#i dunno if Oda ever said anything about this but revisiting early wano I think Kiku and Denjiro were supposed to have switched#And Denjiro was going to be revealed to be the character we knew as Kiku#My evidence is mostly that in the flashback to just after the gang arrives in the present#Kiku's face is hidden in shadow and her ponytail looks like Denjiro's ponytail#But in any case I think it's safe to say a lot of plot threads got abandoned in writing Wano#Remember when Trusru was an actual character and Kin'emon was upset he couldn't visit his wife#Like we were supposed to be invested in their relationship#And then we see pretty much Kin'emon's whole life#and it's never even mentioned that he got married??#Also why'd he dye his hair?#or stop dying his hair??#it's anime I can't tell what's natural#one piece#kozuki hiyori
