Platonic yandere yautja x human child reader
Aww dad yautja😊 I didn't write for yautjas in months!! Hopefully u enjoy it!! Also i used they/them for kid. No tw, only cuteness and wholesome dad figure yautja👹 request open
Dad yautja with human kid
Bro is confused ??? Tf??? Why is there a child here??
He either found them abandoned in middle of nowhere or accidentally killed their perents, by 'accidentaly' i mean ofc he wanted to kill them he just didn't know there was a child nearby and now he feels bad
Kinda finds human pups ugly😭 why are you so smol and loud wtf
Dad!yautja after he kinda adopts y/n he gets too overprotective! Like dude won't leave their side at all, especially when you guys are outside; dude will pick them up and just carry around.
Can't cook to save his life, he kinda set kitchen on fire. And humans cant eat raw meat, so now you are on fruit diet for now (and veggies)
Had this parental instinct to teach them everything, how to shoot, find food, basic self-defence, overall taking good care of themselfs. But he kinda likes that he has to provide for them, it gives him control yknow
When he carries them around everywhere! He acually lets them sit on his shoulders or just hang on his neck😓😍
Cant say no to those cute big eyes! Yes he will let them 'decorate' his armor (with glitter and stickers) and he will let them paint his nails and he will lisen to them gossip about their friends.
If his kid is a little artist and walks up to him and says "papa i drew you!" He does not care that he looks like a lizard nor that they didn't color it perfectly. Dude is purring, picking y/n up and he carries this drawing in pocket everywhere
Other yautjas say that he spoils them, but he disagrees! Your a HUMAN baby, i mean yeah your basically one of yautjas now but!!! Your tiny! And your skin is so squishy!!!
He had to learn how to comb their hair cuz at some point y/n simply refused to cut it (me too lil guy) and he respects them so much he won't just do something against them
Kinda wishes he could understand human body language more
Also about body language i can imagine kid just kinda mimicing yatuja body language and habits. Like dad!yatuja will say "child please go to bed its late" the kid will just angry respond with a hiss👹 "hsssss👽🦎" "?????" If yaujtas had eyebrows, he would rise them
If y/n is a girl, and she has her first period? Dude panics! HUHH WHAT BLOOD??? FROM WHERE!?? UHHHH????
Dude tries to be a perfect father figure, he tries to have similar intrests with his kid so they can connect more, but if y/n is totally not into hunting, collecting, nature themed stuff, Yautja is more than happy to catch up with whatever teens are into this days, but he will judge the hell out of tv shows (if they watch any)
I kinda forgot it suppose to be yandere so it turned out to be just wholesome im so sorry
Understands that kid needs privacy but he will just go invisible mode and lurk in shadows! Like what if somone attacks you??? Or worse! What if you meet some humans that he doenst like??? What if they will tell y/n all lies about what 'bad war crimes' he commited and what 'murderous' his kind is!! Those are lies pls dont lisen to humans
No boy/girlfriends!!! Nuh uh!! Your his little baby you cant go doing all those... things... with some human. ugh! this person probably can't even hunt for you!! Or give you nice treasures!! Or build a pretty nest!! Why would you like them my child?? Look at all those trophies i gathered for all those years! You should stay here!
He loves the fact that he lives in some wild ass jungle and y/n cant leave him due to all those dangers around, plus he loves that y/n will always stay tiny(in comparison obviously) and weak so be basically needs to provide for them! Right???
I used x reader tags ONLY to reach bigger audience

General Gabriel and V1 Headcanons- 2!!!
Can be seen as platonic or romantic, your choice lol
V1’s optic is bright, sometimes shines it directly in Gabriel’s eyes to annoy him, it’s a great night light though
Gabriel is learning how to cook, sometimes finds dried spices while scavenging the surface and brings them home, especially likes trout (yummy) and PITR fish (polite), V1 is not allowed to help in the kitchen, it would 100% burn down their base
Both like stargazing, but sometimes it makes Gabriel miss heaven, he knows all the constellations and teaches V1 them
V1 can’t fucking stay still, says something about a “style meter,” but Gabriel never understands what that’s all about
(inspired by a comic I saw) Gabriel hates the limbo layer because he flew into one of the hologram walls lmao, V1 must never know of this
Both like to visit the ferryman often, she always offers them a room to stay, she has a hampster named "blorp" (V1 and Gabriel's hampster is named florp) that goes missing a lot but always comes back, V1 once had to use slam storage to reach blorp's hiding spot, blorp and florp do not get along :( , they will scrongle each other
V1 really likes finding hats, it starts a collection and tries them out on KITR, she makes an excellent model, florp just likes to sit in the hats, they're comfy
Using scrap from other machines, V1 makes a new arm specifically designed to pet KITR
Gabriel has a knack for taking what V1 calls “birdbaths,” he just splashes his wings around in a pond, tries to do this alone because it makes him embarrassed lol
Gabriel also likes to draw, still working on proportions but loves to sketch V1 and the pets
Gabe feels very guilty over all his kills, but especially over minos, he wonders what lust could've been if minos was allowed to continue his reign, V1 also feels guilty after killing minos in his prime form
Gabriel is legitimately afraid of sisyphus prime and has no idea how V1 defeated him, honestly V1 doesn't know either
Neither had seen snow before, V1 loves pelting Gabriel with snowballs using its many arms, Gabriel does not like this lol
While sparring, both enjoy adding a little bit of flourish to their attacks, making it a deadly dance of blade and artillery
The ferryman actually bested Gabriel in combat once, though that may or may not be because he has a soft soft for her
Gabriel is scared of spiders, he needs V1 to squash them for him, will scream if one is spotted, he's also scared of the mannequins in the violence layer (fair), their skittering reminds him of spiders
The hot sun of the greed layer makes both V1 and Gabriel hate going there, it heats up their armor/metal plating, V1 also hates sand, it gets stuck in their joints

"Let me train you in spirit magic" or, please stop getting your ass kicked
Short fic from early in Solas and Enaste's relationship, in which he offers to teach her combat magic and spends absolutely no excess time staring at her and describing her eyes.
rating: general
pairing: solavellan
She was an inexperienced mage, and that made her dangerous.
In battle she stood beside him, careful not to disrupt his spells but not confident enough to properly wield her own. She knew this about herself, and thus restrained her power. Perhaps this was what the Dalish taught her, that it was better for her grip to be too tight than too loose.
It would not keep her safe, not with the Anchor drawing so much attention from across the Veil. She lacked the inner calm needed to dissuade demonic interest. He hoped, at first, that she could simply learn by example: she was remarkably observant and self-possessed, and perhaps could find the gaps in her training by paying attention to his.
If she did find such gaps, she was unable to mend them herself. Even if he believed she could resist possession, drawing demons towards their position was exhausting them both and would inevitably lead to casualties. He recalled her short, shallow breaths, how her black hair stuck to the shimmering skin of her face, the shudder of magic through her lithe frame and into her white-knuckled hands --and when she fell, as she often did, her hazel eyes shone with guilt as he bent to help her stand.
She did not like being helpless, and prided herself on her reliability and independence. He had yet to witness her response to genuine criticism, and thus waited until she was alone just outside of camp so as not to embarrass her.
"Enaste." She leaned against a roughshod wooden banister overlooking a narrow valley. The Hinterlands was often picturesque, in its way, especially in the fading light of dusk. She turned to him, first over her shoulder, then more fully. The metallic details of her armor took on an orange tint. "May I have a word?"
Her dark brows furrowed, pinching the dendritic lines of her deep purple vallaslin. "Of course." She sounded cautious. The gravel of the path crunched beneath his feet as he came to join her by the overlook. "Is it about the artifact we found earlier?"
He shook his head. "Curious as it is, no. I wanted to know how you were fairing, after so much fighting. Did you train for combat in your Clan?"
She sighed. "No." She turned away from him, towards the valley. Her long, thin fingers gripped the railing. "I was far more focused on learning about magic than how to use it."
"I understand. Yet you have some talent for it. Did your Keeper see no reason to hone that?"
"It is... complicated." She glanced at him, and he tilted his head. "Whatever talent I had did not manifest until I was already trained to be hunter. Or mostly trained, anyway."
"Truly? You must have been older than most, then."
She nodded. "I had some odd dreams when I was younger, but no one suspected I was a mage until I was nearly ready to receive my vallaslin." He was unfamiliar with magic manifesting so late, even now, and it explained a great deal about her lack of skill. "The mark has made my magic stronger, I can feel it." She opened her left palm, and green sparks shivered to her fingertips. Then she looked at him again, and the intensity of her gaze disarmed him. "I need more training, don't I?" Her full lips tilted into a rare grin and she gestured to a gash in the leather of his armor. He'd earned it catching a blow meant for her. "Or Josephine will have words with me about our armor budget."
He returned her smirk. "I would not be concerned about the armor budget."
"No, I suppose hiring a real trainer will be more expensive."
The smirk remained; he cocked his head. "Why would you need to hire a trainer?" She frowned, confused, and he went on. "You need practice in spirit magic, to avoid drawing excess threats to our position." He held his hands behind his back. "I believe I am fully qualified to assist you."
"Oh." Her smirk did not return. "I... there's no reason to burden you with training me. You have other duties."
The hesitance was unexpected, but understandable. "If you would prefer a different trainer, I could help find one." He had sat by her side and studied the effect of the anchor on her body for hours while she slept, had felt the flow of magic through her and into the mark. He had enough stability in battle to watch her, and had noted her interactions with the rest of the Inquisition. He felt he knew her, but she likely had no such feeling for him. "Even another Dalish mage could be found, I suppose."
Enaste looked out towards the valley. She was silent for a few moments. A gentle breeze stirred the loose locks of hair that framed her face. In this light her eyes were almost green, her face outlined with golden sunlight. She bit her lower lip. He looked away.
"No, you are right," she said finally, her voice surprisingly firm and clear. "You've seen my weaknesses in combat. You are a talented spirit mage." She nodded, apparently having made her decision. "I would be honored if you'd consider training me."
"I require no such formality, lethallan." It was endearing, though. Enaste could be deferential when she wanted to, though she rarely was to their human companions. "We may begin whenever you are ready."
She blinked at him. "Now?"
"Whenever you are ready," he repeated. His lips twitched into a smirk. "But the sooner the better. The Rifts will not wait for you to become more proficient in closing them."
"And I'm sure you're sick of rescuing me."
He opened his mouth, then thought better of what he was about to say and rephrased it. "I --am still here to assist you. But reducing the frequency of the rescuing would be preferable."
Footsteps crunched up the path behind them, and they both turned to see one of the Inquisition officers waiting patiently with a sheet of paper in hand. "Herald, my apologies for interrupting. I have a report on the locations of the bandits you asked about earlier."
"Yes, thank you," Enaste nodded to him. "Later, then." She paused, then smiled softly. "Hahren."
He nodded in response, uncertain how sarcastic that was. She left him by the overlook, the officer's voice drifting into the distance as he kept his gaze on the valley below.

@intertexts im being haunted by pd parahumans au. officially
some Thoughts under the cut hehe
WILLIAM:
I like 2 think he wears a LOT of body armor especially if his power involves leaving his physical body vulnerable. i think he'd take every precaution possible to protect it w armor/the majority of his costume being darker in color. since his powers wouldn't require direct contact with other people PLUS he's really the only one on the team with close direct family members to protect with his identity, he'd keep the majority of his skin covered/concealed and use loose bulky clothes + the cape to change his silhouette. bold of him to have fire motifs in his costume design and not actually have fire based powers <3 I'm totally bullshitting the classification numbers but I think his breaker level would be higher than the master level since he doesn't always have the greatest control over the wisps (they do their own thing sometimes it's fine)
DAKOTA:
I REALLY like the idea that at first glance everyone EXPECTS him to be a brute. but hes not. he's just insane about martial arts training and has built up a lot of muscle because of it. has the least protective costume. VERY little armor on him, doesn't like the restriction/weight of armor. has a ton of scars from a combination of that lack of protective gear + putting himself in front of teammates in danger + the insane amount of training he does, basically pushes himself to the limit constantly. has a lot of big pockets in his pants, usually keeps things like extra bandages and snacks in them :] belt around his waist is like a karate black belt. doesn't wear shoes, keeps hands and feet bandaged basically at all times.
