#wacky watermelons#the tag function my beloved#im taking it here because i feel a little bad and a little like im talking to a wall (/nm)#but i do really need to get out:#i enjoy that the medium does allow an actual acknowledgement of edgeworth and wright's re-meeting#and how often wright refers to edgeworth as the demon prosecutor#and how despite the edgeworth is still considered a friend (sort of)#at least in two separate lines#one referring to wright owing larry a favor 'and another friend'#and another when maya says all his friends call him nick. he glances at edgeworth and says 'well. larry does'#also also just some of these songs fuck so hard#'red white adieu' and 'red white and you (reprise)' have some great lines that just sound. so nice#i genuinely could write an analysis paper on 'decree of the prosecutor'#and! and! motifs!!! august day! fight like a fey! decree of the prosecutor!#hell im pretty sure von karma has a motif and his song's in the second act#that red white case is the second worst day of edgeworth's life.. so far!
