire is introduced as a pretty typical, evil, jealous older sister. In the original story Blackfire is born sickly and unable to fly, essentially disabled on her home planet and her birthright to the throne is passed over to Starfire, which results in Blackfire resenting Starfire throughout her childhood. However, there is some interesting subtext... for instance Raven picks up on the fact that Blackfire's parents might have loved her less and Starfire kind of brushes it off like "Nah, she was just born evil."
Blackfire, being denied her brithright still believes that she can fight back and prove herself physically even if she can't fly.
She tries to go to Okaara and prove herself by being more of a physical fighter and more willing to kill, even cheating to get ahead, but gets kicked out of the planet when she tried to strike her sister down AFTER Starfire saved her from dying when she fell off a cliff on accident. Blackfire then returns after being exiled from Tamaran as a conquering invader and then joins with Tamaran's enemy to conquer the planet, then sells Kory into slavery, and then they both get captured and experimented on and then again Kory escapes, AGAIN KORY slaves Blackfire and AGAIN Blackfire is not particularly grateful.
So yeah, Komand'r does a lot of bad stuff, but the New Teen Titans writers at the time seemed to pick up on the subtext present in Blackfire and Starfire's shared backstory that Blackfire was a victim of abuse from their parents, and both parents never really gave Blackfire a chance no matter how hard she tried to prove herself.
I mean you could compare this to two manga characters immediately, both Maki, and Toya. They are both born with physical defects basically disabled, and they are both punished for something they were born with by their ableist parents. My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen tell the story from Toya and Maki's perspectives, whereas Blackfire's backstory is told to us from Starfire's perspective.
Yes, Blackfire does a lot of bad things to Starfire I don't want to downplay that, but it's not Blackfire who created the conflict between Starfire and Blackfire, but rather it was their parents who deliberately set them against each other. Children don't learn hatred from nowhere, it's the adults who create these conflicts and these little kids are just reacting. Blackfire, a lot like Toya, and Maki believes that she can earn back her place on Tamaran, or even her parent's love by showing her strength which is why she becomes more physically violent in the first place. If you look at Toya's extreme mental deterioriation over the course of the todofam flashback chapters then you can see why growing up in this environment would have an extreme effect on Blackfire. And Toya, and Maki endure as best as they can the abuse of their families until they just snap, and lash out in extreme violence, both of them becoming murderers. Toya even attempts to kill Shoto multiple times, the same way that Blackfire does with Starfire.
So it's at least understandable why Blackfire grows up such a violent person, and why she seems to blame Starfire more than her own parents, because in her mind Starfire took her parent's love away from her the same way that she was born to replace Blackfire as the new heir because Blackfire simply wasn't good enough. Blackfire is punished for circumstances completely out of her control before she was even born.
(There’s another fun added layer of compare and contrast if you consider Shoto and Toya, the oldest is born disabled and therefore passed over by their parents and becomes the scapegoat of the family, the youngest is born with a perfect body and becomes the golden child, however, in both cases the parents abuse their golden child too and see them ultimately as tools so neither position is good to be in therefore deconstruction the scapegoat and golden child dynamic. However, the scapegoat is wildly jealous of the godlen child because due to their disability they have been blamed and hated throguhout their lives, and they assume the golden child’s life must be better because at least they have the parent’s attention.)
As the story goes on though Blackfire gets a lot more depth, number one it's Starfire's parents technically who sold Starfire into slavery as a way of brokering a peaceful surrender to their planet. Starfire's parents also constantly treat both of their daughters as political tools and sacrifice them (and never do any of the sacrificing themselves).
Blackfire also gets a bit of backstory that adds more depth to her character in between her first and second appearance. Her backstory goes on to elaborate some pretty major differences between her and Kory, that Blackfire tends to put the mission and the cause above everything even love.
She is temporarily blinded (disabled again) and loses all will to fight because she believes herself weak and helpless, and once again her bloodthirsty nature seems to just be a coping device, a way of making up for her disability on her home planet by continually showing her strength whenever possible. When she loses that willingness to fight, her self confidence completely collapses.
Blackfire even temporarily gives up everything to find love in one person. Showing she is just as capable of falling in love, or desiring comfort as her sister is. Only, to tragically be tricked into killing her lover / lieutentant in order to regain the desire to kill so she will put the cause of conquering tamaran over everything else including love.
"Got to be strong, got to be cold, got to be the killer..." is probably the mantra that Blackfire has been repeating to herself her entire life. At the end of the conflict over Tamaran, Blackfire actually conquers Tamaran and wins, because she's actually the stronger and better ruler than either Starfire or both of her parents. The public actually turns against the king, and in favor of Blackfire because she's actually going to rally to the planet's defense rather than just rolling over and surrendering to their enemies. Blackfire herself also seems to want Starfire to rule with her, rather than just killing her outright or throwing her off the planet.
