253 Facts About Hyaku
(YEAH THATS RIGHT 253 YOU PEOPLE ARE INSANE /AFF) some CW for mentions of death/murder/torture + bugs
Every 50th fact is ☆ highlighted, (50th, 100th, 150th, 200th, 250th), just... for fun.
His name “Hyakuashi” (百足) literally translates directly to “Hundred Legs”
Hyaku named himself.
While he doesn’t have a last name, he’ll sometimes put it down as “Hyaku Ashi” if he needs to.
Hyaku is 6’1” (185 cm), but his heels make him about 6’4” (193 cm)
He’s about 130lbs, which with his height, makes him underweight.
Hyaku doesn’t care about this, he prefers to be on the slimmer side (and isn’t even sure if he can gain or lose weight….)
In a non-spooky style, his eyes would be a deep brown, almost black.
^ In some writing I haven’t posted yet, I described his eyes as - “Deep black, monolid, and unnervingly still; they didn’t reflect light very much. There was something wrong about them, though she couldn't say how. Looking into them felt like standing in the center of a dark room and knowing, without question, that something in the dark was watching. Not one thing, but many.”
I often draw him with a lot of piercings in his face when drawing in my style, usually a septum most notably, but also a bridge and eyebrow piercing.
His Meta creation date is December 21, 2024
He doesn’t have an in-universe birthday, not only because his creation is vague, but because he never bothered to pick out a fake birthday.
^ If ever asked, he’d just give a date that’s very soon to get free stuff.
Hyaku currently holds the highest killcount of all my OCs, with Mars a far second.
Hyaku is Japanese!
He specifically comes from Osaka, Japan
Hyaku is a yokai; He is the human form of The Omukade, or the Giant Centipede.
Hyaku can return to the form of the Omukade, however, doing so would permanently destroy his human form.
If asked, Hyaku wouldn’t be able to answer if he prefers to be human, or his original form.
Hyaku feeds on negative emotions, he purposefully causes harm in order to feed and entertain himself.
His actions range from just shouldering people, to ensuring someone witnesses the death of a loved one.
Hyaku can sometimes tell if someone is also not human.
It’s not a perfect radar, but if he notices he doesn’t feel as full of misery as he should, he might be able to suss out that the person isn’t completely human.
If Hyaku ever met someone COMPLETELY unbothered by his behavior, he’d continue to bother them worse and worse until they finally snapped
^ or until HE finally snaps, and kills them. Or, if they can’t be killed for any reason, he’d avoid them completely and become annoyed by their presence.
The worst way I think someone can perceive Hyaku is like a hungry animal that’s just trying to survive, because this isn’t true. Without the need to consume negative emotions, Hyaku would STILL act like this. He’s simply cruel.
Hyaku views humans as juice boxes; he holds no respect for them.
He will never respect a human, no matter how intelligent, strong, or ruthless they are. At best, he may find one amusing for a time, like a particularly clever pet.
Hyaku LOVES anything apple flavored, especially apple juice.
He also enjoys anything apple themed (apple plushie, cup, clothing, etc etc)
His favorite season is Fall
His favorite color is any warm color (Red, orange, yellow)
Hyaku bites ice cream
On the note of ice cream, Hyaku doesn’t like anything too sugary.
He speaks both Japanese and English, with Japanese being his first language
Hyaku regularly slips into Japanese when speaking, usually to insult people around him that don’t know what he’s saying.
Hyaku put off learning English for a LONG time, and put off learning to read + write English for even longer.
^ to this day, his reading and writing is amateur.
Hyaku has a very durable exterior. Traditional weapons (blades, guns, blunt objects, etc) do little damage to him, if at all.
Human saliva melts this armor, leaving Hyaku vulnerable to traditional attacks.
When saliva melts his armor, it leaves Hyaku’s skin sizzling and numb. Even if not followed by an attack, just coming in contact with spit would be decently upsetting to Hyaku.
Logically speaking the most effective way to attack Hyaku is to bite him, (if you were human)
Poison would also be ineffective to Hyaku, as… he is venomous himself.
Hyaku’s venom isn’t fatal. If bitten and injected, it would cause intense pain and swelling, leaving someone weakened rather than dead.
If someone lived after being bitten, the bite would cause an intense fever after a few hours
After the fever pasts, the wound will become very itchy and irritated, baiting the victim to irritate it further and make it worse
All in all, it takes a few days for a Hyaku bite to fully heal
His venom tastes like apple-flavored bleach
Hyaku will fidget often with his ahoges/antenna, either twirling them from boredom or pulling on them with anger.
On the alignment chart, Hyaku would be Chaotic Evil.
☆ His deadly sin would be Lust or Gluttony.
His tarot card would be The Tower
His flower is a Red Spider Lily
His animal symbolism would be a centipede, duh
^ but he favorite bug is actually a cicada
Hyaku has an intact hunter mindset
He’s incredibly good at reading body language when chasing someone, able to predict where they’re going to turn next with really good accuracy
He’s able to corner people with ease.
Hyaku has a scar under his right eye, only visible when his glasses are removed
This scar is from when Hyaku was first taken down as The Omukade, suffering an arrow to the face.
Hyaku took his human form as a way to hide and heal, sleeping in Mount Mikami for 100 years.
He healed fast, but chose to stay asleep for longer, waiting for the people that remembered and feared The Omukade to die off.
His first words as a human were a lie.
They were “I don’t know where I am,” spoken in Japanese.
Hyaku’s voice claim is Leon Kuwata from Danganronpa,
^ I’ve never been fully satisfied with his voice claim, but I haven’t found anything that fits better.
His actual voice would be Leon Kuwata’s pitch, but with Miu Irumas tone, vocabulary and inflections. Basically if Leon said Miu’s lines.
^ He often overuses curses and swears, and is rather vulgar.
He’s incredibly vulgar with his words, not afraid to bring up people’s bodies or looks causally
A lot of characters in spooky month represent horror tropes, Hyaku is the representation of “Gore Porn” movies. (Think Tusk, Saw, Hostel, etc)
^ His entire being is a pun on this. He’s a HUMAN. CENTIPEDE.
Hyaku can also represent the “Monster Disguised as a Man” trope, similar to The Thing, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, It Follows, etc
Bonus, he can also follow the “cannibalism as a metaphor for love” trope, sort of. Technically not “cannibalism” since Hyaku isn’t human, and I wouldn’t describe what he feels as “love”
Despite his inspiration being torture porn movies, Hyaku would be disapointed in The Human Centipede movie.
Hyaku can sometimes fall and run on all fours if in a crisis, but he never does this on purpose
Hyaku is not used to being injured.
If ever seriously injured (Cough, Bob Velseb), Hyaku would falter in his confidence and panic a lot.
Hyaku’s gender identity and attraction are VERY complicated, I can’t really fit them both into perfect labels. The best way I can explain it is.. Like if a thing that wasn’t MEANT to feel attraction, was suddenly squished into the shape of a human. His human form craves intimacy but he, himself, as the Omukade, doesn’t want it.
THAT BEING SAID, Hyaku feels connected to masc terms.
He uses he/him, but would also respond to they/them or it/its.
I personally just use he/him with him, as I more associate it/its and they/them with his Omukade form, but feel free to use any of them!
Hyaku would also fall under aromatic and pansexual.
He feels his own version of attraction towards people and things, which I won’t get into, and that attraction has no preference of gender
BONUS, Hyaku would also be objectum (thats why I said “people and things”).
I originally made Hyaku to be an demon x priest ship with Father Gregor, but that got pushed aside in favor of him being a yokai
^ that being said, i think Hyaku would still be attracted to Father Gregor
^ i have a joke about this but it’s a bit.. Risque. So I’m choosing to hold onto it until the future. Just know that it exists. LMAO.
Physically, Hyaku can pass as about 21-28.
He usually defaults to saying he’s 26
Hyaku is actually about 1400 years old, give or take
On Toyhouse, I have his age listed as “Older than tea in Japan”
^ This is true! Since tea came to Japan at about 700 CE, and Hyaku’s age places him at being “born” in about 625 CE
Born in quotations, as.. The Omukade’s birth isn’t known at all.
Hyaku isn’t willing to share where he came from, either.
Possibly because he simply doesn’t remember, but isn’t willing to admit he forgot.
Hyaku has been around for a LLLLOOONG time. (his story on Toyhouse is currently outdated!)
He’s been awake and posing as a human since about 780 CE
In the Heian period (around 1100), Hyaku posed as a wandering onmyōji, using spiritual exorcisms as a front to feed on grieving families.
He immigrated to America in about 1700
^ to get here, he lied saying he was coming for work
☆ ^ He brought an invasive bug species with him which still plagues part of the South
Hyaku adopted the leather jacket style in 1950, and didn’t give it up even when it fell out of style
Yes, in 1950 Hyaku was a greaser.
In 1970, Hyaku was a member of a band called “PLAY OR DIE”.
This is when he learned how to play the electric guitar, which he still does today!
When the leader of this band accidentally discovered Hyaku’s true nature, Hyaku killed them in a staged house fire and moved on.
The other two members of the band were left alive, believing that Hyaku had died in the fire, too.
He’s been all around America, but came to Spooky Town just about eleven years ago.
When he first arrived, he caused a car crash to test Spooky Town’s police response time.
He originally planned to pass through Spooky Town, as the low population didn’t interest him.
However, the cult caused the emotional aura of Spooky Town to be completely rancid, enticing Hyaku to stay.
Hyaku briefly dated Shotgun Man, but Shotgun actually broke up with Hyaku before he could do any damage.
^ Hyaku is… still appalled by this. And Shotgun doesn’t know how big of a bullet they dodged.
Hyaku’s original inspiration, waaaaay back when, was Trevor from The Good Place. I was captivated by that asshole.
^ In fact, one of Hyaku’s first lines I ever drew him saying was, “You should smile more”, which is also one of Trevor’s first and recurring lines.
One of Hyaku’s later inspirations was LuLu (Luluyam)
Another recent inspiration is Erik Campbell from the new Final Destination movie, and is the reason Hyaku currently works at a tattoo parlor
Hyaku smokes and drinks.
He drinks because he interprets it as a luxury
His drink of choice is often red wine… straight from the bottle. He doesn’t bother with formalities like… glasses.
He began smoking as sort of a dick move, wanting to smoke then quit just to show how incapable humans are
..This backfired, as he’s addicted to nicotine now. Though, he’d never admit it.
If you ever look closely, you can see he wears nicotine patches occasionally, usually hiding them under his leather jacket collar.
Hyaku is insecure of his hips and hipbones, but he’ll never admit this.
Hyaku has awful eyesight, and his sunglasses actually double as prescriptions. Once again, he’ll never admit this.
His bad eyesight is one of the reasons he put off learning to read English for a long time
Hyaku’s eyes are also sensitive to light. He can get used to light over time, however harsh, sudden lights, like a flashbang would disorient him greatly.
Hyaku is very embarrassed of his bad eyesight, if it ever became obvious (ex, he runs into a door or mistakes something or something else), he would become very red heheh
While his eyesight is terrible, his hearing is impeccable.
His antenna can also pick up on subtle vibrations and movements, allowing him to “see” more clearly
Hyaku works at a tattoo and piercing parlor
It’s called “Pins and Needles”
Some people joke that Hyaku would purposefully give people bad tattoos, but he actually loves his job and doesn’t want to lose it!
He loves his job because the clients there are constantly in WILLING pain, it’s great
Even though he does his best at his job and gives people whatever they’re asking, Hyaku might purposefully cause a bit more pain than needed. He often pushes the tattoo gun harder than needed, or hesitates a few seconds before piercing someone.
I’ve thought about his co-workers at Pins and Needles a few times, but I’m yet to give them any designs
I like to think that Hyaku gave Aaron his snake tattoo.
Hyaku has no living relatives, but I’ve contemplated designing his “mom” just for fun.
Hyaku is also not above lying about having living relatives for any reason
Hyaku can summon multiple arms from his back!
When they are summoned, I’ve imagined them sort of… folding out from his skin, like an unfolding chair. His hands would be the last thing to unfold from his back, if that makes sense. I might have to make a visual reference for this one.
He can summon 4 extra (6 total) before shit gets weird
By “shit gets weird” I mean his torso will elongate to make room
Whenever Hyaku is in a situation where he needs more strength, he won’t stop at just 6 or 8 arms. Once the dam has broken, Hyaku will take a form I’ve named “The Amalgamation.”
The Amalgamation is basically the result of Hyaku summoning a BUNCH of arms, causing him to move on his arms now, like a centipede.
I’ve compared this form to both “the end result of the human centipede”, as well as “if Tusk was about a centipede instead of a walrus.”
You may be wondering… well what does the end of The Amalgamation look like? And I don’t have an answer.
I think that’s kind of poetic, not even I, the artist, knows what the end of it looks like
Hyaku can make bug noises! He often hisses, chitters, or buzzes.
^ This is because, while his arms are completely intangible when not in use, his mandibles are folded inside his mouth, behind his teeth. So they can rub together and make noises at will
☆ Sometimes Hyaku’s mandibles are unfolded out of his mouth by accident, usually through anger.
While he doesn’t bother with an actual routine, Hyaku does take time in the morning to style his hair
When wet or unstyled, his hair would reach his shoulders.
Hyaku’s design holds a lot of secret symbolism! He’s supposed to heavily resemble a chinese red-headed centipede, even down to the order of his colors
His orange ahoges are supposed to be the orange antenna
His sunglasses are not only supposed to look like big bug eyes,
But are also the red of the red-headed centipede!
His yellow accents (the inside of his jacket, gloves, and boots), are the legs of the centipede
All the grey + black on his clothes is the rest of the body
Bonus, his side burns are supposed to resemble mandibles.
Hyaku’s design is very top-heavy, especially around his torso. His shoulders are broad, but his waist and hips are narrow.
His legs are also very long, made longer visually by his heels.
Hyaku’s favorite food is meat, he’s incredibly carnivorous.
His favorite kind of meat is, of course, human.
He also consumes bugs such as flies, cockroaches, spiders, crickets, and even other centipedes.
He doesn't mind maggots either; finding them in his meat is like a bonus to him.
Though he enjoys it raw, he's very talented when it comes to cooking and preparing meat
During a noise complaint inspection by the police, Hyaku once tricked Jack into eating human flesh he'd cooked
Hyaku’s spice tolerance is VERY HIGH, he often gets food as spicy as he can
Despite being very physically able (High strength + energy + endurance), Hyaku would rather relax than do something physically exerting.
^ Another reason he enjoys doing his job, because he gets to sit constantly!
Hyaku is incredibly flexible as well!
He’s very agile and has a lot of control over his body. He does flips and cartwheels and wooooooh
Hyaku has been in a couple romantic relationships throughout his life, though none of them meant anything to him. A mix of girls and guys.
He’s even been married a few times!
His first relationship as a human was with a girl
^ Her name was Chiyo.
^ Chiyo was alive in 780 CE, so she has long passed. However, she did NOT die at the hands of Hyaku.
Hyaku considers Chiyo “The one that got away”.
Hyaku doesn’t sleep often. Mostly because he doesn’t care
This has resulted in his heavy eyebags, though he doesn’t care about them
^ he sometimes even highlights them with eyeliner
Hyaku would rather sleep at a time he should be awake (ex, work, when someone is talking to him), then during the night.
On the rare occasion he is deeply asleep, Hyaku is a LOUD snorer.
Hyaku is not above attacking children, but he doesn’t purposefully target kids for his cruelty. If he were to attack a child, it’s most likely to hurt someone else.
Hyaku has social media! He mostly posts his tattoo artwork, pictures of his food, OOTDs, dancing, etc. He’s not afraid to put himself online.
^ he would also ragebait a lot LMAO
His phone would be as modern as it can be, with a bug charm hanging from it
Hyaku has Thanatophobia, or a fear of death. Hyaku cannot comprehend no longer existing, and the unknown of the afterlife scares him.
Hyaku also has a small fear of projectiles, or things being thrown at him. You might see a small micro flinch if you raise your arm like you’re going to throw something.
Hyaku usually fights with his hands/claws, or mandibles, but if given the choice of a weapon he’d pick a knife, or something bladed.
He smells like gasoline, old blood, and citrus
Hyaku is not a morning person at all, he takes a good 30 minutes to get out of bed.
He will always arrive late to things
Hyaku would dress up as a centipede for Halloween, and when asked would say he’s a “Human Centipede”
That being said, Hyaku is not fond of holidays like Christmas, as he finds himself hungry of misery. He’s not a fan of the holly jolly >:(
While Hyaku’s current job is as a tattoo artist, he’s had several jobs throughout the years
Between these jobs, he’d make money through conning people or simply thieving.
His favorite job so far has been his current one, though
Hyaku can and will fake vulnerability. Whether in a new place where the people there don’t know him and will take pity on him, or with someone that would simply believe the lie.
☆ He’d fake vulnerability for multiple reasons, either to get something he wants or simply gain trust.
He sometimes will fake being downed. For example, if shot, he’ll lay on the ground and play dead even though the bullet didn’t actually pierce him. This is just for fun.
Hyaku is genuinely upset that he missed being a part of the black plague, but he did feel it happening, even all the way in Japan. Not enough to sustain or feed him, but enough to just know something was happening.
Hyaku is a really ugly crier, though he doesn’t cry often.
Hyaku doesn’t respect others' personal space, but will shove people away if they invade his.
^ or if they’re just.. In his way. He shoves people a lot
Hyaku witnessed when Bob attacked Streber, but chose to watch from across the street rather than help
I have a pinterest board for Hyaku!
I have a Spotify Playlist for Hyaku! He’s characterized mostly by unapologetically lustful and loud songs.
If I had to pick just ONE song for Hyaku, I’d no doubt go with Centipede Legs by LuLuYam.
LuLuYam’s upcoming song, Amalgamation, also has some chance of being a new Hyaku theme. Oooo….
Hyaku’s actual music taste would be a blend of rock and breakcore. Everything in between that. He has no patience for slow songs…
Despite spending a lot of his existence in baggy clothing, Hyaku prefers skin-tight clothes as of the modern year.
Even a winter outfit (which I’ll… design one day..) wouldn’t be very baggy.
The only baggy clothes he wears are his bedtime clothes, (Which I’ve drawn Here and Here!)
^ The Japanese on his bedtime clothes translates to “bug boy”
I’ve accidentally trans-coded Hyaku a few times lmao
Most notably when I joked that Hyaku would lay eggs, then later learned that only female centipedes lay eggs
Hyaku’s name went through a lot of different versions. His name could’ve been: Mukade (ムカデ); a literal direct translation of ‘centipede’, Kijiniku (生人肉); which translates to “raw human flesh”, or “demon flesh” in some contexts, and Uji (蛆); which is just directly translated to Maggot
Hyaku’s design actually went through a lot of development. In REALLY early concepts he was PINK.
He also had squared glasses in his first sketches, which also featured itsnotmourn’s Winnie. Hi winnie !
He also originally had just one colored streak in his hair, back when it was just… hair. Now it’s his antenna so double it and give it to the next person.
I also briefly considered giving Hyaku a braid in early concepts, like a thin braid that resembled a centipede. I think the idea is cool, but I’m glad I didn’t go with it, it would’ve gotten lost in his design and it gives off more “wise” vibes than Hyaku deserves.
The first time I ever depicted Hyaku with his canon skintone was in Ponytown. Lmao.
Realistically, Hyaku would have stretchmarks on his midsection.
I always draw Hyaku’s extra arms just forming outside of his clothes, that’s not logical at all I just thought it was the easiest way to draw it. More logically I think his extra arms would slide under his shirt then pop out, leaving Hyaku in kind of a scrunched up, DIY crop top
I also never draw his extra arms with clothing, not only because it made sense to me, but because it helped me remember which arms were the “original” lmao
While Hyaku does ruin or destroy most relationships, he DOES enjoy having friends that are cruel like him. These bonds are rare.
Though rare, his love language is quality time.
Hyaku doesn’t currently own any pets, but if he did he’d want something like a snake or a spider.
I’ve always imagined Hyaku’s mode of transport (currently) being a motorcycle, which he is no doubt a show-off on.
Dogs and cats do not like Hyaku. Dogs will bark at him and cats will hiss at him.
Hyaku lives in a home large enough to fit a family. He lives there by himself.
How he obtained this house is unclear.
It would be hinted that Hyaku murdered the previous owner(s) and took the house for himself.
Hyaku does not keep this house very clean, but it’s not horrible. Just enough to be trashy.
If Hyaku had a canonical episode, it would be called “Centipede Legs”
If I had any musical talent, I’d make Hyaku his own soundtrack for the episode
…I’ve also come up with a few names of tracks on said soundtrack.
His theme would contain subtle electric guitar, ofc.
His “....” theme would include quick staccato strings, like a centipede scuttling.
Most of the Spooky Month villains die at the end of their episodes. If Hyaku were to die, it would be by an arrow to the head.
Hyaku is not associated with the Spooky Month cult, but he is aware of them, and they’re aware of him.
Hyaku sees the cult as a parade of human delusion
He doesn’t believe in The Eyes
Cultist characters can tell there’s something inhuman about Hyaku
The cult has no reason to target Hyaku, and Hyaku is knows better than to purposefully bother them, they have a loose trust with each other
Hyaku's home also has a basement, where he hides most of his debauchery.
His basement often holds human captives, which Hyaku keeps to stay constantly fed at home. Theyoften die of starvation or blood loss.
His basement also holds freezers of human flesh.
☆ Inspired by the Kelly Affair music video, Hyaku’s basement would also hold kennels
The basement is padlocked from the outside, with a rug over it when not in use.
Hyaku’s basement is always a piece of lore I’m nervous to talk about, as I think it’s “too edgy” sometimes, but I feel as though it was important to establish how cruel Hyaku is.
To him, hosting people in his basement is similar to pickling your own cucumbers or growing your own food.
for every note on this post... i will give one (1) Hyaku fact.
yes i am Fully copying what Mourn did awhile back, I REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT RANDOM STUFF <3 i didnt have enough Hyaku brainrot then but i do now