VYNCENT:
also keeps a lot of bare skin showing in costume, mostly on his arms in order to use his powers. has a lot of belts that look pretty useless/only for aesthetic reasons but uses them to hide a lot of little concealed weapons in case his powers backfire and he can't use them immediately. pretty well trained in melee combat. the most lax with his identity, but is still somewhat careful about it. the highest power rating on the team, but also the one with the least amount of control over his powers. it takes him a while to get used to using someone else's powers, so it's general knowledge among villains that you DONT want to fight him more than once in close succession (and if you do, to stall the fight/draw it out as long as possible because he can only use his powers in short bursts. gotta wear him out). he's the most comfortable with using williams and dakotas powers (and on rarer occasions, tide's) but still can't fully control them
SIDE NOTES:
- when asked who the leader of the team is, william will say it's dakota, dakota will say it's william. vyncent will say either of them depending on the day
- I like 2 think tide kind of takes the role of director piggot ? since she seems the most like their caretaker/mentor. except it's different with tide, he's a little more directly involved with them 1) because he genuinely cares about them and they care about him and 2) because he's also a cape, he can more directly kind of teach them the rules (?)
- ashe joins the team way later and there's a little but of strain because of it. this is mostly from william, who gets jealous easily and doesn't generally do well with new people (he defends himself by saying putting two masters on the team makes them unbalanced, really he's just a little jealous that ashe is master 8 and he's only master 5) HOWEVER. eventually they end up being the ones that hang out the most out of costume <3
- THINKINGGGGG A LOT. ABOUT HOW ASHE JOINS THEM BTW. I think I need 2 read more worm before I actually decide. learn how the prt responds to certain things. i.e. how does this kid with a villain dad end up on the wards (right now im considering a chariot situation where he originally joins as a mole . but then decides he likes them <3 this could also contribute to why william doesnt like him at firsr because hes the most likely to figure that out. )
- thinking a LOT about the leviathan fight. i don't exactly know how to put those thoughts into words rn but. tide gets OFFICIALLY sent to the leviathan fight bc of his water powers and i think maybe. they follow him when they're not supposed to. but then they get to stay because they're already there and the rest of the heroes are not gonna turn down more hands in the fight. (somewhat similar to the meatball planet situation)
- extreme ghostkicks codependency. that is all

DRDT Characters’ Quirks and Roles (BNHA AU)
I made a typo one time calling Hope’s Peak “UA”, so now I have to course correct. In other words, here’s the quirks (essentially superpowers for the uninformed) I think the DRDT cast would have if they were in BNHA, and what roles they would play in the story! Well, this was originally just going to be quirks, but I got carried away and now I have a whole AU. How did this happen.
Get ready for somewhat clear favoritism, especially 1-B supremacy.
Btw, I know DRDT characters are older than high schoolers, but I’m still making them first years so they can fit better in the narrative. And pretend hero course classes have a different number of students allowed. Oh, and I will use first names for DRDT characters and last names for BNHA characters, don’t @ me.
(This is way longer than it should be)
Xander: Rebel Heart
(He can’t stand to do nothing)
Whenever he perceives something he deems an injustice, his eye(s) begins glowing and his strength grows exponentially! Over time, he’s learnt to activate it on command by simply remembering injustices he’s seen. (Credit to @accirax for the idea! Tagging them 'cause they said they wanted to read this if I ever made it)
However, if he loses his temper too much, his body will begin using hysteric strength, which can damage his muscles and bones. Not to the extent of Midoriya, but still pretty bad.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. He did not like the stunt Aizawa pulled in the quirk apprehension test. Keep away from Bakugo at all costs. He constantly clashes with people like Iida and Yaoyorozu on ideals, and loves to argue. His enthusiasm does draw in people like Kirishima, Ashido, etc. He's essentially an honorary member of the Bakusquad, but Bakugo and him avoid each other a bit too much for Xander to truly be a member.
He originally joined UA just to ‘fight the bad guys’ and save people, but quickly gets convinced the Hero System is in desperate need for reform, and wants to revolutionize it from within. Over the course of the year(s), he adds people to his cause to completely overhaul the system.
Hero name: Revolution
(Thus starts the trend of me being bad at names)
Charles: Atomic Rearrangement
(Weakness is to be conquered, not ignored)
By touching an object, he can remove electrons, protons and neutrons from its atoms to change its chemical makeup, as well as rearrange the object’s molecular structure! He can later use the removed particles to create small electric shocks, or add them to another object and change its chemical makeup.
(I don’t think that’s how this would work, but pretend with me)
Common tricks include creating carbon-only weapons from the oxygen in the air, though he prefers creating carbon alloys with oxygen and stuff from his hero costume; reducing oxygen to hydrogen and blowing it up with a shock, a la Bakugo (he has to be careful, since he doesn’t have as much blast resistance as the other); vaporizing walls, weapons and armor by reducing their components to noble gasses; among others.
However, his quirk takes a toll on his mind, simply due to the effort of keeping track of the sheer number of particles he manipulates. He can generally fight without much focus, but he gets sloppy after too much use and can even lose the ability to speak for a while. He has lapses in memory when he really overdoes it. It’s a bit like Kaminari, but toned way down, and also, he resents the comparison.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. He began with an elitist attitude, only considering a few of his classmates to have have truly heroic quirks. He’s quickly humbled as his hemophobia becomes a problem since the very first time Midoriya uses his quirk. He has to work hard to be able to fight when blood’s involved, but he learns quickly. He gets better over time, in part thanks to his hero costume’s goggles blocking out the red color of blood to help him, but he still prefers his fights as bloodless as possible.
He ends up becoming quite well-liked after that bad first impression. Kaminari and Ashido constantly bother and prank him, but he's still first choice when they struggle with Chemistry. Todoroki and him enjoy just sorta existing near each other. Yaoyorozu and him regularly talk about chemicals no one but them even knows how to pronounce.
1-B and 1-A have a much closer relation in this AU (you'll see why), but the amount of time Charles spends with 1-B is still surprising. Until you realize Whit is in 1-B, and then it makes more sense.
Hero Name: Elemental
(I swear these get better)
Ace: Cavalry
(An unsure jockey will always move forward, but it will be the horse who chooses the path)
(Disclaimer: I know nothing about jockeying)
If he puts his legs over any object, in the same way one would put their legs over a horse, the object will begin flying forwards or backwards (he chooses) at great speeds, like a horse! Or, perhaps more accurately, a witch’s broom. Ace prefers horses for the explanation because as scary as they are, they’re less scary than witches.
His main trick involves jumping and bending his knees, which will trick his quirk into activating on his pants. As soon as he does, his speed will instantly increase to that of a good horse’s top speed, but given enough space to accelerate, he can even rival Hawks. This allows him to quickly and erratically reposition himself in battle, and kicking while flying at these speeds is his most usual form of attack. This leads to an extremely unorthodox, yet weirdly effective fighting style, where Ace constantly swings back and forth in the battlefield, kicking like a wild horse.
(I am not good at coming up with quirks)
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. But you think he wants to be a hero? Fuck no! That’s scary! But it’s what everyone told him he’d be good at, and he doesn’t want to disappoint them. He hates fighting and especially practicing, which is what makes his actual ability so strange.
He’s really good at both fighting and rescue, despite never wanting to practice for either. He even managed to grab everyone’s headbands during the cavalry battle of the first year Sports Fest, and kept them until the end! That one was awkward. The organizers had to make a tie-breaker game on the fly; 5 people from class A made it through, alongside Shinso, and the rest of the final 16 was all class 1-B, since Ace’s group was just people from his class.
The Common Sense Kings constantly bother him, he's fun to prank. Regularly receives Kendo neck chops. Monoma doesn't like Ace's quirk all that much, and Ace takes that as a point of pride. He will get punched by Kamakiri one day.
Deathly terrified by Pony Tsunotori.
Hero Name: Blowout
(I swear that's a real jockeying term)
Arei: Bowling Queen
(Because that’s what heroes do)
When she touches any object below a certain weight limit with her left hand, she can change its shape to match the size and shape of a bowling ball. She can additionally throw this ball with extreme strength and precision. Doesn’t work on things in direct contact with a person (read: clothes). She carries small marbles on her hero costume to expand into a bowling ball size and destroy her enemies. No real drawback, her arm just gets tired from throwing too much shit.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. She goes through a similar arc as she does in the killing game, but with Kendo comforting her instead of David when she breaks down at Eden’s niceness. She does actually get the chance to make it up to her, and she promises to buy support gear from her and only her for as long as she’s a hero. It’s the best support gear out there anyways (according to Arei, at least), so if anyone has any problems with it, they can eat a bowling ball.
Apart from that, she gets along with class B once she becomes nicer. Tokage and her in particular are a menace together. They also occassionally go bowling as a class, and she destroys everyone.
Hero Name: Strikeout
(I hope I’m not fucking up the bowling terminology and this isn’t bad. It just sounds better than ‘striker’ or something)
Rose: Photographic Memory
(An eye for details)
She can perfectly remember everything she’s ever seen, down to the most minute detail, and notice even extremely minor shifts in how things look!
UA Support Course student, class 1-H. She is the early warning system for Hatsume’s explosions (when she’s paying attention, anyways), since she can spot any malfunctions pretty much instantly. Her quirk incidentally allows her to perfectly visualize the things she wants to make, and her artistic abilities let her make incredible sketches. Only issue is she’s a bit of a perfectionist, and absentminded as always, but she’s one of the best students in the Support Course first year.
Eden's her friend, and usually drags her along to talk to the Hero Course. Rose likes hanging out with them, but is usually exhausted after spending too much time there. Rose, Todoroki and Kodai understand each other on a fundamental level, no need to speak.
Support Codename: Photographic Forger
(Get it? Forging like metal and copying art? What? What do you mean support codenames aren’t a thing?)
Hu: Metamorphosis
(Yearning for change; let the future always be brighter than the past)
At will, she can transform parts of her body into those of a giant butterfly. However, she becomes extremely tired if she uses the quirk too much.
+She can manifest large butterfly wings made of pure energy (they go through clothes because I said so). By default, they're neon green, but she can change their color at will, which can be useful for visual communication, among other applications. She can fly with these wings, and with training, she can choose to either fly straight and effectively, or fly with the erratic turbulence butterflies usually do, to make her movements harder to predict.
+She can manifest an extra set of arms under her standard two. These are also made of energy and can go through clothes (can you tell I have a grudge on certain women's quirks), but they always have a neon green outline and are see-through. Obviously useful.
+She can manifest compound eyes over her regular ones, though it's advised she closes her human baseline eyes before doing so. This grants her a 360ª field of vision, and the ability to see UV light.
+She can manifest antennae, granting her extra sensory abilities, mainly in smell and the ability to feel nearby disturbances in the air.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. She gets on extremely well with Yaoyorozu, Shoji, Tokoyami, and basically anyone else in that class who doesn’t shout all the time (so like three people), but she’s nice to everyone for the most part. Zither playing is a hobby, but she's obviously extremely good at it, and thus she was part of the Culture Festival band.
Hero Name: Lepidoptera
(I know that’s boring, but it sounds cool)
Eden: Clockwork
(Take your time; you will hear the clock chime again)
She can alter the flow of time on any inanimate object she touches, but only one object can be affected at a time! This effectively means she can slow down or speed up anything. However, whatever effect she applies, the opposite applies to her: she slows down when she speeds something up, and speeds up when she slows something down. She can’t fully reverse time. The gears in her eyes turn when she uses her quirk.
She typically uses Clockwork to test out support gear, slowing them down to observe how they work and what issues they may have, or speeding them up to see how they react to prolonged use.
UA Support Course student, class 1-H. Hatsume worries her sometimes, but they have a ‘blast’ (or several) designing support items together! Their energy cannot be contained when they’re in the mood. Eden establishes a great relationship with Arei after a tumultuous start, but she also gets along well with several Hero Course first years and of course Rose and Levi.