Komand'r is also the only one who seems to be aware that their parents are abusive, she tries to point out to Starfire that first they sacrificed Blackfire, and as soon as their own lives were threatened Starfire was put on the chopping block too. That's what happens when adults view their children as tools existing for their benefit and not the other way around.
So Blackfire is wildly selfish, she is extremely ruthless and violent, but she also seems to have developed these tendencies in self-defense. Her parents would just rather she have not existed for being born disabled. As for why Blackfire turned against Starfire in particular, and how Starfire contributed to the conflict, it seems like Starfire regularly denied her parents abuse of her sister which only fueled Blackfire's resentment of her. Blackfire's parents tend to go "... Yeah she was just born evil there was nothing we could do..." and Starfire repeats that (and like once again Blackfire gets violent with Starfire a lot when Starfire was just a child and didnt know any better but that's also going to have an effect on Blackfire when you are being abused)
At the end of Blackfire and Starfire's conflict, Blackfire is fully fleshed out not just as a wicked older sister, full of love and hate for the planet that abused her so thoroughly. While she wants to conquer it to prove something, and the abuse she endured caused her to hate the whole planet, she also came to love it as well and turns out to be a better ruler than her father, and things start to improve when she is in charge. "Tamaran needs me as much as I need her." The entire planet denied Blackfire's identity, and yet Blackfire formed her identity in trying to prove she was a worthy ruler of Tamaran.
It also didn't need to be this way. Blackfire turned out to be a good ruler, she always wanted the throne, she was the first borne, Starfire never even wanted the throne in the first place. Just as I said, the conflict betwen Blackfire and Starfire is created by their parents for practically no reason, except for the parent's own ableist belief. If they had just raised Blackfire as the ruler instead of denying her none of the conflict that followed would ever have happened.
The relationship between Starfire and Blackfire is like that too, it's an intense one of both love and hate. Like Maki, Blackfire puts selfishly proving her worth to her family and gaining strength above everything else. Blackfire wants to retain her pride without hating herself because she's been abused her whole life for being seen as disabled by her family (can’t see cursed energy).
Mai on the other hand, just wanted to have her older sister stay with her. She cared more about having a sister, than being strong on her own. Which is why she feels so abandoned by Mai. The same thing for Starfire, she just wanted to have an older sister, she didn’t really care about the throne or family politics to begin with, which is why we see Starfire give Blackfire so many chances and save Blackfire’s life on multiple occasions.
The thing about Blackfire and Starfire is as much as they hate each other, they also love each other. Blackfire is probably the only family member she has a genuine connection with because she never really met her younger brother, and her parents have extremely conditional love and sell her and use her as a tool on multiple occasions. If you dismantle the ideas of good victim and bad vicitm then you are left with two siblings who cope in different ways, who are thrown into conflict not because one of them is evil, but because of the adults around them creating that conflict. In the end Mai loves Maki, just as Starfire loves Blackfire and that love endures all of the conflict that their relationship is fraught with.

the more I create content with my YW I realize how perfectly I made her intertwined with Daseins story by accident like gonna go down the list here:
When she first gets to the spiral she realizes here she has the ability to do good things and in turn she wants to be good she wants to be something/someone who is loved and wanted because she wasn't back home
now she is never taken advantage of like Dasein but this line of thinking breaks for her after the events of arc 2 and going on to arc 3 she believes the "bad person" she was always told she was is who she truly is (she only goes through the events of arc 3 because she has no choice and believes by finishing this it will lead her back to the punishment she deserves which is being sent back home however she doesn't know there is truly no going back there)
after the events of arc 3 she has a total breakdown where she rejects it all and this stems from the fact she saw raven and spider the embodiment of light and shadow were flawed beings too this is turn makes her question what she has been struggling with this entire time and shes so burnt out she can't care anymore along with this she didn't return to her old life the whole idea she was only here because she was good? was that true or is that just how she coped?
which leads us into arc 4 where they meet and Daseins journey just reminds her so much of her own the trying to figure out good and bad and the doing the right thing stuff for her shes just brushed it off to be ill help people when they need help there is no grand reason its just simpler that way
however it really stings when he tells her shes a good person because it takes her back to wizard city when she was new to this world eager to help because she could there was no grand reason behind it however this where people sung her praises maybe she didn't change much after all this time? shes still doing the "right" thing to do Dasein helps her realize this and she can't argue really when he points out the flaws in her logic
By traveling with Dasein though it helps her come to terms with just the fact she wants to help like he does too. there is no grand reason behind it but maybe it isn't so simple either
However what really turns her around is losing him at the end of lemuria. They had grown close and he died before his journey even began and shes angry that it was him, someone so earnest, someone she truly thought was good. It brings up a lot of conflicting feelings but overall she decides her purpose in existence is to continue on for him where he couldn't.