you're safe here. - lando norris.
requested! hope you like it, like i did! - requested are open.
--- It starts with something small.
You’re curled up on Lando’s couch, one leg draped over his lap, your cheek pressed against his shoulder. A movie plays in the background—something warm, nostalgic, easy to follow. You’re not really paying attention, not when his thumb keeps drawing lazy circles into the back of your hand, not when his other arm is holding you like you’re made of something worth protecting.
On screen, a kid walks into a room full of balloons and hugs, a surprise birthday party waiting just for them. Their mom’s crying, the dad is beaming, and the whole thing is so full of love it makes your chest ache a little.
You laugh—soft, but not because it’s funny. More like a reflex.
“Surprise parties are weird,” you say, casual. “My mom used to forget my birthday half the time. One year she just said, ‘You’re getting older, you don’t need a cake.’”
You don’t even realize what you said until you feel Lando freeze beneath you.
It’s so subtle, anyone else would’ve missed it. But not you. You’re always scanning for shifts, changes in energy, things going suddenly cold.
“Wait—what?” he says after a beat, voice soft. Not judging. Just confused. Just Lando.
You shrug like it’s nothing. Because to you, it is.
“It’s fine. Just how it was.”
But he’s still looking at you, eyes soft and stunned. Like it’s physically painful for him to imagine someone not being celebrated, especially someone he loves.
You can feel it—his confusion, the way he’s trying to wrap his brain around the idea that someone could grow up like that. With birthdays forgotten and hugs withheld and love handed out like a transaction.
And you? You’ve already built the walls. You’ve spent years pretending it doesn’t matter. You learned to light your own candles. You learned not to expect softness from anyone.
But Lando—he doesn’t let it slide. Not in the heavy, dramatic way. Just the opposite.
He leans in and presses a kiss to your temple. Not rushed. Not fleeting. Like he wants you to remember the exact pressure of it. Like he’s saying I’m sorry, I’m here, I’ve got you—all without needing words.
“That’s not fine,” he murmurs against your skin. “You deserved a cake. You deserved the whole party.”
You laugh again, watery this time. “You gonna throw me one now?”
“Absolutely,” he says without missing a beat. “With balloons. And a stupid hat. And everyone has to sing.”
You roll your eyes, but your heart pulls in your chest in a way that’s unfamiliar. Soft. Unsafe. Safe.
Because here’s the thing: you’re used to doing everything on your own. You don’t like asking for help. You don’t like feeling like a burden. You were taught, early and often, that vulnerability is a luxury, not a right.
But Lando—he never makes you feel small for it. He doesn’t try to fix you, just... holds space. Gentle. Steady. Patient.
Sometimes you’ll drop a story without thinking—something offhanded about your childhood, a little crack in your armor—and his reaction is always the same. Not pity. Just quiet disbelief, followed by twice as much love.
And the more time you spend with him, the more you start to believe maybe you don’t have to carry it all alone.
Some nights, when the world feels heavy, you’ll wake up to find him already watching you. He’ll rub your back until the tightness in your chest loosens. He’ll hold you like he’s grounding you to the earth. He won’t ask questions you don’t want to answer.
“You don’t have to be strong all the time, you know,” he tells you one night, voice thick with sleep.
You want to believe him. You’re starting to.
Because with him, you’re not just surviving anymore. You’re living. You’re learning how to be—messy, stubborn, independent, complicated—you. And he doesn’t flinch. He just loves you harder.
And one day, when he walks into your apartment holding a stupid balloon and a single slice of cake—just because—it kind of breaks you.
“You said you never got one,” he says with a soft smile. “So... here.”
You kiss him like he’s air. Like he’s the first good thing to ever happen to you.
And maybe he is.

ROBOUTE NSFW ALPHABET.
Tags: @incrediblethirst @beckyninja
A = Aftercare
Meticulous and devoted. He makes sure you’re hydrated, gently cleaned, and wrapped in fine linens. Roboute believes post-coital care reflects moral character. He might struggle to be verbally affectionate, but his actions are unmistakably protective, tucking your hair back, whispering in High Gothic, holding you like you might vanish.
B = Body part
He reveres your back, especially the spine, shoulder blades, and the small of it. He kisses down it reverently, like following a map to the divine.
C = Cum
Controlled but potent. Roboute holds back until he knows you’re satisfied—then releases with a deep, guttural growl. He prefers to cum inside, as it feels symbolic, binding, almost sacred. Clean, warm, and surprisingly abundant, he always wipes you gently after.
D = Dirty secret
He fantasizes about being debased, not humiliated, but undone. Roboute secretly craves losing control, being begged for, worshiped, or even used. He imagines you straddling him, riding his cock while he lies still, letting go of the iron discipline that defines him.
E = Experience
He’s studied everything in theory, but very few have seen the practical side. He’s a perfectionist lover, attentive, hungry to please, willing to learn exactly how you moan when touched just right. Once he starts, he’s shockingly good.
F = Favorite position
Seated in a throne or chair, with you in his lap, riding him slowly while he grips your hips and looks up at you like you're divinity. He also favors missionary, for the closeness, eye contact, and ability to control the rhythm.
G = Goofy
Rarely. Roboute is serious during sex, bordering on reverent. If he ever does smile or tease, it’s low and sensual, “Is that the sound you make for me?”, but most of the time, he treats you like a sacred relic he’s been entrusted to protect and adore.
H = Hair
Immaculately groomed. Pubic hair is trimmed and tidy, just like everything else about him. The man uses oils, exfoliates, and probably has razors from Macragge.
I = Intimacy
Unflinchingly intense and focused. He touches you with the same concentration he gives to battle plans or diplomacy. It may take him time to express emotions verbally, but he shows love through every inch of his body, his lips on your wrist, his hands stroking your thigh, the way he breathes your name like a vow.
J = Jack off
Yes, but he’s ashamed of it. Roboute treats masturbation like a tactical failure, “I should have more control.” He does it silently, shamefully, sometimes even picturing you scolding him while he strokes himself. Post-nut clarity hits him like a thunderbolt.
K = Kink
Praise kink. Needs to be told he’s doing well. Desperate for reassurance.
Light Bondage. Silk restraints, pinned wrists, or being held in place.
Uniform kink. Wants to fuck you in (or out of) your robes, armor, diplomatic silks.
L = Location
His private war room, all marble, candles, sacred texts, and battle maps. It feels forbidden, secretive, like you're interrupting divine order. He also enjoys his personal quarters, especially against a wide window overlooking Macragge’s starscape.
M = Motivation
Emotional trust. Once he believes he’s earned your love, his desire awakens like a dam breaking. The sight of you kneeling in front of him shatters him. Also? Vocal praise. Moan his name and he’s gone.
N = No
He draws a line at degradation or humiliation. Roboute won't call you names, slap, spit, or demean, he sees you as a holy companion. He also refuses anything that feels lawless or chaotic, he needs control, meaning, and mutual care.
O = Oral
Receiving. At first, he struggles. Feels guilty, overwhelmed. But once he sees how much you enjoy it? He surrenders, his head thrown back, thighs trembling, murmuring praises like a dying saint.
P = Pace
Disciplined, intense, and thorough. He starts slow, savoring every thrust like a penned line in a sacred book. But once he’s lost in you, Roboute can become ruthless, gripping, driving deep, growling orders like battle-cries.
Q = Quickie
Rare, but not impossible. If he’s pressed for time, he might take you against a desk, armor half-off, one hand over your mouth to muffle you. He’ll be flustered afterward but satisfied. You, less so— he’ll make it up to you in triplicate later.
R = Risk
Minimal at first, he’s conservative and careful. But over time, he warms up to experimental ideas. He’s less interested in physical danger and more intrigued by emotional vulnerability.
S = Stamina
He’s a Primarch, so… legendary. Can go multiple rounds, stay hard for hours, and only grows more intense the longer it goes. He refuses to stop until you're completely wrung out, glowing, satisfied, and borderline speechless.
T = Toys
He has a private collection, polished, immaculate, and locked behind encrypted vaults. Gilded restraints, vibrating rods, bejeweled plugs, and an Ultramarine-blue dildo custom-made to match his own size, for when he’s away.
U = Unfair
Very restrained, but when he does tease, it’s surgical. Long, slow touches. Eye contact. Letting you grind on his thigh without penetration. Then telling you in perfect High Gothic: “Patience, my love.”
V = Volume
Low, guttural groans. Rarely loud, but intense. He mutters your name like he’s writing it into history, and shudders with breathy growls when he finishes. If you hear him swear in Battle-Cant, you’ve destroyed him.
W = Wild card
He writes erotica in his journals. Detailed, flowery, tactically annotated descriptions of your body, of your nights together, of what he’d do if the Imperium didn’t need him so much. He’s embarrassed about it… until you find it and ask him to read it aloud.
X = X-ray
Beautifully built, like a living statue. Veins over thick muscle, not overly hairy, every inch of him sculpted and huge. His cock is long and straight, thick at the base, flushed reddish-pink, with a defined head and heavy balls. He leaks a lot when desperate.
Y = Yearning
Sky-high, but heavily repressed. He can go months without acting on his desire, but when he finally cracks? It’s apocalyptic. He’ll pin you down and make love like he’s making a saint of you. Desperate, consuming, sacred.
Z = Zzz
He has trouble sleeping after sex—too many thoughts, guilt, planning. But if you curl into his chest, touch his hair, and whisper that he did well? He’ll finally relax. Slow breaths. Eyes shut. One arm holding you to him like a vow.

