I find antinatalism deeply cringe, not because I'm entirely unsympathetic to it but because it seems like the height of self righteousness (a state I am far from inexperienced with, tbf) to assume my opinion about having children is relevant to literally anyone who might have children

#also were anyone to ask ME “do you think i should have kids?” my only answer would be “that seems really hard.”#idk like im pro birth control & abortion obviously but i also like. figure kids just kinda happen and mostly have throughout most of history #and people have always had kids and figured out how to Deal #individual people should absolutely have the option to hard nope out of it but like #i dont think having kids when youre poor is immoral or anything and theres not a way to like. form an idea about Who Should Have Children #that doesnt dovetail real fucking hard into like reproductive oppression.#and idk i feel like answering that with Nobody Should Have Kids is just kind of a useless position #like that can be your opinion but its not like it. does anything.