Support Codename: Hourglass
Nico: Mammalian Encyclopedia
(In the end, we are naught but animals)
They can change parts of their body (but never their entire body) to match any mammal they’re aware of! Well, except other primates for some reason. However, their mental faculties and instincts change to more closely match those of the species they transform into, so it’s generally recommended they stick to highly intelligent and non-aggressive species. Their favorites are felines of any kind, however. Also, they get permanent cat ears and whiskers, even if they completely change their head to match another animal.
Their main weapon is using bear paws and jaguar teeth; you sort of don’t need much more than that usually, and those two are intelligent enough to where Nico can suppress predatory instincts from the jaguar. However, their repertoire is immense; horses for kicks, lynx for vision, bats for echolocation and flight, cheetahs for speed (though they have to be particularly careful not to destroy their energy reserves), the list goes on.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. They instantly got along with Koda for obvious reasons, and quite quickly got adopted into the 'quiet kid' club. Great friends with Hu, of course. In fact, she helped them figure out how to fly as a bat, since they always struggled with that. Bats aren't very smart.
They hate water, a lot, but they’re actually one of the best in sea rescues alongside Asui. The orca may just be their best transformation, even though since they can’t do full body and always end up looking more like a mermaid. Still, echolocation, strength, speed and practically unimpaired mind make them the only real threat to Asui in water exercises. They also have hippos for lower water level floods, but they’re… dumber. And way too aggressive to be viable for long.
Actually, aggressiveness is a real use. They never go too far with classmates, but they have gotten quite close to killing quite a few villains. The rumors they even tried to kill 1-B student Ace at one point don’t help them.
Sometimes gets the urge to eat Nedzu. Nedzu is slightly scared.
Hero Name: Fauna
Whit: Cupid’s Arrow
(A match made in heaven)
By kissing the air, he can choose to shoot an arrow made of energy, its tip shaped like a heart and leaving a heart shaped trail. When two arrows impact two different targets (be it objects or people), they will be attracted to one another as if pulled by a magnetic force. The effect will wear off when the targets touch, and they will be immune to Cupid’s Arrow for a few seconds after. Overuse of this quirk can lead to acute heartaches and arrhythmia, and may have permanently damaged Whit’s cardiovascular system there is nothing Whit’s classmates have to worry about, he’s perfectly fine :)
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. One of the driving forces for the two classes being closer than in canon BNHA. They still love to bother Charles the most, but when he’s not around, Monoma, Kuroiro, Shiozaki, Ace, among others, are great targets for puns and teasing. Whit is dubbed a Common Sense King alongside Awase, Tsuburaba, Kaibara and Rin.
Whit may or may not have a cousin with a quirk which magnetizes people based on gender. This cousin may or may not have disappeared a few years before Whit got to UA. Magne from the League of Villains may or may not have had a cousin with a quirk related to shooting heart-tipped arrows by blowing kisses. The Summer Camp attack may or may not have gotten awkward when Magne and Whit met.
Hero Name: Cupid
J: Lights Show
(The brightest lights cast the darkest shadows)
She can perfectly control photons in a radius around her! Sounds simple, but she’s essentially a walking flash-bang, smoke screen, flare system, etc. However, she mostly fights by concentrating light at her fingertips and launching lasers intense enough to create small explosions where they strike; and perhaps even more impressively, by manipulating photons to act as particles for long enough to work as solid matter. Weapons of pure light are one thing, but her mobility and defense thanks to light platforms and shields is impressive.
UA Hero Course Recommendation student, class 1-A (they get three recommendation students per class because I said so). She was recommended by her mom, pro hero Mariabella Rosales, but she hides this from her classmates as long as possible. Yaoyorozu and Todoroki knew, but didn’t say anything until the Sports Festival, where her true name was called out in front of everyone, and all eyes where on her.
Despite her quirk and lineage, she actually wants to go underground. She likes Aizawa pretty much instantly, even after the quirk apprehension fiasco. The same way canon J doesn’t like egocentric actors, BNHA AU J hates flashy heroes. She even has a grudge against All Might, though it slowly goes away as she spends more time around him. Her and Todoroki get along from shared Endeavor hate, though.
She is one of the people most on board with Xander’s idea of revolution of the system, since she’s seen the flaws firsthand. Lots of political drama ends up having her orbiting around, but always just out of the public eye.
Hero Name: J
(She doesn’t see a point of making it more complicated than that, since she’ll be underground and all that)
Veronika: Living Nightmare
(But is it selfish to have fun?)
She can cause people in a certain, mid-range radius around her to hallucinate vividly. Auditory hallucinations are the least energy consuming for her to do, but visual and olfactory aren’t exactly difficult either. Her eyes swirl wildly as she uses her quirk (think trial 1 Komaeda reveal), and her vision even becomes blurry if she puts in a lot of effort at once.
If she doesn’t concentrate, the hallucinations default to horrifying effects such as harsh whispers, large shadows, monsters, bright eyes, darkness, blood, death, etc. If she actually tries, she can fine tune them to be extremely effective. Sounds of opponent teammates shouting for help, “cloning” herself to confuse her opponent, temporarily blinding them with quick flashes of nothing but black, not to mention what she can do if she learns any trauma her opponent may have.
When her quirk awakens, she can even induce tactile hallucinations, though they take much, much more effort than the others. However, it’s worth it; she can make her opponents hallucinate being burned alive, frozen to death, electrocuted, stabbed, all of which they could actually feel. Fighting Veronika becomes nearly impossible without inhuman pain tolerance or a quirk to help resist her tactile hallucinations.
Overuse causes migraines first, but quickly causes her eyes to bleed and for her to cough up blood. Veronika has ridiculously high pain tolerance in this universe, though, so she can fight effectively even while in excruciating pain. But her quirk has… another drawback.
You see, her quirk causes her to hallucinate as well, if she doesn’t use it for a while. This gets especially bad when she’s bored. She despises boredom so much, her body instinctively gives itself horrible hallucinations just to entertain itself. But, these hallucinations can be so vivid, Veronika can act irrationally when afflicted by them.
Had she gotten help early in her life, she really could have lived normally. Her hallucinations would have been manageable, and she may have been just another horror-obsessed girl.
The problem is, she didn’t get the help she needed. Mental health protection systems in the BNHA universe are notoriously lacking. So… you know Toga’s backstory? That the lack of systemic support for her led her to lose control and murder a classmate? Veronika ended up doing something similar to her, if not worse. I’ll let you imagine the details.
The point is, after she broke definitively, society certainly wouldn’t accept her back, so she ran away and became and outcast… until she found Stain’s ideals interesting.
Yep! In this AU, Veronika ends up as a member of the League of Villains! Not because of her condition, mind you, but because it wasn’t treated properly. You didn’t think all these people would be on the heroes’ side, did you?
Well, if you were worried about Veronika’s quirk being overpowered, there’s your explanation. LoV members tend to get stronger quirks to balance out their lower numbers.
Besties with Toga and Twice, naturally. They bond over the systemic failures which led them to where they are. Toga... realistically may end up developing a crush once she sees Veronika crying and coughing blood after using her quirk. It may be reciprocated.
She always analyses the League’s trauma, as expected, and it seriously pisses Dabi off. Although he’s lowkey scared she’s eventually going to find out his identity. She receives the most disintegration threats from Shigaraki, and she wears that as a badge of honor. Spinner is scared of her. Guess who forces the League to watch horror movie marathons?
She had never intentionally killed before joining the League, which causes her to hesitate with it in her first few missions. But after the Meta Liberation arc, when her quirk awakens, she gets rid of the hesitation. Keep in mind, she's much stronger than she looks. She also briefly joined the Haissaikai when Toga and Twice were sent there too, which made the raid a lot more horrifying than it originally was.
Hero Villain Name: Phobia
David: Starry-Eyed
(A beacon of hope)
His pupils turn into stars when he smiles. :)
UA General Education student, class 1-C. He’s the most famous person in the class, as he still creates his motivational speeches in this universe. After all, his quirk is pretty inoffensive, all things considered. Teruko doesn’t like him, and Shinso thinks there’s something off about him as well, but everyone else in his class adores him.
Although he didn’t make it past the race in the Sports Festival, it did make the Hero Course notice him, and a few of the students there, such as Xander, recognized him. He hangs out with the Hero Course a lot after that, and they love him there. Kirishima, Tetsutetsu, Kaminari, Midoriya, Hagakure, Fukidashi, Shoda, and more; all big fans of his speeches.
Overall, he just lives a pretty standard life.
Hero Name: N/A
But you don’t really believe all that, do you?
David: Starstruck
(An abyss of despair)
His pupils turn into stars when he smiles. If someone looks him in the eyes while his quirk is active, they will believe anything he says with absolutely no question, as long as it doesn’t contradict their core beliefs too much. Admittedly, that limitation is so vague, not even David has any idea where the limit actually is, but he works around it. The afflicted person must be using both their eyes when looking at David’s for the quirk to work, but Starstruck can even fool other quirks such as Lie Detector. (Credit to @accirax for the idea!)
The reason his quirk is officially listed under ‘Starry-eyed’ is that he fooled the quirk registry people into thinking his quirk really was nothing more than his pupils turning into stars. He originally did it so people wouldn’t be scared of him, but now it’s a good way to cover his… less than legal practices.
Key member of the Meta Liberation Army, later Paranormal Liberation Front. He plays a similar role to Trumpet, an important public figure who secretly helps the MLA. Officially, he helps because he wants people to reach their “full potential”, motivational speaker and all that. His real motivations are unknown, but some speculate he simply wants to be as famous and appreciated as possible, and to do that he needs to be able to reveal what his quirk really is without much backlash, thus he needs Meta Liberation. So he just wants people's love.
(Please, it's so hard to figure out David's motivations-)
He was not present during the MLA-LoV war, however, as his position as an UA alum was deemed too important to risk just for a little bit of backup in a war the MLA was sure to win anyways. When that doesn’t happen, David tries to talk to the League members now in the PLF, but they’re never allowed to see eye to eye for some reason.
(Unbeknownst to him, All for One had been interested in his quirk since it got originally diagnosed, before he made the consultants change it. The eyeless AfO quickly realized he had no use for Starstruck, but David was deemed enough of a threat for the big bad to tell Kurogiri and Shigaraki about the quirk)
David tries to manipulate as many people as he can in Gen Ed, and is annoyed because Shinso and Teruko don't seem to be affected by Starstruck for some reason. He suspects Shinso's quirk gives him a natural resistance to brainwashing-like quirks, but he can't figure out why Teruko is unaffected.
(Turns out, it's actually Teruko's prosopagnosia fucking with the quirk)
However, his ideals are shaken by UA, more specifically, Xander. See, because Xander only has one eye, he’s immune to Starstruck, yet he still likes David. And the way he speaks of his ideals, with such unshakable conviction…
Well. Let’s say if Xander’s revolution ever needs a man in the PLF, someone might be willing to help.
MLA Codename: Megaphone
Min: A+
(Mistakes are meant to be corrected)
She can instantly spot any mistakes anyone in her sight makes, and her quirk also warns her whenever something she’s about to do is a mistake. However, for something to be considered a mistake, she must be able to properly explain why it’s a mistake, meaning she has needed to study a ridiculous amount of battle theory for her quirk to activate in any given fight. To accommodate for the overwhelming amount of information she receives at any given moment, her mind also processes information significantly faster than the average.
(Does this quirk make any sense? No? I don’t care)
As her quirk isn’t physical, she relies on more basic weapons and fighting styles. She is regretfully not allowed a gun yet (even though her quirk says it’s a mistake not to let her have it), but she does have a powerful and compact paintball gun for now. She’s surprisingly effective with it, seeing as she literally cannot miss (her quirk warns her when she would, and she adjusts). Other weapons include a taser, hyper density seals (inspired by Nighteye), grappling gun, retractable baton, and a switchblade she keeps hidden in a pen.
Don’t let her simple fighting style deceive you, though. If there is a single flaw in your strategy, she will exploit it to the maximum. If you attack her and leave a way to dodge, she will. There is no easy way to fool her or distract her, as she makes no mistakes (usually). However, forcing her into a situation where she has to make a mistake (all options are bad), she can be quickly overwhelmed and frozen in indecision.
