hmm. even better than "obi-wan was cody's whole life before o66" is "cody had a tentatively blooming life outside the gar, had non-clone and even non-jedi friends, had hope and plans for the future, and the combination of the trauma of being mind-controlled to do endless battle by a person who saw him and his command as fleshdroids and also being forced to attempt to murder the man he loved and respected and swore to protect caused him to mentally and emotionally regress by fucking years"
