Here is a collection of my thoughts about We Are ships sex lives because I, an asexual, have them for some reason and need to get them out- (What is We Are doing to me?)

TANFANG

According to novel fans, Tan is the top and Fang is a power bottom; however, the show implies Fang is the top. This means the correct answer is they are switches, but we knew that.

Tan loves to get romantic with Fang. Rose petals, scented candles, whether in the bathroom or in the bedroom Tan commits to the most tender of sex. It is canon Tan does the come hither motion, and as much as Fang puts up a fight he adores it.

Though some days Fang gets into his head about the balance of their relationship and encourages Tan to take. Sometimes, Fang just wants Tan to use his dick like a joystick, and Tan is more than happy to jump into his lap.

Their relationship started from mutual punching, and their canon (implied) sex scene has them wrestling. Therefore, they are the roughest couple in bed. They absolutely have a mutual marking kink shown through hickies and flat-out bites. Some flavor of BDSM, though they (or any of the couples) aren't hardcore with it.

Aftercare game is strong with these two, and they preen at being the one to take care of the other with their mutual taking care of each other kink.

QTOEY

They have sex but in a very (demi)aro(demi)ace way if that makes sense? They have a code in their phone for when one of them is horny and it is "Draw me like one of your Thai boys" (Toey came up with it, Q couldn't think of anything better).

When they do have sex in their own private enclosure and not in Peem's childhood home, it is very artistic. Q has painted Toey's nudes (the only nudes of his boyfriend he has), and he hung it up in their bedroom (fortunately, they aren't the hangout house so they don't have to mad dash to hide it). Q has painted Toey's skin as foreplay, change my mind (you can't).

Before the nudes were painted, Q joked Toey should get dolled up for it and something inside Toey pinged. Since then, Q will teasingly call Teoy "doll" alongside his usual "muse". Their closet has a section dedicated to lingerie (honestly, most of the time they don't even fuck in them. Q just likes drawing and painting tasteful nudes of his boyfriend, and Toey likes being Q's model).

Regardless, the actual action is full of reverence and body worship and Q insists on fucking Toey in natural light because it makes him look more gorgeous than he already is. They have the weakest aftercare game, but considering the couples they're up against it isn't a surprise. Most points are deducted for Q vowing to never paint Toey again as he scrubs his boyfriend's skin. Toey giggles knowing he'll convince Q otherwise.

PHUMPEEM

It doesn't matter what the novel/series says, Phum is a bottom. He wants to be in Peem's lap and monopolize all his attention. Riding is his favorite sex position. The man wants to be railed by his hot artist boyfriend, and can we blame him? (Peem really likes it when Phum is on his back because Phum's hair is a national treasure.)

They do have some pet play going on. It isn't super hardcore, but it is there. After all, Peem canonically calls Phum "puppy" and I think Phum should get to call Peem "kitten" (turnabout is fair play).

There is a reason I placed PhumPeem's section after QToey, and it is because Phum was the person Toey asked to go lingerie shopping with him (lets be real, Toey is not going on his own the first time and Phum is the least embarrassing option). Phum comes home with a few things of his own, and Peem is relentless with the pillow princess teasing as he rails his boyfriend.

PhumPeem are tied with TanFang on best aftercare game, because both couples have a mutual taking care of each other kink.

Oh, right, they have sex on the beach at some point. Also, they are known for fucking in any body of water they can (which wasn't what Peem meant by the water being his safe place, but he's not arguing).

CHAINPUN

They are the kinkiest couple here.

They may not be the most consistently kinky, but they are the most varied. All Pun has to do is bat his eyelashes at Chain, and Chain will indulge Pun in his latest fantasy. Out of all of them, they are the most likely to commit to actual roleplay scenarios. The most often one, of course, being a doctor one (though Chain will make sure to remind Pun he isn't that type of doctor). It doesn't matter though because Pun finds him immensely sexy in the coat.

Although they do get up to roleplay, sometimes Chain wants to spend his time adoring Pun. The body worship is off the charts with these two, and Chain makes sure to love and worship every inch of Pun. Pun loves it, and preens under the adoration though Chain can be torturous in his foreplay.

Soft top Chain, but we all know that.

Honestly, there isn't a couple in We Are that doesn't go all out for aftercare. ChainPuns includes cuddling and snuggling under the covers, and Chain ensures Pun is fed.

all the soulmate pairs in my nature lives au

Katherine & Shelby: it's the nature wives, of course they're paired. they're the most solid bond in the server because they paired up for both 3rd and Last Life, so this is nothing new for them. they're the last pair left alive and they finish their season by each drinking a potion of poison at the same time.

False & Stress: somewhat a struggling pair, because False killed Stress in the final battle of 3rd Life. once they get that worked out though, they're pretty tight, and they end up with one of the most impressive builds on the server

Jojo & Netty: !! my favorites actually, they're very sweet. both of them are struggling with the Watcher stuff because Netty's from Evo and Jojo won the previous game. they decide they don't care about this season and just live pretty domestically like the ranchers did.

Pearl & Gem: shiny duooo absolutely dominate this season. both of them are risk takers and they split up often to be efficient, but bond wise, they're inseparable. it's impossible to make them distrust each other but they certainly try to do that to the other soulbonds

Sqaishey & Stacy: platonic wives, they know they're not the strongest pvpers so they try to leverage monopolies instead. before they've even got iron tools they have hidden farms for every animal.