he is her purpose for existing mid arc 4 I must stress this
Novus is a huge relief to her but also now she is ready to go the full mile for Dasein like he was given a 2nd chance AND SHE IS GONNA DO EVERYTHING IN HER POWER TO LET HIM HAVE IT
except its not that simple his dream she tries her best to respect it she tries to mediate and its a very painful lesson as she watches it come apart at the seams and sees Dasein fall into the same feelings she once had
BUT SHES STILL GONNA GO THE FULL MILE she refuses to give up on him she won't let him be alone it was painful for her to handle this stuff alone and if she can make it a little less heavy SHES GONNA
AND THAT SHE DOES and I think at this point they both realize they aren't here for any reason but more so they are here making that reason they are a brick in the world they wish to build after all!
#this is rly rambley but i hope it made sense#i was just thinking abt this bc im working on art based on her arc 3 breakdown#and i got to a line where shes like i have nothing left to give i have nothing#LIKE YEA U DO HAVE NOTHING GIVE IT A COUPLE MONTHS UR GONNA MEET HIM#and thats why i was like oh my god

We need to talk about MomoKendo more Specifically their relationship + first eveythings
First kiss* I think Kendo would be the the one to kiss Momo first, Momo doesnt strike me as the one to women up to the task. Maybe if they were seeing eachother in a small light after the camp incident they start thinking more about eachother Kendo goes to Momo and hesitates apologizing for acting weird not kissing her yet but actually realizing she has a thing for her. After Kamino (the Momo helping with the bakugo escape mission) she doesn't know about it cause the teachers keep it on the down low but she snoops around a little (has someone in class B help her that wont go off the rails but help her figure out what happen help her if she cant find out herself) and finds out while the dorm thing is happening and that's when she goes to scold Momo for being one track minded, she could have gotten hurt! She thought at least Momo would have the common sense but it appears all of class A is an idiot like Monoma says (she says this jokingly angry with momo) which Momo says something like "yes I deserve it cause my actions were less than responsible" and Kendo calls her a idiot in a endearing way grabbing her roughly by her shirt pulling her into a real kiss telling her not to do something like that again holding her face and telling her shes too precious and she couldn't bear something like that happening to her. Momo is in shock and awe still in the close proximity to Kendo eyes wide that she kissed her, she cant tell if shes surprised another girl would kiss her who the fact Kendo cares about her like that Momo's brain is in shut down mode cause NOT JUST A GIRL BUT A REALLY INTELLIGENT REALLY STRONG GIRL TOUCHED HER LIPS WITH HER OWN this moment stays with Momo and she thinks back on it alot she honestly thinks about it more often than ever in her bed or when she gets up to brush her teeth she feels her lip remembering Kendo's words even though they were harsh she didnt honestly remember what she was saying she just remembered the kiss Kendo on the other hand views this as the beginning of them dating and starts doing extra stuff for Momo coming to sit next to her at lunch bringing her gifts or just trying to be what a girlfriend is Mina probably brings it up and Momo's all "were dating?" Momo didnt know shes shocked and surprised when its revealed to her that they were even remotely going out she thought a kid was just a kiss she ddidn't know what it meant Kendo is half laughing at her half disappointed cause that means all the effort she put in wasn't shown without telling she tries to laugh it off like "yeah I thought you knew! I didn't think it needed to be said, what? Should I have kissed you again and properly asked?" Momo is hot mess confused as to why or even how Kendo would want her of all people "What did you think the kiss was for?!" Kendo speaks loudly a little upset half confused at the part momo isn't getting about this "i like you do you want to go out?" She makes it blantly clear for her Momo nods "great! Can I kiss you?" Momo nods again "yes please"
I think that's pretty cute
Lovely, let's get into them!!