UA Hero Course recommendation student, class 1-B. No one knows who recommended her, and she’s weirdly tight-lipped about it. Todoroki suspects it was Nedzu (no one believes him, but he may have a point). She’s one of the main reasons classes A and B have such a good relationship, as she deemed it a mistake to antagonize each other. That said, with her as a tutor, class B tends to massively outperform class A, as all their mistakes are quickly corrected.
Elected class rep originally, but she deemed it a mistake to let anyone but Kendo take the position, so Min is the vice-rep. She gets along with everyone in her class, but particularly likes to talk about dinosaurs with Tokage, philosophy with Shiozaki and Yanagi, mushrooms with Komori, literature with Shishida and Kuroiro, and especially insects with Kamakiri and Yanagi again. She’s very knowledgeable.
Min has a secret, however. Although she usually acts as if her quirk is all-knowing, that’s only because doubting her quirk is deemed a mistake… by her quirk. Because of that, most people don’t question it either. However, Min herself doubts her quirk in more complex topics such as the Hero system, and even disagrees with it at times. Her quirk is weirdly obsessed with the status quo, and Min suspects that’s where it gets a lot of things wrong.
However, publicly she never defies her quirk, which makes her clash with Xander pretty much constantly. He’s the only one who absolutely does not trust A+ on anything but the most objective facts. Min sort of admires that, even though it usually ends in Xander doing stupid things she had warned him were stupid in the first place.
(Other times, though, Min finds herself correcting the mistakes in Xander’s arguments not to prove him wrong, but to make the arguments stronger. Maybe they agree on more than they realize)
Hero Name: Straight Ace
Arturo: Perfectionist
(Imperfection isn’t ugliness; some have yet to learn this)
By closing one of his eyes, Arturo can immediately spot imperfections. His left eye spots aesthetic imperfections, his right practical imperfections. One of them is significantly more useful for combat, I’ll let you guess which one. This applies to both objects and people; with his right eye, he can spot both structural weak points in buildings and things like robots, as well as weak areas of a person’s body, quirk or fighting style. This does not require previous knowledge, which actually makes it a powerful aid for A+. Arturo finds the weaknesses, Min knows how to exploit them.
Like Min, his fighting style is quite basic, but centered around intelligence. He also carries a taser and a short-range sharp weapon on the form of a scalpel (no one but him knows why the hell he chose a scalpel), but he prefers to use long range weapons so as to not risk disfigurement in combat as much. Guns aren’t elegant enough for him, so he has a wrist mounted crossbow he uses to shoot specialized arrows, equipped with a laser pointer to shoot precisely. It seems somewhat inoffensive, until you remember he knows exactly where to shoot to make it hurt as much as possible.
(Listen, I didn’t know what to do with him, alright? This is the best I got)
UA Hero Course student, class 1-B. After all, since Min helped tone down the class rivalry and Monoma is actually normal, class B needed a few more mentally unstable people. Arturo considers heroism (read: fame and glory) inherently beautiful, but he still thinks all his classmates are ugly as sin. Yaoyorozu and J post-reveal he would consider beautiful, but, well, I put him in class B for a reason.
Apart from that, he considers a few of his teachers as “beautiful people”, namely Midnight, Present Mic, and All Might. Yes, even after the Kamino fight. All Might just has that effect on people. Other examples are Edgeshot, Miruko, Ryukyu, Hawks, the list goes on.
You may be wondering how his idea of conventional beauty interacts with heteromorphic transformations. The answer’s simple: even people who greatly diverge from the human baseline can be beautiful, though most are no prettier than the average. Kamui Woods is an example of someone Arturo considers beautiful, for instance.
In fact, the most aesthetically perfect person Arturo knows is Wash. No, you don’t get to ask.
Naturally, most of his classmates dislike or straight up hate him at first, but it smooths out over the course of the year. Mainly because Kendo is just too insistent on everyone getting along, and Arturo has enough self-preservation instinct not to mess with her. Also, Tokage and Honenuki have enough connections with the hero world that he decides to put up with them, ugly as they are.
Shiozaki still periodically warns him he’ll go to hell, but he doesn’t really care. The Common Sense Kings constantly fuck with him because he gives great reactions. He also has a surprising amount of medical knowledge, which proves extremely useful, enough so that a lot of his classmates are able to put up with him when Min’s not around.
This medical knowledge also inspires Yanagi to show him movies like ‘Human Centipede’. Because Veronika isn’t here, but he still can’t escape the horror fanatics.
Oh, yeah, Veronika. They meet in Summer Camp, and she almost kills him, but hesitates and doesn't. She haunts his dreams after that, but something about her makes him want to… save her. Or something. I like Verturo, okay? Even though Toga might kill that ship.
Hero Name: Utopia
(That good enough? Not really, but we’re going with it)
Levi: Thread Weaver
(Weaving a protective net, so that no one has to suffer)
He can control threads and fibers near him with immaculate precision! However, they move rather slowly, and the quirk has a strict limit on how much material can be affected at a time. Essentially Best Jeanist’s Fiber Master, except weaker but more precise. No relation to the hero, though.
He can use this quirk to interweave regular fabric with protective fibers far more effectively than any other human or any machine could, making the hero costumes he designs particularly sturdy and durable.
UA Support Course student, class 1-H. His mysterious, dark past is the reason he didn’t pursue heroism, although he still wanted to protect people. With his quirk, he decided the best way to protect others would be by protecting the heroes with essentially armored costumes.
People originally went to him just to reinforce their costumes, but Levi is still the Ultimate Personal Stylist. That means he has better fashion sense than anyone in UA, especially the Hero Course students. Word of his skill quickly spreads, and soon he becomes the consultant for practically all things hero costumes. If you want a gadget or complex mechanical item, you can ask Hatsume or Eden or Rose, but for costumes, you go to this guy.
No matter how good someone’s costume is, not only can Levi reinforce it, but also give advice on how to make it look better. Sometimes he simply reassured the customer their costume is excellent, as was the case with Komori, Kaminari, Kendo, among others. Other times, they aren’t that interested in aesthetics, such was the case of Tokoyami, Kuroiro, Jirou and J. Occasionally, people take his good-natured advice as a personal insult, like Bakugo, Kamakiri and Ace (though Ace still listens, at least). And every now and then…
Every now and then, Levi wants to strangle whoever the hell approved some of these costumes. This king will give Momo and Toru actually decent costumes, you will not stop him.
Support Codename: Needle and Thread
Teruko: Desperate Misfortune
(She makes everything worse)
A passive, reality bending ability, which causes exceedingly unlikely events to constantly occur around her. It follows seven core axioms.
The events originated from this quirk will always be considered extremely bad luck by the user. This can range from simply making Teruko prone to paper cuts all the way to seriously endangering her life.
The quirk acts on individual instances. Once an incident occurs as a result of this quirk, another unlucky event won’t happen until an indeterminate amount of time has passed.
The effects of this quirk cannot be predicted. It does not follow a proper logic, so no amount of analysis will be able to prepare for it. Even other quirks like Foresight are unable to see its effects ahead of time.
The quirk is pervasive and affects everyone around Teruko. In other words, when she’s around, unfortunate events can happen to everyone in the general area.
It comes without warning. An unfortunate event can happen without Teruko noticing, leading to a seeming “stacking” of bad luck. For example, if she gets invited to a summer camp that’s about to be attacked by villains, the invitation itself may be considered bad luck, opening the possibility of further misfortune happening after the attack begins without interfering with axiom 2.
The quirk is immutable, and cannot be interacted with. It cannot be erased, destroyed, rewound out of existence, taken, given away, copied, analyzed, among many other things.
Teruko Tawaki cannot die, no matter what. Upon being put in a perilous situation, all other axioms will be nullified until Teruko’s life is no longer at risk. Instead, her fortune will swing the other way, and the universe itself will tilt on its axis to keep her alive. Lightning, earthquakes, whirlwinds, meteorite strikes, spontaneous combustion of anyone attacking her, the list goes on. Unlikely, even outright impossible events will happen simultaneously until Teruko’s continued survival is guaranteed. In these situations, her luck is simply divine.
UA General Studies Course student, class 1-C. Teruko, a hero, with her luck? Yeah, no chance. However, that doesn’t mean she escapes the plot. She somehow manages to be at the USJ and Summer Camp incidents, hell, she was visiting Kamino the day of All Might’s retirement and almost got killed by All for One. She was kidnapped by the yakuza at one point, and was about to be killed by them. Guess when Nighteye conveniently found a guy who he could Foresight the Shie Haissaikai’s location out of. She cannot escape her protagonist role, evidently.
Incidentally, that means she ends up hanging out with the Hero Course more than Gen Ed, since she manages to be in the middle of every traumatic thing that happens to them. Min’s A+ doesn’t see it as a mistake to hang out with her, meaning the students of 1-A and 1-B are the only people who feel comfortable having her around.
(Teruko doesn’t say it, but she very much thinks A+ is wrong about her. She blames axiom 6 for not letting her quirk be properly analyzed by Min’s)
They mostly interact once the dorms are formed, and they get to spend the days together. However, it’s usually better to keep her away from Bakugo and Todoroki, since they’re essentially walking fire hazards together. Midoriya is fascinated by her quirk, since it’s nothing like anything he’d ever seen before. Shiozaki thinks demons are at fault and has tried to exorcise her, repeatedly. Kuroiro and Yanagi are convinced it’s a curse, and want to study it. Among other hijinks. Teruko would never admit it, but she’s really happy when she’s around the Hero Course (and there isn’t a villain attack going on).
Gen Ed mostly stay away from her, unfortunately. They don’t have Min’s quirk to assure them it’s alright to hang out with Teruko. One of the only exceptions is Shinso. They have a similar sense of humor and bond over “villain quirk” related trauma, and Shinso isn’t too bothered by the bad luck. As stated previously, Teruko is also immune to David’s Starstruck due to her prosopagnosia, so she doesn’t trust how easily everyone seems to adore the guy.
Hero Name: N/A
And that’s it! The main cast is covered!
We’re missing someone, aren’t we?
Mai: Blooming Hope
(She makes everything better)
(I ain’t slick, but I try to be)
She can make every plant around her grow exponentially in size, simply by raising her left arm. The plant’s shape and characteristics can be altered, so Mai can, for example, make grass grow into a field of vines, barberries and poison ivy. She can then reverse the effects, leaving the plants exactly as they were. The tattoo on her left arm is a mutation, and glows when she uses her quirk. She can also make flowers grow out of this tattoo, and then turn them into any useful plant she desires.
Although it may seems similar to Shiozaki’s quirk, Mai’s range is far lower and the strength of the vines she can create is much weaker. However, the versatility of being able to use more than just vines balances it out.
Particularly effective in grassy or mossy environments. Overuse will lead to severe dehydration, and in a worst case scenario, small, non-toxic plants may grow inside her body and cause all sorts of issues.
UA Hero Course student, class 1-A. She gets along with absolutely everyone, Bakugo doesn’t even shout at her after a while. Elected class rep, with Yaoyorozu as vice-rep. The other main reason classes A and B are closer than in canon, as she likes to spend time with everyone she can. She wants the best for everyone, and she’s deeply involved in whatever Xander’s plans for revolution are. Although she usually just makes compromises between Min and him for the actual planning phases.
Since she forgives everyone, she wants to save the League of Villains just as much as their victims. She is the model of what a perfect hero is meant to be.
Had Midoriya not existed, she would have received One for All.
She didn’t foresee the consequences.
Hero Name: Flora
(After she chose the name, Nico asked if they could match. Of course, Mai said yes)
Now that we've covered all the students, I did a recount and found something interesting. 5 DRDT characters went to 1-B, and 6 went to 1-A. You could acommodate this by having 26 student classes and adding someone to 1-B... or you can make 25 student classes and kick someone out of 1-A. And if you know BNHA fanfic, you know who's getting kicked out (hint: Mineta). I see this as an absolute win!
...
wait
M-MonoTV?!: High Fidelity
(Am I a bear, a cat, a TV? Well, I’m actually a dog!)
