the discourse against bootstraps/libertarian style homesteading was inevitably going to lead to total rejection of the idea of growing food for yourself and your community
like yea libertarians are dumb but so is ordering uber eats every day and supporting govt subsidized monocrops and factory farmers
#i dont know much abt growing food outside of florida but native food forests and fishing/hunting/trapping there#and maybe some small meat animals like rabbits/quails/chickens#are GREAT things to look into idc if you rent own use a community garden etc... its so much more humane+sustainable than buying everything
