Imagine you're 10 years old, and super in love with the Time Travelers Wife movie. Like you watch this movie 3 times a week. So when your mom gets the book youre super excited to read it. Its a 541 page book so obvs they left a lot out in the movie.

And then you get to page 56

And youre 10 so you dont really know whats up, read it a few times, give up and get to the next page

And then youre like something is happening here but I dont iniw what it is. So you ASK YOUR MOM about it while she has to awkwardly fucking explain that "they were um... doing things.... while naked" which you know what that is code for.

But anyways this is a thing that exists and I'm pretty sure I never got past this part in the book, and I never watched the movie again because this book is fucking weird as fuck

I can never stop thinking about that scene in the Time Travelers Wife (book version) where the dudes time traveling selfs randomly fuck him, but then one day his dad walks in on him and his future self, and the future self is like "Yeah I knew this happened, this is the last time that this happens"

Which means that sometime AFTER his dad caught him, he still got it on with his past selfs and KNEW that his dad would walk in on him again and was like "not my monkeys not my circus" this has haunted me since I was 10 I hate that books time travel logic everything about it is terrible