Blindfolded during spicy times, but it's Vincent's red bandana that is being used 🫢
(has been done in BotB but you know what let's do it again)
Vincent has self-image issues, that much was obvious from the get-go. But even as you work your way through his walls and slowly get him accustomed to gestures of affection, he still maintains that one basic, physical barrier: clothing. Head to toe in leather, the golden armor, the cloak - he buries himself under layers even in the worst heat and barely deigns to take so much as a glove off even when it's just you and him. At least he's willing to do that much, and you always marvel at how incredibly soft his skin is when he graces you with a bare-handed touch.
It's finally too much for you to take this time as he lets you invade his personal space and kiss him with all the enthusiasm you can muster, whining against his lips as his hands slid along your sides and draw your hips flush with his. "Please, Vincent, I need you. I can't stand this."
You emphasize the last word with hands plucking at his shirt, and he goes still. That's to be expected, and you're already willing to compromise as you kiss your way to his ear, feeling him shiver with the breath you exhale there.
"I don't need to see but I want to feel you, please. I need it..."
He shudders against you, at war with himself no doubt. You bide your time, nuzzling against the soft skin just beneath his ear, making do with what little is exposed to you by virtue of the fact he can't cover that much of himself. If it were possible and feasible, you think he'd cover himself entirely and only ever show his eyes.
"You do not know what you ask," he murmurs finally, weakly. His walls are wavering, and if you press gently, persistently, you know he'll let them fall for you. You kiss at the same spot and feel him shiver again.
"Blindfold me, I promise I won't look. Just let me feel you for once, please."
He's quiet again for longer than most people would find comfortable, but you know you've won when he heaves a sigh and gently pulls away from you, hands lingering on you with a reluctance to let go. But he needs them in order to reach up and untie his bandana, letting his messy hair drape over his face even more as he peers through it at you. Shiva, he's fucking beautiful. You wish he would believe you when you tell him that, but progress is slow.
He folds the red fabric in half lengthwise, and you hold still to let him tie it about your head, your vision obscured with a comforting red-tinged darkness. Then his hands give your cheeks a brief, but tender caress before withdrawing, and you patiently wait through the sounds of his clothing, that final barrier, coming down for you.
One day, you'll get him to trust you with actually seeing him.
For now you're merely delighted to learn exactly how soft-skinned the rest of his body is as well, if just as lanky and bony as you expected him to be. He makes up for it by being especially tender with every last kiss and caress.

@ligawolfcosplayandarts
So, this person blocked me, because they are bloody coward and were afraid of my response. But I'm gonna post this anyway. If you know this idiot, give them my love letter they've asked for.

You hid in the comments and then dropped a wall of self-important nonsense like that proves anything. Let’s set the record straight.
First off—Gregor Clegane did not need Tywin’s orders to be a monster. He was already a sadist before Tywin even weaponized him. The dude burned his brother’s face in a fire as a kid, murdered smallfolk for sport, raped girls just because he could, and destroyed entire villages long before any “orders” were given. There is zero canonical evidence that he was forced to rape or torture anyone under duress. He chose that violence. He liked it. Even the Lannisters feared him. That’s not an obedient soldier. That’s a rabid dog in armor.
Your logic of “I’d be safe if I gave him orders” is laughable. You think Gregor takes orders from you? Get real. The man killed his own men when they annoyed him. Tywin didn’t keep him in check with kindness—he kept him useful through fear and power. The moment you stop being useful? You’re bones in a ditch.
Also, stop acting like someone called you delulu is the same as calling you a slur. Grow up. “Delulu” is slang for delusional—it’s not some deep-cut political insult, and it sure as hell isn’t “right-wing rhetoric.” That’s a pathetic reach, especially from someone who claims to be 31 and too old for slang, then follows it up with “I’m awesome 🤣.” Get over yourself.
And no, I don’t care about your cosplay, your Gregor fan art, or how “rare” it is. You don’t get a pass just because you draw a character or slap on a wig. Canon is canon—Gregor’s a monster, not a misunderstood killing machine waiting for a nice boss to “fix” him. Like him all you want. No one’s stopping you. But don’t rewrite the source material to make it palatable. That’s not headcanon, it’s delusion. And yes, I’ll still call it that.
Let’s be clear: you can like villains, no one’s banning you from your own fanart bubble—but don’t piss on canon and call it rain. Gregor Clegane isn’t a misunderstood golden retriever waiting for the right master—he’s Westeros’s equivalent of a war crime wrapped in steel. You’re not edgy or deep for saying “he just needed a better handler.” That’s not nuance, that’s fanfiction-level cope. And trying to make this about your art, your cosplay, your “awesome” personality? That’s ego talking, not substance. People don’t owe you validation because you drew the Mountain with better lighting. If you want people to “be chill,” maybe stop writing essays full of fragile defensiveness and actually learn to take a factual correction without throwing a tantrum wrapped in emojis.

truly thought no one would care for the space regency,,, I see now that I was wrong-
I’m not sure when I’m going to draw next, so I’m answering some questions en masse under the cut
I lost the ask but it was about the Mandalorians in medieval armor, and I see this vision and I like this vision but it is not my vision. I’m thinking full Jane Austen and Bridgerton s1 & 2 vibes just with space ships instead of carriages, so the Mandalorians are more like people who live out in the countryside. They are wealthy from beskar trade and have status, but they don’t really socialize outside of their planet so they are a bit off-putting (especially Bo-Katan). I also think it is interesting to explore how Din would use the rules of society as armor to hide behind! The scandal of a layman with a son becoming the Duke of Mandalore; Din would have to adapt quickly and learn how to use his words and actions as weapons.
Padmé and the handmaidens: Padmé got voted in as Duchess at 14 because of her work with her father building homes for the poor on Naboo. She was the kind of person who cared a lot about each person they did work for and made an effort to try and improve their lives as much as she could. Her handmaidens stick to the original 5, but also go by their original names (ie Sabé is Tsabin, Rabé is Rabene, etc). They aren’t trained in defense, but they are Padmé’s closest friends as being suddenly placed as Duchess of an entire planet is very isolating. Tsabin could switch places with Padmé when they were younger, and at the beginning of her rule did at Particularly boring parties, but eventually gave it up when Padmé’s passion for the job outweighed her hesitations.
Alderaan and the Organas: Leia mainly grew up on Alderaan. Bail Organa was Padmé’s first supporter in the House of Lords, and they’re very close. Breha spends a lot of time on Alderaan learning from and supporting her people, which Padmé greatly admires and she wants to give Leia a better political education than herself and trusts Bail and Breha. Leia goes to Alderaan sort of like boarding school, but it’s a one-on-one sort of thing with her and the Organas. When Leia entered society she moved back to Naboo full time to learn about her own people and their needs.
When does Luke enlist? Well, he doesn’t. I think the sort of isolation that we see cannon Luke have in BOBF/sequels comes from him being the Only Jedi, but that wouldn’t really still work if there’s a royal funded army all his life. I think of Luke in this au as someone fully aware that he isn’t heir to the duchy, he’s not even a spare. He kinda fills the role of “woman who must marry” in that way. He’s extremely well-bred, knows all the rules of polite society, speaks multiple languages, etc etc but he has no real political power. His best trait, as society sees it, is giving someone the ability to marry into a family with wealth and very good connections. If Din had to learn quickly how to use the rules of society as weapons, Luke’s been doing it all his life. They make good sparring partners as conversationalists.
Which, while we’re talking about being enlisted, Anakin is dismissed from the Royal Galactic Army when the queen learns he’s engaged to Padmé. It is unbecoming of a gentleman in such a position to be a soldier. But on the bright side, Anakin never felt comfortable or wanted to be in the Army, he just did it because he felt indebted to Qui-Gonn. He does actually really enjoy being at home with the twins when they are so young, and when Leia starts visiting Alderaan on long trips Anakin splits his time between doing woodwork and construction with Ruwee in Theed and visiting Tattooine with Luke.
What is Han like in this au? Han is Han, which is to say he’s a pilot. He’s specifically a cargo pilot looking into entering the trade world, which is why he is initially interested in making acquaintance with the twins. They are very close with their Uncle Obi-Wan who owns a very profitable kyber mine but doesn’t have much time to run it (smth Luke helps out with when he’s older) and wouldn’t that be just the perfect place for a nobody like Han to get his foot in the door? Transporting expensive crystals, be a shame if someone were to skim some for their own sales, especially someone courting Leia. It would be quite the scandal don’t you think?
By the time we get to the “sequels”, the lineage is: Padmé has passed and Leia is Duchess of Naboo. She has one son, Ben, and Han has left the picture (he still loves Leia, he just couldn’t do the whole society thing. He didn’t realize what a bad spot socially that put Leia and all of Naboo in) Din is Duke of Mandalore, and Luke is the Duke Consort of Mandalore. They have three children, Grogu, Finn and Rey (all adopted, and in space regency that’s legitimate). I kind of imagine the prequels, ot, and sequels of this au as like different tv seasons, so the main plot of “season 3” is that Rey is the only female relative of Leia, and the Queen decides that she is to take on the Duchy of Naboo when Leia passes. This makes Ben Very Angry, and he starts stirring up political trouble (as if Naboo wasn’t already having a hard enough time). Luke is also displeased with the decision to make Rey next in line because he and Din raised their children not to be politicians but to have good lives. Finn started studying politics simply because he had interest in it, and it was sort of an open secret that once he was ready Din would give him the Broach (stand in for dark saber) so like all this Rey stuff throws a wrench in their plans for Rey’s life. Plus that’s his baby!!! His youngest!! He doesn’t want her to go :( I’m only halfway through the book but “season 3” has Emma by Jane Austen vibes in my mind.
That all took like an hour to write up I don’t know how fic writers do it. I hope that all makes sense?? I’m happy to yap more if anyone wants, and I have some ideas to draw so we will see if I end up actually posting. Thanks if you read all this way!! I’m gonna use the tag “keylime space regency” to organize this stuff so if I post more of this au that’ll be the place to go :)

@summer-of-bad-batch Week 2 | Main Prompt: "Tattoos" and Week 2 | Bonus Prompt: "I am seldom wrong."
Cross-posted on Ao3

Rated: G | no romantic relationships | Words: 671
“Are you absolutely certain that this is what you want?” Tech studied the sketches as they walked, absentmindedly keeping pace with his brothers. “From what I have read, it’s wiser to start with something smaller and located somewhere less visible—and less painful.”
“Visibility is the point!” Hunter said. “Why go through the trouble to get something that’s always covered by our armor?”
“I see. All the same, your particular designs and placements of choice are…concerning.” He held up Hunter’s drawing in the hazy light of the polluted city they were traversing. “Inking almost fifty percent of your face in one session is incredibly ill-advised. Large-scale shading is lengthy and painful, especially on sensitive body parts like the face. Not to mention that its size would make removal difficult. This,” he tapped the sketch of a face covered entirely on one side with a black skull design, “is extreme.”
“We are extreme, Tech.”
(He couldn’t exactly refute that, not without being hypocritical. Regs had been giving him a wide berth since his final piloting evaluation the month before.)
Hunter held up his helmet, showing off the new paint that already mirrored his desired tattoo design. The squad had just settled on their color scheme, and he was more enthusiastic about it than anyone. “Just think how wizard a skull would look with this paint job.”
“Supposed ‘wizard’-ness aside, I feel the need to remind you that your enhanced senses will make the experience of getting tattooed especially painful. You’d do well to minimize that with something smaller.”
“Skull,” was his brother’s one-word rebuttal.
Tech couldn’t stifle a frustrated sigh. Of all the people he could have been tasked with dissuading, it had to be the two most willful clones ever created.
He held up the other sketch and addressed Crosshair. “While you wisely opted for a small, simple design, you picked perhaps the worst possible location. I have read that the skin around the eyes is one of the most sensitive areas for a tattoo. What’s more, any number of complications are possible: a blowout of ink, infection due to unsanitary conditions, or even puncturing your eye. We are unfamiliar with this tattooist, and if an accident were to happen, you would run the risk of a permanent eye injury.”
“A very sunny thought,” Crosshair said, looking almost bored.
Tech frowned at the sniper. “Given your specialty, I would expect you to take that into heavy consideration.”
“Yeah, yeah. I’ve weighed and measured it and all that. We’re doing this.”
“Understood.” Dissuading any of his batchmates was a lost cause once they’d set their course. They were almost to the tattoo parlor; practically past the point of no return for either Hunter or Crosshair. “I assume you’ve at least hydrated in preparation like I advised?”
Crosshair scoffed. “What do I look like to you?”
“Frankly? The human incarnation of a dried kelp strip.”
“And you’re the human incarnation of a wet blanket.”
Tech wanted to argue, but just then, they reached the tattoo parlor. If he hadn’t already been protesting to a brick wall, he was now.
The establishment seemed sanitary enough. Tech interrogated the owner while his brothers consulted one of the artists about their sketches, and was satisfied to learn that the inks were prepared with distilled water and the needles were properly cleaned after every use. At least Hunter and Crosshair weren’t likely to get infections from their tattoos.
“Have you heard enough, or do you need to run a background check on everyone in this shop?” Crosshair demanded after Tech had peppered the artists with questions about the possibility of an allergic reaction to the inks, which was thankfully unlikely. “We have to be back at base in a few hours.”
He supposed it wouldn’t do to rush the artists. For the second time in less than an hour, Tech gave a long suffering sigh and relented. “For the record, you will both regret this.”
Neither of them listened, of course.
Hunter blacked out halfway through.

Greetings! To start of: I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOUR ARTSTYLE!!! the way the characters look both round/softer yet very adorable, the color scheme, the way you render and so much more!!!
Sorry if this is a bit intrusive but... may you kindly with cherries on top give a lil' tutorial on how you do anatomy? If you want to do it of course...
HI GWAAHHH THANK YOU WHAT !
sacondly..... not intrusive at all!!! i'd be happy to explain (im praying you can follow along though cause im horrid at explaining stuff ashdfkahsdf)
im predicting this post will be EXTREMELY long so it will be under a cut :]
play this in the bg for the Full Experience if you want /silly /not forced
OK SOOOO the way i've learned to draw anatomy is by viewing the body as a bunch of "building blocks". this is honestly the way i've learned to draw like. everything (everything is just made of shapes if you look hard enough!!!!!), but anatomy and organic things in general are a big more complicated in the sense that these shapes connect in really weird ways and sometimes (often, depending on the style) can't just be summarized as "circle" and "square"
the way i view bodies is like this! the numbers are mainly there to show the order in which *i* place these blocks, but by no means is this the order anyone has to follow! fuck up the numbers if you want!!!! start from 6 and head to 1 if you want!! whatever makes you happy :]
but after this base sketch is done, you can basically continue drawing details like clothes, facial expressions, hair, etcetc, and soon you can have your very own gay man like the one here (or. whatever youre drawing)! (you'll also notice i tweaked the arm on the left a bit cause it was messing with me)
obviously though theres other body types out there! and luckily this "building block" thing also applies there too!
(drawing armor is also a series of building blocks as well except its less organic and more rigid/shape-y and requires a prayer to the god you hold dear)
(not very well drawn to scale cause i forgor)
you can draw all kinds of bodies if you view the body as just a series of shapes! obviously, your own personal style may impact how many shapes you see/draw, especially for more realistic styles, but generally i view em like this!
for especially complex poses, especially ones that involve perspective, its good to try to view the shapes in a more "3d" way. you can always grab a throwaway canvas/paper and practice some perspective on the side with some super simple shapes! (like how you mightve drawn 3d cubes n stuff on a 1-point or 2-point perspective plane when you were in like 6th grade or smthn i havent been to high school in years i dont remember what the grade is) drawing on the side, especially when you dont take it super serious and just kinda dick around, helps you learn a surprising amount :] if you dont get it down the first time, thats all good! there's always the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 10th, 500th, 1 billionth, fucktillionth time you can do it :]
as for digitigrade/furry stuff, as well as more specific parts of the body (looking at you HANDS.), they also follow the building block stuff, just kinda in a really weird way!!
as much as i love to draw him, beenilla is literally just a mess of limbs and stuff and it takes a long ass time to draw him sometimes (especially with unique poses), but he also follows the general "building block" stuff too! his is more pronounced since his arms have visible joints, and are more divided into basically a bunch of ovals and circles, but the shapes thing still applies!
for hands and paws, they also do as well (again, just about everything out there is made up of simple shapes!). they definitely take! practice to learn! drawing them can be a pain in the ass but learning them is very worth it :] i personally only draw characters with 4 fingers since its easier for me to do (who needs the pinkie anyways)!
a good thing to check out as well are references from real life *and* studying from other artists and analyzing their works and how they use certain techniques! a majority of what ive learned is from analyzing other artists actually, it's incredibly fun to see how different artists do different things and how they execute them! speedpaints can be wonderful sources of learning for this reason :]
lastly, FUCK AROUND AND FIND OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO SERIOUS sticking with the same old stuff may reinforce the skills you're practicing, but NEVER be afraid of doing new things or diving into new styles and trying a new pose! sure it may look like jank the first couple of times around, but that is the learning process!!!!!!!!!!! to learn new things requires you to *do* new things, and i think theres always time to learn! thats why i think art is such a fun wonderful subject, cause you learn so much from it!!!!!!!!! and you can just do fuckin ! whatever!! just start doin stuff!!!!
i have to leave for work rn so im ending this really abruptly im so sorry but YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my weird tutorial i hope it made sense ajshdfkahsd
#i dont have an ask tag uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hi one quastions#cookie run#digital art#cookie run kingdom#crk#anatomy

