#i dont even know what they can do for tmj aside from “physical excercises” for our jaw but we tried them for months and they just hurt

If we have severe jaw pain in the back of our jaw behind where our wisdom teeth would be in the bones do we see a dentist for that or ?? what. We've already been diagnosed with TMJ but the pain is getting worse and worse, popping it now just feels like we've pulled a muscle and continues to hurt after but we can't not pop it because then our jaw locks up and we can't talk.