MonoTV is actually a dog which was experimented on. Humans gave him a quirk which changed his appearance and made him as smart as a normal person, but no more. He’s from the same laboratory as Nedzu, and resents the principal for escaping without him.
He starts out as a petty criminal, but no matter what the police and heroes try, he always escapes prison. He usually causes a major breach when he does, so they don’t want to send him to Tartarus until they understand what the hell he does to escape.
His crimes grow with time, but the heroes are never too worried, since he’s too incompetent to really be a threat. Some examples of his crimes include:
He let a sludge villain out of prison the day Midoriya met All Might.
He broke the UA gate early in the year.
He robbed a store the day of the USJ incident, slowing down All Might and running down his three hours of hero work.
He was spotted talking to Stain before he attacked Native, presumably telling the villain the location of the hero.
He introduced Giran to a blood obsessed girl, a man with severe burn wounds, and a girl with a hallucination quirk.
Overhaul was spotted following him right before he met Twice.
He helped La Brava hack into UA the day of the Culture Festival.
He watched Endeavor fight a Nomu right after becoming Number One.
He helped the MLA kidnap Giran.
And more...
(You get the idea, right?)
Villain Name: MonoTV
—————-—————-—————-—————-—————-—————-----
And there we go! God, I was just supposed to do quirks, how did I end up writing so much? Anyways, that’s the basis of my DRDT-BNHA crossover AU. I don’t know whether or not I’ll return to it, seeing as I actually had quite a bit of fun writing this. If you made it this far, that’s impressive! You get the honorary badge of being quirky. Take care!

initial thoughts on DCAS episode 16
Tumblr media
... is Derek really an incel? like, at the very least, shouldn't him being with Kristal prove that he isn't an incel? i have no qualms with Emily insulting Derek, but she should at least be accurate.
Tumblr media
ooh, Emily going full villain mode? we stan :D
Tumblr media
girl how would you possibly think this would work
Tumblr media
so Ally has resorted to playing a fully emotional game, huh? you either get eliminated a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the Jake.
Tumblr media
the music in this scene cracked me up. also, i think aleriya is (canonically) dead after this scene, if it hadn't already died beforehand. (i say canonically bc fans can do whatever they want)
Tumblr media
d-does he still...? also, obligatory "just because Connor loves Riya doesn't mean she has any obligation to love him back, villain or not."
Tumblr media
i really can't tell if this part of Ally's character arc is meant to be viewed as good or bad. like, the show is obviously telling us that Ally's overall trajectory is bad, and being needlessly cruel to other people for the sake of putting your own emotional wellbeing first could certainly be a part of that. but, there's also been a lot of commentary about how hard it is to be under the scrutiny of social media (likely from the crew's own experiences), so Ally learning to stand up for herself and what she needs could also be a form of wish fulfillment. hopefully it'll resolve as a multi-layered predicament in the end, but i'm just trying to figure out how Ally will respond to her edit in All Stars in either the finale or the Loser's Motel episode.
Tumblr media
...can't you just wait, like, two more episodes to directly state the point of your character arc, essentially then concluding it? then i could be sure that you'd win.
Tumblr media
HELP
Tumblr media
lmao of course the nerd can't rock climb. he can carry 120 pounds on his back but he cannot ascend.
Tumblr media
Connor is really fucking strong goddamn?
Tumblr media
Ally really can't fight this, because this is the exact rationale that she was trying to use on Jake for their entire games.
Tumblr media
i want to see people draw buff Grett in the style of the buff Natsuki meme from DDLC. but, also, go Grett!!!
Tumblr media
the intense difficulty of a twelve piece jigsaw puzzle. Venus noted that it really sounded like Kristal was describing a slide puzzle, but I understand why that would've been really difficult to storyboard.
Tumblr media
Connor you can't be this stupid (/j)
Tumblr media
in-universe, i don't really understand how she beat Alec (he was really good at the block puzzle in s1 and it fits his vibes), but yay Grett! i knew she wasn't going home tonight anyway.
Tumblr media
what else could it have possibly been, Ally? regardless, we're definitely setting up the pieces for Grett's downfall soon.
Tumblr media
can you really count the TikTok challenge as a "Jake immunity win"? literally everyone except Gabby and Grett won immunity in that challenge.
Tumblr media
for a moment, i really thought Connor was going to pull the Kim Possible "out there... in here..." thing.
Tumblr media
so true Jake
Tumblr media
this feels like a fanfic line
Tumblr media
you know Jake's having flashbacks to his last final 6 experience.
Tumblr media
well, while i certainly thought that it was Riya's time to go in terms of the cut, it does actually make more sense for Alec to go home here, no plot armor involved! (other than arguably the plot armor of not letting Alec win the challenge.) Alec is much more threatening in a final 3 situation because of his greater athleticism and intelligence as compared to Riya, and Grett is closer to Riya than Alec. it sucks to see one of my favorites go, but it's entirely logical.
Tumblr media
Riya out here projecting ("little toy")
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this was such a good moment. i especially love the storytelling without dialogue going on with Connor's reaction. anyways, if Riya wasn't going to win before, she's definitely not going to win now. you don't get hit with the "look at what a sorry state you're in" three episodes before the final and then snatch the W.
Tumblr media
maybe you shouldn't have fired and humiliated your employees live on TV, then.
Tumblr media
is this season going to end with Kristal resigning from the show? i thought that might happen to make way for Emily as the new host, but now that she's going more villainous, i don't think that'll be the cast anymore. maybe Derek and Trevor will take the show back over, as (I think) the more popular hosts in the fandom?
anyways. a solid episode! i think a good number of people saw the Connor idol play coming from a mile away, so it wasn't all that surprising that one of the major villains was going down. still, we had interesting strategy and some great character moments, especially for Connor. they're really making the best of his extended time in All Stars. and, hey, there are only two guys left, so maybe he'll make the finale! it doesn't really matter, though, because it's gonna be Jake. i'll keep riding the Jake winner train until he gets eliminated. not that i think that's going to happen ;)
see you next week!

I admit, this little heartwarming idea came from me, an angst loving eater of doves, surprisingly.
TFP Megatron learning how to do his human child’s hair, especially if they have thicker and kinkier hair like a 3b-4a type. It just tickles me pink at the image of the big, scary lord of the Deceptions learning how to braid his black child’s hair and how to put beads in it and see his kid wear a wide grin as they shake their head to make the beads clang together.
Oh, that's so cute. And strangely in character for this Megatron.
TFP Megatron was a top-tier gladiator, so he definitely knows the value and effect of presentation. Plus, it's an action that's similar to a Cybertronian act of affection on his own human child -performing maintenance for another as well as applying someone else's colors.
Between the crash courses and blogs from the internet, eye hustling hair stylists, and tips from the local parents from school events, he gets it down pat.
Because his claws are too thick for something that needs a little more finesse, he uses a holomatter to complete it. He mixes it between wood and metal.
Megatron would purposely put on beads with his particular shades of silver and purple. Your favorite beads that make a loud, drum-like clang when rattled are made from his own armor pieces. Discarded ones, of course.
He likes putting those on since it's not only easier for him to locate you whenever he pinges for your placement, but it also draws in some of your own biosignature to interact with him.

Marcus Millionaire and Sky's Bisexual Awakening
So. I was drawing Zapple for a thing ("is it something like what you did with Harmony-" no that's going to come after I've finished that unspecified thing. don't worry about it) and. Upon finishing Zapple and looking at how I drew her, I immediately went "oh, she has significantly more gender than I anticipated," and that led to me dropping the thing I was working on for a moment because seeing Zapple with this much gender gave me ideas and I needed to draw them out. Soooooo...spontaneous mini-headcanon time!
Tumblr media
Ta-da! Zapple now has a drag king persona. As a treat. She can have some fun with her gender she's allowed. Anyway
When she was young, Zapple got into the art of disguise as a way to uncover conspiracies. Practicing with Vera as her audience, Zapple actually managed to get fairly good at making a whole new person for her to play, even if it was a guy! ...And it was only after investing a lot of time into learning the art of disguise that Zapple realized that her pointed ears were a massive giveaway that she couldn't really do anything about. Oof
Then as a teen, she was meandering around, not really having anything in mind for the day, when she walked into Armor Town's lesbian bar, saw an advertisement for a drag show, and went "wait, hold on. I have an idea"
And thus, Marcus Millionaire was born! When she dons her elaborate suit, Zapple takes the role of an eccentric businessman and playboy extraordinaire, claiming to live in a luxurious mansion somewhere secluded on Siren Island. Why, if you don't believe him, just look at the power lines underground! Ever wondered what those are for? They're for his mansion!
If this is starting to sound familiar, that is because yes, Zapple did, in fact, base her drag king persona off her conspiracy theory about all the mysterious power lines underground leading to some rich guy's mansion. She did this for two reasons: 1.), she thought it would be funny, and 2.), she thought if she did this enough times the real rich guy would show up to disprove her claims and thus prove her right. Obviously, the entirety of Seven Sirens kinda threw a wrench in that whole thing. And in Marcus Millionaire as a whole. She's in the middle of reworking Marcus' story, because she is not throwing him away when she spent this much time on him
But! Onto the other side of this! I've said before that Sky is bisexual, and her first sapphic crush (albeit in looks only) was Rottytops. This has not changed, but it was not quite enough to get Sky to recognize that she was bisexual. Like, yes, Rottytops is attractive, but being in a relationship with her? Hahaha NO. Rottytops is so far removed from Sky's ideal partner that she was initially able to write off her attraction as just noticing her friend is pretty...up until she accidentally went to the wrong showing during the half-genie festival, and ended up at the drag show instead of the dancing competition between Vera and Shantae.
...Yeah, the persona of Marcus Millionaire managed to hit all of Sky's ideal traits in a partner - responsible? Well, he was running his own business, wasn't he? Grounded? A bit more shaky, but she could respect the choice in location, given that the only time anything went majorly wrong for Siren Island was literally only a few days prior. Strong? Well, Zapple isn't as built as Harmony, but she does have some muscle from forging armor and carrying around a whole set of it everywhere, and that was something that Sky managed to notice. It also helped that he had a bit of a "bad boy" vibe going for him, because while Sky did end up dropping that trait in her search for a relationship when she recognized it wasn't getting her anywhere good, at that point in time she was still reeling from the sting of Armor Baron's betrayal, so...yeah.
Marcus' performance was particularly enlightening for Sky, especially when he called her out specifically (and yes, that dialogue is paraphrased from that one Tumblr post about a guy who accidentally walked into a gay bar, saw a drag show, and proceeded to have a crisis about his sexuality in the middle of it), and after that, she kinda had to admit she was attracted to more than just guys...but, funnily enough, for something so pivotal to Sky's sexuality, neither Zapple nor Sky realized the other was involved for the longest time. Zapple was too busy with her performance to give much thought behind Sky's appearance beyond "huh, she looks familiar for some reason," and Sky was blue-screening so hard that she somehow managed to miss the pointed ears.
They only realized what happened when Sky actually got into her relationship with Bolo and recounted the incident as the driving factor behind her realizing she was bisexual. Zapple happened to be close enough to overhear this, put two and two together, and went "damn that was you? I thought you looked familiar," and proceeded to shed some light on her side of things. Sky was immediately mortified when she realized this, because Zapple is nearly as bad as Rottytops when it comes to relationship material (at least to her), and that combined with her, once again, somehow managing to miss the pointed ears was incredibly embarrassing.
Zapple just thought the whole thing was funny as fuck. She then offered to do a repeat performance for her and Bolo, and while Sky was like "hahaha please don't," Bolo, interested both as a fellow bisexual and also someone who likes to get a bit weird with his gender sometimes, immediately went "actually I would like to see it," and after some debate with Sky, convinced her to watch the encore as well. Sky's score on the repeat was "god that is still really attractive to me, FUCK," and Bolo's score was "yeah I can see how that would make Sky realize she was bisexual. 10/10"

Part 2 of Liochant focused rewrite, this time focusing on the fact that he is a skilled combatant, has no known past, and honestly no real certified looks. I acknowledge the fact that he has a minecraft block figure but so does Lucinda and we all know that that isn't what she looks like, the afro latina queen.