Platonic yandere yautja x human child reader
Aww dad yautja😊 I didn't write for yautjas in months!! Hopefully u enjoy it!! Also i used they/them for kid. No tw, only cuteness and wholesome dad figure yautja👹 request open
Dad yautja with human kid
Bro is confused ??? Tf??? Why is there a child here??
He either found them abandoned in middle of nowhere or accidentally killed their perents, by 'accidentaly' i mean ofc he wanted to kill them he just didn't know there was a child nearby and now he feels bad
Kinda finds human pups ugly😭 why are you so smol and loud wtf
Dad!yautja after he kinda adopts y/n he gets too overprotective! Like dude won't leave their side at all, especially when you guys are outside; dude will pick them up and just carry around.
Can't cook to save his life, he kinda set kitchen on fire. And humans cant eat raw meat, so now you are on fruit diet for now (and veggies)
Had this parental instinct to teach them everything, how to shoot, find food, basic self-defence, overall taking good care of themselfs. But he kinda likes that he has to provide for them, it gives him control yknow
When he carries them around everywhere! He acually lets them sit on his shoulders or just hang on his neck😓😍
Cant say no to those cute big eyes! Yes he will let them 'decorate' his armor (with glitter and stickers) and he will let them paint his nails and he will lisen to them gossip about their friends.
If his kid is a little artist and walks up to him and says "papa i drew you!" He does not care that he looks like a lizard nor that they didn't color it perfectly. Dude is purring, picking y/n up and he carries this drawing in pocket everywhere
Other yautjas say that he spoils them, but he disagrees! Your a HUMAN baby, i mean yeah your basically one of yautjas now but!!! Your tiny! And your skin is so squishy!!!
He had to learn how to comb their hair cuz at some point y/n simply refused to cut it (me too lil guy) and he respects them so much he won't just do something against them
Kinda wishes he could understand human body language more
Also about body language i can imagine kid just kinda mimicing yatuja body language and habits. Like dad!yatuja will say "child please go to bed its late" the kid will just angry respond with a hiss👹 "hsssss👽🦎" "?????" If yaujtas had eyebrows, he would rise them
If y/n is a girl, and she has her first period? Dude panics! HUHH WHAT BLOOD??? FROM WHERE!?? UHHHH????
Dude tries to be a perfect father figure, he tries to have similar intrests with his kid so they can connect more, but if y/n is totally not into hunting, collecting, nature themed stuff, Yautja is more than happy to catch up with whatever teens are into this days, but he will judge the hell out of tv shows (if they watch any)
I kinda forgot it suppose to be yandere so it turned out to be just wholesome im so sorry
Understands that kid needs privacy but he will just go invisible mode and lurk in shadows! Like what if somone attacks you??? Or worse! What if you meet some humans that he doenst like??? What if they will tell y/n all lies about what 'bad war crimes' he commited and what 'murderous' his kind is!! Those are lies pls dont lisen to humans
No boy/girlfriends!!! Nuh uh!! Your his little baby you cant go doing all those... things... with some human. ugh! this person probably can't even hunt for you!! Or give you nice treasures!! Or build a pretty nest!! Why would you like them my child?? Look at all those trophies i gathered for all those years! You should stay here!
He loves the fact that he lives in some wild ass jungle and y/n cant leave him due to all those dangers around, plus he loves that y/n will always stay tiny(in comparison obviously) and weak so be basically needs to provide for them! Right???
I used x reader tags ONLY to reach bigger audience

General Gabriel and V1 Headcanons- 2!!!
Can be seen as platonic or romantic, your choice lol
V1’s optic is bright, sometimes shines it directly in Gabriel’s eyes to annoy him, it’s a great night light though
Gabriel is learning how to cook, sometimes finds dried spices while scavenging the surface and brings them home, especially likes trout (yummy) and PITR fish (polite), V1 is not allowed to help in the kitchen, it would 100% burn down their base
Both like stargazing, but sometimes it makes Gabriel miss heaven, he knows all the constellations and teaches V1 them
V1 can’t fucking stay still, says something about a “style meter,” but Gabriel never understands what that’s all about
(inspired by a comic I saw) Gabriel hates the limbo layer because he flew into one of the hologram walls lmao, V1 must never know of this
Both like to visit the ferryman often, she always offers them a room to stay, she has a hampster named "blorp" (V1 and Gabriel's hampster is named florp) that goes missing a lot but always comes back, V1 once had to use slam storage to reach blorp's hiding spot, blorp and florp do not get along :( , they will scrongle each other
V1 really likes finding hats, it starts a collection and tries them out on KITR, she makes an excellent model, florp just likes to sit in the hats, they're comfy
Using scrap from other machines, V1 makes a new arm specifically designed to pet KITR
Gabriel has a knack for taking what V1 calls “birdbaths,” he just splashes his wings around in a pond, tries to do this alone because it makes him embarrassed lol
Gabriel also likes to draw, still working on proportions but loves to sketch V1 and the pets
Gabe feels very guilty over all his kills, but especially over minos, he wonders what lust could've been if minos was allowed to continue his reign, V1 also feels guilty after killing minos in his prime form
Gabriel is legitimately afraid of sisyphus prime and has no idea how V1 defeated him, honestly V1 doesn't know either
Neither had seen snow before, V1 loves pelting Gabriel with snowballs using its many arms, Gabriel does not like this lol
While sparring, both enjoy adding a little bit of flourish to their attacks, making it a deadly dance of blade and artillery
The ferryman actually bested Gabriel in combat once, though that may or may not be because he has a soft soft for her
Gabriel is scared of spiders, he needs V1 to squash them for him, will scream if one is spotted, he's also scared of the mannequins in the violence layer (fair), their skittering reminds him of spiders
The hot sun of the greed layer makes both V1 and Gabriel hate going there, it heats up their armor/metal plating, V1 also hates sand, it gets stuck in their joints

A Gentle Confrontation
All of the Robot Master's knew by now the bad habits that their human had. Yes, their human. The one who had revived them, gave each and every single one a chance at freedom, no laws, true choice, and fully open sense and emotion. To live as they chose to be no matter their original functions or creators. Given exactly what the world wanted to ensure never had been given to them, and yet this lone human was a damned fool. Denies herself the same courtesy. It drove many of them up a wall with these facts, others deemed it useless to worry about, or just left.
Metal Man had even made Shaska promise him to his face, that she would not die or give up until all of them, or as many as can be, were back and online. The Wily Bot had been furious about the very idea of her dying on them without keeping the promise made so long ago. And he often times stuck around when she worked, especially on more dangerous numbers, just to ensure no accidents happened, nor did she mess up. Quick was much of the same boat, but preferred other methods to take up his time. Elec himself would come to assist now than then, more so to ensure that the human herself wasn't ragged, nor was her armor ever left at subpar power.
The list went on of who else would be involved, to help, either by locating remains, or by working around the underground facility, anything to get their end goals finished. And all the same that human kept pushing the limits that shouldn't be taken, even augmented as she was. Burning at both ends with a seemingly never ending candle, just as well as being more and more bitter, alongside health ever on the wavering thing line if any support system failed or medicine ran out. It was familiar. Not exact, but just enough...
Shadow Man has been seeing it for some time now, others slowly catching up to the traits he had already recognized. That woman who had taken a near impossible, and admittedly foolish, goal to revive robot masters... Was slowly becoming the amalgamation of all the worst traits of Proto Man, once upon a time. But without restrictions, laws, nor a network inside that head of hers. Truthfully? As much as Shadow did respect the woman's talent in the labs, and how she had gotten better in the battle field- he still believed her to be quite foolish at times. And he has had enough.
The old hybrid bot had found the woman as always, doing tasks within the work space she had deemed 'Restoration Section'. Where the base parts of Robot Masters were all repaired or put back together, alongside the updates. Next door to the 'Revival' room. It was well organized, if not dreadfully human of her to use this. But he wasn't here to argue semantics right now. No, the bigger issue at hand was the scientist herself.
"Shaska." Shadow spoke up to draw the others attention, watching as she finally looked up from repairing another Buster arm. It seemed to be another Wily bot if he judged the wiring just right. There was always a notable distinct way those threaded together for maximum weapon output. Whom it was for was not yet clear to him without details, but it was still a comfort to know another brother of theirs may yet be brought back online. So many were walking around now, living lives as if they were Reploids, but so many yet remained dead and lost to them.
Tools were put down as the woman stood up from her work bench, turned to look entirely towards the wily bot. "Hey, Shadow Man. How can I help you? Has something happened?"
Always jumping to conclusions that something is needed or required of her. Every time. A learned coping mechanism perhaps, or just automatic instinct after so long. Shadow gently shook his head. "Nothing of the sort. I am here to merely talk to you. Face to face and very seriously."
The brunette perked an eyebrow slowly, while one hand reached out to flick at a switch at her work desk, forcing the door behind the Robot Master to click closed for some privacy. "Absolutely. What's this about?"
"It's about you."
As he suspected, Shaska tensed up in fight or flight mode. Her shoulders were back, head lifted another inch. Braced for impact. Shadow knew it well, considering the amount of people that had snapped at her in similar ways. The shouting, the rage, furious entreaties. That was a learned way to prepare herself for the inevitable and worst possibility, simply accepting that rage to shoulder it and let people make their assumptions. It was useless, lacked any sort of reasoning to do so, other than the trauma of survivors guilt and the self punishment of the past she had no reason to keep.
Shadow stepped closer. "You need to give yourself days of recovery, after stints out in the world, or days spent in the labs. You are human. If you intend to hold up your side of your promise to us." He was well versed in how some almost obsessed scientists would just keep going, more and more. Wily was even worse when it came to being a workaholic. But at least he didn't go about getting personally involved in combat like this mad woman. "This is not your weight to bear, but you have taken it all the same. It's not your punishment to make up for the past."
Dark eyes looked away, back towards the unfinished buster at her table. Shaska knew he was speaking the truth here, but the furrows of self doubt ran deep in that psyche, like canyons eroded away through the many long nights left to her own horrid thoughts, dug out from mental claws of anguish to leave her own inner self confined in it's own trap. A starving creature devouring it's self not unlike an ouroboros in the worst ways. "Who else has the where with all to do it? Or, well, the means to find any of you that is, and safely. It's my people that wronged you and yours, when Robot Masters deserved better, as do Reploids of the now-"
"Doctor Jonez-"
"Do not call me that!" Shaska shouted suddenly, head whipping around to stare at him. "I am not a Doctor nor as good as them! They have that title, I do not!" A step forward in challenge at the Wily bot. Shadow knew damn well she was capable, had been sparring with other Robot Masters in this underground bunker they hid away in most times. Yes, she could take him in a fight, but he wasn't here for that and was not ruffled into such. Instead he met her step with one of his own, hand snapping out to grab her by the shirt and yank closer, lifting the short human clean off the concrete flooring.
"I'll call you as I see fit, Shelly."
"Wh-"
"You're right, you're not Doctor Light or Doctor Wily. Not even Doctor Cossack... But that is a good thing. You are Shelly Jonez, you are also Shaska. You are Doctor Jonez now, and to us you are our means of revival and life anew. You will never be any of them, instead you are someone new, something new. What ever anyone else tells you is a lie." The hand tightened on those clothes as Shaska stared up at Shadow in stunned silence. When she went to speak, he jostled her and turned, shoving the human against the wall, forcing her to grunt and shut up. "I've heard you talk. Claiming the shadows you walk in. But you don't see the shadow you cast yourself. Step out from others, because they would not approve of what you do, yet we do. Let yourself live for once, Doctor. So we can live to." Now is when Shadow man finally let go of her, allowing the woman to slide down and stagger, standing once more.
Was it bad she flinched then? Being released without so much more shouting? It was all spoken with that calm tone. Almost gentle, despite the harsh handling. Trying to knock the sense physically into the woman.
A heavy swallow followed as Shaska glanced up, unsure of just how to react- especially when Shadow Man's hand lifted to gently pat her on the head, gentle as can be. Which is a stark contrast to any Wily Bots. "You're good to us. And we try to be the same. So be kind to yourself, my friend." That hand dropped once more to his side. "Just stay you."
Before anything could be said, Shadow felt he had outlived his welcome at the moment. And his internal code was struggling, too much of this was hard for him at times. Unless it was his fiance, Aria would be proud of him today, he thinks. The bot hummed and turned, vanishing in a rush of energy as he sank into his own casted darkness. Leaving a confused and caught off guard Shaska standing there.
"... I need air."

hii, so what do you think will happen to Deku?? ive been seeing soo many people on my tl saying that he'll end up quirkless and i know its not supposed to be like that but now idk anymore and with this last chapter i think he may end up quirkless which i hate btw. Anyways, what are your thots on this and where do you think the memory thing is going?
I'm sorry to say, but I've been a "Deku ends up quirkless" again truther for many years. To me, narratively, it just makes sense for the overall set-up of the main question of the manga: "Can I be a hero?" which has kept coming back in the endgame to come full circle.
In this story, we have learnt that all kinds of people can become heroes: people with "villain quirks" (like Shinsou), people with niche quirks (Aizawa, Monoma), people with troublesome quirks (Mirio), people who don't even use their quirks to be heroes (Hatsume). So I don't see how it would be only the MC, who needs specifically the greatest power in existence to be a hero. Deku needs to be able to face his quirkless middle school self and tell him with all confidence that "you can be a hero too".
To me, given how OFA evolved (the multiple quirks, the shortcuts to 100%, the short learning time), it would make sense if Deku's journey is not to be an empty chalice / tool for OFA, but OFA to be the tool for him to discover his own strengths (physical, mental, battle IQ, etc.), learn how to fight and help him to become a hero.
All Might even did the test run for an Armored Hero, mimicking the quirks of Class A and held up against AFO just as well if not better than people with quirks did. That plot is way more fitting for Deku who has actually been relentlessly studying his friends' quirks and with proto-Deku being an actual tech hero.
And on top of it, I think that Deku staying as ridiculously OP as he is would not give him a happy ending. OFA has no reason to exist once AFO (the quirk) is gone for good. Staying so OP would send Izuku down the road of All Might 2.0 - whether he wants to or not - with no life for himself. He's self-sacrificial enough that if he has the power to do everything, he will keep doing it and run to every corner of the world to help. It's isolating and that rat race is not what makes Izuku as a person happy.
He's someone who likes to hang out with his friends, stop to chat with people he saved and make candy apples to make them smile. That's where his true happiness lie imho.
The only question mark I have is because of Bakugou's ridiculous power-up. I've always thought Bakugou and Deku will end up around the same power level in the end (to keep the whole rivals thing going into post-franchise movies). Probably Shouto too, but that's less of a given.
But now, I'm not sure how Horikoshi will balance this. Bakugou is still nowhere near full-power Deku, but Armored Deku I don't think would be a credible rival to 2xAwakened Bakugou. So because of that, I can imagine, Hori will do the typical Hori-thing and won't commit and will go instead for some half-ass solution of nerfing Deku just so (e.g. having him keep Black Whip or have some asspull of the super strength fuse into his DNA, or get a quirk back from Tomura...) and then keep the fandom arguing who is stronger.
For me, the narratively more compelling story is to have Deku wake up quirkless after the big battle, after he saved the world and getting a few chapters of him getting back to his feet, and not a single soul question whether he still belongs to the hero course because of course he does. And then have absolutely everyone help him - to pitch in money to develop his armor and help him train and everyone (and especially Bakugou) treat him as absolute EQUAL and as an inspiration. And then have him graduate from UA as the first ever quirkless hero ever (and go on to work as hero partners with Bakugou probably).
Hori said that he has a lot of stuff he wants to draw after the war, and I think something like this would make sense.