Pris & Cleo: the most contentious pair. they fight all the time and disagree on everything, but if Cleo hears anybody trash talk Pris at any point, they will jump in the conversation and set them straight.

Eloise & Lizzie: anthropology girls. they take notes on every other team in order to find weaknesses and they WILL be fake snobby about it. they're out first but it's okay because they had a good time

- 2024 Writing Roundup -

I don't think I usually do this but I decided it would be a fun thing to do each year to remind myself of how much progress I've made when it comes to creations of all kinds, so...

- THINGS I DID THIS YEAR -

Scrapped the second attempt at Goddess-Touched... and after reconfiguring the end of Echoseers, completed a full first draft of the third attempt, from start to finish!

Began drafting book 4, which is tentatively named Fateweavers (though i am thinking about calling it Paragon(s) instead for Lore Reasons)!

Made another full editing pass of Echoseers, (potentially 2, i can't remember for sure) to the point where it'll be given to beta readers who finished Firebreathers to help me debug it some time next year.

This is also the year I gave Whispers to beta readers! And while that happened at a time where many of them couldn't finish, I did get lots of really valuable feedback on the book as a whole!

I launched a whole webcomic! And as you're reading this, Chapter Two is now out for the public! The Lost has been a particularly interesting thing to work on, because of the blend of visuals and writing, and I can't wait to do more and explore where the story is headed!

Also related to art: I took a bunch of commissions, one of which was a series of promotional bookmarks for A Sharper, More Lasting Pain by Alex Harvey-Rivas @authoralexharvey which was my absolute favorite to work on this year, and not just because that book absolutely obliterated me emotionally. The entire illustration process was the coolest thing ever to do with Alex, and I'll forever be grateful to them for choosing me to do it <3

- MY NUMBERS THIS YEAR -

Because I myself sometimes get caught up in numbers in a Bad Way, this section's going to be behind the read more - I'm really proud of what I managed this year, though!

If you want to skip past the numbers, there will be another bolded section for my hopes/plans for next year, too!

So, for some context: Back in early September (I believe it was specifically on September 6th) I looked at my word count for the year on my habit tracker and realized I had written just under 80,000 words.

And then I did some math. And made the biggest commitment of consistency of my life.

Because I realized that if I consistently wrote just under 1k a day for the rest of the year, I would hit 200,000 words by new years eve.

I ended up hitting 200k on December 14th, and this year's total word count (as of the morning of December 30th, when I'm finishing up this post and filling in all the blanks), ended up being 213,000 words!

Some other fun numbers from this year:

I read a total of 16 books, and started 7 more (some of which are on pause due to not scratching my brain right)

I drew a total of 300 panels for The Lost (give or take about ten, depending on how you define panels), 186 of which were in chapter one, and 114 in chapter 2! In total, The Lost is now 40 pages long (25 and 15, respectively)!

The total word count for Goddess-Touched ended up being 126,000 words (or ~500 pages)

As of writing, Fateweavers is at just over 34,000 words so far

The rest of the remaining words were split between some personal projects, the script for The Lost, and some experimental things that ended up being cut from drafts as I went (but the words still got counted and still exist on my hard drive!)

I streamed for my Patrons 32 times this year, despite getting sick a few times and getting absolutely obliterated by the holiday season.

- MY HOPES/PLANS FOR 2025 -

I want to write the same amount I did in 2024 (which will be easier, knowing the goal from day one instead of day 249)

I also want to decide, once and for all, whether I want to go self pub, indie pub, or trad pub. If I go trad pub, I want to get at least one round of query letters out into the world by October, and if I go self pub, I want to have hired an editor by the end of the year to go through whichever book I decide to publish first.

I want to read at least the same amount of books, too! Ideally, I want to read 4 more, which is the goal I set for myself last year, but considering how tough it's been to consistently have time for reading my main goal is to just keep up the pace, because right now my TBR is actually shrinking a bit!

I also want to get to making youtube videos again! It's been a long time, and I doubt I'll have a consistent schedule, but I have a really cool idea for something I can do that might be fresh and fun for the niche I want to fill. I'll definitely keep everyone updated on that front as I get closer to making it a reality!

I want to make more time for personal art, because that fell by the wayside in favor of The Lost, this year. I can feel the art bug itching at me in a way that the comic isn't fulfilling, and I have to get it out somehow.

Overall, despite the State of the World being what it is, I'm hopeful and excited for my personal goals and life in the upcoming year!!

really i think that viv writes all of her characters to have daddy issues because she has them herself. we dont care if your dad abused you, write a new damn character!

i find this kinda tasteless to say honestly. regardless of whether or not i like viv, it's kind of poor form imo to speculate on potential tumultuous issues with family, tangentially also kind of just a misogynist thing to demean women with potential abusive fathers for 'daddy issues'. i think there are very real, very current things with evidence to criticise viv for without pointing and laughing and going 'maybe she was abused and is being really obvious about it because of prevalent tropes in her cartoons'. even if you hate viv and don't care about this sorta thing, at the end of the day all it does is tell other abuse victims that under the right circumstances, that child abuse can either be funny to point out, or be a non-issue, if it happened to a specific person.

i really do think its as simple as viv just preferring to write men, to a serious fault. if it is something deeper than that it's not really my business to speculate.