Since almost all of Liochant is up to interpretation, I have decided to abuse the fuck out of it. Which brings me back to writing a baseline background for him.
Liochant is from the desert part of Tu'la and much like many of the inhabitants of that area, has tattoos which he covers up as they are uncommon in Ru'aun. The tattoos are all inscriptions of protection and power, ones that bring him strength when needed and are beautifully done. All symbols of a warrior which hint at his skill.
Liochant is an incredibly skilled combatant, making the Dragon Ward despite the fact that he was "not to be trusted." In armor, he is a few leagues below Katelyn and Garroth, probably on par with Travis, who spent his entire life fighting imps. Without armor, he is on par if not better in some areas than the two knights, for wearing heavy metal armor in a desert is a death sentence, so one has to be as fast as a viper. In a fight with Katelyn he can certainly do some damage, especially if he is using khopesh his native weapon, with the fight most likely ending in a draw, with wins and loses on both sides but favoring Liochant. With Garroth, it truly is an anyones game because Garroth is sturdy, protected and has reach but Liochant is smaller (5'10 compared to Garroths massive size) and is fast.
Though, I do have to point this out that he has never fought without armor in Ru'aun yet. Liochant's goal is to not be feared but accepted.
Now the reason Liochant is so great is because he grew up in a temple of Menphia until he was 7, when the King of Tu'la invaded the deserts and burned down all temples for he is the only God to be worshipped. Soon after, the selfish Tiger King set up places for his personal entertainment, one such being a gladiator pit. A place to throw thieves and criminals to fight for his pleasure. Eventually, a starving 12 year old Liochant got caught stealing bread, and he had to choose to fight or be executed.
Liochant got better and better and moved higher up into the fighter ranks, each level coming with its own turmoils and benefits but unlike some of the other warriors, he wasn't treated to the same level of finery as he was a marked follower of menphia (when you reach 6 in the temple, a sun is tattooed onto your back with ink that makes it grow with you for Menphia is the furious sun). So, regardless of how skilled he was, he wasn't a worshipper of the king, but that still doesn't mean others didn't like him.
He did mange to hold onto his culture throughout, still managing to get tattoos despite the scars and learn. Many of the funders for the fight would "rent" a gladiator out, and he was smart, not intelligent, but smart. Eventually, he escaped when he was 20 and headed to Ru'aun, wanting to see what he could do to right the wrongs.
Essentially, my goal is to make him a character foil or counterpart to Garroth that I will go into later.
Ooo can’t wait to hear more.

TToFaË: Wandering and Woe (4)
<<< Previous Post | Masterpost | Next Post >>>
An entire day.
That’s how long it took for Fëor to climb the Falls of Mithrafëol.
Though the image of him standing victoriously above the valley would have been ideal, the truth was…quite different.
He was prostrated on the ground, gasping for air like a fish out of water.
He eventually flipped over, facing the sky above. The soft pink and orange hue of dawn was now a distant memory as the deep red and purple veil of dusk made way for the stars. It wouldn’t be long before Lua rose in the east, offering light back to Eldás before sharing it with Rëálna through the night.
“This…is going…to take…forever…”
Crawling his way to a nearby stone, he managed to sit and slump as he looked back beyond the falls. A great shadow stretched over the trees below, shrouding them in its cold embrace. The hopeless part of him yearned for it, especially as his eyes continued to wander eastward to where he assumed his home would be.
It was so far away.
The fire driving him towards Ërna was now a wavering flame, the warmth therefrom dwindling in the coolness of his growing despair.
But before the cold could reach his heart, he considered how Ërna must be feeling, alone in a hostile land. While it was true that Fëor never wandered far, Gälenor was still his home. Despite defying the will of the assembly, this land and its people would still welcome him over her. His empathy, the feeling of sorrow beyond his own, helped rekindle his dwindling spirit.
There was something he could still do.
He could get up.
He could go on.
“But first…”
He pulled a pouch off his belt and opened it up, revealing seeds, nuts, and berries that he had been gathering along the way.
“Dinner.”
And naturally, beady eyes watched him as he ate.
“Do spirits like you even eat?” Fëor huffed as he tossed a river-berry to the gylfëa begging him for food.
They didn’t need to eat, of course, but the squirrel-shaped spirit nevertheless felt left out without something to hold. Thus they sat together, munching and mulling things over before beginning the next part of their journey together. That is, until—
Snap!
Craaaack!
Whip!
—their peace was disturbed by the sound of snapping twigs and bending branches upriver. Fëor jolted, twisting around to look behind him.
Ching, chiiing.
Hoooofffff.
“Eeeasy, boy. Easy.”
Voices?! Fëor thought. So far, he hadn’t run into a single (non-spirit) soul since leaving the assembly—a fact he found…unsettling. Though antisocial by nature, he had still hoped to find people along the way to ask for clues, if nothing else. Comfier shelter would have been nice, too. Night was coming up quickly, after all.
Maybe I can finally get some help…and a proper rest.
The spirit-squirrel squeaked frantically, drawing his attention.
Naive! Fool! Caution!
That’s how he interpreted the behavior, and rightly so. Reprimanding himself for not learning his lesson after Tálnos’ meddling, Fëor frantically looked around for a place to take cover. He couldn’t afford to let his guard down.
It was a risk, but the best place he could find was a thicket just upriver from where he had been sitting. Despite being in the same direction as the sounds, he spotted a massive, moss-covered trunk sprouting with mushrooms there. It had fallen to its side and smelled like damp earth, but that was a source of comfort for him. Tucking himself inside, he watched through gaps in the wood and foliage to see who (or what) would come.
“They’re watching us, but haven’t made a single move.”
“I know. It’s infuriating.”
“I was prepared to fight, but this? This is exhausting.”
“How many days have we been going now? Ten? Thirteen? I can’t remember.”
“I’d rather they confront us already. How far must we go?”
“Stop complaining.”
Their armor gleamed through the grove as Eldás bestowed Her final blessing for the day—but upon them, marching through Gälenor with sword and spear, Her light seemed fell not fair; for they bore not art nor poetry, but weapons of war and plunder. Hence the hylëa of light was, in fact, distraught as the company before him distorted Her blessing to an ill end.
“Baiting them into ambushing us is secondary. Don’t forget that.”
“Yes, sir! Of course, sir!”
It didn’t make sense, but Fëor didn’t bother to understand. His shock and awe was more than enough to occupy him. Whether this troop from Pelría was overly confident or completely insane was, for him, not a concern. The thing bothering him most was…
That one. His aura. It’s…almost like Ërna’s.
Leading the troop with a white horse in tow was an Eldásr more splendid than the rest. He wore silver-blue armor made from a metal that Fëor had no chance of knowing to be cold-iron, a rare ore found only at the peaks of mountains surrounding the Meadow of Mýrás; and indeed, embossed upon his breastplate was Mýrás Herself.
It was his wind that Fëor questioned.
But…why is it so cold?
A chill ran down his spine as he beheld the self-made splendor of that company. How could a troop so fair, bathed in the blessings of light, be foul? Was it not a similar light that opened his eyes to the warmth of the world beyond? Perhaps these folk were like Ërna. Perhaps their wind was only cold from suffering, just as Fëor had himself to make it this far. Perhaps, then, they could be reasoned with. Perhaps they could even help him find Ërna.
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps—
Before he knew it, he rose to his feet.
His gylfëa guide vanished.
The wind shifted.
There was no going back now.

I've been thinking about my KN8/Kirby crossover, Starry Dreams, again. (My ass still hasn't done the extended versions for BotW/TotK or Blue Exorcist yet. 🥲) Thus why not share more stuff on the fluffier side of things. (We all need it due to the latest chapter.)
Kirby and Kafka's spiritual bond soon shows it affects both in more ways than one. You know how I said that our himbo could use Copy Abilities as a result? Well, any power boosts between the two are shared.
You guessed it then kudos! Kirby gains a new form, Kaiju Kirby, based on Kafka's own Kaiju nature. The appearance is very similar to how Copy Abilities are portrayed in Super Smash Bros which basically sums up to a 'cosplay' of the character.
I do plan on drawing this. Although it's 50/50 on whether Kirby looks like he's wearing a full body mask like the Corrin design or a removable mask that animates yet he can take it off. He is gonna be greenish obsidian in color and have back spikes because I loved it when Copy Abilities changed the pink puff's colors too. (Sucks they removed it over the years.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can bet your ass that Kafka fawned over Kirby's new form partly from his kaiju instincts. It's further proof this is his whelp. Kafka's instincts does lead him to do stuff such as proudly presenting the star warrior to his friends. Although now the Defense Force really thinks Kirby is No.8's biological offspring, lol.
Kafka attempts to piece together the 'lore' after each adventure in Dreamland. Considering he cleans up Kaiju corpses for a living, he would try to understand what him and Kirby went against throughout the few years. Although Kafka still wonders who has been leaving tidbits on collectible figures or random notes(based on in-game Pause Screen Descriptions for Bosses).
Our himbo finally finds a new place to call home, an old farmhouse out in the countryside. There are a few reasons for the decision. Kirby has more room to roam about or enjoy a nice nap, the Robobot doesn't have to be holed up in Reno's basement anymore, and Landia has a place to rest. (You can say Kafka's hunch about the four headed dragon wanting to live with them became true.)
Kirby and No.8 grew quite popular amongst the public. The Defense Force did try to put a handle on it as not all of them were keen about the vigilantes. Futaba and Ami threw a massive wrench in their plan when the former began carrying plushies based on the two. Something which led to tons of merchandise that expanded in variety often should No.8 call upon an ally(usually Landia) or Kirby summons the Robobot.
The Third Division gets back together after the base is fully repaired. (Rookies take temporary apprenticeships with the other departments as to fit canon.) Kafka's apprenticeship is put on hold once his secret becomes known to the whole place.
The rest of the Defense Force are unaware as a case is being built for Hibino. Soshiro and Mina want to make sure their friend alongside his companions stay safe from the more dangerous members in the force.(Obvious corrupt higher ups/mad scientists.) This includes looking over the rules and setting up procedures based on available loopholes.
Kirby became a sort of unofficial mascot for the Third Division especially with the female officers. It isn't uncommon to find the pink puffball napping next to Bakko(Mina has taken pictures), doodling as Okonogi works on the Robobot Armor, or playing some games with off-duty Rookies. Kafka is happy that everyone is getting along.
Now I have been thinking about an alternate version of Starry Dreams. This one has a childhood sweethearts type pairing between Kafka, Soshiro, and Mina with Skully showing up around canon. Plus my ass couldn't resist the look on the latter two's faces when their husband comes home with Kirby in hand alongside a towed spaceship.
Kafka would already have the barn house since he figures both of his partners prefer some peace and quiet. They do learn that our himbo can transport others much earlier as Soshiro ends up being an impromptu ally for Kirby 64. How it happens is the two decided to have a lazy day and slept in while Mina was making breakfast. She unfortunately had to watch Soshiro vanish alongside Kafka to Dreamland.
You can bet both our himbo's partners broke some Defense Force rules to help him in these adventures. This includes stealing and modifying their combat suits. It only grows when Kafka's powers alongside Skully come into the picture.
Nothing like an unlikely family to turn the world of Kaiju No.8 upside down.

DA world state question 16 for all three?
Thank you, I really like this question!
16. Do they get sentimental about their weapons or armour?
Rein cares a lot about her armor and weapons, but in most cases it is due to a) wanting to keep them as useful and in good shape as possible and b) not liking changes when not necessary. The exception would be the Cousland sword, that she managed to save during the attack on the castle. She kept it close all the time and wouldn't allow anyone to even touch it. She lost it in Ostagar tower (Flemeth didn't bother to take it) and when she woke up and realized that the sword is gone, she took it only a bit better than Sten ( = she didn't murder anyone). Rein and her team managed to find that sword when they returned to Ostagar. After giving it some thought, she trusted Alistair with it - the sword was a little too heavy for Rein's dual wielding fighting style and Rein understood that she cannot afford to sacrifice her fighting power to sentiment. When she reunited with Fergus, he took the sword with him.