@intertexts im being haunted by pd parahumans au. officially
some Thoughts under the cut hehe
WILLIAM:
I like 2 think he wears a LOT of body armor especially if his power involves leaving his physical body vulnerable. i think he'd take every precaution possible to protect it w armor/the majority of his costume being darker in color. since his powers wouldn't require direct contact with other people PLUS he's really the only one on the team with close direct family members to protect with his identity, he'd keep the majority of his skin covered/concealed and use loose bulky clothes + the cape to change his silhouette. bold of him to have fire motifs in his costume design and not actually have fire based powers <3 I'm totally bullshitting the classification numbers but I think his breaker level would be higher than the master level since he doesn't always have the greatest control over the wisps (they do their own thing sometimes it's fine)
DAKOTA:
I REALLY like the idea that at first glance everyone EXPECTS him to be a brute. but hes not. he's just insane about martial arts training and has built up a lot of muscle because of it. has the least protective costume. VERY little armor on him, doesn't like the restriction/weight of armor. has a ton of scars from a combination of that lack of protective gear + putting himself in front of teammates in danger + the insane amount of training he does, basically pushes himself to the limit constantly. has a lot of big pockets in his pants, usually keeps things like extra bandages and snacks in them :] belt around his waist is like a karate black belt. doesn't wear shoes, keeps hands and feet bandaged basically at all times.
VYNCENT:
also keeps a lot of bare skin showing in costume, mostly on his arms in order to use his powers. has a lot of belts that look pretty useless/only for aesthetic reasons but uses them to hide a lot of little concealed weapons in case his powers backfire and he can't use them immediately. pretty well trained in melee combat. the most lax with his identity, but is still somewhat careful about it. the highest power rating on the team, but also the one with the least amount of control over his powers. it takes him a while to get used to using someone else's powers, so it's general knowledge among villains that you DONT want to fight him more than once in close succession (and if you do, to stall the fight/draw it out as long as possible because he can only use his powers in short bursts. gotta wear him out). he's the most comfortable with using williams and dakotas powers (and on rarer occasions, tide's) but still can't fully control them
SIDE NOTES:
- when asked who the leader of the team is, william will say it's dakota, dakota will say it's william. vyncent will say either of them depending on the day
- I like 2 think tide kind of takes the role of director piggot ? since she seems the most like their caretaker/mentor. except it's different with tide, he's a little more directly involved with them 1) because he genuinely cares about them and they care about him and 2) because he's also a cape, he can more directly kind of teach them the rules (?)
- ashe joins the team way later and there's a little but of strain because of it. this is mostly from william, who gets jealous easily and doesn't generally do well with new people (he defends himself by saying putting two masters on the team makes them unbalanced, really he's just a little jealous that ashe is master 8 and he's only master 5) HOWEVER. eventually they end up being the ones that hang out the most out of costume <3
- THINKINGGGGG A LOT. ABOUT HOW ASHE JOINS THEM BTW. I think I need 2 read more worm before I actually decide. learn how the prt responds to certain things. i.e. how does this kid with a villain dad end up on the wards (right now im considering a chariot situation where he originally joins as a mole . but then decides he likes them <3 this could also contribute to why william doesnt like him at firsr because hes the most likely to figure that out. )
- thinking a LOT about the leviathan fight. i don't exactly know how to put those thoughts into words rn but. tide gets OFFICIALLY sent to the leviathan fight bc of his water powers and i think maybe. they follow him when they're not supposed to. but then they get to stay because they're already there and the rest of the heroes are not gonna turn down more hands in the fight. (somewhat similar to the meatball planet situation)
- extreme ghostkicks codependency. that is all
#despite what he does in canon i think in worm world william would be EXTREMELY cautious with his identity#partially because of family partially out of shame w his powers/doesnt wanna be associated with hero stuff as much when hes out of costume#ASHE ISNT HERE ONLY BECAUSE I RAN OUT OF ROOM ON THE PAGE .#jrwi pd#pd worm au#new haven wards#<< been calling it that in my mind thats the name to me now#wormposting#not puttimg all of the tags on this bc its just a messy sketch but STILL#william wisp#dakota cole#vyncent sol#jrwi#traditional art#ghostiezone