JUST TEARED UP A BIT AFTER READING IT ALL CAUSE OMG I LOVE LESBIANS
I think I will just share my thoughts on how I think their relationship would start and then first kiss and stuff
So for me, I can see Kendo having a crush on Momo from afar but not doing anything or even trying to talk to her cause she didn't know she was into girls, I think Momo is demisexual so crushes are a bit hard to explain in her mind, but she does think Kendo is very attractive. They would start talking first after the camp accident, and I think that's when sparks start!! I agree that Kendo would kiss first, especially after she sees that there is interest, I think we can keep your first kiss scenario here because I really loved it so much and it's so perfect for them. Now the aftermath of this is where it gets complicated, cause for Momo she think that there has to be a formal confession and/or will you be my girlfriend? for them to be dating and Kendo thought they were cool and the kiss meant that yes they're into each other so yeah they are dating. I can see this going for weeks and on the first month after the kiss, Kendou wants to celebrate and Momo is like ??? wait what ??? That's where they would have to talk and Kendo finally asks Momo to be her girlfriend, she's confused and upset but overall just satisfied that now her girlfriend is actually her girlfriend!! I think Momo just likes things to be as clear as possible to avoid misunderstandings, and I think that's very sweet of her <3

[ TOUCH ] for sender to trace one of receiver’s scars
@tsuiokuno
it’s too hot, the kind of heat that clings to the skin and makes it feel like every breath is thick and heavy. the sun is still blazing even though it’s late afternoon, turning the metal of the train tracks into something blinding and sharp. maria shifts from one foot to the other on the platform, her sneakers scuffing against the concrete, and she wishes she could will a breeze into existence, just something to break through the suffocating warmth. kusakabe is standing next to her, or maybe just behind her, it’s hard to tell when her brain feels so scrambled from the heat. she’s aware of him in that way she always is, even when her mind spinning like a whirlwind.
"ugh," she mutters, dragging a hand through her hair and lifting it off the nape of her neck, trying to catch the smallest hint of nonexistent breeze. she has never coped very well with the heat. no, scratch that - she’s terrible at it. miserable and dramatic and uncharacteristically vocal about her discomfort. she’s rambling now, half to herself, half to him. something about how they need shaved ice or something equally life-saving, how this kind of weather should be illegal, how people weren’t made to survive in this kind of sauna, and how the only thing that might save them from melting into puddles on the train platform is something cold to drink or maybe a massive, ice-covered bowl of kakigōri. “i'm going to combust.” she says, squinting against the sunlight. her voice comes out rushed, words a little too dramatic. “we have to get something cold to eat or drink, or you’re gonna watch me spontaneously ignite. i swear, this heat is—”
and then she feels it. his hand on her shoulder. his touch is gentle, unassuming, but it sends a jolt through her all the same, like a static shock. the words die in her mouth, her rant cut off mid-sentence, and suddenly the heat in her cheeks feels different, less from the oppressive sun and more from the awareness of him standing so close. “huh?” at first, she thinks maybe it’s a bug. her mind jumps to a dozen tiny, irrational possibilities, some cicada or a spider the size of her palm. “is it a bug?” but something in the way his fingers linger, the way they move, tells her it isn't. his touch isn’t quick, the way it would be if he were brushing off some bug for her. his fingertips are tracing something on her skin.
oh.
it’s the scar.
the one on the back starting at her right shoulder and running downward. the one she keeps hidden because it makes her feel too exposed, too raw. she’d forgotten, or maybe she’d just been too exhausted and annoyed by the heat to care earlier, too desperate for relief to think about all the reasons she usually keeps that part of herself covered. she’d slipped off her light jacket without a second thought, the warmth too unbearable to handle any extra layers, and now her whole body feels like it’s gone still and rigid with embarrassment.
the scar is anything but delicate, an angry, jagged line that cuts harshly across the otherwise smooth skin of her back she tries not to think about it often. about that summer day at the beach, how her curiosity had won over and she'd wandered away from her friends and stupidly walked toward something that looked off, how not long after there was the excruciating pain of claws raking across her back, a shock that made her knees give out followed by the sound of her own screams tearing through the warm, salty air. she remembers the confused panic in her friends’ faces up ahead, and the way she’d had to pretend afterward that it was just an accident, just her clumsiness leading her to trip on the rocks and landing on her back.
now, his fingers are touching that same scar, following its uneven path, and she feels this strange mix of emotions twisting inside her. it’s not like she’s never had someone notice it before, but this feels different. his touch is careful, almost curious, the complete opposite of what left that scar. she can’t help but wonder what he thinks of it. does he think it’s hideous? does he feel some pity or disgust? the thought tightens her throat, and she doesn’t know if she wants to laugh or cry, or if she's starting to feel sick.
she wants to say something, to make a joke about how scars are just battle trophies or something equally dumb, but the words get stuck in her throat.
“it’s, uh, not a big deal” she finally manages, but her voice comes out strangled, and she clears her throat, forcing herself to sound more like her, more casual. she twists around, just enough to catch his eye, and tries for a crooked smile, even though it feels wobbly around the edges. “just a stupid mistake from a long time ago. it's so old i forget it's there.”

