the version of post-portal 2 wheatley that exists in my shitty isekai story i’ve been on-and-off writing in my head since 2017 is better than all the other ones bc mine stays a bad person
#his ass is NOT getting redeemed#he’s not villain mode it seems like he’s genuenly trying to be a good person for sake of it#but over time it slowly becomes obvious that he was doing it to make himself feel better <3 also i’ve thought abt killing him off before but#he’s still too interesting i can squeeze some more story out of him#idk i think wheatley just immediately being good post-game is so boring to me#like the only reason he ever helped chell in the first place was to save his own skin#keeping him selfish but having him able to conceal it better is more interesting to me idk#like the fact that it SEEMS like he’s trying to be good to make up for all the shit he pulled#makes everyone want to forgive him but in reality he’s just as selfish as ever#i dunno i need to replay portal 2 get some more inspo#maybe i’m mischaracterizing but idc it’s a fun side to him#sassy speaks#delete later