DRDT Characters’ Quirks and Roles (BNHA AU)
I made a typo one time calling Hope’s Peak “UA”, so now I have to course correct. In other words, here’s the quirks (essentially superpowers for the uninformed) I think the DRDT cast would have if they were in BNHA, and what roles they would play in the story! Well, this was originally just going to be quirks, but I got carried away and now I have a whole AU. How did this happen.
Get ready for somewhat clear favoritism, especially 1-B supremacy.
Btw, I know DRDT characters are older than high schoolers, but I’m still making them first years so they can fit better in the narrative. And pretend hero course classes have a different number of students allowed. Oh, and I will use first names for DRDT characters and last names for BNHA characters, don’t @ me.
(This is way longer than it should be)
Xander: Rebel Heart
(He can’t stand to do nothing)
Whenever he perceives something he deems an injustice, his eye(s) begins glowing and his strength grows exponentially! Over time, he’s learnt to activate it on command by simply remembering injustices he’s seen. (Credit to @accirax for the idea! Tagging them 'cause they said they wanted to read this if I ever made it)
However, if he loses his temper too much, his body will begin using hysteric strength, which can damage his muscles and bones. Not to the extent of Midoriya, but still pretty bad.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. He did not like the stunt Aizawa pulled in the quirk apprehension test. Keep away from Bakugo at all costs. He constantly clashes with people like Iida and Yaoyorozu on ideals, and loves to argue. His enthusiasm does draw in people like Kirishima, Ashido, etc. He's essentially an honorary member of the Bakusquad, but Bakugo and him avoid each other a bit too much for Xander to truly be a member.
He originally joined UA just to ‘fight the bad guys’ and save people, but quickly gets convinced the Hero System is in desperate need for reform, and wants to revolutionize it from within. Over the course of the year(s), he adds people to his cause to completely overhaul the system.
Hero name: Revolution
(Thus starts the trend of me being bad at names)
Charles: Atomic Rearrangement
(Weakness is to be conquered, not ignored)
By touching an object, he can remove electrons, protons and neutrons from its atoms to change its chemical makeup, as well as rearrange the object’s molecular structure! He can later use the removed particles to create small electric shocks, or add them to another object and change its chemical makeup.
(I don’t think that’s how this would work, but pretend with me)
Common tricks include creating carbon-only weapons from the oxygen in the air, though he prefers creating carbon alloys with oxygen and stuff from his hero costume; reducing oxygen to hydrogen and blowing it up with a shock, a la Bakugo (he has to be careful, since he doesn’t have as much blast resistance as the other); vaporizing walls, weapons and armor by reducing their components to noble gasses; among others.
However, his quirk takes a toll on his mind, simply due to the effort of keeping track of the sheer number of particles he manipulates. He can generally fight without much focus, but he gets sloppy after too much use and can even lose the ability to speak for a while. He has lapses in memory when he really overdoes it. It’s a bit like Kaminari, but toned way down, and also, he resents the comparison.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. He began with an elitist attitude, only considering a few of his classmates to have have truly heroic quirks. He’s quickly humbled as his hemophobia becomes a problem since the very first time Midoriya uses his quirk. He has to work hard to be able to fight when blood’s involved, but he learns quickly. He gets better over time, in part thanks to his hero costume’s goggles blocking out the red color of blood to help him, but he still prefers his fights as bloodless as possible.
He ends up becoming quite well-liked after that bad first impression. Kaminari and Ashido constantly bother and prank him, but he's still first choice when they struggle with Chemistry. Todoroki and him enjoy just sorta existing near each other. Yaoyorozu and him regularly talk about chemicals no one but them even knows how to pronounce.
1-B and 1-A have a much closer relation in this AU (you'll see why), but the amount of time Charles spends with 1-B is still surprising. Until you realize Whit is in 1-B, and then it makes more sense.
Hero Name: Elemental
(I swear these get better)
Ace: Cavalry
(An unsure jockey will always move forward, but it will be the horse who chooses the path)
(Disclaimer: I know nothing about jockeying)
If he puts his legs over any object, in the same way one would put their legs over a horse, the object will begin flying forwards or backwards (he chooses) at great speeds, like a horse! Or, perhaps more accurately, a witch’s broom. Ace prefers horses for the explanation because as scary as they are, they’re less scary than witches.
His main trick involves jumping and bending his knees, which will trick his quirk into activating on his pants. As soon as he does, his speed will instantly increase to that of a good horse’s top speed, but given enough space to accelerate, he can even rival Hawks. This allows him to quickly and erratically reposition himself in battle, and kicking while flying at these speeds is his most usual form of attack. This leads to an extremely unorthodox, yet weirdly effective fighting style, where Ace constantly swings back and forth in the battlefield, kicking like a wild horse.
(I am not good at coming up with quirks)
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. But you think he wants to be a hero? Fuck no! That’s scary! But it’s what everyone told him he’d be good at, and he doesn’t want to disappoint them. He hates fighting and especially practicing, which is what makes his actual ability so strange.
He’s really good at both fighting and rescue, despite never wanting to practice for either. He even managed to grab everyone’s headbands during the cavalry battle of the first year Sports Fest, and kept them until the end! That one was awkward. The organizers had to make a tie-breaker game on the fly; 5 people from class A made it through, alongside Shinso, and the rest of the final 16 was all class 1-B, since Ace’s group was just people from his class.
The Common Sense Kings constantly bother him, he's fun to prank. Regularly receives Kendo neck chops. Monoma doesn't like Ace's quirk all that much, and Ace takes that as a point of pride. He will get punched by Kamakiri one day.
Deathly terrified by Pony Tsunotori.
Hero Name: Blowout
(I swear that's a real jockeying term)
Arei: Bowling Queen
(Because that’s what heroes do)
When she touches any object below a certain weight limit with her left hand, she can change its shape to match the size and shape of a bowling ball. She can additionally throw this ball with extreme strength and precision. Doesn’t work on things in direct contact with a person (read: clothes). She carries small marbles on her hero costume to expand into a bowling ball size and destroy her enemies. No real drawback, her arm just gets tired from throwing too much shit.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. She goes through a similar arc as she does in the killing game, but with Kendo comforting her instead of David when she breaks down at Eden’s niceness. She does actually get the chance to make it up to her, and she promises to buy support gear from her and only her for as long as she’s a hero. It’s the best support gear out there anyways (according to Arei, at least), so if anyone has any problems with it, they can eat a bowling ball.
Apart from that, she gets along with class B once she becomes nicer. Tokage and her in particular are a menace together. They also occassionally go bowling as a class, and she destroys everyone.
Hero Name: Strikeout
(I hope I’m not fucking up the bowling terminology and this isn’t bad. It just sounds better than ‘striker’ or something)
Rose: Photographic Memory
(An eye for details)
She can perfectly remember everything she’s ever seen, down to the most minute detail, and notice even extremely minor shifts in how things look!
UA Support Course student, class 1-H. She is the early warning system for Hatsume’s explosions (when she’s paying attention, anyways), since she can spot any malfunctions pretty much instantly. Her quirk incidentally allows her to perfectly visualize the things she wants to make, and her artistic abilities let her make incredible sketches. Only issue is she’s a bit of a perfectionist, and absentminded as always, but she’s one of the best students in the Support Course first year.
Eden's her friend, and usually drags her along to talk to the Hero Course. Rose likes hanging out with them, but is usually exhausted after spending too much time there. Rose, Todoroki and Kodai understand each other on a fundamental level, no need to speak.
Support Codename: Photographic Forger
(Get it? Forging like metal and copying art? What? What do you mean support codenames aren’t a thing?)
Hu: Metamorphosis
(Yearning for change; let the future always be brighter than the past)
At will, she can transform parts of her body into those of a giant butterfly. However, she becomes extremely tired if she uses the quirk too much.
+She can manifest large butterfly wings made of pure energy (they go through clothes because I said so). By default, they're neon green, but she can change their color at will, which can be useful for visual communication, among other applications. She can fly with these wings, and with training, she can choose to either fly straight and effectively, or fly with the erratic turbulence butterflies usually do, to make her movements harder to predict.
+She can manifest an extra set of arms under her standard two. These are also made of energy and can go through clothes (can you tell I have a grudge on certain women's quirks), but they always have a neon green outline and are see-through. Obviously useful.
+She can manifest compound eyes over her regular ones, though it's advised she closes her human baseline eyes before doing so. This grants her a 360ª field of vision, and the ability to see UV light.
+She can manifest antennae, granting her extra sensory abilities, mainly in smell and the ability to feel nearby disturbances in the air.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. She gets on extremely well with Yaoyorozu, Shoji, Tokoyami, and basically anyone else in that class who doesn’t shout all the time (so like three people), but she’s nice to everyone for the most part. Zither playing is a hobby, but she's obviously extremely good at it, and thus she was part of the Culture Festival band.
Hero Name: Lepidoptera
(I know that’s boring, but it sounds cool)
Eden: Clockwork
(Take your time; you will hear the clock chime again)
She can alter the flow of time on any inanimate object she touches, but only one object can be affected at a time! This effectively means she can slow down or speed up anything. However, whatever effect she applies, the opposite applies to her: she slows down when she speeds something up, and speeds up when she slows something down. She can’t fully reverse time. The gears in her eyes turn when she uses her quirk.
She typically uses Clockwork to test out support gear, slowing them down to observe how they work and what issues they may have, or speeding them up to see how they react to prolonged use.
UA Support Course student, class 1-H. Hatsume worries her sometimes, but they have a ‘blast’ (or several) designing support items together! Their energy cannot be contained when they’re in the mood. Eden establishes a great relationship with Arei after a tumultuous start, but she also gets along well with several Hero Course first years and of course Rose and Levi.
Support Codename: Hourglass
Nico: Mammalian Encyclopedia
(In the end, we are naught but animals)
They can change parts of their body (but never their entire body) to match any mammal they’re aware of! Well, except other primates for some reason. However, their mental faculties and instincts change to more closely match those of the species they transform into, so it’s generally recommended they stick to highly intelligent and non-aggressive species. Their favorites are felines of any kind, however. Also, they get permanent cat ears and whiskers, even if they completely change their head to match another animal.
Their main weapon is using bear paws and jaguar teeth; you sort of don’t need much more than that usually, and those two are intelligent enough to where Nico can suppress predatory instincts from the jaguar. However, their repertoire is immense; horses for kicks, lynx for vision, bats for echolocation and flight, cheetahs for speed (though they have to be particularly careful not to destroy their energy reserves), the list goes on.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. They instantly got along with Koda for obvious reasons, and quite quickly got adopted into the 'quiet kid' club. Great friends with Hu, of course. In fact, she helped them figure out how to fly as a bat, since they always struggled with that. Bats aren't very smart.
They hate water, a lot, but they’re actually one of the best in sea rescues alongside Asui. The orca may just be their best transformation, even though since they can’t do full body and always end up looking more like a mermaid. Still, echolocation, strength, speed and practically unimpaired mind make them the only real threat to Asui in water exercises. They also have hippos for lower water level floods, but they’re… dumber. And way too aggressive to be viable for long.
Actually, aggressiveness is a real use. They never go too far with classmates, but they have gotten quite close to killing quite a few villains. The rumors they even tried to kill 1-B student Ace at one point don’t help them.
Sometimes gets the urge to eat Nedzu. Nedzu is slightly scared.
Hero Name: Fauna
Whit: Cupid’s Arrow
(A match made in heaven)
By kissing the air, he can choose to shoot an arrow made of energy, its tip shaped like a heart and leaving a heart shaped trail. When two arrows impact two different targets (be it objects or people), they will be attracted to one another as if pulled by a magnetic force. The effect will wear off when the targets touch, and they will be immune to Cupid’s Arrow for a few seconds after. Overuse of this quirk can lead to acute heartaches and arrhythmia, and may have permanently damaged Whit’s cardiovascular system there is nothing Whit’s classmates have to worry about, he’s perfectly fine :)
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. One of the driving forces for the two classes being closer than in canon BNHA. They still love to bother Charles the most, but when he’s not around, Monoma, Kuroiro, Shiozaki, Ace, among others, are great targets for puns and teasing. Whit is dubbed a Common Sense King alongside Awase, Tsuburaba, Kaibara and Rin.
Whit may or may not have a cousin with a quirk which magnetizes people based on gender. This cousin may or may not have disappeared a few years before Whit got to UA. Magne from the League of Villains may or may not have had a cousin with a quirk related to shooting heart-tipped arrows by blowing kisses. The Summer Camp attack may or may not have gotten awkward when Magne and Whit met.
Hero Name: Cupid
J: Lights Show
(The brightest lights cast the darkest shadows)
She can perfectly control photons in a radius around her! Sounds simple, but she’s essentially a walking flash-bang, smoke screen, flare system, etc. However, she mostly fights by concentrating light at her fingertips and launching lasers intense enough to create small explosions where they strike; and perhaps even more impressively, by manipulating photons to act as particles for long enough to work as solid matter. Weapons of pure light are one thing, but her mobility and defense thanks to light platforms and shields is impressive.
UA Hero Course Recommendation student, class 1-A (they get three recommendation students per class because I said so). She was recommended by her mom, pro hero Mariabella Rosales, but she hides this from her classmates as long as possible. Yaoyorozu and Todoroki knew, but didn’t say anything until the Sports Festival, where her true name was called out in front of everyone, and all eyes where on her.
Despite her quirk and lineage, she actually wants to go underground. She likes Aizawa pretty much instantly, even after the quirk apprehension fiasco. The same way canon J doesn’t like egocentric actors, BNHA AU J hates flashy heroes. She even has a grudge against All Might, though it slowly goes away as she spends more time around him. Her and Todoroki get along from shared Endeavor hate, though.
She is one of the people most on board with Xander’s idea of revolution of the system, since she’s seen the flaws firsthand. Lots of political drama ends up having her orbiting around, but always just out of the public eye.
Hero Name: J
(She doesn’t see a point of making it more complicated than that, since she’ll be underground and all that)
Veronika: Living Nightmare
(But is it selfish to have fun?)
She can cause people in a certain, mid-range radius around her to hallucinate vividly. Auditory hallucinations are the least energy consuming for her to do, but visual and olfactory aren’t exactly difficult either. Her eyes swirl wildly as she uses her quirk (think trial 1 Komaeda reveal), and her vision even becomes blurry if she puts in a lot of effort at once.
If she doesn’t concentrate, the hallucinations default to horrifying effects such as harsh whispers, large shadows, monsters, bright eyes, darkness, blood, death, etc. If she actually tries, she can fine tune them to be extremely effective. Sounds of opponent teammates shouting for help, “cloning” herself to confuse her opponent, temporarily blinding them with quick flashes of nothing but black, not to mention what she can do if she learns any trauma her opponent may have.
When her quirk awakens, she can even induce tactile hallucinations, though they take much, much more effort than the others. However, it’s worth it; she can make her opponents hallucinate being burned alive, frozen to death, electrocuted, stabbed, all of which they could actually feel. Fighting Veronika becomes nearly impossible without inhuman pain tolerance or a quirk to help resist her tactile hallucinations.
Overuse causes migraines first, but quickly causes her eyes to bleed and for her to cough up blood. Veronika has ridiculously high pain tolerance in this universe, though, so she can fight effectively even while in excruciating pain. But her quirk has… another drawback.
You see, her quirk causes her to hallucinate as well, if she doesn’t use it for a while. This gets especially bad when she’s bored. She despises boredom so much, her body instinctively gives itself horrible hallucinations just to entertain itself. But, these hallucinations can be so vivid, Veronika can act irrationally when afflicted by them.
Had she gotten help early in her life, she really could have lived normally. Her hallucinations would have been manageable, and she may have been just another horror-obsessed girl.
The problem is, she didn’t get the help she needed. Mental health protection systems in the BNHA universe are notoriously lacking. So… you know Toga’s backstory? That the lack of systemic support for her led her to lose control and murder a classmate? Veronika ended up doing something similar to her, if not worse. I’ll let you imagine the details.
The point is, after she broke definitively, society certainly wouldn’t accept her back, so she ran away and became and outcast… until she found Stain’s ideals interesting.
Yep! In this AU, Veronika ends up as a member of the League of Villains! Not because of her condition, mind you, but because it wasn’t treated properly. You didn’t think all these people would be on the heroes’ side, did you?
Well, if you were worried about Veronika’s quirk being overpowered, there’s your explanation. LoV members tend to get stronger quirks to balance out their lower numbers.
Besties with Toga and Twice, naturally. They bond over the systemic failures which led them to where they are. Toga... realistically may end up developing a crush once she sees Veronika crying and coughing blood after using her quirk. It may be reciprocated.
She always analyses the League’s trauma, as expected, and it seriously pisses Dabi off. Although he’s lowkey scared she’s eventually going to find out his identity. She receives the most disintegration threats from Shigaraki, and she wears that as a badge of honor. Spinner is scared of her. Guess who forces the League to watch horror movie marathons?
She had never intentionally killed before joining the League, which causes her to hesitate with it in her first few missions. But after the Meta Liberation arc, when her quirk awakens, she gets rid of the hesitation. Keep in mind, she's much stronger than she looks. She also briefly joined the Haissaikai when Toga and Twice were sent there too, which made the raid a lot more horrifying than it originally was.
Hero Villain Name: Phobia
David: Starry-Eyed
(A beacon of hope)
His pupils turn into stars when he smiles. :)
UA General Education student, class 1-C. He’s the most famous person in the class, as he still creates his motivational speeches in this universe. After all, his quirk is pretty inoffensive, all things considered. Teruko doesn’t like him, and Shinso thinks there’s something off about him as well, but everyone else in his class adores him.
Although he didn’t make it past the race in the Sports Festival, it did make the Hero Course notice him, and a few of the students there, such as Xander, recognized him. He hangs out with the Hero Course a lot after that, and they love him there. Kirishima, Tetsutetsu, Kaminari, Midoriya, Hagakure, Fukidashi, Shoda, and more; all big fans of his speeches.
Overall, he just lives a pretty standard life.
Hero Name: N/A
…
But you don’t really believe all that, do you?
David: Starstruck
(An abyss of despair)
His pupils turn into stars when he smiles. If someone looks him in the eyes while his quirk is active, they will believe anything he says with absolutely no question, as long as it doesn’t contradict their core beliefs too much. Admittedly, that limitation is so vague, not even David has any idea where the limit actually is, but he works around it. The afflicted person must be using both their eyes when looking at David’s for the quirk to work, but Starstruck can even fool other quirks such as Lie Detector. (Credit to @accirax for the idea!)
The reason his quirk is officially listed under ‘Starry-eyed’ is that he fooled the quirk registry people into thinking his quirk really was nothing more than his pupils turning into stars. He originally did it so people wouldn’t be scared of him, but now it’s a good way to cover his… less than legal practices.
Key member of the Meta Liberation Army, later Paranormal Liberation Front. He plays a similar role to Trumpet, an important public figure who secretly helps the MLA. Officially, he helps because he wants people to reach their “full potential”, motivational speaker and all that. His real motivations are unknown, but some speculate he simply wants to be as famous and appreciated as possible, and to do that he needs to be able to reveal what his quirk really is without much backlash, thus he needs Meta Liberation. So he just wants people's love.
(Please, it's so hard to figure out David's motivations-)
He was not present during the MLA-LoV war, however, as his position as an UA alum was deemed too important to risk just for a little bit of backup in a war the MLA was sure to win anyways. When that doesn’t happen, David tries to talk to the League members now in the PLF, but they’re never allowed to see eye to eye for some reason.
(Unbeknownst to him, All for One had been interested in his quirk since it got originally diagnosed, before he made the consultants change it. The eyeless AfO quickly realized he had no use for Starstruck, but David was deemed enough of a threat for the big bad to tell Kurogiri and Shigaraki about the quirk)
David tries to manipulate as many people as he can in Gen Ed, and is annoyed because Shinso and Teruko don't seem to be affected by Starstruck for some reason. He suspects Shinso's quirk gives him a natural resistance to brainwashing-like quirks, but he can't figure out why Teruko is unaffected.
(Turns out, it's actually Teruko's prosopagnosia fucking with the quirk)
However, his ideals are shaken by UA, more specifically, Xander. See, because Xander only has one eye, he’s immune to Starstruck, yet he still likes David. And the way he speaks of his ideals, with such unshakable conviction…
Well. Let’s say if Xander’s revolution ever needs a man in the PLF, someone might be willing to help.
MLA Codename: Megaphone
Min: A+
(Mistakes are meant to be corrected)
She can instantly spot any mistakes anyone in her sight makes, and her quirk also warns her whenever something she’s about to do is a mistake. However, for something to be considered a mistake, she must be able to properly explain why it’s a mistake, meaning she has needed to study a ridiculous amount of battle theory for her quirk to activate in any given fight. To accommodate for the overwhelming amount of information she receives at any given moment, her mind also processes information significantly faster than the average.
(Does this quirk make any sense? No? I don’t care)
As her quirk isn’t physical, she relies on more basic weapons and fighting styles. She is regretfully not allowed a gun yet (even though her quirk says it’s a mistake not to let her have it), but she does have a powerful and compact paintball gun for now. She’s surprisingly effective with it, seeing as she literally cannot miss (her quirk warns her when she would, and she adjusts). Other weapons include a taser, hyper density seals (inspired by Nighteye), grappling gun, retractable baton, and a switchblade she keeps hidden in a pen.
Don’t let her simple fighting style deceive you, though. If there is a single flaw in your strategy, she will exploit it to the maximum. If you attack her and leave a way to dodge, she will. There is no easy way to fool her or distract her, as she makes no mistakes (usually). However, forcing her into a situation where she has to make a mistake (all options are bad), she can be quickly overwhelmed and frozen in indecision.
UA Hero Course recommendation student, class 1-B. No one knows who recommended her, and she’s weirdly tight-lipped about it. Todoroki suspects it was Nedzu (no one believes him, but he may have a point). She’s one of the main reasons classes A and B have such a good relationship, as she deemed it a mistake to antagonize each other. That said, with her as a tutor, class B tends to massively outperform class A, as all their mistakes are quickly corrected.
Elected class rep originally, but she deemed it a mistake to let anyone but Kendo take the position, so Min is the vice-rep. She gets along with everyone in her class, but particularly likes to talk about dinosaurs with Tokage, philosophy with Shiozaki and Yanagi, mushrooms with Komori, literature with Shishida and Kuroiro, and especially insects with Kamakiri and Yanagi again. She’s very knowledgeable.
Min has a secret, however. Although she usually acts as if her quirk is all-knowing, that’s only because doubting her quirk is deemed a mistake… by her quirk. Because of that, most people don’t question it either. However, Min herself doubts her quirk in more complex topics such as the Hero system, and even disagrees with it at times. Her quirk is weirdly obsessed with the status quo, and Min suspects that’s where it gets a lot of things wrong.
However, publicly she never defies her quirk, which makes her clash with Xander pretty much constantly. He’s the only one who absolutely does not trust A+ on anything but the most objective facts. Min sort of admires that, even though it usually ends in Xander doing stupid things she had warned him were stupid in the first place.
(Other times, though, Min finds herself correcting the mistakes in Xander’s arguments not to prove him wrong, but to make the arguments stronger. Maybe they agree on more than they realize)
Hero Name: Straight Ace
Arturo: Perfectionist
(Imperfection isn’t ugliness; some have yet to learn this)
By closing one of his eyes, Arturo can immediately spot imperfections. His left eye spots aesthetic imperfections, his right practical imperfections. One of them is significantly more useful for combat, I’ll let you guess which one. This applies to both objects and people; with his right eye, he can spot both structural weak points in buildings and things like robots, as well as weak areas of a person’s body, quirk or fighting style. This does not require previous knowledge, which actually makes it a powerful aid for A+. Arturo finds the weaknesses, Min knows how to exploit them.
Like Min, his fighting style is quite basic, but centered around intelligence. He also carries a taser and a short-range sharp weapon on the form of a scalpel (no one but him knows why the hell he chose a scalpel), but he prefers to use long range weapons so as to not risk disfigurement in combat as much. Guns aren’t elegant enough for him, so he has a wrist mounted crossbow he uses to shoot specialized arrows, equipped with a laser pointer to shoot precisely. It seems somewhat inoffensive, until you remember he knows exactly where to shoot to make it hurt as much as possible.
(Listen, I didn’t know what to do with him, alright? This is the best I got)
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. After all, since Min helped tone down the class rivalry and Monoma is actually normal, class B needed a few more mentally unstable people. Arturo considers heroism (read: fame and glory) inherently beautiful, but he still thinks all his classmates are ugly as sin. Yaoyorozu and J post-reveal he would consider beautiful, but, well, I put him in class B for a reason.
Apart from that, he considers a few of his teachers as “beautiful people”, namely Midnight, Present Mic, and All Might. Yes, even after the Kamino fight. All Might just has that effect on people. Other examples are Edgeshot, Miruko, Ryukyu, Hawks, the list goes on.
You may be wondering how his idea of conventional beauty interacts with heteromorphic transformations. The answer’s simple: even people who greatly diverge from the human baseline can be beautiful, though most are no prettier than the average. Kamui Woods is an example of someone Arturo considers beautiful, for instance.
In fact, the most aesthetically perfect person Arturo knows is Wash. No, you don’t get to ask.
Naturally, most of his classmates dislike or straight up hate him at first, but it smooths out over the course of the year. Mainly because Kendo is just too insistent on everyone getting along, and Arturo has enough self-preservation instinct not to mess with her. Also, Tokage and Honenuki have enough connections with the hero world that he decides to put up with them, ugly as they are.
Shiozaki still periodically warns him he’ll go to hell, but he doesn’t really care. The Common Sense Kings constantly fuck with him because he gives great reactions. He also has a surprising amount of medical knowledge, which proves extremely useful, enough so that a lot of his classmates are able to put up with him when Min’s not around.
This medical knowledge also inspires Yanagi to show him movies like ‘Human Centipede’. Because Veronika isn’t here, but he still can’t escape the horror fanatics.
Oh, yeah, Veronika. They meet in Summer Camp, and she almost kills him, but hesitates and doesn't. She haunts his dreams after that, but something about her makes him want to… save her. Or something. I like Verturo, okay? Even though Toga might kill that ship.
Hero Name: Utopia
(That good enough? Not really, but we’re going with it)
Levi: Thread Weaver
(Weaving a protective net, so that no one has to suffer)
He can control threads and fibers near him with immaculate precision! However, they move rather slowly, and the quirk has a strict limit on how much material can be affected at a time. Essentially Best Jeanist’s Fiber Master, except weaker but more precise. No relation to the hero, though.
He can use this quirk to interweave regular fabric with protective fibers far more effectively than any other human or any machine could, making the hero costumes he designs particularly sturdy and durable.
UA Support Course student, class 1-H. His mysterious, dark past is the reason he didn’t pursue heroism, although he still wanted to protect people. With his quirk, he decided the best way to protect others would be by protecting the heroes with essentially armored costumes.
People originally went to him just to reinforce their costumes, but Levi is still the Ultimate Personal Stylist. That means he has better fashion sense than anyone in UA, especially the Hero Course students. Word of his skill quickly spreads, and soon he becomes the consultant for practically all things hero costumes. If you want a gadget or complex mechanical item, you can ask Hatsume or Eden or Rose, but for costumes, you go to this guy.
No matter how good someone’s costume is, not only can Levi reinforce it, but also give advice on how to make it look better. Sometimes he simply reassured the customer their costume is excellent, as was the case with Komori, Kaminari, Kendo, among others. Other times, they aren’t that interested in aesthetics, such was the case of Tokoyami, Kuroiro, Jirou and J. Occasionally, people take his good-natured advice as a personal insult, like Bakugo, Kamakiri and Ace (though Ace still listens, at least). And every now and then…
Every now and then, Levi wants to strangle whoever the hell approved some of these costumes. This king will give Momo and Toru actually decent costumes, you will not stop him.
Support Codename: Needle and Thread
Teruko: Desperate Misfortune
(She makes everything worse)
A passive, reality bending ability, which causes exceedingly unlikely events to constantly occur around her. It follows seven core axioms.
The events originated from this quirk will always be considered extremely bad luck by the user. This can range from simply making Teruko prone to paper cuts all the way to seriously endangering her life.
The quirk acts on individual instances. Once an incident occurs as a result of this quirk, another unlucky event won’t happen until an indeterminate amount of time has passed.
The effects of this quirk cannot be predicted. It does not follow a proper logic, so no amount of analysis will be able to prepare for it. Even other quirks like Foresight are unable to see its effects ahead of time.
The quirk is pervasive and affects everyone around Teruko. In other words, when she’s around, unfortunate events can happen to everyone in the general area.
It comes without warning. An unfortunate event can happen without Teruko noticing, leading to a seeming “stacking” of bad luck. For example, if she gets invited to a summer camp that’s about to be attacked by villains, the invitation itself may be considered bad luck, opening the possibility of further misfortune happening after the attack begins without interfering with axiom 2.
The quirk is immutable, and cannot be interacted with. It cannot be erased, destroyed, rewound out of existence, taken, given away, copied, analyzed, among many other things.
Teruko Tawaki cannot die, no matter what. Upon being put in a perilous situation, all other axioms will be nullified until Teruko’s life is no longer at risk. Instead, her fortune will swing the other way, and the universe itself will tilt on its axis to keep her alive. Lightning, earthquakes, whirlwinds, meteorite strikes, spontaneous combustion of anyone attacking her, the list goes on. Unlikely, even outright impossible events will happen simultaneously until Teruko’s continued survival is guaranteed. In these situations, her luck is simply divine.
UA General Studies Course student, class 1-C. Teruko, a hero, with her luck? Yeah, no chance. However, that doesn’t mean she escapes the plot. She somehow manages to be at the USJ and Summer Camp incidents, hell, she was visiting Kamino the day of All Might’s retirement and almost got killed by All for One. She was kidnapped by the yakuza at one point, and was about to be killed by them. Guess when Nighteye conveniently found a guy who he could Foresight the Shie Haissaikai’s location out of. She cannot escape her protagonist role, evidently.
Incidentally, that means she ends up hanging out with the Hero Course more than Gen Ed, since she manages to be in the middle of every traumatic thing that happens to them. Min’s A+ doesn’t see it as a mistake to hang out with her, meaning the students of 1-A and 1-B are the only people who feel comfortable having her around.
(Teruko doesn’t say it, but she very much thinks A+ is wrong about her. She blames axiom 6 for not letting her quirk be properly analyzed by Min’s)
They mostly interact once the dorms are formed, and they get to spend the days together. However, it’s usually better to keep her away from Bakugo and Todoroki, since they’re essentially walking fire hazards together. Midoriya is fascinated by her quirk, since it’s nothing like anything he’d ever seen before. Shiozaki thinks demons are at fault and has tried to exorcise her, repeatedly. Kuroiro and Yanagi are convinced it’s a curse, and want to study it. Among other hijinks. Teruko would never admit it, but she’s really happy when she’s around the Hero Course (and there isn’t a villain attack going on).
Gen Ed mostly stay away from her, unfortunately. They don’t have Min’s quirk to assure them it’s alright to hang out with Teruko. One of the only exceptions is Shinso. They have a similar sense of humor and bond over “villain quirk” related trauma, and Shinso isn’t too bothered by the bad luck. As stated previously, Teruko is also immune to David’s Starstruck due to her prosopagnosia, so she doesn’t trust how easily everyone seems to adore the guy.
Hero Name: N/A
And that’s it! The main cast is covered!
…
…
…
We’re missing someone, aren’t we?
Mai: Blooming Hope
(She makes everything better)
(I ain’t slick, but I try to be)
She can make every plant around her grow exponentially in size, simply by raising her left arm. The plant’s shape and characteristics can be altered, so Mai can, for example, make grass grow into a field of vines, barberries and poison ivy. She can then reverse the effects, leaving the plants exactly as they were. The tattoo on her left arm is a mutation, and glows when she uses her quirk. She can also make flowers grow out of this tattoo, and then turn them into any useful plant she desires.
Although it may seems similar to Shiozaki’s quirk, Mai’s range is far lower and the strength of the vines she can create is much weaker. However, the versatility of being able to use more than just vines balances it out.
Particularly effective in grassy or mossy environments. Overuse will lead to severe dehydration, and in a worst case scenario, small, non-toxic plants may grow inside her body and cause all sorts of issues.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. She gets along with absolutely everyone, Bakugo doesn’t even shout at her after a while. Elected class rep, with Yaoyorozu as vice-rep. The other main reason classes A and B are closer than in canon, as she likes to spend time with everyone she can. She wants the best for everyone, and she’s deeply involved in whatever Xander’s plans for revolution are. Although she usually just makes compromises between Min and him for the actual planning phases.
Since she forgives everyone, she wants to save the League of Villains just as much as their victims. She is the model of what a perfect hero is meant to be.
Had Midoriya not existed, she would have received One for All.
…
She didn’t foresee the consequences.
Hero Name: Flora
(After she chose the name, Nico asked if they could match. Of course, Mai said yes)
Now that we've covered all the students, I did a recount and found something interesting. 5 DRDT characters went to 1-B, and 6 went to 1-A. You could acommodate this by having 26 student classes and adding someone to 1-B... or you can make 25 student classes and kick someone out of 1-A. And if you know BNHA fanfic, you know who's getting kicked out (hint: Mineta). I see this as an absolute win!
...