Garrett likes having things but is rather chill with the idea of loosing them or giving them away. He would comment loudly how much he misses "that cool gauntlet from the treasure chest :((" but in his heart he wouldn't really care that much.
Lizzie can be very sentimental about many little things (jewelry, books, drawings, mugs, scarves, the list goes on) but armor and weapon would not be on the top of the list. Whatever she had from the Trevelyans was gone as she was disowned soon after the Conclave (also the stuff she had at home was chosen by her parents, not her, so no sentiments there). As for the armor and weapons she's got from the Inqusition, she really likes some of them (especially the beautifully crafted composite bow and the iconic red coat :D) but most of the items are treated as part of her Inquisitor persona, not really her. After loosing her arm, Lizzie was devastated that she could never use a bow again. When she felt better (physically and mentally) she mentioned that she wanted to start learning swordsmanship, even though she's never liked using swords before. Cullen, in secret, requested a lightweight, rune-encrusted sword from Wade to suit Lizzie's needs the best he could. And it worked - Lizzie cherishes that gift very much.

20. do they have a “comfort outfit” or a go to look? if so, why did they choose those pieces?
26. what is their favorite snack food?
(for whomstever you'd like to answer these for >:3)
>:3 (you get Chuu Tuesday n Tangy cos Chuu+2 are my main(s) and Tangy is tapdancing on my brain) (oh god this gets long I think about clothes a lot)
Tumblr media
I have a screenshot for Chuu cos she wears this SO MUCH. It’s my go-to Sage/Machinist glam lmao. (Which means Astro also ends up in this a lot lmao) if I can ever learn how to refit shoes to bunny+ I’ll fit the damn street shoes somehow lol Chuu tends to wear stuff with pockets (won’t carry a bag under normal circumstances. That’s what other people are for???) in screenshots I’m constantly taking off her facemask and sometimes her goggles but those are a frequent piece because she’s Paranoid about being recognized- but the goggles and mask themselves are becoming relatively identifiable… she’s gonna have to find a new face covering in dawntrail I think lmao. She actually doesn’t Love closed toe shoes and sneakers that much but Lab Safety :/ if she wasn’t working with anything that might catch fire, spark, spill acid, crush her big ol paws, she’d just wear sandals. Also clothing should be easy for her to just pull on; the level of visual intricacy is not considered so long as it takes her about a minute total to actually squirm into. (Good luck… making her put on Armor… it has to be serious) [Chuu’s go to snack is carrots/celery/bell pepper/apple/cabbage, chopped into bite sizes because its not juicy or wet and thus won’t leave stuff on her fingers/gloves to wipe off while she’s working. And she’ll just mindlessly eat it if it’s put nearby. Easy meal.]
Tuesday doesn’t much have a ‘comfort’ outfit but when Chuu finalizes his body and all that’s showing are traces of thermal thermal venting she *gifts* him a variety of crop tops. Loose, comfy, and people can see his very normal looking stomach which used to need coverage from armor or fabric to protect the innards (no skin; just mechanical guts). (He does have a go to color though, which is millioncorn yellow and orange… orange. I can’t remember the dye name off the top of my head 🫢 I think it’s Pumpkin…) [Tuesday doesn’t have a go-to snack food for himself :( but he likes making thumbprint cookies for others to snack on uvu and pleasing to the eye sliced veggies for dipping! Even if Chuu doesn’t notice that the carrots were cut into stars/hearts/diamonds]
🐈 Tangy’s go to outfits shift as she uh, changes, but the tendency is Sleeveless shirt, loose pants but they need to be cinched at the bottom somehow or Shorts. And closed toe shoes, she doesn’t wanna kick somethin and stub a toe lol. She can be convinced into armor, especially after ARR, but she doesn’t seem to enjoy it much. Makes her feel. Squished. (I did briefly imagine her in full plate with one of those deep armhole slashed tank tops over it and now I’m mad Im not confident enough in my drawing capabilities to DRAW IT lmao) [Her favorite go to snack is fish jerky. Strong flavor, very tasty. It’s easy to find her pack… 🫢 she also really likes pastries with sweet or savory fillings uvu]

i'm holding on and hanging by a thread (3.7k)
Tumblr media
Learning how to exist without sound was a challenge, especially since you weren’t exactly in a place with accessibility options to make it easier, and you felt like a pouting child as you continued after Pero. Staying too close to the water wasn’t ideal, eventually those people would either go around it or just cross through it, so he’d packed you back up and put you both back on the move. You couldn’t communicate with him except for the brief moments when he’d stop to rest, trading small sips of water, and it as annoying but he only really gave you one or two word answers if he even answered your questions at all.
You didn’t know if he was just the usual silent type or if he just hated having to pull out the notepad to write everything down for you, which you could certainly understand but it wasn’t exactly your fault that your hearing was shot, and it made you feel worse that he wasn’t even trying to include you in his thought process or even explain what he was looking for to you. Lack of survival knowledge aside you weren’t blind and if you knew what you were looking for there was a chance you could help. But even the idea of upsetting him terrified you, he could easily just… leave you behind if he wanted to and that scared you.
Being stranded in a city or a foreign country was entirely different than being stranded in the wild somewhere, you could handle a different city or country because there were cell towers and hospitals and means of getting home easily. Along with ways to track you when people realized you were missing, if for some reason you weren’t able to make the calls yourself. This was a different monster entirely, a different realm of knowledge entirely, and you felt useless here; Pero had been kind in not outright telling you that he would have an easier time without you.
Tears formed in your lashes that you stubbornly wiped away, refusing to draw more attention to yourself than you already did since he kept looking back at you when you so much as stumbled on the uneven ground, and there was a part of you that was relieved you hadn’t worn your beach shoes on the plane like you’d initially planned. Pero’s big hand gripped your hanging arm, right by the bend in your elbow, and stopped you from wiping at your eyes and you were reminded that he wasn’t a gentle person with how tightly he was gripping you since you could feel it under the bulk of the jacket. He made sure you were looking at him and slowly, so you could understand them, mouthed words to you.
I know you are scared, but you are doing good.
The praise made you fluster a little but even that couldn’t combat the helplessness you felt completely, you nodded and let him continue to lead you since your legs were starting to ache, he kept holding onto your arm now with his axe in his left hand. Pero stopped at what looked like some sort of cliff wall, it was a very tall cliff and the fall from above could kill a person so an ambush from that high was unlikely, but you had a feeling it was the very clean looking stream that you were beside making him contemplate this spot.
He held his hand out to you, like he was telling a dog to ‘stay’ or something, and began to walk around the area to do whatever it was he needed. He was lightly scuffing the ground with his boots, inspecting the sides of trees and the bushes, before he seemed to be happy and nodded. Pero’s scribbles from writing fast were hard to decipher, as he handed the notebook to you, but thankfully you had known plenty of people who couldn’t write that well so it wasn’t too hard.
I will begin chopping wood to make us cover, I need you to make a fire pit.
You nodded, you could do the fire pit, now that he’d had you help make one before; it was a bit of a challenge finding a rock that was able to tear at the harder soil around the cliff face, and your already sore arms were protesting but you kept going. It was so brief a thought, the smallest and most accidental of things, but you wondered how Keegan would have reacted to see you doing this and just like that your eyes filled with tears. It was like a dam had burst as you began to sob, using the rock in your hands to expel the anger and fear on the ground since you didn’t know if he was even alive, and your hands were burning in pain by the time Pero came back and took the rock from you. The pile of wood he’d brought was dropped beside the pit you’d started as he pulled you into his lap, after sitting down, and buried your face into his stinky shirt to soften the sound of you crying.
It was embarrassing even though you knew, from a logical point, that it was normal to feel this overwhelming fear and sadness. It was traumatic, what happened to you, so who could expect you to keep it together? A plane crash, crazy people covered in blood kidnapping the survivors, you killed someone! But with Pero being entirely okay, seemingly unaffected other than the cut that nearly took his eye, all you could feel was a shadow of guilt for how much you were starting to fall apart. You felt his chest vibrating and couldn’t tell if he was talking or just making sound, not that you’d know the difference at all anyway, but it was comforting nonetheless because it was all you had.
As your crying subsided Pero let you go, inspecting your hands and shaking his head as he began unwrapping and cleaning the cuts on them at the sight of blood staining through the fabric, but he didn’t look angry or anything. Which actually did nothing for your mood, in fact you felt guiltier than before, especially when you saw how red and inflamed the skin around your cuts had become. Infection was not ideal in any situation but especially here, especially on a self-inflected injury, and there was a small little part of you that wanted him to just leave you here.
“I’m sorry- I’m so sorry I can’t- you’re forced to take care of me when you’d probably have an easier time on your own.” Pero didn’t stop tending to your hands but he did shake his head, peeking up at you with a firm look on his face, but he let you cry out all your feelings after finishing your hands and getting the fire going. Pero grabbed something out of his bag and you felt your throat tighten at the sight of Pedge, your little stuffed otter that came with you everywhere, and having Pedge in your arms helped ground you. Familiar, comforting, and just something that was so small but Pero had noticed.
Was it weird to kind of be falling in love with the man just because of that?
Pero finished building the fire, lining the pit with rocks and then he began working at dragging logs from smaller -thinner- trees over to build a very basic wood shelter. You needed something to do, something you could help with, since you couldn’t hear the crackle of the fire or the sound of the wood being sawed at by Pero’s knife to slot the logs together; and you went to rustle through the bags before grabbing some of the beef jerky and holding a bite of it to Pero’s mouth. He glanced at you before taking it right from your hand, his lips brushing your fingertips in the process, and your face felt warmer than usual as you took a bit for yourself and returned Pedge to the safety of the bags.
Your eyes hurt from crying, you were still scared out of your mind and your hands hurt almost as bad as the muscles in your legs, but Pero was being kind by helping you and there’d be time to freak out later. Pero handed you a pair of binoculars with an appraising glance over your face, the message was pretty clear that he wanted you to keep watch, and you began to look around through the magnified view; nothing out of the ordinary caught your attention, there were rabbits and squirrels all around at least.
“Pero.” You whispered his name, unable to comprehend what you were seeing when you shifted your attention toward your left, and he pulled the binoculars from your hand to look. You felt the way his body tensed up as you gripped his forearm, the way his body moved like he was panting hard, and you couldn’t hold it in. Heaving and vomiting up everything in your stomach, the absolute horror of the situation starting to sink in. In the distance you’d seen a camp, already meaning you’d have to move again, but at that camp was hanging skins to dry with more of those bloody people using primitive tools to hack at hunks of meat.
Human skins hanging to dry, which told you what you needed to know about the meat.
Pero hauled you up, when your heaving was nothing more than dry attempts your body made to react to what you’d seen, and his panicked look as he picked up the bag and urged you to keep moving had you stumbling over your feet but obeying. It was going to be a long day of trying to find somewhere even marginally safe, and you were exhausted from being awake for so long already, but the fear and horror kept your mind from letting you actually feel the exhaustion. Pero had his axe in hand, urging you on with gentle tugs of your wrist or his hand on your lower back, and it felt like a mild relief when you reached a rocky outcrop with a very narrow entrance to what might be a cave.
He went in first, leaving you with the bag, only taking his flashlight and the axe. You wanted to follow him but knew better, just waiting, tugging at your ear lobes and wishing not for the first time that your hearing wasn’t shot. You waited patiently, keeping a hold of the chunky stick Pero had armed you with temporarily as you tried not to think about what you’d just learned, back pressed to the rocks and hood drawn to be as invisible as possible. After what felt like eons Pero motioned for you to follow him inside, this cave looked like it had already experienced a cave in since there were a lot of rocks piled up at the back and Pero made sure to put a lot of smaller rocks around the entrance. You didn’t get why, yourself, but didn’t ask.
The fading light of day brought another problem, even in the jacket you were freezing and it was only going to get colder. Pero disappeared through the opening, leaving you with the flashlight, and you shivered before drawing your legs close to your chest. He returned well after dark with only his penlight to guide him, using his very limited supply of propane for his single burner camping stove to fry up the greens he’d foraged and washed, and you whispered your thanks when he sat beside you so the pair of you could eat out of the tin frying pan. The padded gel mat he had with him was unfolded and Pero sat down on it, tugging you into his lap before draping his sleeping bag over both of you, and you could feel him speaking right beside your ear even though you couldn’t hear it.
