controversial opinion mayhaps but i don’t think it’s appropriate to refer to a neurodivergent person acting out or being overly emotional as them “throwing a tantrum”

#rory yells at cloud #yes this is about travis mcelroy. i know next to nothing about the guy but doesnt he have adhd and some kind of personality disorder #ive gathered that what he did was embarrassing and youre def allowed to criticise him for it but.#i dont think its very appropriate or funny to refer to his actions as tantrum throwing #same reason why referring to autistic meltdowns as 'tantrums' is incredibly uncool and ableist #idk. i struggle to regulate my emotions bc of my adhd and the way hes been treated over this doesnt sit right with me