M-MonoTV?!: High Fidelity
(Am I a bear, a cat, a TV? Well, I’m actually a dog!)
MonoTV is actually a dog which was experimented on. Humans gave him a quirk which changed his appearance and made him as smart as a normal person, but no more. He’s from the same laboratory as Nedzu, and resents the principal for escaping without him.
He starts out as a petty criminal, but no matter what the police and heroes try, he always escapes prison. He usually causes a major breach when he does, so they don’t want to send him to Tartarus until they understand what the hell he does to escape.
His crimes grow with time, but the heroes are never too worried, since he’s too incompetent to really be a threat. Some examples of his crimes include:
He let a sludge villain out of prison the day Midoriya met All Might.
He broke the UA gate early in the year.
He robbed a store the day of the USJ incident, slowing down All Might and running down his three hours of hero work.
He was spotted talking to Stain before he attacked Native, presumably telling the villain the location of the hero.
He introduced Giran to a blood obsessed girl, a man with severe burn wounds, and a girl with a hallucination quirk.
Overhaul was spotted following him right before he met Twice.
He helped La Brava hack into UA the day of the Culture Festival.
He watched Endeavor fight a Nomu right after becoming Number One.
He helped the MLA kidnap Giran.
And more...
(You get the idea, right?)
Villain Name: MonoTV
—————-—————-—————-—————-—————-—————-----
And there we go! God, I was just supposed to do quirks, how did I end up writing so much? Anyways, that’s the basis of my DRDT-BNHA crossover AU. I don’t know whether or not I’ll return to it, seeing as I actually had quite a bit of fun writing this. If you made it this far, that’s impressive! You get the honorary badge of being quirky. Take care!

Hello, and welcome to Izuku the Bunny! This is an art and text based ask/roleplay blog centered around Izuku Midoriya!
You can ask Izuku just about anything within reason (IE, no nsfw, and nothing that's unnecessarily cruel and mean, a real person runs this blog, I have to read everything you send in!) but Izuku isn't guaranteed to know the answer, or want to answer in the first place! You're free to get Izuku onto tangents, ask about how his life is going, ask about how his friends are doing, ect ect! But again, keep in mind, Izuku isn't always guaranteed to know the answer, or want to answer that question!
This blog is a canonverse blog that will be story driven to an extent, but otherwise, you're free to chat with him and interact with him! This blog starts with Izuku starting UA. Keep that in mind! Any sort of ask that alludes to things that haven't happened yet will be ignored, or potentially saved for later! (However, just because that's the blog's starting point, doesn't necessarily mean that's where we are in his story currently! There will, also, eventually, be a moment where we are post canon. The story won't stop, but it will no longer be following canon events, and will become it's own story!)
The way time moves will NOT be real time and it will NOT be consistent! It's a vibes kinda deal!
Additionally, there will occasionally be events! You'll know them when you see them!
Occasionally, I'll post art without any asks attached, to move the story along a little bit!
Also, at this time (this may change in the future) I do NOT interact with other blogs! There's a mostly set story this blog follows, including things that involve characters outside of Izuku! As a result, interacting with other blogs, especially canon characters, is a bit out of the question unfortunately, sorry!
I hope you all enjoy!
(btw, click here to read the story thus far in order!)
As a note, please understand I draw all characters with my headcanons in mind. If you don't like how I draw any characters, especially Izuku, I literally do not care I'm having fun and I think you should learn how to have fun too maybe.
Some tags and what they mean:
Mod Post - Out of character posts from yours truly! Things like important updates such as any upcoming hiatuses, any clarifications anyone asks for, ect
Mod Tags: - Any out of character tags will take place after this tag! So, if there's something I need to add at the end of an in character post, you'll find it here!
Story Mode - Any in character posts, including asks, by ANY character, that are part of the main plot/story of this blog! This includes things like Izuku just giving information about himself or his friends and life! This MAY occasionally include posts that aren't necessarily in character, but are plot important! (You'll know them when you see them!)
Bunny Box - Asks that are answered in character by Izuku
Answering Machine - Asks that are answered in character by anyone who ISN'T Izuku*
Bunnevent: - The catchall event tag, there will always be a tag following this tag with the name of the event! Does NOT include Takeovers that are plot relevant. This allows people who are only interested in the plot to filter out events that don't move the story along. These events are solely for fun and can be skipped over if you're only here for the story! For a bit of meta, events happen when the mod doesn't have the energy for something super story driven!
Filling In - The catchall Takeover Event* tag, for when a character other than Izuku is temporarily running the blog. Takeovers are sometimes plot relevant, but Takeovers that are NOT plot relevant will be tagged with the normal event tag, as well as the Takeover tag.
Scrawny Motherfucker With A Cool Hairstyle - Any in character posts from Izuku, including asks
Let's Go Out With A Bang - Any in character posts from Katsuki, including asks*
Oh Oh Oh Rev Your Engines Up - Any in character posts from Tenya, including asks*
Armor The Air Lock - Any in character posts from Ochaco, including asks*
And Stop And Go And Hot And Cold - Any in character posts from Shouto, including asks*
*These tags are exclusive to Takeover Events, these characters are NOT always available for questions, and are only available during certain points in the story and during certain events.

In Your Shadow: Chapter 4: Dreams of Your Own

Previous Chapter: Next Chapter:
Shadow normally liked to be alone with his thoughts. In Green Hill, he mostly kept to himself. Sure, he interacted with the others there with varying degrees of enjoyment… Rouge could pull him out of his hiding places with ease, and Amy often came to visit him whether he wanted her to or not. Big was quiet company if he ever felt like going fishing. Knuckle’s abrasive personality tended to collide with his own, and Tails had the annoying habit of believing Sonic could do no wrong. Still, his self-imposed isolation back home was just that. Self imposed.
Now that he had no choice but to sit by himself and wait for Sonic to rectify this mess, he was going stir-crazy. He needed to be doing something other than trying to see through the blur of the portals to make sure Sonic wasn’t fucking around. He couldn’t help but hope Star got back soon… she’d been pleasant company. And another Ultimate Lifeform, a connection to Maria-
It was hard to draw that line for himself, that her Maria wasn’t his. Just like Nine wasn’t Tails, and he was sure Sonic was making a mistake trusting him like he was… but Star was someone different, not a fragment of someone he knew back home. It was easier to differentiate with her. And she’d been interesting, eager to please and happy to help. It was almost a pity that when the world was set to rights she’d probably disappear for good.
There was a pulse from the red gate and he looked around, getting to his feet when he spotted a figure floating over. “Sonic?”
“I’m a little offended.” Star’s voice laughed, coming into better view once she wasn’t so brightly backlighted by the gate she’d come out of. She landed on the rock he was on, face to face, and smiled. “There’s no way I’m that annoying.”
Shadow huffed out a laugh and looked her over. “New clothes?”
“Maria insisted I wear armor.” She nodded, holding her arms out for his inspection. She was wearing a white bodysuit that fit her trim little figure quite nicely, overtop which sat a red bulletproof vest with a gold star on it. She had red guards on her legs from the knees down and over the top of her feet. Her forearm and hand guards matched, and when she turned he could see the cutouts for her back spines and tail. “It’s light enough to move around in, so I can still learn how to fight.”
Shadow nodded, walking around her in a circle. “Good, you haven’t forgotten. Fists up.”
“I don’t forget anything.” Immediately, she followed instructions. Badly, but she followed them. Her form was awful, she’d be knocked off her feet with a single swing, and her thumbs were tucked into her fists. “Like this?”
“Absolutely not.” Shadow snorted, walking up behind her. One of his feet pushed hers further apart. “Weight on your back leg. That’s better, lower center of gravity. Otherwise, you’ll get knocked down. Don’t hold your hands like that, you’ll break your thumbs the first time you hit something solid. There you go.” He nudged her elbows up, guarding her sides, adjusted her hands for her, and got her where she could passably protect herself. “There. That’s better.”
Star nodded, expression set as she committed the position she was in to memory. “Got it.”
Shadow stepped back up in front of her. “Now, let’s try a spar. You remember what I did when Sonic was here last time.”
She nodded again, bracing herself. “I’m ready.”
And she hit the ground.
Again.
And again.
Shadow wasn’t showing her any mercy, but to her credit she didn’t ask for it either. She just got up every time he sent her flying, wiping her face on her arm before getting back into the guard position no matter how many times he put her on the ground. And they went at it for hours. She’s brave, I’ll give her that. Shadow was a little proud of her, especially once she started being able to read his moves. She ducked, swinging back as his foot went over her head, and managed to catch him in the ribs. This time he went down hard. “Not bad.” He sat up with a groan. “You hit hard enough, at least.”
Star smiled, sinking to her knees. “Oh good.”
“We’ll take a break.” He scooted over next to her and leaned back, arms crossed behind his head. “You did pretty well.”
Star flopped over beside him. “Thank you.” She looked up at the floating rocks around them, expression softening. “I know it’s terrible being trapped here… but it’s kind of pretty.”
“Hmm. You should see the sky from the beach in Green Hills. The moon’s broken, so it sort of glows.”
“The moon’s broken?” Star blinked. “Why?”
“I broke it, technically.” He sighed. “I spent 50 years in stasis, after the ARK raid. When I woke up, I went for revenge. It was only because Amy reminded me of Maria’s wish that I didn’t destroy the entire Earth.”
“Oh…” Star’s voice trailed off for a moment, turning her head to look at him. “Maria got revenge too.” She said softly. “Only… nobody stopped her. She wiped out all of GUN… with a weapon she made from the shard. I did more research into it when I was grounded, after she told me.”
Shadow turned his head towards her, their noses only a few inches apart. “Even her friend Abe Tower?”
“Every single one of them.” Star just nodded. “I guess… there wasn’t anyone to remind her of you. Maybe that’s why she made me… she doesn’t really listen to me, though.”
“Is that why you’re trying so hard?” He raised an eyebrow.
She squirmed. “... maybe. I’ve had so many ideas over the years of things I thought would make her happy. I followed her every instruction, excelled in the lessons she taught me, learned every skill she’d allow… but her smile never reached her eyes. She never looked at me like she looked at you in the recordings… like she was really happy. So I thought, if I could make the planet beautiful again then maybe that would work. That’s when I started sneaking out, doing the masked vigilante shtick.”
“A vigilante that can’t fight.” He snorted.
“I’m telekinetic. I just needed to stay out of range.” She grumbled. “And I can liquify myself into shadows, or turn into a living flashbang. I’m versatile.”
“Not enough. I’ll show you how to spin dash after you catch your breath. If I had a Chaos Emerald, I could show you more. But when I get it back, it’ll be when this is over…” He paused. “I… don’t know what will happen to you after that.”
“You told Sonic that Nine wasn’t his real friend… do you think all of us from the other worlds aren’t real?” She asked softly.
“Maybe real isn’t the best word for it.” He sat up, and Star followed suit. “But you’re not the same. Sonic can’t treat Nine as if he’s Tails and expect someone with a vastly different life experience to behave the same. Just like your Maria isn’t the same as mine was. Even if she was, fifty years have passed. She’s a different person than the little girl I knew.”
Star looked around the void around them, expression faltering. “Would it be so bad, to let different versions of the same people into your life? My Maria would love you just as much as yours did.”
“My Maria wanted me to be guardian of the Earth. My version of Earth.” Shadow shook his head, looking up at the shattered sky. “I can’t abandon it, even if I wanted to… that’s what it means to be the Ultimate Lifeform. To protect the world she left behind. That’s why I have to fix this, and I have to go back.”
Looking at him, with his eyes fixed ahead and a resigned slump of his shoulders, Star felt her resolve cracking. She’d been sure she could convince him to come back home with her, to make Maria happy by letting the three of them be together… but it was seeming less and less likely. She didn’t know what she was supposed to do if she failed, and he refused. What would Maria do, to keep their plan a success? What would Maria think, if Star failed her? It was the only goal she’d ever had, to not let her creator down…
“I’ve never had a big purpose like that. I was just supposed to make her happy, to keep her company.” Star hugged her knees. “I don’t know what I’ll do when she’s gone…”
“You have to find your own purpose. Something you can believe in, and devote yourself to for the rest of your life. And our lives are long, so you have to be sure.” He glanced over, startled to see her looking at him instead of the debris around them. “What?”
She smiled. “Oh, nothing. I was just thinking… you’re a lot smarter than I am. I never considered that my purpose was something I could… find. Rather than an assignment someone gave me.”
“I know the feeling.” He nodded, getting to his feet and offering her hand up. “C’mon, I’ll try to get you as many skills as I can, before things get put right.”
“Do you think the other worlds, like mine, will disappear?” She asked quietly. “That I won’t exist, once the Prism is put back together?”
“I don’t know.” There was real regret in his voice, and Star couldn’t even be upset at the idea of no longer existing. “But, until we have all the shards back in Ghost Hill, there’s no way to know. You still with me to fix it anyway?”
She put her hand in his and let him pull her to her feet, insides crumbling just a little bit further. “I’m with you, Shadow.”