It was the beginning of warmth returning to you, being full, and just general exhaustion that made you fall asleep so quickly. Not noticing that Pero gripped his axe tightly or the way he shifted so that he was the one closest to the cave opening.
You woke up to a loud sound right in your ears, not even registering that it was sound that woke you up for a moment as you blinked against the bright light coming through the cave opening, and then it happened again and you went entirely still for two reasons. One being the stiffness against your ass and lower back that you felt since you’d snuggled against Pero in your sleep, even through his cargo pants you could feel the heft of him and it was a little distracting, but the major reason being that you could hear him snoring. Like, full on revving chainsaw levels of volume that had to be from his sleep position, it was loud but you didn’t even care.
The fact that you could hear it was more than enough for you to feel boundless relief, even if he didn’t talk to you now that you could hear him you weren’t completely useless. Was it likely you might have some permanent problems? Of course, that was always the case with hearing loss due to noise, but for now you would be content with what you had. Pero groaned when you accidentally wiggled, to keep quiet over your excitement, and you felt his hold against you tighten as he pulled you closer and nuzzled his face into the space between your shoulder blades against your jacket.
Part of you was tempted to relax against him, to let him think you were asleep still, but he woke up too soon for you to even attempt that; you felt his grip loosen and heard the soft curse he whispered as he tried to subtly lean back.
“It’s okay, I’m awake. Don’t apologize, Pero.” You turned after carefully moving away from him, so you didn’t rub up against him more than you had to, and you realized he hadn’t exactly figured out you could hear him now.
“Way to go, pendejo, first pretty girl to even look twice at you and you scare her off with a raging hard on. Why am I always fucking up?”
“You didn’t- you didn’t fuck up, Pero. I, uh, I know its a thing and it’s okay- wait you think I’m pretty?” It wasn’t like you lacked confidence in your appearance but you weren’t exactly clean, wearing your favorite outfit, or smelling particularly fresh so that definitely didn’t help you think he had a good opinion of your looks at the moment.
“Bonita, you can hear me?”
“Oh, uh, yea I woke up to you snoring-“ His loud annoyed groan, definitely aimed at himself, almost made you giggle as he interrupted you. You covered his mouth with one of your bandaged hands and giggled at his reaction.
“Shut up, it’s sweet how you chose to sleep in a way that kept us warm but made you uncomfortable, I appreciate the hell out of you. Anyway, I woke up because you were snoring in my ear, which I couldn’t help but get excited because I could hear again, so it looks like that was temporary but there could still be lasting damage.” Pero was staring at you while you removed your hand and you watched the way his flat expression turned into a soft smile, which he promptly dropped as he nodded and began getting up, so you hastily began helping him fold the mat and sleeping bag back up.
“I do. Think you’re pretty.” Pero’s remark was so off-hand that you almost thought he was talking to himself until you looked up and saw that he was looking at you.
“I had- I planned to spend a day on the beach, instead of backpacking as soon as I arrived, just to maybe get the opportunity to see you when we got to the resort area.” His confession made you smile, knowing that had you met him under those circumstances you would have been more than thrilled with the handsome man flirting with you, and you hoped he could see how sincerely interested in him you were too. If you made it out of this you’d need a lot of therapy before you saw yourself looking for romance but Pero was definitely your type.
“Didn’t come alone but part of the point of the trip was for- for Keegan and I to hook up with people and just enjoy some time away from work for the first time in two years.” Even thinking about your best friend made your heart hurt, knowing what you did about those people that were here, and Pero’s eyes softened with sympathy.
“As soon as we find a way to get help I will go try and find him myself, Bonita, if you want me to.” You felt your eyes water and shook your head, his offer was sweet and came from a well meaning place but you were a realist and knew that it was unlikely you would find your friend in time if he was still alive.
“We don’t even know where the other half of the plane went, for all we know it broke off over water or something, what we need to focus on is getting out of this alive. I don’t- I can break down over this later.” Pero nodded and told you about the food he’d foraged, fiddleheads and wild leeks, so that you’d know what they looked like while walking but he did hold your hand now instead of your arm. His thumb rubbing against the back of your bandaged hand idly, and he pulled out the walkie-talkie looking thing he’d been fiddling with the day before too.
You spent another large portion of the day with Pero trying to get his satellite phone to work as you walked while you kept your eyes open for more edible plants, the signal wasn’t good here and he theorized some sort of interference and that meant there was somewhere around here that had power. That or there was something in the mountains around you interfering but both of you were holding out hope that it was the former, seeing as whatever it had been caused the plane to lose its navigation capabilities long enough to have the pilots crash.
Pero proved to just be a quieter person, only showing real concern whenever you would have flashes of high-pitched ringing in your ears -tinnitus was something he was familiar with, being a combat veteran- and he even let you have his hunting knife as a weapon once he was sure you could grip it okay despite the very obvious signs of infection lingering in your hands. He had used as much antibacterial as you were willing to risk using after dousing your cuts in peroxide, apologizing as you cried from how badly it hurt, and you knew he was rushing to find safety for you both.
With any sort of infection the clock was ticking and even you knew that if it got worse, if it spread, that there was little you could do without proper medical intervention.
It was around midday that you were stopped by the sound of footsteps all around you, the cracking of leaves and sticks sounded so far away and so close, and Pero let out a curse when the cause came into sight. It was horrific, looking like women that were fused together into one monster since there were breasts and vulvas on the damn thing, and you barely managed to contain your scream as Pero ordered you to run. He was keeping close to you instead of running past you, the claw-like appendages at the end of the creature’s legs lashing out but his axe swings were able to at least do some minor damage since it started to slow with every cut to the ‘feet’ that it took.
Spotting a narrow cave opening felt like a moment of reprieve, with Pero following closely behind, and the thing couldn’t reach you due to its strangely fused body being unable to contort to the size of the cave entrance.
“What the fuck is that?” Pero’s question made you shake your head, you could hardly believe what you were seeing too, the no faces at all and it had two sets of deformed arms while the entire upper body was fused together with a hood of skin over their ‘heads’ while their lower bodies were all like one big opening where their genitals fused.
“A fucking monster, or something, we’re going to need more weaponry if we can even stand a chance at stopping that thing. How has that slipped by any sort of government radar?!” You didn’t know what to do, a knife and a camping axe were not going to cut it, and Pero looked around the cave with his flashlight before leading you deeper through the tunnels. You could tell you two hadn’t been the only ones here, there were backpacks that had been discarded and old bloodstains on the ground, and your grip on the knife tightened when Pero found one body that looked really fresh and the man had a gun on his belt.
The tunnels were connected, since you found an exit nowhere near your initial entrance, and Pero used his binoculars to spot the abandoned stand shelter in the distance before hustling you through the meadow. The grass was high so the pair of you kept low but were able to move relatively fast, though he did spot some of the cannibals watching from a distance, and he used the height of the stand to look around some more after you both scaled up. Your legs were screaming and you couldn’t help but lay down, limbs akimbo as you panted hard from the workout, but you were alive and so far you were safe.
“I will have to set up some sort of protection around the bottom of the stand, Bonita, you must stay up here since we cannot risk you doing so much that you spread any remnants of the infection in your hands.” You nodded and just stayed on the floor, panting and staring up at the wood and thatch ceiling, and all you could do was listen to the grunting and chopping of wood as Pero worked below you.
You wouldn’t know it but this was when the fever set in.

Dancer of Destiny
Yup! Another Trollhunters AU but with a rather delightful twist when it comes to Jim. There are gonna be two flavors: one human and one full troll! I can forget the dash of Monster Hunter inspiration either. Don't need to know about MH for this as I'm keeping it simple and limited.
Trolldancer
A seven year old Jim begins having very strange yet very real dreams of another world. One where monsters and people unlike anything he ever seen tend to collide. Jim is taken in by a Monster Hunter by the name of Val'tah Choso alongside his monster ward Buena, a Will o' Wisp Magnamalo. (Old drawing)
Tumblr media
In the waking world, he lives a normal life with his mother and friend completely unaware about what happens when he sleeps. Jim learns to dance under Val'tah's tutelage upon discovering his caretaker's personal hobby but also former dream. Although the lessons of monster hunting doesn't fail to sink its claws when the young boy turns 13.
Nor the domino effect when Jim soon learns about the world underneath his feet but also his dreams hold more influence than he thought. Sometimes a dance can change destiny just like any blade.
Jim isn't the Trollhunter but he will assist them whether it be Kanijar or someone else. Young Lake bears magic that is tied to not only the dances he was taught but also his experiences in the Monster Hunter world. I will tell you at least two parts of Jim's magic.
Offensive Style which is summoning weapons and armor he acquired to apparitions based on monsters he fought to his aid. When it comes to his apparitions, think of Bending from ATLA mixed with ROTTMNT Raphael's magic in how they operate. If the monster has an element or specific nature such as being venomous, then his apparition shall have that same ability.
Wild Style can cause various effects such as empower allies, debuff enemies, healing or even change the weather. It just depends on what he performs especially if it encompasses a monster.
Example: Scarlet Feast, Malzeno
-Every successful attack drains bits of the victims' strength and heal Jim. Any beneficial boosts can also be stolen. Once a certain amount of damage is done, "Bloodening" mode triggers boosting Jim's power and speed for a short time.
Jim's unique magic definitely put him in the line of fire during one earlier clash between the Kanijar and Bular(not the canon battle.) Something that leads to him being called 'Trolldancer' as his current clothing made him look like a troll from a distance. Trust me when I say both sides are looking for Jim and it drags the dancer's companions into the madness too.
Protector of Dancing Souls
A mysterious crystal gives life to a troll whelp immune to sunlight. He is raised by a mysterious tribe of Felynes and given the name Avalon. (I couldn't resist a Troll Jim being raised by cats, well, cat based monsters).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He learned not only from his tribe but also the people he tends to spy on, especially hunters. Avalon took the role of a protector, at first leading others to safety until an encounter with a dangerous monster gave him reason to fight. This earned him the Monster name 'Petronion, Dancer of Souls' and the Fanged Beast classification amongst the hunting world.
On one fateful day, a teenage Avalon crashes into Arcadia, badly injured from a fight with a dangerous unknown monster. (10 years before the events of the show.) He is found by Barbara and nursed back to health while given the name Jim. Ends up meeting Toby two weeks after his arrival as the child had a scheduled visit the nurse accidentally forgot.
Over the years, both help the misplaced troll become accustom to this new world and he shares his knowledge in return. It isn't much longer before one midnight run goes wrong as Jim encounters a battle between two certain trolls. Remember that our troll boy has no knowledge about what he is nor if there are more like him.
Jim only interferes when Bular's temperament marks him as a major threat and chases him off. He flees before Kanijar could stop the young troll who is facing an existential crisis. Everything Jim knows about himself has been flipped on its head and now he struggles to understand his origins.
It doesn't help when certain Trollmarket denizens seek out the clearly young troll before the Gumm Gumm Prince with his forces find him first. Or for Jim's new family to get dragged into the crossfire.
Now the young troll doesn't have a human disguise and it'll probably take halfway through the first maybe second season before he gets one. Jim uses the Dance of the Ancient Phantom, Chameleos, to wander Arcadia without being seen. Like his human counterpart, his magic functions the same way.
-Makes the wielder invisible for long periods of time unless hit. Jim can create thick mist to shroud his form and even forge poison clouds.
He often uses this to spy on people, wander around, observe Barbara at her job or follow Toby in school. Jim may have tripped his human friend's bullies and mother's harsh coworkers. He is quite protective of people he sees as kin. A lean yet firm body type, similar to Angor Rot albeit with more muscle, makes stealth stupid easy.
Also I can't resist imagining this particular Troll Jim being horrified to learn that trolls like to eat cats. He was essentially raised by cat people so the idea would probably make him hurl. Jim definitely bonded with Toby over the whole feline topic in general.
That's it for now! Until next time folks, I'll see you back in Arcadia!