The Lonely Houndoom Once there was an Arcanine that had been digging a nest for her pups when she happened upon an egg hidden in brush. She brushed her snout against the shell and felt it was still warm.
Soon she would have a clutch of her own. Even so, she couldn't help but take pity on the poor egg. One more wouldn't make any difference, so she brought the egg to her newly dug nest.
When all the eggs began to hatch, the strange little egg was the first. A tiny skull peeked out from the shell and out came a Houndour. As the rest of his siblings broke out of their shells Houndour noticed he was very different from the rest, he began to get afraid that he wouldn't be accepted because he looked nothing like his siblings, but they loved him all the same. His fur may have been short and his bark may have been strange, but he got along with his siblings beautifully. One of their favorite games was to chase their siblings around and spit little embers at each other. Think of it like a human water gun fight.
Years passed and pups can't stay pups forever. The day Houndour started glowing all his siblings stared at him in awe. Their kind could only evolve with stones, so to see one of them change all on their own was something wonderful. Their happiness was short lived as when the light faded in their siblings place stood a monster. He towered over them, clad in decorations of bone, his breath thick with the foul smell of poison and his bark changed to a horrible sound of death that would send shivers down their spines whenever he spoke.
they were never cruel to him, never mean, but they were always afraid of him.
While he and his siblings slept in a warm pile, they would often move away from him the moment they were sure he was asleep. They never played with him anymore as they felt far too intimidated by the way he towered over them. Although Arcanine would still bring him food he always ate alone. Everyone else wouldn't begin eating until he left and would stop whenever he arrived, they seemed afraid of getting between him and his food.
Houndoom was surrounded by Pokémon, but felt entirely alone, because of how they feared him. He'd even noticed that his mother Arcanine had started to treat him differently. In a last ditch effort for acceptance while he watched his siblings spit embers at one another from afar he tried to join in... only to have the brother he hit yelp in pain. He never understood that his flames were different now, he didn't know. He buried his face into his paws and begged for forgiveness. He didn't know he would hurt him. He didn't mean to. It was an accident. Arcanine had already made up her mind. The mother that raised him told him to run, run and never come back or else she would tear him to shreds.
He wandered the lands feeling lonelier than ever. Pokémon would try to fight him or run away when they crossed his path. He grew mean, coming to expect cruelty from others he felt he had to close himself off from everyone in order to protect himself. Every time he saw his reflection he would scream, seeing what had become of him only made him more angry. He blamed everything that had happened to him on his appearance.
That was until he came upon a familiar howl, he felt. Something welling in his throat and he he howled in response even though no one ever taught him how. It was another Houndoom. When he approached them he found they were like him. Clad in decorations of bone, breath thick with the foul smell of poison and a howl like the sound of death. Yet... none of those things seemed bad to him in that moment. Their grim voice sounded beautiful.
"Why do you howl?" he asked. They grinned at him, a smile that most would see as malice, bust he instinctively knew was friendly.
"I'm not howling, I'm singing." they said matter of factly.
"How can you call that a song?! You've scared off every Pokémon for miles around, they hate it" He grumbled.
The other Houndoom just shook their head "I didn't scare you away did I? You know... just because because it's a song not everyone can enjoy, doesn't mean it isn't music."
They turned around motioning with their arrow-like tail for him to follow. They walked together for a while until they both came upon them. Houndoom. So many Houndoom. All like him, with grim voices and toxic breath, but this time the poisonous aroma reminded him of home.
When they all saw him he was welcomed with a chorus of happy barks and howls. In that moment he cried, he cried every tear he'd been holding in on his journey. For the first time in a very long time he felt that he belonged. He was so happy he couldn't help, but sing just like the other Houndoom had shown him. The whole pack joined in. All the other Pokémon in the valley heard their chorus of deathly wails with disdain, but the Houndoom knew that it was a song of celebration. Celebration that they'd found a new friend. From that day forward he never felt lonely again.
As he spent more time with his pack they taught him that just because some Pokémon find him scary didn't mean that he wasn't worthy of love and belonging. Just because his song wasn't for everyone didn't mean it wasn't worth singing. So he never left his pack's side again and every night he would look to the sky and howl a song of gratitude for the family that he'd found. A song that everyone happily joined in on.
That’s why Houndoom always travel in packs and howl into the night. Each and every one is expressing their happiness at the belonging they've found it one another. Houndoom and Houndour have special barks that only their species can understand... so their song is lost on even I, but I like to imagine their gratitude whenever I hear one howling in the distance.