Maria had been underground for a long, long time. She usually didn’t have any reason to interact with the surface, and even less inclination to do so. But… the whole Yolk was rattling all the way down the elevator, and she was in the middle of finishing her prismatic energy portal. Ivo and his many iterations of egotistical narcissism were disrupting her ability to work, and she was too close to the goal to have them mucking it all up.
She was going to have Shadow back, alongside Star, and keep both her beloved hedgehogs safe and sound for the rest of eternity. She was reasonably confident with enough time she could make herself as immortal as they were, with access back to the Prism shard. As long as she could work, anyway.
After significant swearing under her breath she debated climbing into the elevator with a plasma blaster and a silently lethal mood. Her cousin had been scared shitless of her for decades, after she’d single-handedly wiped GUN off the planet. It was their agreement not to bother each other, that they’d keep their hands off of Star and she wouldn't vaporize them into dust, but her patience was running thin today. Maybe she’d just scare them by appearing topside. She didn’t really like the idea of killing anyone anymore…
“Maria?” Star’s voice was soft on her wrist communicator. She’d given the hedgehog girl one before she’d taken off running again, warping out of the lab and back into the void with Shadow.
“Hi sweetheart. How’s everything going?” She tried to keep her own voice light and cheerful. Star would worry, sweet little thing.
“I don’t think the plan is going to work. He won’t leave his world… he says he has a responsibility to protect it.” Star didn’t sound happy.
“Well convince him, Star. You’re a pretty hedgehog, and the only other one of his kind in at least five realities. I’m sure you can bat those long eyelashes-”
“But… I don’t want to trick him, Maria.” Star cut her off. “I don’t want to hurt him.”
“Star.” Maria narrowed her eyes, looking at the communicator like she could glare at the girl. “You’ve only ever disobeyed me once, and do you remember what happened? Nearly killed by Eggforcers, captured by the Council? Follow my instructions. This is everything I’ve ever wanted, and you wanted it too before you left. Don’t put everything we’ve worked for in jeopardy. I thought you liked him.”
“I do. I just… he won’t be happy if we bring him back to New Yolk. His world needs him. But if we went back to his world with him-”
“Where GUN still exists? Absolutely not.” Maria scoffed. “Just stick to the plan, Star. Get the shards, and I’ll handle getting Shadow out of the void.”
“... alright.” Star didn’t sound like her usual, attentive self. She sounded miserable, worse than when she’d been grounded. Like it physically pained her to be a part of this… Maria would have felt guilty if she wasn’t so sure she was right. Shadow would come around once the three of them were together. They’d all be happy together, in a world they created entirely for themselves.
Maria sighed, pushing her goggles up her face and rubbing her eyes. “Doc, play the news. Is that rebellion still going on topside?”
“It appears so, Professor Robotnik. The rebels are closing in on the Yolk, with most of the city having been taken and Eggforcers disabled.” The little robot pulled up a video of children playing with broken robots in the streets above.
“They’ll storm the Yolk eventually, and I need to have this done by then.” She pushed her welding goggles back down. “If Star doesn’t lose her nerve… what is the Council up to, if they’re being beaten so badly?”
“They are raiding other realities for their shard fragments, with the intention of eventually terraforming all of the Shatterspaces in a similar way to the city districts, ma’am.”
Maria paused. “... they’ll ruin everything if they get their hands on too much Prism energy. I won’t be able to keep them in line, and I won’t be able to protect Shadow and Star. I need to get those shards from them.”
“That would require going to the surface, Professor.”
Maria glanced at the door of the lab, which led out to the atrium and elevator. “.... I haven’t been up there since Star was born…”
“Then you must decide if you are willing to do so now, Professor.”
Maria bit her lip, foot starting to bounce. Was she? It seemed so silly to be anxious about it, but it had been such a long time. On the other hand… Shadow and Star were so close.
She could do it for them.

“You’re getting the hang of the spin dash.” Shadow nodded with approval as Star bounced and landed at his feet, unfolding with a laugh.
“Oh, come on. I deserve a little more credit than that.” She looked up at him, sitting on her wagging tail. “It’s actually kind of fun, once you learn how to not get dizzy.”
He chuckled. “You did look funny stumbling all over the place.”
“Did you actually laugh? I think that’s a miracle in and of itself.” She got to her feet. He’d gotten more comfortable chatting with her, beyond instructions and banter. It felt almost like they really were becoming friends… which was making this so much harder.
Maria said stick to the plan. It’s the only way to make her happy. But… if I trick him into coming with us, he won’t be…
She’d never cared about anyone’s happiness but Maria’s before. Not even her own, but now… Shadow was fascinating. He was so strong and yet so damaged, a tough facade born to protect himself. She understood why he hissed and snapped at Sonic, who was so casual about the way he interacted with everything. His weren’t safe hands to lay a broken heart in… and Star couldn’t stop looking at her own hands, wondering if they could ever be. Or if they’d stop existing as soon as the shards were all together, and none of her anxiety would matter at all.
She didn’t understand how she just got him like this, but it seemed like she barely needed to look him in the eye to tell what he was feeling or thinking. She’d never felt like she understood anyone so well, or was understood herself. Not even with Maria. But Shadow? This little sliver of who knew how long she’d been here felt like a homecoming. He was talking to her, between little lessons. He had told her about his life on the ARK, in ways even Maria wouldn’t talk about. She could see little glimmers of what must be under the shell, of who he really was.
It hurts to lie to him.
“Shadow, I-” She was ready to throw the whole plan to the wind, reaching out for his arm, when a massive ship warped through the New Yolk gate.
“What the hell is that?” Shadow frowned.
“The council’s mothership.” Star blanched. “They’ve already gotten the Bozcage shard, and you launched Shadow back into the No-Place Sea…”
“Did he lose that shard too? That idiot.” Shadow rumbled.
“Maybe not. They’re probably going to pick up the smaller ships… maybe we can slow them down?” Star pulled him behind a passing rock as the ship got close, keeping him out of sight. He hadn’t had to tangle with the Council before, or grow up under the constant knowledge they were up above him, destroying the world. She couldn’t let him get hurt.
It struck her like a freight train to think that she wanted to protect him, not for Maria’s sake but for hers. The idea of anything happening to him made her feel sick to her stomach. Is this what he was talking about, finding my own purpose? Could he be a part of it?
“We’ll never be able to touch that ship, even with our powers.” He frowned, peeking around.
“But these big rocks are heavy enough to do damage to the engines. And we can handle any Eggforcers they send out to repair them. It’ll slow them down, at least.”
“I like how you think.” He nodded. “You break left. I’ll go right.”
“Okay. Be careful.” She couldn’t help but tug at his wrist gently. “Please.”
He nodded and took off, the jets from his shoes vanishing behind the large chunks of spiralling stone. Star’s ears drooped quietly as he vanished from sight, and she twisted behind a rock herself.
No matter what I do, I’ll lose him, won’t I? If I trap him, he’ll hate me. If I tell him the truth, he won’t trust me or Maria… and he’s still going to leave.
She hadn’t known him long enough for it to hurt so much. But it did. A goodbye loomed ahead, and the only way around it was to go with him, where Maria wouldn’t set foot. The idea of leaving her seemed even more impossible…
She shoved a chunk of stone at the mothership, taking out her pent up frustration out on a target worth destroying. None of this was fair. She’d finally met someone who might understand a fraction of who she was, and who presented a clear path towards the only goal she’d ever had… just to watch it crumble between her fingers. And she couldn’t even be angry about it, because he had a solid reason. An admirable reason… one that just made her stupid little crush more intense. And he would never even know, because she was no more than a passing moment in his life. A footnote, forgotten one day when his memories stretched across centuries instead of decades.
On the other side of the mothership, Shadow was lining up his own chunk of stone to kick that direction, mind wandering back to his partner in the endeavor.
Ever since she’d asked, days ago (or had it been? With no day or night it was hard to tell how much time had passed in the void) if she’d disappear, he’d been wondering about it himself. Was there a way to save her, someone who didn’t exist in their world, without damaging the realities?
Would it really be so bad, to bring her over? Her Maria too… there wouldn’t be a risk of two of them meeting, and Star said she’s grown woman now. It would be like a second chance… maybe? Or am I being hypocritical, to expect Sonic to not treat Nine like Tails but to try to make contact with another Maria.
He didn’t know how he felt about the Maria question, honestly. But Star… he wasn’t thrilled with the idea of finishing this up and never seeing her again. She was a unique person, and the only other Ultimate Lifeform he’d ever met. He was entranced by how she threw herself at everything, how she kept picking herself back up… even her devotion to her Maria was admirable. He hadn’t planned to like her so much, and in such a short time too.
She probably doesn’t feel the same way about it. I’m a means to an end, to save her reality. Simple as that.
He peeked around another rock to find her slamming one towards the Egg ship with her telekinesis, moving immediately back under cover after she had. From this angle, he could see she was falling into the guard stance he’d taught her… and he couldn’t help but be a little proud.
Atta girl.

Sonic snapped into the void almost right next to Star, looking miserable. “Heey…”
“Where’s the shard, hedgehog?” She frowned, flipping him upside down to see where he was hiding it. “You got the No Place one, right?”
“Uh…”
“Sonic!” She shook him by the shoulders, the blue hedgehog making a pitiful noise. “They’ve already got the New Yolk and Bozcage shards. Do you know how much damage they could do with three?”
“I know, I know!” He groaned. “I didn’t expect Dread to double cross me!”
“This is what Shadow was saying about Nine. You can’t treat them the same as the people from your world. The history isn’t the same.” She hissed, pushing him away from her.
Isn’t that what I’m asking Shadow to do? Pretend my Maria is the same as his…?
“Oh no.” Her expression dropped, looking up at the mothership as the Yolkamotive and Kraken reconnected to it. “Maria.”
Shadow rocketed over to them. “Where’s the shard, Sonic?”
“The Council got it. They’re headed back to New Yolk now.” Sonic pointed. “You guys slowed them down pretty good, it looks like.”
“I’ve got to get back to New Yolk then. If they have three shards, everything’s in danger.” Star chewed her lip anxiously. “There’s a very delicate peace between Maria and the Council, and they’re angry cowards. As soon as they have the upper hand, they’ll try to hurt her for keeping them scared this long. And even if they don’t, the Rebels will if they successfully storm the Yolk. The ARK2 is under it.” She explained, running anxious hands through her quills.
Shadow caught her wrist. “Don’t panic. Panic is how you make mistakes.” He said quietly, and she could tell he was speaking from experience. For a moment, she could almost imagine how panicked he must have been fifty years ago, running through the ARK1 with Maria’s hand in his. He hadn’t saved her, and if Star didn’t learn from what he was telling her now she might lose her Maria too.
Star nodded, swallowing hard. “Okay. I… I’ll try.” Her mind buzzed, trying to throw a plan together. She was smart, she could come up with a strategy on the fly, right? “I’ll get her out of the Yolk and run her here. Then I can help Sonic with the shards.” She pulled her communicator off her wrist and handed it to Shadow. “This is a direct line to her. Once I’ve got her, I’ll contact you through her communicator. Okay?”
He nodded, strapping the little device to his wrist. “Okay.”
She gave him a weak smile. “Let’s hope those fighting lessons pay off.” She took off, Sonic at her heels, and they jumped through the red gateway into New Yolk. She landed lightly next to a dumpster, just in time for Sonic to crash into it. “Do you ever land on your feet?”
“These are extenuating circumstances, Star.” He grumbled as he crawled out, and she flicked a banana peel off his head. “I swear I’m a lot cooler back home. I’m the big hero.”
“Are you sure? Because Shadow is giving off the hero of the day vibes… you are catastrophe.” She sighed.
“You totally have a crush on him.” He grinned, brushing himself off. “You wanna do the hedgehog carousel with him, don’t you?”
“I… don’t know what that means. But we don’t have time for this. We need to get to the Yolk.” She swatted at him, cheeks burning, and took off. He followed, catching up to her skating strides.
“You even rollerskate like him. Wow.” He teased. “You’re really down bad.”
“They’re frictionless rocket boots.” She grumbled, trying not to look at him. “And they were made by the same person… kind of. Mine are based on his from fifty years ago.”
“Just admit you like him.” Sonic smirked.
“If I didn’t need your help to save Maria, I would throw you off the Yolk.” She snapped. “On your left, rebels and two kids in trouble. Show me what a big hero you are.” She rolled into a spin dash and started bouncing off the nearest line of Eggforcers.
“Oh yeah, you learned to fight!” He grinned and joined her, scooping up the two kids to safety before smashing his way around. He landed on a rooftop as Star floated down to the streetside next to the rebels. “Miss me?”
“How come every time you show up, things get worse?” Rebel demanded.
“Because he’s a harbinger of chaos.” Star landed in front of her.
“Hey, kid. We thought you were toast.” Knux offered her a sly fist bump. “How’d you make it out of lockup?”
“It’s complicated. Let’s just say I know somebody on the inside, and she’s in danger right now.” She explained. “I need to get into the Yolk.”
Rebel nodded. “Then we’re going with you. I know it’s now how we operate, we stick to the shadows, but… we need to take the fight to them.”
“Star knows all about sticking to the shadows, don’t you?” Sonic dropped an arm around her shoulders with a smirk and emphasis on the word Shadow.
She stomped his foot as hard as she could with her heel. “Then we need to move.”
