1 more conduit headcanon. i think gibraltar pays attention to a lot of the new candidates to become legends (my evidence: he is nice and i love him and in the comics he was the first to welcome nate phua ((ballistics son)) when he was accepted) and put in a good word for her. maybe she started her podcast early or just did EXCEPTIONAL in her qualifying matches because of her shields and demeanor.. why would he NOT want to use his status to give her a little nudge. i just think its such a cool start to their friendship just before s19
